An excellent Italian restaurant in Gifhorn! The food is fresh, well-seasoned, and simply delicious. When I go there with my family, it's always a lovely experience. The service is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant: it's truly wonderful how much effort everyone puts into it.

I'll give it 5 stars if the owner stops being so stingy with the bread!!! Every time I order takeout and ask if I could please have a little more bread, he makes a face! Sorry, but that's really condescending! I'll keep an eye on it, more bread, more stars!!!! Ciao

If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. We were thrilled. The menu offers everything your heart desires. The dishes are prepared with so much love. The taste has truly never been so good. The staff is completely welcoming and warm. We didn't miss anything. They even offer fresh cocktails that not only look beautiful but are also truly delicious. We can 100% recommend it.

We spent a pleasant evening there with friends. The food selection was very varied. Each of us was very satisfied with our choice. It was very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone.

The food and atmosphere are highly recommended. However, the staff were overwhelmed; we were often forgotten, and we weren't asked for more drinks. However, we will definitely return because of the excellent food.

Very tasty food and attentive staff. When the place is busy, it takes a while for the food to arrive, but otherwise, it's highly recommended.

Today, after a long time, I ordered a pizza for pickup. But what happened? It was always the best pizza in Gifhorn, and now it's nothing like it used to be. The crust wasn't crispy, but hard. The dough was ultra-thin, and the toppings were sparse and unloving. There may be people who like it that way, but we don't.

The tagliatelle was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive and friendly. A special thank you to Rocco for the kind gesture for my birthday. We'll be happy to come back.

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant! Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen hervorragend zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die frischen Zutaten. Wir waren total begeistert. Essen und Getränke waren auf den Punkt. Auch der Grappa war hervorzuheben. Als Anmerkung: Wir haben das Restaurant schon mehrfach besucht.

It's quite "nice" here. The price/performance ratio is okay, but there's definitely room for improvement. Our server was a bit overwhelmed, "forgetting" orders, and the tagliatelle with truffles was soaked in olive oil that it was completely mushy when served. Well-intentioned, but way too much oil! I wish the service was more attentive, without having to ask for drinks.

Really bad service. Was just there. We picked up pizza to take away and got the wrong pizza then we went and instead of getting the right pizza he just slapped salami on it. Simply disgusting.

I was at La Piazza again today. I've been a regular customer for years. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I can highly recommend the lamb chop and also the veal rack. I'm looking forward to coming back soon :) Ps: the terrace offers a special and super cozy atmosphere.

Perfetto!! We have been visiting La Piazza on and off for 10 years and have NEVER been disappointed! Also today on Sunday lunchtime we were served a really excellent meal (tuna steak; lamb chops with vegetables and potatoes). It may sound simple but it was delicious. Great meat and fish quality, fried to perfection. Simply great. Quality has its price: main course with tuna 30 euros, lamb 35 euros. My impression over the years: they keep getting better! How do they do that when everything in Germany is supposedly getting worse? So dear team from La Piazza: keep it up!!

Viva Italy! Yes, there are many good Italian restaurants. There are 100 pizzas and 100 pasta dishes everywhere. But what is very rare - real Nonna cuisine! With a lot of love and Italian charm I experienced Nonna Küche here again today. There is no recipe for this, this is cooking from the heart. Far from the menu, I finally wanted to enjoy "Cacio e Pepe" again - which, by the way, is rarely found on the menu. A quick question, a nice conversation with the chef and after a short time I finally had a really outstanding portion of "Cacio e Pepe" in front of me. Even the Romans didn't do it better - except for the city's home advantage with the weather, which Gifhorn finds difficult to copy ;-) Thanks to the really great team, this clearly sets you apart from “08/15 Bella Italia”.

I had to wait 25 minutes for the waitress to come to me when the restaurant was empty. I ordered a beer and a pizza. I waited 15 minutes for the beer and then it took another 50 minutes until I got my food (pizza). I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN.

We, parents and grandparents of 3 teenage girls (4, 7, 10), were there for lunch on the occasion of a birthday. We were given a nice side room (the children were thrilled and loudly expressed their enthusiasm). The attentive service fulfilled all wishes in a friendly manner (despite the relatively large lunchtime business). The food was really very good. The eldest girl objected several times that she would give 'full marks'. I can only recommend laPiazza and it won't be the last time I've been there.

Hostess Maniela knows exactly what to do and how to give an evening of truly beautiful Italian food that extra dimension with heart, natural charm and genuine friendliness. I walked in there years ago and...I'll continue to do so!

Underground shop. Simply canceled 3 days before the reserved visit with 7 people and thus ruined our mother's 75th birthday. Serious is different.

I have no idea why it's so buzzing, I imagined the duck ragout on fussili to be different, this carelessly thrown together dish tastes like nothing. The stuff comes from a can and the pasta from an Aldi pack. The tables outside are carelessly bare, no napkins, no decorations. The cola could use some carbonation and be cooler. Only the service is friendly, you don't have to wait long, but still not recommended. I imagine a real Italian to be different.

Draußen ein großes und ein kleines Bier getrunken. Man sitzt dort ganz nett. Allerdings kostet ein großes Bier 6 € und ein kleines Bier 4 €. Eindeutig zu teuer... und man geht dort halt nicht mehr hin.

We drank a large and a small beer on the terrace. We didn't read a drinks menu. But charging €6 for a large beer and €4 for a small beer is quite daring. On a terrace at the end of Gifhorn's pedestrian zone. Wow! :-/

Pizza was good, the tagliatelle with chanterelles not at all. “Al dente” a foreign word in an Italian restaurant? The oily sauce also left a lot to be desired. Was it perhaps the “dish of the day” that seemed to have just been warmed up in the evening? Unfortunately we don't recommend this pasta dish.

Insalata Mista: watery, dressing bland and poured too much on top and tasteless. Wheat beer 6 euros... Waiter would like to be like the grown-ups, but can't, embarrassing! Never again!!!

Had a spontaneous meal there with a friend last Friday. We were lucky that we got the last free table. Reservation is better! Very good service. Thank you again for the great white wine recommendation! Unfortunately, the requested spaghetti with clams on the daily menu was out. Alternatives to spinach ravioli and pasta with salmon were also very tasty. There was also delicious fresh bread. Gladly again!

Pleasing experience. Amazing food, good service clean restaurant, really everything you can wish for in a restuarant. I had the Spaghetti with shrimp, amazing. The texture and taste were both amazing. There were a couple tables free, so thats good, no wait time at all. Another thing, is that they give as much parmesan cheese as you need. The restuarant itself was really really clean, and so were the bathrooms, surprisingly. One of the bad things though is its a bit expensive. 2 waters and 2 plates of spaghetti with shrimp was almost 50 euro. Understanably though. The service was also really good. Wait time was no more then 7 minutes for my food fo arrive. Also, the worker gave my little brother and me a free lollipop. 10/10 honestlyz

Google just tells me I was here five years ago. It is a mistake to have been a guest here so rarely. Today I was finally here again and I'm still thrilled. For me, Nico in particular is the ideal image of a restaurateur. Super friendly, attentive and always keeping the guests' wishes in mind. The whole thing was still humorous and sent in a friendly manner. I enjoy being here and look forward to the excellent food.

Relatively spontaneous in GF with an old friend for a pizza at an Italian restaurant... What can I say, service was very nice (our waiter even introduced himself by name, something we've never experienced before) and very attentive, drinks and food were at the table in no time, pizza was really good, boss Lucano was there shortly afterwards table and asked if everything was OK, we talked briefly about the good old "La Gondola days", and at the end there was a Marsala, perfect! Very, very happy again!

Das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet wir haben Vorspeise und Hauptgang genommen und wir konnten NICHTS bemängeln. Die Porzionen reichlich und dazu schön dekoriert. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Geschäft verdient mehr Sterne, weil wir uns bei La Piazza so wohl gefühlt haben, dass wir bestimmt wieder vorbei kommen werden.

Der Service war sehr gut und freundlich, das essen hat super geschmeckt und der service ging schnell.

Der Mitarbeitermangel in der Gastronomie hat sich bei La Piazza zum guten gewendet, dass was manche vielleicht gestört hat kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. La Piazza, hat mit den neuem mitlerweile seit einem Jahr fleissigen und kreativen Koch, sowie dem alten Chef Luciano und der Bedienung unschlagbares Team gebildet. Das Essen ist wirklich qualitativ hochwertig und sehr schmackhaft. Man freut sich immer wieder hinzugehen. Der Chef, wenn ihm die Zeit erlaubt nimmt er sich Zeit für den Gast. Die sehr freundliche Bedienung macht alles, dass der Gast sich wohlfühlt. Ein Typ für die Besucher, ein Tisch vorbestellen.

Ein toller Ort zum relaxen. Vor allem in der Sommerzeit draußen im Biergarten, auf dem Rathausplatz. Allerdings darf man nichts gegen Kirchenglockengeläut haben.😊
