Good food, great service. Prettier inside than outside 😀

The food was delicious, the ambiance was very nice, and the service was excellent. We would come back if we're in the area.

We were there on a Sunday. The restaurant was full, but not all the tables were occupied. Unfortunately, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food (pizza and pasta). That was a really long wait, unfortunately!

Not recommended! Waited 26 minutes for our drinks/food order. We had to ask them to clean the table first. Service was completely overwhelmed. They also forgot about our reservation. Ordered a marinara pizza, and it had a few anchovies on it and almost nothing else.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with outdoor seating. Unfortunately, service took too long, and the Bolognese sauce was empty, which is almost impossible in my opinion. The pizzas were good, with penne arabiata not too spicy but unfortunately very small portions. The tomato sauce on the pinsa and pizza was unfortunately bland and had no flavor. I ordered the salad with dressing, but unfortunately didn't get it. The friendliness of the ladies in the service department deserves special mention.

Despite, or perhaps because of, the good reviews so far, we were honestly disappointed. We've been there twice within a quarter of a year and were disappointed twice. In both cases, the start was as it should be: great ambiance and friendly service, but after that, it quickly declined. Some might call it bad luck, because on one occasion the chef was ill, and on the other, a wedding was taking place in the adjacent spa, which was catered/catered for by La Fortuna. In both cases, the menu was very limited, but this wasn't communicated in a timely manner. Neither during the phone reservation, which was made the same day, nor when we arrived. No sign, no information, nothing. Due to the limited menu, we opted for bruschetta, pinsa, and large salads. The pinsa was good, as was the bruschetta. For the salads, we opted for the house dressing. We definitely can't recommend this, as it was very watery and settled at the bottom of the plate. This meant that by the time the salad was in your mouth, it wasn't dressed, and you were eating raw. Unfortunately, remixing the salad didn't help due to its watery consistency. Dancing at two weddings at once isn't easy and rarely works out well, as we discovered. Especially since the music at the wedding was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation in the restaurant. Therefore, our recommendation: find out if there's a party going on at the same time.

A year ago, I gave it five stars. Unfortunately, I have to change that. We never even got to the food. The service was practically nonexistent. The pasta was out of stock only mentioned when we ordered, and the soap in the restroom was also empty.

We won't be coming here again. The chicken and rump steak were okay, but nothing more. I wanted vegetables instead of fries and salad, and was charged €3.50 extra. So if you order two sides and only add one, it costs more – it's illogical, and I've never experienced anything like that before. The place was empty, and we waited 40 minutes for the food. At least the service was friendly.

We visited the La Fortuna restaurant and were absolutely thrilled! 🍕 The pizza was simply outstanding: thin crust, generous toppings, and a truly Italian flavor. The pasta was incredible, fresh, and flavorful, just like in Italy. A special thank you to the service – very attentive and friendly, you immediately feel at home. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We had pinsa, which was delicious and more suited to those with a moderate appetite. Unfortunately, there weren't many waiters, so we had to wait a bit. Nevertheless, I can still recommend this restaurant.

We had four takeaway pizzas, which were solid. The wait was about 20 minutes, which was perfectly acceptable for a typical meal. The people were nice.

An absolute insider tip for all lovers of Italian cuisine! 🍕🍝 This was our first time here – and definitely not our last. The selection of freshly prepared pizzas and pineapples is fantastic. The dough was crispy on the outside and wonderfully light on the inside – just as it should be. The pasta was also cooked to perfection, with a homemade sauce that simply delighted. The final highlight: the tiramisu. Light, creamy, and not too sweet – perfectly balanced. The panna cotta was also a dream, melting gently with a fruity sauce as a topping. 😍 The staff is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and authentic – you almost feel like you're in Italy. The outdoor area is also very well-kept and aesthetically pleasing, and the fountain is a feast for the eyes. A clear recommendation for a relaxing afternoon or evening with delicious food. Buon appetito! 🇮🇹

Unfortunately, high expectations were not met. Despite the good pizza, we noticed the following negative aspects: - Despite only average attendance, there were very long wait times, both for food and for payment. Other restaurants with three servers have a different customer base. - Anyone who charges €8.50 for an insalata mista and then serves an almost tasteless, heavily watered-down yogurt dressing, then brings a piping-hot balsamic vinegar when we complain, and then can't properly handle appropriate criticism, won't be seeing us there again. The offer to cancel one of the two salads on the bill was thoughtful, but it didn't make up for it. - Too many little things: The menu was a loose-leaf collection. Nothing was filed; at the first gust of wind, there were paper airplanes. One napkin was missing. The neighboring table also complained about this. Countless crumpled beer mats from previous guests were lying on the floor right next to our table. We were in the restaurant for two hours, and each of the three servers walked past it several times without picking up the trash. Forty-five minutes after the plates were cleared, no one asked if we wanted anything else to drink – despite empty glasses on the table. Conclusion: A restaurant with potential. Instead of standing up to her staff, the manager should take a critical look at customer feedback. And no, we're not picky customers; we're actually easygoing and enjoy eating out at our local restaurants. What we expect from a restaurant at this price point are the absolute basics.

Very unfriendly and hectic staff, order brought to the table wrong, rude answer, so simply unprofessional

Two of us came here for lunch today. They serve not only pizza, but also pinsa, which was delicious, as was the tagliatelle al salmone. Friendly service, and the food arrived fairly quickly. A small deduction for the hot drinks we ordered, which were only warm. We'd be happy to come back.

There are only minor things missing: indications of the beef's quantity or a warning that the salad was drenched in un-Italian yogurt dressing. But the service was attentive and quick. And of course, card payments are accepted, which is great!

We were here for dinner. Both the pizza and the pizza were delicious. The seating is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great... It took forever to get a menu, then another long time to order drinks and food, and then the food came before the drinks. That was a bit of an unfortunate turnout... The "Fortuna" pizza is fantastic!

Super environment and very friendly and helpful staff. It is located in a very quiet corner and offers plenty of space with enough space between the tables. The dishes are well prepared and the prices are affordable.

Aufgrund der Top Google Bewertungen bestellte ich Januar 2025 eine Diavolo Pizza zum abholen.Das klappte auch alles und das Personal war freundlich.Der Preis mit 13 € als Abholpizza recht hoch.Die Pizza war sehr dünn belegt und hatte als maximalen Belag zwei Salamischeiben...das wars.Geschmacklich nichts besonderes und zum satt werden zu wenig.Meine Rezession bei Google schrieb ich genauso neutral und ehrlich wie hier.Diese Woche wurde diese gelöscht wegen Diskriminierung??? Es waren keinerlei Aussagen von mir darin enthalten die dieses rechtfertigen. Nun ist mir auch klar woher die Top Bewertungen bei Google kommen.....

A really nice restaurant We were there late in the evening. Even when the end of the day was approaching and we were alone, there was no form of stress or pressure that we should finally leave. The food tasted great and the prices for everything together are very fair. I can only recommend it!

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted a meal at an Italian restaurant. So I was there for dinner with my wife and her sister. The atmosphere doesn't seem inviting. There's always this kind of recorder tinkling over the speakers. We had reserved for 6:00 p.m. It took 10 minutes until we were assigned to our table and another 20 minutes until we received the menus and could order our drinks. After another 15 minutes the waitress came to take our order. Just as we were about to place our order, the waitress said, "Wait a minute, I'll be right back," which then took another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes he brought us a bottle of Teinacher, even though we had ordered Pelegrino. It was said that Pelegrino was out. The bottle was simply placed on the table. It was neither opened by the waitress nor poured. The ravioli with truffles in cream sauce was just heated cream with no taste and the filling of the ravioli was something indefinable that tasted like nothing. Neither salt, pepper, truffles... just NOTHING. The seafood on my spaghetti was from a jar. The tomato sauce, which was simply heated strained tomatoes, tasted terribly sour because, in my opinion, they simply added the vinegared seafood along with the broth. My sister-in-law only ate a quarter of the pizza because she didn't like it. In short... paid almost €100 for inedible food and a really terrible ambience. Never ever!!!!

Four of us went there for dinner on Sunday, February 9th, 2025. Reservations are necessary, there was a lot going on. What we liked was that the menu wasn't overcrowded. The food was okay, the pizzas were large, the dough was thin, although some of the toppings were a bit dark. Picata Milanese was ok, but not a burner. Service was ok, friendly but not very attentive. The oil and balsamic vinegar at the table were empty to the last drop. Considering it had only just been opened when we visited, it was already very crumbly under the table. There are 2 stars for the ambience, i.e. the restaurant is not that eye-catching, very bland, no tablecloths etc. Some sports halls from the 70s exuded more atmosphere and coziness. We paid almost 90 euros. Our visit was ok, but we don't have to go again.

The restaurant is simply furnished, but unfortunately the dining room was a bit fresh. The food was really tasty...my "special request" was taken care of perfectly and the service was also very friendly. I'll go there again when it gets warmer ;-)

Went to this restaurant for the first time as a couple on the day of the Christmas market. Ambiance was good, the food at the other tables also looked quite appealing. Order taking also went quite well. Drinks were then served quickly. But when, after almost 90 minutes, the food still wasn't there despite asking twice, we left the restaurant without having accomplished anything. Therefore I cannot rate food. What's also strange is that take-out orders were processed faster than in-restaurant orders! I would like to give the landlord credit for at least not charging us for the drinks. As it turned out, the food hadn't even been ordered in the kitchen yet! Unfortunately the chance to come back was missed!

Even though only a few tables were occupied, we waited almost an hour for our pizzas. The obviously new and inexperienced waitress was hopelessly overwhelmed, while the boss preferred to sit at the table with the guests instead of supporting them. At the end we had to wait an eternity until he brought us the bill. By the way, the pizza was rather tasteless.

I really loved the la fortuna restaurant that I visited. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes and I chose the homemade pasta with a delicious tomato sauce. The flavors were fresh and authentic, making the meal a real treat. The service was also excellent. The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They gave good recommendations and made us feel completely comfortable. For dessert we tried the tiramisu, which was to die for – creamy and perfectly sweet. Overall, I can only recommend this restaurant. It is the ideal place to enjoy Italian cuisine in a cozy environment. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This was our first time ordering and picking up pizza from La Fortuna. My Quattro Stagioni was really inedible. This has never happened to me before. Both the cooked ham and the salami tasted so intensely disgusting (spoiled?) that I immediately felt like gagging and instinctively spit out what I had bitten off. I then took the salami and ham off the pizza to just eat the pure dough. Unfortunately, it also tasted like this disgusting meat taste, so I had to throw away all the parts that had the salami and ham on them. So there was only a small piece of pizza left. Since I had to intensively wash my cutting knife twice to get the smell off the knife and my hands, I assume that the sausage was spoiled. At least it was of very poor quality. My partner had a tuna pizza, which was ok for him, but also tasted a bit too sour.

Ambiance is ok, looks clean too, staff is attentive and friendly. Ordered pizza to take away, which was delivered on time. The taste of the pizza was okay, however Very rudimentary toppings. With a pizza for €13, I expect that it will fill you up.

We met the owner of the restaurant at a wedding that took place at the Kurhaus Schömberg. The service was really unreasonable at a late hour. The gentlemen behind the bar didn't even know what a white and sour spritzer was. The food was good, but not enough. When I asked whether there would be more supplies, all I got was an unfriendly/impudent answer. The owner is lucky that you are unfortunately obliged to let him take care of the catering. Otherwise this restaurant would definitely no longer exist for a long time.

I have eaten or ordered pizza and pinsa at La Fortuna several times. Always tasty, good quality and decent quantities. The service and kitchen also respond to special requests in a friendly and competent manner. Gladly again!

Pizza had unimaginative toppings (nothing on it apart from a few slices of salami). It was lukewarm, dry and the soil was tough. Wine was poured very sparingly and expensive. Long wait until the order was on the table.

We ate very tasty pizza. They have various drinks such as beer, wine and soft drinks. You can also eat outside on a terrace. Unfortunately, like everywhere, there is a lot of smoking there, which is not so nice. But the pizzas are very tasty.

Our visit to La Fortuna in Schömberg was unfortunately disappointing. The restaurant was filled to capacity, and two larger parties were taking place in the next room. The team seemed visibly overwhelmed and understaffed, which unfortunately also affected the service and the quality of the food. Although the dishes looked appealing, they were not convincing in terms of taste. The meat was beyond cooked on the outside and unfortunately cold and partly raw/tough on the inside, and the spaghetti carbonara was nothing special and rather lukewarm. Only the starter plate and the Mare&Monti salad were good. What was particularly annoying was that, after several requests, the waitress didn't come when we wanted to pay and we had a follow-up appointment. Overall, we were unfortunately quite disappointed and expected more. Too bad!

I was particularly impressed by the pizza - the base was pleasantly crispy and the toppings were perfectly balanced. The service is also friendly and attentive. Overall, a very good restaurant that we would happily recommend.

This restaurant is a slap in the face to Italian hospitality. We simply weren't served. Then they left. Shame on you!

Wir kamen um 19:35 an, die Bedienung hat uns direkt freundlich begrüßt. Es waren 5 andere Tische von ca. 20 besetzt. In den nächsten 12 Minuten kam sie 2x raus, hat jeweils 1 Getränk an einen Tisch gebracht und ist ohne links oder rechts zu schauen wieder hinein. Nach weiteren 3 Minuten kam sie wieder und räumte 3 Teller vom Nachbartisch ab. Im Vorbeigehen versprach sie, auch zu uns gleich zu kommen. Nach 2 Minuten sind wir dann gegangen. Also, entweder zu doof, oder zu faul, oder der gesamte Laden ist unprofessionell geführt. Aber so wird das nix mit Umsatz. Nicht auszudenken, wenn mal mehr als 15 Gäste da sind.

Although only 5 tables were occupied, the waitress (who greeted us warmly upon arrival) only showed up three times in 13 minutes and brought a drink to each table. On the way back she could have easily taken our order or taken dishes from the next table. After 15 minutes we left. So either it's completely unprofessional, or it's lazy, or the store doesn't need it.

Unfortunately the boss ruined the whole service. Absolutely unprofessional, the employees were shouted at in front of the guests. There are also arguments in the kitchen. The boss complained that there were 40 of us instead of 50 guests and then the service still didn't work even though, according to the boss, more staff had been requested. We were glad that we weren't 50. Some of them didn't even have drinks yet and others had already finished eating. If it's over 35 degrees, at least the drinks should be there. We previously asked if we could come an hour earlier and it was a resounding yes. Then an unfriendly employee who had probably never heard of friendliness said we were too early. Little tip: Communication within the team is the solution. I won't visit this restaurant again.

Very tasty, nice service and nice ambience

In our opinion, this “Italian” delivers average food. A salad to take away for around 15 euros - and then not a piece of bread with it. Then back as we thought it was a mistake. Then paid extra for a couple of panini. We ordered the pasta spicy. She wasn't. . . (not even close). Bruschetta on a self-dissolving baguette - it really doesn't deserve the name Italian! The location is wonderful. The service was friendly. We definitely won't come back.

Sea bream with a side dish, tasted good, there was a quartered potato as a side dish! When I asked if there was one or two more potatoes, they said no, that's the portion that the other guests also got. Oh well.....

Der Inhalt des Gerichtes war nicht dem Menü entsprechend! Als ich es angesprochen habe, sagte mir der Chef dieses Lockals, ich soll ihm das Essen(mild ausgedrückt) aus mir rausholen… Service unterste Schublade!!!!!!!!!!!! Wir waren zu dritt am 6.03.24 zwischen 18:30 und 21:30 Uhr dort essen. Wir alle haben das gleiche Gericht bestellt „Spaghetti mit Zucchini Pesto und Blacktiger Garnelen“. Uns wurde nicht das serviert, was wir bestellt und für was wir bezahlt haben. Beim Essen mussten wir feststellen, dass Spaghetti mit eingedickter nach Pilzen schmeckenden Soße präpariert wurde, dazu jeweils 3 Garnelen und einige Kirschtomaten, das war’s. Wir haben den Kellner(er hat sich auch als Chef ausgegeben) gleich beim Essen darauf angesprochen, ihm direkt unsere Zweifel an der Sosse(kein Pesto!) mitgeteilt. Zunächst meinte er: “Wenn es euch nicht geschmeckt hätte, dann hätte ich die Beschwerde angenommen…“, hat aber uns zugesichert, dass es Zucchini Pesto war. Das Zeug hatte 0,000000% Zucchini Geschmack! Er hat uns versprochen, es gleich in der Küche abzuklären. In der Zwischenzeit haben wir auch erfahren, dass es nicht das erste Mal so ist… Er kam dann zurück und hat uns mitgeteilt, dass der Koch angeblich statt Zucchini Ruccola reingemacht hat. Wir haben uns gleichzeitig angeguckt…die Ausrede haben wir ihm nicht abgekauft. Ich hatte zudem erhebliche Zweifel, dass die uns servierten Garnelen auch tatsächlich Black Tiger Garnelen waren. Wir haben Bilder von der Speise gemacht… Auf Dessert und weitere mögliche böse Überraschungen hatten wir danach gar keine Lust mehr und haben es abgelehnt. Als wir La Fortuna dann verlassen haben, habe ich mich telefonisch nochmal gemeldet, worauf ich übelst angeschrien wurde und er hat mir geschrien:“Ich kann jede Sch… servieren…“, „ warum hast du es gegessen..“, „Sch… die Garnellen, Ruccola und Spaghetti raus und bringe mir zurück“ und hat mir gedroht etc. Drinnen war es auch kalt, wir mussten uns die Jacken anziehen. Also, Leute, viel Spaß bei LA FORTUNA! P.S.: Da er meine Bewertung löschen will und es auf Google geschafft hat, möchte ich hier festhalten und andere aufmerksam machen, dass ich alle Angaben wahrheitsgemäß dargelegt habe. Er hat mich am 6.06.24 zurückgerufen und hat versucht mich einzuschüchtern und zwar äußerst aggressiv!

Very chic decor and very polite staff. Delicious selection of dishes on the menu. I decided on a Pinsa Frutti die Mare, you have to try something new sometimes. Overall, the food was of very high quality and beautifully presented. The portion was also big enough that I unfortunately had to forego dessert, only an espresso was enough. The prices are reasonable and not too expensive.

Very good Italian restaurant. The food is great. (Had pizza and pasta). I haven't eaten such good pizza in a long time. We would like to come again. It's great that there is now such a good restaurant nearby.

Pins and pasta dishes really tasty. But while the pinsa is ok in terms of portion. The pasta dishes were rather manageable. There is still a lot of room for improvement in service.

Today we visited our new Italian restaurant "La Fortuna" in the Kurhaus Schömberg again and were completely impressed by the selection and quality of the dishes on offer! The menu has been significantly expanded in the last few weeks and there are now many fine specialties from BELLA ITALIA - including a selection of mussel dishes and various pasta dishes served in a parmesan loaf! Little tip: Be sure to try the tiramisu - a DREAM!!! Service was really very friendly and quick. Quality and price are right here! We will be back soon!

Went for dinner at the weekend and were finally able to taste truffle pasta made from a Parmesan wheel in the area. Good Italian wines. Always happy.

The food was very tasty and good value for money. It was pretty cold in the pizzeria. A small fan heater in the anteroom was supposed to make it a little warmer, but that didn't work. Unfortunately the chef was sick and we had to wait a long time for food.

The service was top when there were two of us there on a Friday. We ordered a small appetizer platter for one person. But it was easily enough for us together. (It was very tasty and had a great selection, exactly how we imagined it). We had 2 pizzas, one with buffalo mozzarella and one with ham. Both were very, very tasty, I haven't had pizza like this in a long time. For dessert we had ice cream, which was a bit expensive for the small portion but the rest was fine. The main courses and starters were also great value for money. However, I find the drinks quite expensive. And serving Cola, Spezi, Fanta in a 0.33l glass bottle, as we know it from every party, for €3.5 is just a shame. You could at least pour it into a glass or something. For that -1 star.

Ein sehr gutes Lokal, Essen super lecker und guter Service und der Preis ist super. Einfach mal ausprobieren

We ordered Pizza to take away. We called at around 17:00 and ordered for 18:00. Pityful we had to wait around 15 minutes even after actually ordering for 18:00 But in total I would say it is the only pizza eatable around Schömberg. Thin pizza base with enough toppings and taste. The topping was chosen so that the pizza doesn't float and the base stays crispy. Only the edge could have opened up a little more. Unfortunately, my friends' two pizzas weren't baked quite as crispy. We had 1 Calabrese and 2 Bufalina. The Ambiente was very high class in my eyes and it looks like a cozy place. Also rentable for weddings as it seems. The Employees seemed very young and kind of exhausted and some times confused working with the Cash register system. So in total a good experience, but room for improvement.

Das Ambiente innen hat uns nicht überzeugt. Man sollte auf jeden Fall abends nicht an der Fensterseite sitzen. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut. Preis und Leistung bei Pizza gut Die Preise für Nudelgerichte bei den winzigen Portionen sind unangemessen hoch. Wir haben dann eine Portion Nudeln separat nachbestellt. Für diese kleine Portion mit Öl und Knoblauch extra nochmals 11 Euro bezahlt.

Wir waren heute dort spontan Essen. Tolle Vorspeisen, Tagesempfehlung ein Gedicht. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die Pizza.

Das La Fortuna bietet ein sehr angenehmes modernes Ambiente, leckere Speisen, netten Service und hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Mit Blick auf den Kurpark ist es zudem sehr schön gelegen. Sowohl für Familienfeiern, Veranstaltungen als auch für ein Essen in kleiner Runde sehr zu empfehlen. Alternativ kann man die Speisen auch zum Abholen bestellen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im La Fortuna Schömberg. Fanden es nur schade, dass es oftmals so so wenig besucht ist.

Da wir nur etwas getrunken haben,kann ich nichts zum Essen sagen. Ansonsten ein schönes Ambiente
