super bad quesadilla, i can make better at home with low budget

I really liked the restaurant. I tried their Nachos con pollo and Tacos chicken both were delicious. Nice ambience and good service as well. The food comes in huge quantity and it is worth for the money which I spent there . It was my first time trying Mexican food and it was beyond my expectations. I hope I could go again there with my friends and family too✨✨

The staff were friendly, however, I got disappointed. I ordered Chicken wrap with potatoes but got beef burrito with rice. Even if I insist that I didn’t order this, they told me the photos in Menu are different as what I ordered. At the end, they changed that and brought me the right order. The foods were not real Mexican food, taste normal

Excellent Mexican dinner, good cocktails and Latin music in the background... We took a mix of fried foods (I don't have the photo) and meat fajitas (these two huge and delicious dishes arrived!) Recommended!

I am Mexican and nothing on the menu is Mexican at all, it disrespects our extraordinary gastronomy.

Went here on a stopover in Frankfurt, got off the train and headed straight down and thought we would pop into this place for a drink and some snacks. As soon as we entered there was a man sitting outside yelling at the waiter with hand gestures telling us where to sit (assuming it was the owner) from this moment I felt very uncomfortable and I told my partner this. When we sat down, no later than 20 seconds the man outside was screaming at my partner to take his hat off, he was yelling and saying how dare you he disrespectful and wear your hat - my partner didn’t appreciate this and got his back up. We were sitting in the beer garden kind of half in, half out and it was a 29 degree day. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left, we then spoke to someone down the street and they said it happens quite often. Avoid this place, seems dangerous and culture differences should not be taken into account whilst eating at a restaurant in the middle of a summers day, assuming the owner was of middle eastern culture as he shouted in Arabic language then changed to English.

We have tried Mexican all over the world and this place was pathetic. To start with, you dont add Indian flavors (potatoes) inside burritos. The servers didnt really care much about our needs. Both the servers were busy on their phones. We were a party of 6 and asked water and they gave us 2 glasses only. Avoid this place by all means

A gin and tonic with degassed tonic from the plastic bottle with almost non-existent gin is 12.50 eu... when the menu says 8 eu gin... but I didn't think that degassed hot water would cost 4.50 eu and even without ice... I can't imagine the food...(unsuitable bathrooms) ..stay away...m place....

We received extremely friendly service and ate an extremely (!!!) delicious meal for a reasonable price!! When we actually wanted to leave, we were given a Caipirinha, which we shared with very good music... a very, very nice evening!! We will definitely come back next time we are in Frankfurt!!

Wir haben Tacos und einen Burrito zum Mittagessen bestellt. Die Portionen waren jeweils sehr gross, besonders diejenige der Tacos. Es hatte von allem genug, bei keinen Zutaten wurde gespart. Das Essen war jedoch alles in allem durchschnittlich, nichts hat überzeugt. Die Sauce, die Zubereitung und das Fleisch war alles Standard, nicht wirklich schlecht aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Deshalb würde ich das Restaurant als mittelmässig bewerten, für das Bahnhofsviertel in Frankfurt reicht es.

The food was okay at quite high prices, unfortunately the service is quite a disaster, you can't communicate with most of the employees because they don't speak German and the waiting times are underground, nachos ordered as a starter come last after almost 2 hours and repeated reminders ....

TOURIST TRAP: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was overcharged for my meal and charged for a beverage I did not ask for. When I tried to rectify the situation, I was met with insults and indifference from my unprofessional server, who claimed to also be the manager. I do not subscribe to the "The customer is always right." motto and did try to meet the "manager" more than halfway. A neighbouring patron supported my claim and spoke on my behalf. However, his plea was made in vain. Should you still choose this restaurant, ensure you are given the most up-to-date menu.

Attended the event on June 25, 2024, and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. Felt pretty uncomfortable with how the Romanian fans were treated—they were super peaceful, but still seemed to draw a lot of negative attention. Can't shake off a vibe of unfair treatment, almost felt like there was some bias going on.

Great cocktails and food is also good... Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time (over half an hour) until we could pay - we were told 3 times. But otherwise everything is fine

Place looks nice from the outside until you get seated at your table. The humidity is awful, the walls are dirty and there are flies everywhere. I went for the nachos but was already regretting my choice to try their food. I tried to cancel my order but the kitchen already started preparing the food so I took the chance at tasting it once the food arrived. As expected... canned guacamole from the supermarket, beef that tastes canned and tasteless chips. I had a Coke Zero with it which was flat so I had a beer which was fine. Server was nice (not her fault) I suspect the owner to be the woman wearing the English flag running around managing the payments. So the entire experience makes much more sense now. Looking for food? STAY AWAY! Looking for drinks and beer and you're English? Welcome home.

Not authentic Mexican! Veggie food was carrots, peas, cauliflower and some tomato. One pepper in my salad at th side. Shame as the staff were lovely, in particular the blonde woman who worked there and th Asian man behind the bar. Coriander in the sour cream however was amazing!

In the restaurant, there were about four customers, and we waited 45 minutes for our food. In the meantime, the waitress was loudly arguing with someone from the staff. It was very unpleasant. The nachos were store-bought, some salsa from Rewe, topped with what seemed like cheapest Edam cheese, which turned it into a compact concrete slab. I called the waitress over to ask how one is supposed to eat this, as nachos should be picked up chip by chip, but this couldn't even be cut with a steak knife. I had her take it away and canceled the burrito order because they brought one to the customer next to us, and at first look, it looked like something I wouldn't eat even if I were paid to, let alone if I had to pay for it. The manager came over, and together with the waitress, they apologized, offered a drink on the house, and something else to eat, which was a nice of them but we refused. Even based on the photos shared by other customers, they simply don't know how to prepare Mexican food here, which is a shame for so called Mexican restaurant. We paid only for the beer and left.

The Mex Lounge is worth a visit. The food and the ambience are good. The music is also appropriately selected, but unfortunately it was played in a continuous loop - that's a bit annoying at times... The service itself was good, but it was clear that we would have liked to be "kicked out" after our meal. No service staff came to ask if everything was OK (like all the time). We then wanted to try a typical cider (a small glass) to decide whether we would each like to order a large glass. We communicated that so clearly - but I also had to address the condition that we wanted something else. The small glass was also brought, but no service staff came after that. After asking twice, we paid and left - what a shame! But all in all you can definitely go.

The food was very good and came really quickly. We had a starter together (nachos with cheese gratin, very cheesy 😍), which came 10 minutes later. The main courses (burrito with chili con carne and vegetarian burrito) also came very quickly and tasted good. People often asked if everything tasted good, which I thought was good. However, towards the end we wanted to order something, had indicated it, and no one came, even though the restaurant wasn't full.

The food is catastrophically bad. The avocado cream is colored and tastes spoiled. Never again!

The only good things were the pineapple juice and music. The place is not comfortable at all and can work only as a sports bar. The food was absolute trash - the tacos are messy, hard to eat, overstuffed, dripping in tomato sauce. Honestly can better make at home myself. Shame for calling themselves a Mexican place

I had nachos con carne. I had to look for the meat, but the nachos were drowning in tomato sauce and oil. As a result, they were completely soggy and also way too salty.

We didn't have high hopes for this place anyway, but we were still disappointed.. Sticky menus and music that has nothing to do with that type of restaurant, were our first clues indicating that we should go. We ordered the sharing platter for starters and then the chicken fajitas and the chicken burrito. The same tasteless, most likely boiled, chicken and the same similarly tasteless tomato sauce was used for both the fajitas and the burrito. As for the starter, we feel that everything was reheated from frozen. We eat most of the starter, but mains were almost left untouched.. The drinks were good though. As for the service it was ok. The bare minimum.. Would not recommend it. Avoid if you can..

We ordered chilli con carne and hamburgers. The chilli tastes artificial. The burger patties were partially frozen. The fries were very tasty.

I was there today with a barometer voucher. The fajita chicken was a good portion size. Unfortunately, the tortillas were not warmed up and were ready-made and there were only 2 pieces! You can go with a voucher.

A restaurant with terrible service that asks customers to leave early. I've been to this restaurant before. Because this restaurant is open until 2am. So I work late A restaurant open until late at night I remembered coming to this restaurant. I didn't really like it before though Because I can't help it Because there is no place Visit us. I know Mexican food, There's no tomato in that burrito, right? When I asked about it, the staff said they didn't have it. But the avocado cream It had tomatoes! If you are looking for authentic, this is not it. Ordered nachos and tacos—Nachos were just stacked with sauce and cheese, tacos were not made with seasoning. However, mojito was great.

Saw a mouse run over our foot (it actually touched me) and into the back of the restaurant. Told the wait staff about it and no longer really felt hungry. We asked for our bill (didn’t ask for a discount or anything) The waitress offered to give us one meal feee, which we accepted. The chef then came out and was pretty annoyed at us. Telling us the mouse probably ran back outside and the food was fine. My concern is how the chef was just mad at us for seeing a mouse and not concerned about it.

I have never eaten Mexican food in Mexico, so I don’t know if the food here is authentic. The food is OK, but even if you have ordered burritos, rice is still served, which means the starch intake is too much.

The ambiance of this place was definitely up to par. That’s why it’s disappointing that the food and service did not mirror that at all. The food was lackluster. There was barely any flavor to the shrimp fajitas. They give you three different sauces with the shrimp fajitas and each sauce comes with one chip, which fell short as well because there’s only so much sauce you want to put on your fajita. Not sure if our waitress forgot to bring us chips.. who knows. The waitress also upcharged my fiancé for a bottle of water she stated she would comp due to her tossing out a large portion of the water after discovering my glass wasn’t cleaned. Our bill came up to $60 with a tip for shrimp fajitas, chicken tacos, and a bottle of water, which did not make sense to me and wasn’t worth the money. I’ve had far better Mexican food. Would not return or do not recommend.

Pathetic service. We went there as it was our goto place. Firstly, their veg options have only aubergine in it and that too bland and tasteless. Though it was nobody's fault their waiter spilled some drinks on our food and yet they have audacity to ask for service tip!! And also after literally taunting us for not giving a 14 euro tip which was pre applied on the bill. When complained about poor service their manager said " aah mishaps and service like these are common" and insist on giving entire bill.

The food was delicious and the service is good! The only flaw, I think the prices are a bit excessive! For a burrito filled with corn, beans, peppers, beef rump strips, a small salad and rice, it costs €19.90. That's pretty juicy! Otherwise I can recommend the restaurant.

If you know real Mexican or Texmex food, this place disappoints greatly. The seasonings tasted more like curry than Mexican. Can't recommend Ambiance is OK, service wasn't amazing either.

Lugar bastante bonito, comida muy rica y abundante. Nos sentimos muy cómodos al llegar, nos atendieron bastante bien. Lo único que no me gustó fue que nos medio sacaron porque supuestamente tenían la mesa reservada, eran las 16 de la tarde, y estaba el restaurante vacío. Pero bueno. Aún así lo recomiendo por la comida.

The woman working there is a gem. She's lovely and really made the whole experience of eating there special. I got the La Mex burrito and it was delicious!

Literally on the doorstep of Frankfurt main train station (maybe five minute walk). This little gem of a bar/restaurant was a welcome find. From the minute we walked through the door, there was a great atmosphere - lively, not too loud, lovely friendly staff and a really great menu - both food and drinks. In fact, the food was excellent (we are a tough crowd to please) and some of the best Mexican dishes we have eaten. Good, hearty and homemade. I have specific dietary needs at the moment due to a medical condition and nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate. The cocktails were large and delicious - as were the food portions. I have no idea how that tiny galley kitchen put out such a wide range of menu, so quickly and so very well. A big thank you to the lovely lady who patiently served us (we don't speak German and her English was excellent) and for letting in three weary and very wet travellers in with no reservation. If you are ever in the area, I would heartedly recommend La Mex lounge. They deserve to be a popular destination.

Il est difficile dans le quartier de la gare de trouver un resto qui fasse autre chose que du fastfood. Lors de mon passage (j'ètais la journée à la foire Food Ingredients) cette enseigne m'a fait tilt et je n'ai pas regretté. La carte est courte (le contraire est signe de congelés). J'ai pris en entrée des calamars frits (certes ce n'est pas de la haute gastro), mais servis très copieusement. Il en a été de même avec de l'agneau avec une sauce piquante juste ce qu'il faut. Un vrai plaisir

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Wobei ich selten mexikanisch Essen war. Also kann ich nicht die Beurteilung nur ohne Vergleich tun. Der Service war top. Wir wollten zu zweit als Vorspeise ein Teller Nachos bestellen. Es wurde uns freundlich mitgeteilt, dass wir dies doch im Anschluss tun sollen, falls wir noch Hunger hätten. Sehr guter TIP

Super leckeres essen. Hatte einen Enchilada Carne und alles war geschmacklich perfekt und schön dekoriert. Die super nette Bedienung/Besitzerin? versüßt einem den Tag mit ihrer guten Laune :) würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen

Essen schmeckt sehr gut der Laden ist sauber und ordentlich der Service ist auch Klasse alle super freundlich und höflich mich hat die Kellnerin Adina bedient und ich war sehr zufrieden Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und ausreichend und das Ambiente war stimmig. Trotz niedrigerer temperaturen konnten wir dank Wärmelampen dennoch entspannt draußen essen. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr nett, seine Empfehlung war super. Leider wurden wir während unseres Essens 3 mal angebettelt und der rosenverkäufer ging sogar durch das Innere Restaurant ohne aufgehalten zu werden. Die cocktails waren leider nicht so gut, in meinem Mojito war im unteren Drittel so viel kleingehäckselte Minze, dass ein trinken mit strohhalm nicht möglich war.

Die reiche Auswahl an Speisen hat überzeugt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ohne Reservierung haben wir zur Stoßzeit Abends spontan noch einen Tisch bekommen. Man sollte aber besser reservieren. Die Speisen waren schnell zubereitet und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Bedienung schaute öfters nach dem Rechten. Bezahlt werden konnte bargeldlos. Das Restaurant ist definitiv zu empfehlen.

Essen ganz OK. Früher war es besser. Wirkt mittlerweile sehr lieblos.

Mir fehlt eine Stärkere Sousse (Chimichurri) für eine Argentinischen Rumpsteak, alternativ Marinieren, aber Textur war gut. Wir sind draußen unsere Malzeit gehabt, war OK aber die Straße ist nich sauber.

Das letzte Mal als ich dort war (2019) liefen zwei Mäuse die Wände hoch. Danach gabs kein Wiedersehen.

Essen war leider durchmischt. Tacos waren gut, Enchilada und Burrito eher nicht. Naccos als Vorspeise reicht auf jeden Fall für mehr als eine Person. Getränke waren ok, Cocktails waren super. Wir hatten Livemusik am Abend die etwas zu laut gewesen ist für ihre Qualität.

Naja Frankfurter Bahnofsviertel halt - Brennpunkt für Drogen, Prostitution und Gewalt - völlig rechtsfreier Raum. Entsprechend dort eine Außenterasse zu betreiben birgt Probleme (wie bei uns, wo Drogenabhängige im Wahn wild gestikulierend und artikulierend die Kunden belästigen) Das Personal versucht sein bestes, aber ist halt auch weitgehend machtlos. Das Essen war zwar recht lecker, aber es waren viel zu kleine Portionen und wir mussten ernsthaft zweimal bestellen um satt zu werden.
