LA NIÑA Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Bremen

The food was very good, the service attentive, and the decor nice, but cramped, crowded, and somewhat noisy. Unfortunately, my request for prunes wrapped in bacon wasn't fulfilled. The two-hour waiting time rule is well implemented, but you also feel a bit rushed, especially since the next customers are already waiting at the door.

Always very friendly and the tapas are delicious. Sometimes it's quite loud, and conversation can be difficult in larger groups. But that's just the Spanish way of life. ☺️ I really enjoy going to La Niña. 🩷

The food was delicious, and even though the restaurant was full, the food arrived quite quickly. The waitress was also very attentive without being intrusive. The only downside is the ambiance, as the tables are close together and it's rather noisy.

I've been a regular at LaNina for years and we've never been disappointed. The food is always good and the tapas are very varied. We've also never had a bad experience with any of the servers. The restaurant can get very crowded at times, which makes it quite noisy, especially in winter when the heated pavilion is set up. But the fact that it's so busy just speaks to the restaurant's quality :).

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a good selection. The service was super friendly, and even though it was quite busy on New Year's Eve and we were only given a table for two hours, we didn't feel rushed at all. It was a pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back again.

A very frosty welcome and a long wait for our order. We were almost surprised to find out it was a self-service restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant's hospitality has declined. Perhaps we just happened to be there on the wrong day. However, the food more than made up for it. We'll be back.

Very cozy, very friendly staff, very delicious food

Everything was excellent – ​​the service was friendly, drinks and food were served quickly, and the food was very tasty.

I was satisfied and would eat there again.

We were a group of four and had the tapas platter; we enjoyed it very much. We had a very nice young waiter. Despite having a stroller and a 10-month-old child, everything went smoothly. The one star deducted for ambiance is only because it was very loud, which is unavoidable when so many people are talking.

We were a party of four on a Friday evening. First off, a reservation is highly recommended, and that brings us to the downside of our review. Our table was reserved for 2.5 hours, after which the next group was ready. The problem is that you only find this out when you arrive, not when you make the reservation. The food was good, and the staff was also friendly.

Update 11/30/25 The server couldn't find our reservation despite receiving a reservation confirmation via email. We had previously ordered bread with aioli and then, two minutes later, decided on the tapas platter for two people, which includes aioli and bread. The server then told us we would have to pay extra for the bread and aioli. Customer-oriented? Not a chance, and incredibly unfriendly. We then decided to order one tapas each! My chicken skewer was dripping with grease! The aioli tasted more like herb butter! We won't be coming back! And we definitely won't be recommending La Nina! We've been to this restaurant a few times before. The tapas are very good, even if the price is a bit high. The service is good, and the staff are friendly and always attentive.

It would have been nice if we had been informed when making the reservation that we would have to vacate the table after two hours. My guests were told this immediately upon entering the restaurant.

Unfortunately, it was too cold in the conservatory, even with the portable gas heater set up, to enjoy a relaxed meal. Otherwise, as always, the service and food were excellent!

The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was delicious. It was a bit noisy in the room. Unfortunately, after 1 hour and 45 minutes, we were asked without warning if we wanted to order anything else – we weren't ready yet. We were then informed that we could pay immediately, as the table would be given away again in 15 minutes. This wasn't mentioned in the online booking, and we were more or less kicked out. What a shame! We would have liked to stay longer and order dessert.

We were very satisfied with the tapas. Everyone enjoyed them and we were full. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We received friendly and prompt service. The noise level is relatively high when all the tables are occupied. The two-hour time slot in the evening isn't ideal, but unfortunately, it's become quite common. Afterwards, we went to the gondola for a nightcap.

We went to La Niña today, and it was simply fantastic! The service was absolutely fantastic – we received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home. When we were getting our drinks, we weren't sure what to order. So the lady simply put together something for us herself – and it was absolutely delicious! Even though it was quite busy for a Tuesday evening, we only waited 15 minutes for our food. My wife ordered a steak well-done, and it came out perfectly. I had steak with rice and roasted vegetables – and, as recommended, we also had prawns and mushrooms as tapas. Everything was perfect and tasted simply amazing. Honestly, this was an 11 out of 10. I've eaten elsewhere many times, but never like this. Absolutely recommend it – we'll definitely be back!

I ate at La Nina with a large group. The one star goes to the quality of the food, which was really good. Unfortunately, I discovered that the service was very unfriendly and disrespectful. One employee (slim, with bangs) seemed constantly stressed, shouted loudly across the dining room, and also attracted attention by giving guests disparaging looks. Overall, the atmosphere was extremely unpleasant and uninviting.

We've become regular customers. We can highly recommend it; a great restaurant!

The food was suuuuuper delicious! The service, unfortunately, could have been improved. We sat in a corner, and even though our drinks were empty, we weren't asked for any new drinks. We even tried to "wave" someone over, but the success rate was low. If we come back, it will only be for the delicious tapas.

The food was okay, but overall overpriced. One of us ordered the Calamares fritos – they were really delicious. The other two were torn between two options: the "Plato de tapas variadas Madrid" with 6 tapas for €18.90 with a different dish, or the 9-tapas menu for two people for €44.80 (for 2 people or more, €22.40 per person). We assumed that the 9-tapas menu included double portions (you're paying for two people anyway) and specifically asked the waitress. She also said that, for example, a double portion with two chicken thighs should include four. What we ended up with were clearly individual portions – nothing double, nothing large. In the end, we paid €25.90 more – just for 3 additional small tapas and the option to choose which 9. It's not worth it at all. We asked the waitress about it, but unfortunately, there was no reaction or accommodation from the restaurant. Very disappointing. Regarding the quality of the tapas: The chorizo was too salty and burnt, the surimi sticks only tasted of starch, no crab flavor at all. Everything was quite greasy and salty – typically Spanish, perhaps, but made without creativity or care. I lived in Spain for over two years, and this was rather careless and focused on profit. Another major drawback: The tables outside are extremely close together. It was loud, making it difficult to chat with friends – no privacy, no pleasant atmosphere. This is good for the restaurant, of course – the more tables, the more revenue. But for guests, it was a stressful and stressful experience.

Super delicious tapas, and the white wine tasted very good too. The price was also very reasonable. A highlight at the end was the crème catalana. Absolutely delicious :)

Nice ambiance: Closely spaced seating inside. Two outdoor areas: one in the conservatory and one under parasols. A selection of tapas and various dishes. The appetizer, "Tapas According to the Chef's Mood," differs only slightly from the main course, "Tapas" (see photos). Creativity is more important than that. The beef meatballs with saffron sauce were well-balanced in flavor. Unfortunately, the rice was extremely dry and hard. It could be much better.

The tapas are impressive. In our opinion, they're among the best in Bremen. We sat outside on a well-designed and very busy terrace. The traffic on the main road didn't bother us. Sitting on the street in tapas bars in Spain is also noisy ;) All in all, a recommendation.

Great food, very friendly service! Everything arrived on time. The atmosphere was okay, but unfortunately very loud (acoustics and loud people).

Four couples and I went there for dinner one Sunday evening. We had four Cityfortwo block meals (€10 off each for a total bill of €25 or more). Before ordering, we indicated that we all wanted a block. The food was very good, but when it came time to pay, the waiter only wanted three blocks. Then, after a lengthy discussion, he reluctantly accepted the four blocks. Our bills per couple ranged from €55-75. There was no limit in the rules. It's a shame that a lovely evening ended so badly.

We stopped by spontaneously and caught the lunch special until 4:00 PM. They had fantastic soup with it, as well as the fish platter and chicken gyros, all delicious and at a good price. The gyros could have been served a bit hotter, but they still tasted wonderful. The service was also very friendly throughout. We'll definitely be back soon!
