The ambiance is great! The food, unfortunately, is a different story. We were a party of 10, and only 2 people really enjoyed their meals. My fish was too greasy, the duck too small, and there was only one dumpling with it... and the spaghetti with truffle was more like truffle sauce with cream... etc. Unfortunately, it's not at all justified for almost €30 a plate. A tip... don't print the menus on loose paper... Use thick paper or laminate them; then it would at least match the ambiance. I won't be coming back here. Despite that, full marks for the ambiance, as mentioned.

La Fabrica – Italian Restaurant with Heart, Character, and Excellent Cuisine We've eaten at La Fabrica countless times. It's especially nice that in the summer, there are also outdoor seating areas where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the restaurant is spacious, very cozy, and the open kitchen always gives you a great view of what's being freshly prepared. A huge plus are the staff: The same incredibly friendly and attentive team has been working there for years. You know each other personally, receive a warm welcome, and almost feel like you're visiting friends – that's truly something special and is part of the charm of the place. The cuisine is excellent – ​​especially for meat and fish lovers. The quality, taste, and authentic Italian preparation impress you every time. There are a few dishes for vegetarians, but unfortunately, none for vegans. Since we switched to a plant-based diet, we've missed La Fabrica very much. It would be nice if one or two vegan options were added in the future – that would perfectly round out the already great offerings. What we personally still need is some quiet background music. It's mostly quiet at the moment, and a little music would make the already lovely atmosphere even more cozy. One minor criticism concerns the decor: The Christmas trees on the ceiling, while creative, seem a bit impractical and difficult to keep clean. An alternative solution would certainly be more hygienic and just as visually appealing. Despite these small details, La Fabrica remains, for us, a place with excellent cuisine, warm service, and a special feel-good atmosphere. For anyone who loves good meat or fish: a definite recommendation!

The food was very good, with beautiful combinations of dishes for us. Perhaps too wild for some. A very nice location; it's large inside but manageable. The open kitchen/background noise didn't bother me. We'll be back and look forward to it.

The staff had forgotten our reservation and the table was set incorrectly. After 10 minutes, the order came: Mediterranean fish platter from the grill with spaghetti alio olio. Mine was salmon with mashed potatoes and dill, wine foam sauce and spinach. Everything was fried to death, mashed potatoes from the microwave and the sauce was paste. The spaghetti was so al dente that it crunched and was drowned in oil.

Unfortunately, the card available online was not valid; instead there were A4 sheets of paper that were difficult to read for people with reading difficulties. There was a handwritten note directly at the bottom of the card that EC card payments were not possible - thank God this turned out to be outdated and we were able to pay by card. The staff was extremely friendly, but at times they were busy with the occupancy. I had the pork fillet in Gorgonzola sauce with asparagus. The meat was fried to perfection, the sauce had an ideal consistency and was not over-seasoned - that can happen quickly with Gorgonzola. The vegetables were also cooked to the right level, there is absolutely nothing to complain about here 👍🏻 It was a bit noisy due to the number of visitors, as there is only one large hall without a room divider, but no wonder. But many visitors also speak for the good food 🤤

We've been to Fabrica several times over the past few years. The waiters and waitresses are always super friendly and attentive, and they do a fantastic job! The ambiance is exceptional, maintained and continually evolving, and really good. The menu is clear and always quite similar; sometimes we wish there was a bit more variety. However, the dishes are almost always so flavorful and deliciously prepared that we're happy to return again and again. High praise goes to the kitchen, thank you!

A good Italian in the north of the Bockum district. You sit there comfortably and it just tastes good. It started with the delicious bread and garlic sauce. My son had lasagna and I had pizza tonno. The latter could have been a little crispier in the middle. The mousse au chocolat with raspberry sauce was also original, both in a mason jar. I can recommend the shop.

We ate at this restaurant for a birthday. Many Italian dishes were converted into German dishes (e.g. the carbonara with cream, which was good). The main courses are very tasty and well prepared, but the pasta is cooked a little too soft, instead of al dente. The truffle pasta was tasty, but as mentioned, the tagliolini were overcooked and there was really too much truffle cream. The service was friendly but very slow. The desserts, however, were excellent.

We had reserved a table for New Year's Eve. After being seated we discovered that the regular menu was not valid. You could only order from a specially created sheet of paper with only a few dishes. There was no pizza at all that day. At the end of the sheet it was pointed out that you cannot pay by card, but only in cash. Why? These special features that apply on New Year's Eve were not pointed out when we made the reservation by telephone. So we all had to look in our wallets to check whether everyone had enough cash. So the evening started with a nuisance at the table, especially since the prices were also quite steep. Our dissatisfaction continued when the waiter came to the table and asked whether he could accept drink requests, even though we had just sat down and a drinks menu was not available or had not been presented. From our point of view, the waiter, in contrast to his young colleague, unfortunately did not seem particularly likeable and therefore not friendly towards the customer. When we had eaten, the waiter came to our table without wasting any words, his arm outstretched. It took us a moment to realize that he wanted to clear away, so we should pass the empty plates across the table from the back row to the front. We found the waiter's behavior to be arrogant and relatively disrespectful. After the main course, no dessert was suggested to us or a dessert menu was presented to us. We left the restaurant relatively quickly, even though we would otherwise have ordered one or two drinks. Overall, we found our visit to La Fabrica to be quite disappointing and we didn't feel we were treated well. After we wanted to pay, the waiter said that we should go to the cash register and pay there, saying "colleague is coming soon". So we waited at the checkout until the waiter who was allowed to collect came to us. Nobody asked us when we paid at the checkout (we didn't collect at the table) whether we were satisfied. Understandably, I didn't tip because the service wasn't right. If the idea was to present itself to the outside world as a special restaurant that day, this plan failed!

I rarely express my opinion, but the food at this restaurant is nothing special. Especially the smash burger – they could have put more effort into it. The meat was overcooked or burnt, and the bun seemed artificial, as if it had been bought at the nearest supermarket. An additional service fee of 15% was charged. We won't go there anymore. Unfortunately I can't recommend it!
