Der Salat war zum Teil braun, ohne Salatsoße und hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Eine sehr nette Kellnerin hat zumindest für etwas Soße aus dem Glas gesorgt. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Das ist Prima, alles Super und der Chef lebt sein Local mit Leib und Seele... Besser geht's nicht

Meine Frau und ich hatten das Glück, hier am 28. Mai 2026 zu Mittag zu essen und genossen ein fantastisches, unpaniertes Schnitzel mit einer köstlichen Sauce sowie die obligatorischen Getränke. Andy (Koch und Inhaber) und die liebenswerte Mathilde, die uns bediente, machten dieses Essen zum unvergesslichsten Erlebnis unserer fünfwöchigen Europareise. Hatte mit italienische Restaurant wenig zu tun. Pizza nicht durch. Katzen auf den Tischen und im Lokal. Musik nervig. Das einzig "italienische" war, daß nur Barzahlung möglich war. Preise waren im Verhältnis dazu überteuert. Die Lage ist halt recht gut.

Sehr lecker und höfliches Personal

Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit und Essen- Alles ehr (maximal) durchschnittlich. Dafür die Preise aber deutlich übertrieben. Schade, aber scheinbar geht das in der Lage.

Wenn Katzen auf den Tischen laufen, im Restaurant und auf der Toilette Unteranderem nach Katzenurin riecht und zu guter letzt das es zwischendurch nach scharfen Reinigungsmittel riecht habe ich für mich beschlossen nicht mehr da hin zu gehen! Die Pizza und auch der Service war ok bis gut, allerdings aber auch nicht mehr. Schade…..

Zusammen mit einer Freundin waren wir gestern Abend dort essen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war lecker und die Tiramisu sogar großartig Alles gut

Also wir waren heute das erste Mal hier, und ich muss sagen war sehr lecker und der Chef ist sehr Freundlich und sehr nett. Der Chef des Hauses hat seine Katzen mit im Gastraum was für mich sehr neu war, aber eine sehr Positive Erfahrung und sehr schön war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wollten trotz schlechter Bewertungen selbst urteilen. Bestellte eine Pizza Frutti di Mare diese kam auch schnell, allerdings musste ich feststellen dass sie mit Zwiebeln war die ich absolut nicht vertrage. Ich habe noch nie beim Italiener eine Frutti di Mare mit Zwiebeln bekommen. Auf meine Reklamation hin wurde mir vom Besitzer und Koch gesagt er würde die Pizza seit 20 Jahren mit Zwiebeln machen. Also 20 Jahre falsch gemacht. Daraufhin wurde mir eine neue ohne Zwiebeln gebracht. Der Geschmack war jedoch sehr fade die Zutaten von der billigsten Sorte und dafür der Preis mit 18 € absolut überteuert. Das Restaurant scheint im übrigen nur etwas für Katzenliebhaber zu sein, da die Katzen des Besitzers auf den Stühlen im Restaurant herumlagen und eine dann auch noch auf dem Tisch herumlief. Nie wieder!

Dieses lokal ist sehr emphfelenswert. Wir sind total zufrieden. Essen ist total lecker. Wunderschöne atmosphere

Super Service, leckeres Essen… sind nun schon das 3. Mal dieses Jahr hier! Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Tintenfischtuben gegrillt 😍 wir kommen sehr gerne wieder & können es jedem bei einem Ausflug in Veitshöchheim empfehlen

Ich verstehe die vielen negativen Bewertungen nicht. Wir waren schon des öfteren zum Essen hier, zuletzt gestern und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Das Essen, insbesondere der Salat, knackig frisch und sehr gut gewürzt. Wir können das "La Gondola" uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Hatten reserviert und wurden nach mehrfachem Anrufen, da wir vor verschlossener Tür standen, unfreundlich abgewiesen. Letzlich wurde einfach trotz Reservierung früher abgeschlossen, da es keine Pizza und Meeresfrüchte mehr gab. Service 0/5 eigentlich, wirklich sehr unfreundlicher Ton bei dem Ganzen...

We went here for dinner with friends for the first time on Saturday evening. The peppers and other vegetables were all fresh and crisp. Simply fantastic all around. The friendly service was always in a good mood, despite the full house. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening!

I can't give a review; unfortunately, I had to leave because they only accept cash payments. I don't think that's appropriate these days.

The owner does everything himself but he provided an outstanding Service. Food tasted amazing and the prices are reasonable.

The food was okay, but the service was very disorganized. Our reservation was quickly pushed together into two tables, and other guests were moved around. I found that annoying; why bother making reservations? We were asked several times whether this or that food or drink was for us, even though it was for other tables. The beer we ordered was forgotten. There are several cat food stations upstairs in the restaurant.

We were there today for the gourmet block. We ordered four pizzas. Unfortunately, they were all extremely salty and seasoned with far too much dry oregano. The kids refused to eat them completely. The crust was also barely edible. Dry on the outside, sticky and mushy on the inside. Unfortunately, no one asked if we enjoyed the food; then we would have told them in person. We will definitely not be coming back. On top of that, the pizzas were very expensive. Unfortunately, they were completely inadequate for this quality. Any ready-made crust from a discount store tastes better.

We were there to see the Rococo garden and stopped by the restaurant. Excellent service. Great food. And the view of the Main River was priceless.

First of all, what happened to us there yesterday was extremely disgusting. We sat down in the beer garden without registering and were able to order relatively quickly. The oil on the bruschetta tasted a bit rancid. The vegetarian pizza was well-filled, but I ordered hot peppers and garlic. Instead of hot peppers, I got mild peppers, and the garlic was completely forgotten. Unfortunately, the food didn't agree with me, and I had stomach problems all evening and the following day. My friend, her children, and her mother also had severe stomach problems after the meal. My friend got it the worst. The pasta was certainly not homemade, and so was the sauce. The sauce was too spicy and didn't really taste good. Overall, the food was beyond mediocre. My friend cooks much better. The drinks weren't cold, more like room temperature. There were no ice cubes either. After dinner, we ordered a grappa. I had an ant at the bottom of the glass, my friend's mother had two moths and a moth larva at the bottom. After complaining, we got two new grappas, but in the same glass. Pretty disgusting and quite antisocial. In the end, they tried to rip us off by adding another pizza to the bill. That, too, was objected to. When we mentioned the vermin in the grappa glass again, the seemingly somewhat confused waitress tried to play it off and said it was the extra portion of meat. That's not trashy enough; for me, as a vegetarian, this was an absolute disgrace. I don't even want to imagine what else was in the food. It makes me sick again. I'm also going to file a complaint with the health department. I can't recommend this back-alley dive bar to anyone.

A very good restaurant. I have been to your restaurant several times, and today was the first time with my daughter. My daughter's special requests were dealt with very kindly. The service was very friendly, extremely attentive and nice, and she apologized every now and then because she was very busy due to the rush of guests. That was unnecessary and entirely understandable! We had two different pasta dishes, both of which were very tasty and the portions were simply too big for our stomachs 😊 The drinks were also very good, as expected, and the spritzer for the child was well mixed so that it wasn't too sweet. Even the manager helped out at times. That shows team spirit and solidarity and left a very positive impression on me in particular. Best wishes to Sinni and the wonderfully friendly service! Having such a gem on the team is priceless! My daughter has already asked when we can go to you again. One thing is for sure, we will be back!

Top location – the pizza dough took some getting used to and was very floury and dry, the toppings were barely seasoned – the staircase and the entrance to the dining room seemed uninviting – a return visit? It's possible, but not necessary...

Hello, we had dinner at the La Gondola restaurant today. The atmosphere and food were abysmal. It felt like a train station concourse. The food had absolutely nothing to do with Italian cuisine. The pasta was inedible. The staff were also very strange. A cat was jumping around on the table and chairs in the restaurant, and there was also a dog running loose. It gave a very unhygienic feeling.

We don't understand the bad reviews. We arrived just before the kitchen closed. We had tagliatelle with chanterelle cream. The portion was very large, extremely tasty, and good value for money. Plus, the seating is very quiet, with a view of the Main River. We highly recommend La Gondola and would gladly return!

This place has nothing to do with pizza. The staff, dressed in sweatpants and dirty sneakers, serve you, and the cheap tables and umbrellas ruin the entire atmosphere. You can get a better pizza for significantly less money at any kebab shop. Absolutely not recommended if you don't want to be disappointed. Never again.

We wanted to order drinks and food right away, but since my wife needed something else, the waiter left, saying, "I have to go first." We ordered lasagna and a combination dish – completely tasteless – totally unseasoned – the lasagna was more sauce than Bolognese/pasta. Once, and never again...

A restaurant in a prime location overlooking the Main River, cat included, prices comparable to those of fine Italian cuisine, but the decor and service still have a lot of room for improvement. The tables were very worn. The salad was full of brown leaves that would have been destined for the compost heap at home! The dressing was a vinegary mess. The pizza bread was bone dry, hard, and tasted like a disaster. Spaghetti alio olio, overcooked and completely lacking in flavor. Two tables away were already complaining. It seemed to us that the chef had no sympathy for this.

If you're not sitting in the cigarette smoke of other guests, then you're in the smoke of the waiter. The pizza was still doughy in the middle and burnt black on the bottom. The pasta with chanterelles had hardly any mushrooms, and the cream sauce was so runny that it barely stuck to the pasta.

Very nice ambiance, excellent food, and the prompt and friendly service was particularly noteworthy. Three of us came for dinner. A wonderful, relaxing evening. Thank you!

I had chanterelle mushrooms in a nest of noodles, which I thought was okay. The Wiener schnitzel with fries was very oversalted. The schnitzel was very tasty. Of course, we mentioned it after the meal, and the lady said she'd pass it on. No one came to ask if everything was okay. We would have had more drinks, but unfortunately, no one else came.

Definitely not. The pizza could have been a store-bought one. The taste and consistency of the dough were very poor. The toppings were so-so. It was quite expensive, though. The salad was sour. I won't be having it again.

We were looking forward to a delicious Italian tuna salad. We received a salad that consisted mainly of wilted lettuce, some with brown spots and signs of decomposition. There was no dressing. We had to hunt for the tuna. A trip to the restroom reinforced this impression. The floors near the counter and in the dining room were very dirty. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

There were four of us, and we had two salmon with pasta and chanterelle mushrooms, and two Wiener schnitzels with fries, chanterelle mushrooms, and salad. Each portion was about €25. Three of us developed severe stomach upsets after about an hour. The chef was very rude, the atmosphere outside was nice, but the inside was okay. The price/performance ratio was out of proportion.

A huge sign read: Rooftop Terrace Open. On the way there, the server snapped at us that the top floor was closed. Well, normally we would have gone somewhere else right away, but we were hungry. In general, she was very focused on "speed service." The guests had barely sat down when she was already there, ready to take their orders. The food arrived super quickly (speed service?). We each had a pasta dish. Less than 30 minutes later, we were both sitting in the bathroom with diarrhea and stomach pains. Thanks for nothing. P.S. No card payments!

Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen dieses Restaurant !! Der Teig - Fertigteig (?) - der Belag - unterstes Niveau !! Die Sauberkeit mangelhaft, das Katzenfutter im Restaurant - sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Bedienung unfreundlich ! Ich werde in Zukunft die Restaurantbewertungen im Vorfeld des Besuchs lesen. Es ist ja einigen Besuchern schon so ergangen wie uns.

It was never a gourmet temple, but today it was a disaster. Both pasta and pizza were unseasoned. We ordered salt, pepper, oregano, chili and garlic to add some flavor. This would be extremely embarrassing for any real restaurateur, but here the only rule was to let the chef know. No apologies, no discount. The map is new, as are the pink umbrellas and the facade. As a result, the prices have risen enormously and in no way match the non-existent quality. The only good thing is the brilliant location for the boat tourists who will probably never come again. As locals, we came often, but now it's over.

Wir kennen die Pizzeria, sie war noch nie Gourmettempel, aber heute war es eine Katastrophe. Pizza und Nudeln wurden wohl nicht gewürzt, selbst mit zusätzliche bestelltem Pfeffer, Salz, Oregano, Knoblauch und Chili kam kaum Geschmack ran. Den Chef haben wir drauf angesprochen, er meinte nur, er sagt dem Koch Bescheid. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Preisnachlass. Die pinken Sonnenschirme sind neu, ebenso die Karte und die Fassade wurde neu gestrichen. Daraufhin wurden die Preise kräftig erhöht, stehen aber in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität der Gerichte. Das einzig gute ist die Lage. Für uns der letzte Besuch.

We had dinner with the Schlemmerblock. My wife baked foil into her lasagna. The cook said it is food foil which is not harmful to health. My wife's glass wasn't clean. The bill was also wrong, there were drinks from the neighboring table on it. We're definitely not coming back.

Pizza ist zum k.. Teig viel zu dick und viel zu viel Käse. Sieht aus wie eine Fertigpizza. Service ganz gut. Dreckig. Katzen laufen über den Tisch. Preise viel zu hoch.

The quality here was never outstanding, but it was getting worse and worse. Pizza soggy, dough too thick or not cooked through. Wine tasted stale. Price performance is absolutely not justified with this quality. Outdoor seating unpleasant because the building is scaffolded. Access to the restaurant via a construction site (scaffolding), that was our last time...

We ate at your place and unfortunately it was inedible but not fresh. The salmon was definitely not fresh. The pasta wasn't really fresh and the sauce was just pure mush. Unfortunately it fell through and we'll never come back.

Wirklich schlechtes Essen. Zum Belag der Pizza gehörten Haare. Die Pizza war steinhart und furztrocken. Der Belag war - neben den Haaren - nicht gut. Alle Zutaten waren recht geschmacklos. An einer Stelle war ein mehliger, dicker, harter Teigklumpen auf der Pizza. Man hält auch offenbar nicht so viel von der Reinigung der Tischoberflächen und des Fußbodens. Hier gehe ich sicher nie wieder essen!

Really bad food. The pizza topping included hair. The pizza was rock hard and dry. The surface - apart from the hair - was not good. All the ingredients were quite tasteless. At one point there was a floury, thick, hard lump of dough on the pizza. The facility is ready for bulky waste. Apparently people don't think much about cleaning table surfaces and floors. I'll definitely never eat here again!

The waiter/cook (the same person) was very friendly, but unfortunately the pizza was terrible. Pizza Frutti the Mare for a really great price. The topping consisted of indefinable batz, a few mussels and surimi. I've never had surimi on a pizza and never want to again. Unfortunately I have to say, I won't be coming back. Oh yes, more cats than guests in the restaurant!

We were there with two children (7 & 2 years old) after a long journey. Accordingly, we were happy to get something to eat, as kitchens in the area apparently close early. Service was ok so far, the food came quite quickly. I had a simple dish: pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella, topped with parmesan. What came was - unfortunately I have to call it that - disgusting. My noodles gave the impression that they had been served at least for the second time after they must have been sitting for a long time. Tomato, mozzarella and tagliatelle had already become a soft unit and were already on the home stretch of the fermentation process. The grated cheese (the menu said "Parmesan", it definitely wasn't) smelled musty, was fortunately sparingly dosed and sprinkled so carelessly that I could easily avoid it. Due to time constraints (tired kids) I didn't complain and was happy to get some of my children's schnitzel to compensate for their hunger. My wife also only made half of her pasta with a few chopped porcini mushrooms. To be fair, I would say that the service was quite nice and the store itself was decent. In my opinion, it doesn't help that catastrophes like the ones presented to me even leave the kitchen. It can't work like that.

Unfortunately, I only read the reviews afterwards. The food doesn't deserve a star, nor does the service. I also had hair in my food. 🤢🤮 Probably from cats. These are running around in the restaurant and also in the kitchen. The one star isn't deserved, but if I don't give it one, I won't be able to post this hairy matter. Should be reported to the health department!!

Wir haben 2 Nächte in dem sehr hübschen Hotel am Main gewohnt und sind am ersten Abend nach Würzburg reingefahren zum Essen, weil uns die Bewertungen von diesem Lokal einfach abgeschreckt haben und die anderen in Frage kommenden Restaurants geschlossen hatten. Am zweiten Abend waren wir dann einfach zu müde um in die Stadt zu fahren und haben es "riskiert". Und ich habe keine Ahnung wie diese schlechten Bewertungen zustande gekommen sind. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Ich habe Nudeln mit Steinpilzen gegessen, die waren sehr lecker, reichlich und für meine Begriffe einfach zu preiswert. Und habe einen sehr guten Primitivo bekommen, obwohl er nicht auf der Karte stand. Mein Mann hatte eine Pizza, die auch sehr gut war und preislich durchaus angemessen. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist die recht coole und nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäße Einrichtung. Würden wir nicht 200 km entfernt wohnen, würden wir mit Sicherheit wieder kommen.

We stopped here after visiting Veitshöchheim Castle. The ambience is mediocre. The service was really inadequate, orders were sometimes not understood and the wrong food was served. The pizza was completely remade without any fuss. Unfortunately there was a foreign body in the wine spritzer, which is why it went behind the counter first. The pizza was good. Another drawback is that there is no card payment. By 2024 this should simply be state of the art and standard. I would be happy to come back here again if everything around it really fits.

We ordered minestrone soup and it was excessively salty, and the squid salad was impossible to chew, overcooked and super hard.

I had rigatoni al forno for almost €14. Really not very tasty for the price. The minced meat could have been cooked longer, almost no sauce and tasteless. I can do that better at home. 🙈 There were three of us. My meal was very quick because the pizzas came much later so I was almost finished eating and my companion couldn't get started until then. There are better Italians in Vhh.

Everything is right here. Enjoy delicious food on the terrace in the evening and everyone in service is really friendly and nice.

Sehr nette Bedienung, sauber u klasse Lage . Essen kam schnell an war auch ok. Aber leider zu zu teuer. Für eine 32cm Pizza 18,50€ für eine portion Spaghetti oder Nudeln 15-20€.

Pizza didn't taste good, pasta was far too little and prices were very expensive! Here you pay more for the location (directly on the Main promenade) than for taste and good food. The cutlery is also old. The coating on our knives peels off and the forks bend under the slightest pressure. Boss is arrogant and not nice at all! We won't be coming anymore, unfortunately enough tourists will still get lost. Only the waitress was nice.

Worst service we have ever experienced! After the napkin and cutlery were forgotten several times, my mother, who is over 72 years old, was insulted by the owner (he put his two fists on my parents' table where they were sitting and leaned towards them provocatively) why she was down on the waitresses has made. She also gave a tip and just pointed out to the waiters that that wasn't possible in the catering industry!! Our family comes from the catering industry and the guest is always king, even if you order a napkin 1000 times! Absolutely no go this way of dealing with guests. I hope the store closes soon! We'll never go there to eat again! You can tell that the waiters are not experts!

Worst ready-made pizza I've ever eaten. Absolutely not recommended! An Italian restaurant should at least prepare the pizza itself and freshly and not use ready-made products. Even a frozen pizza from Wagner tastes even better.

It was our first time eating here and we were very disappointed We had 4 pizzas, all of which were rock hard and some of them were burnt at the bottom. There were a few dry pieces of chicken breast on my chicken breast pizza. .quartered tomatoes and cheese for €15 It was also very dirty in the restaurant (floor, windowsill) There was cat food not far from the counter, so it can be assumed that the cat was running around in the restaurant.

A complete disaster The only good thing was the location. It's a shame about that. Out of 10 dishes, 9 dishes could not be finished due to hair in the food and raw pizza dough. 1 dish was completely mixed up and one was forgotten. Special requests were simply ignored. A cat in a restaurant is not acceptable. Unfriendly service from some of the staff. Some tables were not allowed to order food and other tables were still able to order food. Very simple dishes that only stand out for their price. Pizza Capricciosa with simple ingredients, 28 cm, pizza seafood with a few crabs and mussels and sumi (fish substitute) instead of squid, 32 cm for a whopping €18. No thanks!

We are a group of twelve people who regularly eat out together. We were served by a very friendly waitress without waiting. The boss also repeatedly asked if we were satisfied. Drinks came quickly and the food was good. Whether asparagus, fish, pasta or pizza everything was great. Unfortunately a starter was forgotten, but it wasn't bad. Ultimately we were very satisfied and had a lovely evening.

We stopped here for coffee. I can recommend apple strudel tiramisu and cappuccino.

La Gondola is a beautifully located Italian restaurant. Since the hotel I booked didn't have room for me to eat, I went to the Main, saw the restaurant and immediately sat down in the nice garden. My order (pizza pepperoni and a glass of Valpolicella) was on the table in no time and everything was perfect. Great pizza dough, plenty of toppings and delicious wine. The service is absolutely friendly and accommodating. 1A recommendation for a trip to the Main!

Attention: Only cash is accepted here! Very simple menu with little choice. A lot of it isn't even served, even though it's listed. Tastes very artificial. Service takes a relatively long time because there are few staff.

Wir hatten für einen 30. Geburtstag reserviert. Erst hies es sie nehmen keine reservierungen an..machten aber dann doch eine ausnahme aufgrund von geburtstag. Als wir dann am geburtstag dort eintrafen hies es direkt wir müssen um 15 uhr wieder gehen. Wir hatten auf 14 uhr reserviert!!! Für einen 30. GEBURTSTAG mit 8 Erwachsenen und 3 kindern. Auf nachfrage wieso den bei der reservierung nichts gesagt wurde, hies es nur von geburtstag hört er gerade das erste mal.. dabei hatte er ja die ausnahme aufgrund von geburtstag gemacht! Die bedienung oder vielleicht war es sogar der chef ? War sowas von unfreundlich. Auf nachfrage wegen dem schlemmerblock kam auch nur eine pampige antwort von wegen wir sollen in den AGB's nachlesen. Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Wir habne uns noch vor der Getränkebestellung entschieden zu gehen.

Service was very friendly and quick, we were served very well, our order didn't take long, everything was very quick, pizza was good, tomato sauce lacked a bit of flavor, otherwise fresh ingredients everything was good

Staff is prompt and courteous, atmosphere is great, Unfortunately it was the saltiest pasta I have ever eaten. Even after complaining, it was still overly salty. The chef is apparently very, very much in love 😅

With the Schlemmerblock absolutely top in terms of price, the food is really good no matter whether it's pizza or meat dishes, don't always listen to bad reviews!!! Form your own opinion! Great view of the Main!
