La Odicea Restaurant in Hamburg

Am Abend noch Lust auf ein zwei drei Getränke gehabt und da die Bar wirklich nett aussah und wir draußen sitzen konnten, haben wir uns direkt einen Platz gesucht. Wir hatten viel Zeit, um Leute zu beobachten und uns einen völlig überforderten Kellner anzuschauen. Nachdem auch wir dann mal eine Bestellung aufgeben konnten, gab es erneut viel Zeit, um auf die Getränke zu warten. Positiv gedacht dauert ein Bier bekanntermaßen 7 Minuten, also wartenden wir noch etwas. Und siehe da, an einem gut gezapften Bier lag die erhebliche Wartezeit nicht - eine fast schon schale Plörre. Sorry liebes November-Team. Hier besteht großer Handlungsbedarf! Wir kommen erstmal nicht wieder und werden unser Kurstreffen am Wochenende dort weder beginnen noch enden lassen.

Yesterday's beef menu was simply amazing. The food was delicious. The service is courteous, friendly, with a great feel-good factor.

An absolute gem in Barmbek! Café Oktober is my new favorite place in Hamburg! The atmosphere is warm and inviting - perfect for chatting with friends or simply enjoying a coffee in peace. The furnishings are cozy and lovingly designed so that you immediately feel at home. The service is excellent, the team is friendly, attentive and always manages to spread a family atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy are the delicious burgers, pizzas, coffee specialties and the varied lunch dishes - all very tasty and prepared with a lot of love. Contrary to some rumors, the café is by no means closed and I have never had any problems with card payments - everything has always gone smoothly. For me, Café Oktober is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and have a good time. Can highly recommend it to anyone traveling in Barmbek! I

We ate at Green Papaya in the evening during the week and it was very busy. The service seemed very overwhelmed and had major problems with the bill, regardless of whether it was cash or card. The food was ok, but I've eaten much better in the branch on Stephansplatz. There were also optical savings. We probably won't come back.

Very clean and modern restaurant/bar. The food (burger with fries and fish) was ready quickly and tasted excellent. Good value for money. A big thank you goes to the extremely nice staff! I was here on Saturday to watch the Bundesliga. A few other guests tried to persuade a staff member to switch to a specific game in the conference. But since I wanted to watch the conference, the switch wasn't made. I found it correct that the employee didn't allow himself to be bullied, but instead stayed true to the line of always showing the conference. Even if the other guests were in the majority and then went somewhere else. The employee also took my side when the others uninvited tried to persuade me to watch “their” game. He asked her not to do that. The situation was ultimately resolved directly and professionally. This is not a given and I really appreciate it. That's why I'm happy to come back and recommend The Public pub & bar :)
