Food good. Service good. Ambience good. You can do it. But it won't be my regular place.

Mega delicious, homemade dishes. The four of us came here spontaneously, you should even reserve in advance during the week. I had a pizza, very very tasty. I would love to come back here.

Nice experience and excellrnt food

We were on a “home vacation” in Cologne again and after generous portions of sauerbraten, knuckles and roulades, we felt like something more frugal again - and decided on La Piazza. A good choice! The meatless pizzas tasted wonderful - the thin dough was crispy and the toppings were original. Special requests were fulfilled upon request, and the service colleague took the somewhat complicated order with humor. We'll stop by again on our next visit.

The pizza was huge which was the most positive point. The prices for each pizza were really high and then 3€ for each extra „normal“ ingredient not mentioning the price for extra special ingredient. Some good vegetarian options but I was not convinced by the price-performance ratio.

Wanted to eat there with the voucher book. A waiter saw us and shook his head because we changed tables and then the voucher book was only accepted for a cheaper dish. We were served and left

I came to Cologne for a weekend away, after a day of work and a long drive, I arrived hangry. So responded gruffly. But his delicious food made up for everything. Went back again on Saturday to take pizza with us for the hotel room. Of course it was perfect too. Service was certainly good. Highly recommended to have a nice meal there!

I visited this restaurant on Hohe Straße in Cologne while in a rush and ordered penne pasta. The service was efficient, though it felt a bit hurried at times. The highlight of my visit was the waiter, whose kindness and professionalism stood out, making the experience more enjoyable. While the food was satisfactory, the attentive service left a positive impression.

A must for me when visiting Cologne. A small pizzeria with a great ambience, absolutely good food, very nice boss, very friendly staff, absolutely recommended. Whether it's pasta or pizza, everything is freshly prepared, which is reflected in the taste.

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant and it was an all around perfect experience. As soon as I entered I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. The service staff was not only friendly, but also extremely professional and attentive without being intrusive. Every wish was fulfilled with a smile and they always made sure that we felt completely comfortable. What was particularly impressive was the quick and precise service - the drinks and food were served in perfect timing, and each dish was presented with an attention to detail. You could immediately tell that the team attaches great importance to quality and hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and relaxed, which made the whole experience even better. The employees had an excellent sense of finding the right moment for personal conversations or unobtrusiveness. In summary: It was a culinary evening in which the focus was not only on the food, but also on the excellent service. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for perfect hospitality and an all-round successful experience.

A pizzeria that can be recommended without reservation. Starting with the ambience, both inside and outside. The menu is full of delicious things that offer something for every taste. The employee is super nice and accommodating. The pizzas are great in both appearance and taste. Definitely very happy to come back!

We didn't get to the restaurant until after 10 p.m. It wasn't a problem at all to get something to eat. The super friendly and courteous service ended up bringing us 3 huge pizzas. The pizzas were simply awesome. The only thing that topped it was the excellent service. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Cologne.

The people were nice but even though we placed our order in front of a large group and we still thought they were doing it wisely, we got our food afterwards. In the restaurant there is a strange strong ventilation that blows really hard from the ceiling and you are constantly sitting in a draft. The atmosphere isn't really cozy, more like a "side shop". The food was tasty but overpriced for the overall performance (pasta €20). It wasn't bad but just not good or special, even though I even had some from the weekly menu. I find card payments only over 50€ really strange... I wouldn't go there again.

Unfortunately it wasn't good. Portion of pasta was extremely small, for 15 euros without meat or fish I felt ripped off. Plus a super small portion of bread for 2 people, and the bread was soggy. Doesn't work at all. Also first question “will you pay with cash or card?” if you sit down, no go. This is where people spar and fool the guests.

Waiter very unfriendly, pizza was at best okay. I can't recommend the place.

The food was great, but the service was AMAZING. We were traveling from and one of our kids was exhausted and also had low blood sugar that led to an emotional breakdown on their patio. We went to leave and the staff told us it wasn’t necessary and that kids were allowed to have emotions even at inconvenient times. The staff was amazing, they brought out a small treat and a smoothie. They let us take our food to a bench down the walk way so the child wasn’t embarrassed and they were so understanding! We really appreciated the kindness they showed us when we were in a stressful situation in an unfamiliar environment.

Service and ambience were good, food was actually good too, but we had two pasta dishes and both were swimming in oil. It's probably not Italian either because they make carbonara with cream and ham. But it's still not bad, you can give them a chance.

Servicen var perfekt og der blev virkelig sørget for god stemning omkring vores lille trætte dreng. Great restaurant with good service and delicious food. The pappadelle with pesto and shrimp are great.

We have traveled quite a bit in Germany and these are by far the best Italian pizzas we have had. Pizza Puttanesca in particular was a wild experience. The service was perfect and a good atmosphere was really ensured around our little tired boy. My daughter wants to highlight that the music was absolutely fantastic - from Disco to Bruno Mars and Modern Talking. All good..

It was quite ok. Unfortunately it doesn't have much to do with Italian cuisine. Rather high-priced German/Italian tourist dishes. We were full but we probably won't come back. The service was quite nice. Unfortunately, card payments starting at 50 euros were also rather unusual

On a beautiful Tuesday in October I had a delicious dinner. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the evening. I was on a business trip in Cologne and ate very tasty bruchetta and then a nice, big, good pizza. Unfortunately it was a bit thin otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The dough was very tasty, just a little thin, which is of course a matter of taste. Of course the topping shouldn't be too thick, but it could be a little more corn, peppers and olives. I would also like to highlight the waiter, a young woman with a beard, who was very polite, quick and courteous. Unfortunately, this is very rare today. Stay the way you are .

Were here today with the whole team on Alexis' recommendation and what can I say... it was fantastic! Service A1 with stars (and humor)! We were welcomed by the host very friendly and with typical Italian hospitality. Our order was taken promptly and with a lot of humor by the friendly waiter. The quickly delivered food was beyond any doubt. A textbook Italian pizza. Super thin, crispy and with an optimal ratio of dough, sauce and toppings. After the meal there were two digestifs on the house and a nice chat at the table. A really great experience at La Piazza. The only minor criticism was that Italian music only played towards the end of the evening. Previously there was a style of music playing that didn't really fit the ambience. But of course that's a matter of taste and doesn't spoil the overall picture at all. Grazie for the lovely evening and the delicious pizza 🫶🏻

We spontaneously went to La Pizza. There was no more space inside but we were offered something outside. The waitresses were incredibly friendly and accommodating. When it got a little cold outside after a while, I put my hands in my jacket pocket for a minute. A waiter immediately came and said we could come in now that something was free. In general, the service was super attentive and accommodating and very friendly. I can also recommend that everyone just take a look at the daily/weekly menu. We were very satisfied. Gladly again :)

Top class! We came to the restaurant expecting a simple pizzeria and our expectations were exceeded. Super nice staff, great ambience, very large selection of pizza and pasta and also very fair prices for the food. The drinks are a little more expensive but the quality (and especially quantity) of the food makes up for it. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very good, large typical Italian pizza! We all enjoyed it very much. We were there for the third time :) the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is also highly recommended. Very nice staff and friendly service. Happy to come back :)

We were there for dinner on Friday with 4 people. Food was great (rigatoni al forno, spagetti aglio oilio with scampi and 2 × rigatoni with chicken, spinach and gorgonzola and mixed salad). Everything was super tasty, I can only recommend it. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The rest of the team was super nice and friendly. They have lots of pizza and pasta options and yhey serve pretty quickly.The waiters are also attentive( sometimes a bit much) but overall still a great experience. They accept card if the bill is over a certain amount. For an appetizer,pizza, spaghetti and 1 bottled water for the table, we paid around €40 which isn't too bad for a very filling dinner.

The rudest waiter I have ever experienced! We waited 25 minutes for the drinks! The people at the next table didn't even have cutlery. They ate legit with their fingers... After 15 minutes they also got cutlery. The pizza didn't taste good! Total disaster!

We were warmly welcomed, sat down and felt comfortable. Service was quick and good. The food was delicious, unfortunately we didn't try the pasta, pizzas, salads or toasts. On the one hand, the pizza was unfortunately left on the heat source for a little too long. My colleague's, however, was perfect. The pizzas were more or less floury. There was definitely enough sauce with the pasta dishes. There was also arugula as a topping. Special requests were taken into account (such as without sliced ​​peppers in the Aglio Olio or the Kiba as a spritzer.) The men's toilets were clean. Unfortunately, things were different in the women's toilets. It was a bit of a shame that we were a bit saddened by the atmosphere, as there was a fetish club right across the street and there was an event there at exactly that time. That means we had to accept all the more or less funny sights. Just like the music that came from there.

It's nice to sit outside and the food is delicious. Great view of the mountains too. Parking is not so easy, you almost have to park in the thermal car park (the hour costs 3 euros)

Everything was great! I had something to eat there with my husband. The waiter who served us was such a sweetheart. We had a voucher book so we spontaneously went out to eat there. It wasn't our last time. Happy to come back! Many thanks also to the kitchen. The food was really delicious!

I had a voucher booklet (gourmet pad) where if I ordered two main courses I would get one main course for free. (You have to buy this booklet.) This was not recognized because I did not say it when ordering, but before paying (the invoice had not yet been created). The staff felt that canceling my dish was too much of a hassle, so they told me rather rudely that I still had to pay the €13.90. Perhaps I should also mention that we were there in a large group and not just one additional entree, but 10 additional entrees were purchased.

We came here with a big appetite and the food was great! I ordered the creamy pasta with chicken and pesto and it was just what I was craving! My friends ordered different pizzas and they all enjoyed it and the portions were good. One thing though was the tables were really close together and the music was a playlist we would play in a club. It was funny but at some point we had to ask the waiter to lower the volume because we couldn’t hear each other. The waiter also was a little sassy sometimes but it wasn’t dramatic we still enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend for the food it was really good!

It's great, the service is very friendly and helpful, the pizza is large but the crust is very thin, one person won't be too full even after eating the whole pizza.
