La maison bleue in Berlin

As someone who is half Tunisian and has spent a lot of time in Tunisia, I can confidently say that the food at La Maison Bleue in Berlin is incredibly authentic - as far as it is possible with the resources available in Germany . The dishes are prepared with love, the spices are perfectly balanced, and you are immediately reminded of the aromas and flavors of Tunisia. I would particularly like to highlight the waiter - I'm not sure if he is the boss - Mr. Khaled. He is an incredibly personable man whose friendliness and hospitality enhance the experience. The entire staff is also very warm and attentive, which perfectly rounds off the already great atmosphere. La Maison Bleue is an absolute recommendation for me. If you love Tunisian food or would like to get to know the authentic cuisine, you should definitely not miss this restaurant. My highest recommendation!

Tonight I had amazing experience with Tunisian 🇹🇳 food ! Started of with starters baguette and Breka and then had most delicious couscous with beef and kolla De poisson which was mixed sea food main dish served in traditional way ! Loved the warm interior and friendly service and staff … Totally recommend this place and will try again 11/10

I'm confused by the menu (I haven't been there yet). When looking for authentic Tunisian food, you come across hummus and couscous with *raisins* and with *cinnamon-stewed onions*, Makarouna harra with *chickpeas and tomatoes*, tzatziki, yogurt, halloumi, roz djerbi without chicken but also with tzatziki and co?? As a Tunisian, unfortunately for me this doesn't correspond to the authentic thing I know from my homeland. I don't understand why it is necessary to add these extras when the cuisine is perfect as it is and no local Tunisian would eat like that. You can do a fusion, but then the whole flair somehow doesn't fit with the 'authentic Tunisian cuisine '. I'm sure it doesn't taste bad, but I'm a little disappointed with the concept. (It could be that the type of couscous is eaten in a certain region, for example, but personally I've never heard of it, and the use of cinnamon in Tunisian cuisine actually hardly used). This message serves more as food for thought and an opinion on your concept. Good luck in the future.

Great food, but even greater service. Waiter was super nice. We got the seafood platter and vegetarian platter to share between 4, really good squid and filled pastry. Prices are alright, atmosphere great for a meal with friends.

La Maison Bleue really feels like home. The food was absolutely delicious and so authentically Tunisian I could tell a lot of love and care went into it. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to experience delicious authentic tunisian cuisine.

We went to this Tunisian restaurant with the desire to taste authentic dishes from our cuisine. Being Tunisian, we know well what the typical flavors and preparations should be like. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We tried three dishes: Kafteji merguez, Ma9rouna harra con carne and Brik, but all three were tasteless and far from traditional recipes. The pasta sauce was too watery and lacking in flavour, while the kafteji did not at all reflect what one expects from a typical Tunisian dish. The only thing we can consider positive are the canned drinks, which at least were fresh and pleasant (Apla). However, the staff, despite being aware that the dishes had not satisfied us, showed an attitude of total indifference, without even trying to understand what had gone wrong. Low prices. In conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant, especially if you are Tunisian and have high expectations in terms of authenticity and flavors.

Cozy and as cozy as home, except that delicious unexpected delicacies are served. The waitress is a sweetheart and served my friend a Secret dessert with a candle on his birthday. The location is highly recommended and we would love to come back

I've randomly looked for a Tunisian restaurant in Berlin and falled on La maison bleue. A warmfull welcoming from the waitress and the Chef Chayma. I've ordered "Kolla with beef meat" and It was very delicious! I'll not miss the opportunity coming back again each time I come to Berlin.

This is the best restaurant for Tunisian and Mediterranean cuisine. If you want to experience the authentic flair of Tunisian cuisine, this is number one in Berlin.

Excellent immersive experience in Tunisian tradition. Nice and clean environment. Super welcome. Taste of the dishes very good. The only flaw was there was no local wine by the glass and I had to take a Montepulciano (not good).

We had a fantastic lunch at this Tunisian restaurant! The food was simply delicious and exceeded our expectations. My husband, who is Egyptian, was particularly impressed by the authentic flavors and variety of dishes. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back! Highly recommended for anyone who loves Tunisian cuisine

Unfortunately, we found the portions all to be too small. Leaving the store hungry is just a shame! Nevertheless, the food was very tasty. Shakshuka with seafood was a bit too salty and the starter plate for two people was really small.

The food was overwhelmingly delicious. Nice atmosphere alongside a beautiful outdoor area. And not to mention the staff was really friendly.

Unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of catastrophic. The dishes were sorely lacking in flavor, and to top it off, the vegetables were expired. It is unacceptable to serve ingredients of this quality. Additionally, I had ordered couscous with fish, but the fish had been cooked separately which totally eliminated any flavor. This in no way makes up for the poor quality of the food. I can only advise against this restaurant until it seriously improves its standards.

The food was so delicious! We got the salad on the house and our main courses and the homemade lemonade were a dream, very well seasoned and you'll be more than full. The interior is super cute and the service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Great recommendation for great food! :)

We found this place a bit by chance, attracted by the very colorful place and the dishes served and the 5 stars are well deserved! A really wide variety of different dishes with excellent prices. The service was also very courteous and the girl was very nice! All dishes were super! We will definitely come back to try other dishes! 💯💯

Sehr leckeres Essen und innen sehr schönes Ambiente. Draußen leider viel Straßenlärm & Gewusel. Man kann reservieren. Sehr netter Service (manchmal muß man geduldig sein ). Das Essen ist autenthisch, optisch sehr ansprechend serviert und vor allem: richtig lecker! ( Nordafrikanisch, genauer Tunesisch) Wir hatten die Meeresfrüchteplatte und die Grillplatte! Die Preise sind recht hoch...aber wenn man darüber hinwegsehen kann, ist es ein tolles Restaurant :-)

Used to be nice but the staff got quite unfriendly and offencive. While we were sitting outside a guy tried to steal our bag. Fortunately we were able to chase the thieve away but he threatened to pull a knife on one of us. We informed the manager about the incidence. He told us that he knows about the situation but he hasn't seen it and he can't do anything. It's needless to say that the management is responsible for the safety of their customers but I even had the impression that they accept attacks on their customers. At least a warning would have been nice! Don't go there if you don't want to get your things stolen and being stabbed while having dinner.

I have never been to Tunisia, but after dining at La Maison Blue I feel like I’ve had a full authentic dining experience. The meat platter was spectacular, I recommend asking for more tzatziki to make it even better. The Tunisian wine, cookies and coffee all were unique and memorable experiences. 10/10

After a long journey from Munich, I found this restaurant and was very impressed. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely visit the restaurant again on my next visit to Berlin.

Just fantastic! All in all a very nice restaurant. The staff is committed and very attentive. The food is authentic and the atmosphere is very cozy. Above all, the light is a feel-good factor. We took the starter plate, the fish plate and the beef, braised Sahara style. It was all delicious 😋 The prices are also humane and fair. Can only recommend it to everyone :)

As a tunisian here: I approve of this restaurant! :) Delicious tunisian food, with a mediterranean twist. The owner and staff are all very kind, smiling, and were open to include all of our preferences in our order. Only thing is, it's a tiny bit on the pricey side, and we would expect a bit more for the price we paid for the plate (meerfrüchte, 48€). My couscous was cold, my friend who took a daurade had a mini piece of fish on her plate. Everything was ok but really nothing special and not very tasty. It was hard to get a hold of a waiter and our plates were left empty at our table until we left (though we stayed~1h after we finished them)… Not so great experience :(

I am Tunisian myself and therefore I am very familiar with Tunisian cuisine. I wanted to give my German friends an authentic impression of Tunisian cuisine. We ordered couscous and shakshuka. Unfortunately the couscous was very mildly seasoned and did not live up to the reviews. The Shakshuka, however, was very authentic.

You feel like you're at home here. The food is great, the atmosphere is great and the service is more than just attentive and extremely friendly. Thanks for the stay, we'll definitely be back!

Today I had the pleasure to discover how welcoming and professional is the staff of "Maison Bleue". In an authentic Tunisian atmosphere, I and a group of friends from different countries had a very tasteful traditional Tunisian food from a variety of salads to couscous، brik ، ojja, keftaji and tajine. Green tea was also there to help us digest our copious meal. The staff was so polite, kind and generous. Very open to any request, Chef Mohamed, Mohamed Ali, Narjess, Chaima and Veranda were kindly ready to help. A final word to the boss Mr. Khaled, I would warmly say "bravo and thank you so much". Definitely I strongly recommend "Maison Bleue" to all those who want to enjoy an authentic traditional food of a country deeply rooted in history, the beautiful Tunisia.

Although the atmosphere was nice inside, the food unfortunately doesn't live up the expectations. We found the food neither to be authentic nor tasty. Also we had to wait for the food to arrive more than an hour when we went on Saturday evening.
