La Casita in Pulheim

Very nice atmosphere, very personal service. Unacceptable food. (Salad with canned tuna and salad with leftover fillet (instead of fillet strips). The whole thing was carelessly squashed into a small bowl that was barely edible. I can get better (and cheaper) at any pizzeria. I'll forgo further visits. This place definitely deserves a chef who has some semblance of mastery of his craft.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We had smaller tapas starters and different steaks each. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. We particularly liked the rustic, cozy atmosphere and the relaxed, fresh manner of the waiter, who was very patient and positive even when there were intolerances. We had the impression that a lot of it was fresh and homemade. The steaks were very well cooked. We would love to come back!

Friday evening. Table for 1 person. The 300 gram medium sirloin steak was a dream. The bacon beans were on point. I found the vegetables alone to be a little too bathed in butter. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I didn't have to wait long for either the food or the drink. All in all 5 stars.

The food was okay, but for the price we ate better. Was there as part of a Christmas party. Chairs uncomfortable and the tables weren't great either. The prices are too high for me. Will not visit the restaurant again

Seldom eaten such good steak. The degree of cooking was perfect, great quality of meat. Very good tapas starters. But quality also has its price. But I'd rather spend 30 euros on a top steak than 20 euros on nothing. I only wish there was more choice when it came to wine. There was only one kind, but it was quite good. I'm just visiting here, but I would love to take La Casita with me to Bavaria. Update January 2025. Another visit to la Casita. My comment above remains exactly the same, great. La Casita has even upped the ante when it comes to wine. At least 2 bottles of wine and the open house wine.

I chose the sirloin steak 300g for just under €32. I wanted it medium rare, it was nicely seared on one side and barely to not at all on the other side. It was more raw than anything else. I also told customer service and all they got was a sorry. A short time later the other service employee came and offered me a bedside table, which I didn't want, but I was given a small coke. The bill came and unfortunately I was charged the entire 300g even though I could only eat more than 200g of this steak. It's a shame it was the first and last time I've been there. Also no selection for children.

Preis - Leistung stimmt nicht mehr. Viel zu hohe Preise ! Steak und Fritten waren auf den Teller geschmissen ohne auch nur annähernd Dekorativ hergerichtet. Steak sollte Medium sein und war fast roh. Das war unser letzter Weihnachten im La Casita.

Seid 20 Jahren besuchen wir nun dieses Lokal. Schade aber der heutige Abend war teuer bezahlt. Die anrichteweise auf unseren Tellern war Kantinen mäßig. Nicht wie gewohnt. Das Mädel / Bedingung/ Theke, da gefiel mir der Ton nicht. Freundlich selbstbewusst sollte sie sich aneignen. Das essen war so lala. Der Laden war leer und die küche machte um 20.50 Uhr Feierabend, an einem Sonntag! Vielleicht war das bezeichnet. Wenn mann 150 Euro bezahlt für 3 Personen ohne Vorspeise ohne Dessert ohne Wein. Auf dem Dorf. Leute wo sind wir eigentlich gelandet. La casita, mit uns nie wieder. Wirklich sehr schade!

I mean something different by a schnitzel! After complaining, I immediately got another meal! The steak was then very good! Despite multiple complaints, I received very nice service!!! We wouldn't eat there again!!

Cozy restaurant in Argentine country house style. Super friendly staff who are open to every wish. The dishes are very tasty and a good size, the boss can tell you a little story about almost all the dishes and everything seems homemade and no convenience products. Always worth a visit!

Not recommended for vegetarians. Of course, I understand that a steakhouse specializes in the preparation of meat - but it is still to be expected that the other dishes on offer are also prepared in an edible manner. Unfortunately, this was not the case during our visit. The bruschetta was so burnt that it was simply inedible. The same applied to the grilled vegetables. The pan-fried vegetables brought after the complaint were floating in oil. Unfortunately absolutely unacceptable for the price. After an evening like that, the waitress's promise of “There's a free shot for every black (burnt) strip” didn't help to lift the mood.

It was very tasty, from the steak to the side dishes and the friendly waiter. Went out of the restaurant happy. Small but nice and very comfortable.

Everything was great: the taste of the food, the cozy dining room, the excellent service. One star deducted, however, for the prices: of course everything has become more expensive, and quality also has its price, but that sometimes goes a bit too far (especially with drinks and side dishes). Nevertheless, the visit is worth it, as I said, a great restaurant!

Ein sehr uriges und gemütliches Restaurant mit einem exzellenten Kundenservice! Seit Jahren wollten wir mit der Familie hingehen, endlich hat es geklappt! Alles in allem hat es sich gelohnt, wobei ich natürlich sagen muss, dass gerade Steaks Recht teuer sind. Wir hatten die Tintenfische mit Ofenkartoffeln, gebackenen Ziegenkäse mit Honig, Mini Paella und Meeresfrüchte Salat als Tapas. Der Salat war leider wohl direkt aus der Dose - schmecke stark nach Essig. Der Tintenfisch war etwas zäh,also ein paar Min. überkocht. Dafür schmeckte die Paella sehr gut und der gebackene Ziegenkäse war top! Die Ofenkartoffel war durch die gute Sauerrahmsauce eine leckere Beilage. Alles in allem eines der besten Läden in Pulheim. Wir werden bestimmt ab und zu hingehen. Mit Abstand der beste Service in der ganzen Gegend!

War mit meiner Familie zum ersten Mal im La Casita. Sehr schöne rustikale und gemütliche Einrichtung und sehr netter Empfang und Service. Leider kann die Qualität des Essens mit den ziemlich hohen Preisen kaum mithalten. 300g Filetsteak mit Beilagen und Sauce für knapp 50€… Ich hatte einen Fleischspiess medium bestellt, der durchgebraten und teilweise zäh war. Schade.

Bei Steaks und Tapas ist die Küche gut, bei der Paella muss man Glück haben. Das Preisniveau passt nicht immer zur Portionsgröße, die Paella besteht zu 80 Prozent aus Reis und jeweils ca. 10 Prozent Gemüse und / oder Fleisch und Meeresfrüchten. Hinzu kommt, dass der optische Eindruck nicht wirklich zum Genuss einlädt. Auch bei den Tapas und den Deserts passt der aufgerufene Preis nicht immer zur Portionsgröße.

Ein Medium bestelltes Steak kam well done und die Küche war so lahmarschig, dass das Steak erst kam, als alle aufgegessen hatten. Nie wieder!!!

Endlich mal wieder ein Steak (wahlweise bis 509 gr) was den Namen verdient, Tapas waren ebenfalls Klasse .

Sehr gemütliches und ansprechendes Restaurant mit schönen Sitzgruppen jeglicher Größe. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvor kommend ohne dabei steif zu wirken. Ganz besonders schön war die schnelle Fertigstellung des doch sehr aufwändigen Essens, natürlich in Spitzenqualität, ebenfalls war die Versorgung mit Getränken sehr zuvor kommend. Ich habe selten so ein nettes Personal erlebt. Die Steaks die wir bestellt hatten waren ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus, beste Qualität, absolut schmackhaft zubereitet. Dazu gab es diverse leckere Beilagen einschließlich Salat, absolut fantastisch. Hier würde ich sofort gerne wieder speisen. Top👍

Ein kleines aber sehr feines Arg. Steakhaus was eine sehr gute Küche hat. Die Karte ist sehr ausgewogen. Ein Steak so wie es sein sollte. Auf den Punkt gegrillt. Tapas und Beilagen sehr sehr lecker. Die Dorade war einfach nur köstlich. Der Nachtisch hat das ganze abgerundet. Positiv zu erwähnen sei, daß man gefragt wurde, ob ich das Glas vom Brandy Carlos Mendoza erwärmt haben wollte. Das mit Abstand beste Restaurant in Pulheim und Umgebung. Wir kommen regelmäßig hier essen und sind jedesmal begeistert. Egal ob Steak, das Fischgericht aus der Wochenkarte oder Tapas. Alles mit viel Liebe hergerichtet, wahnsinnig lecker und auf Punkt genau. Der Service ist ebenfalls super. Nicht zu aufdringlich aber trotzdem auf zack. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr gemütlich mega freundliche Bedienung leckers San Miguel. Aber leider hatte der Koch einen schlechten Tag. Steak kam erst totgegrillt dann Englisch für den Preis ein no go. Wir haben aber auch ein Bier aufs Haus bekommen. Wie gesagt alle mega freundlich. Aber leider das Geld nicht wert.

Hier kommen wir seit ein paar Jahren immer wieder gern in unregelmäßigen Abständen vorbei, um Tapas zu essen. Ja, in der Kölner Innenstadt gibt es ausgefeiltere Tapas-Läden mit mehr Auswahl in denen wir auch öfter unterwegs sind. Doch wir finden: gute Qualität, ausreichende Portionen, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sehr bemühte Gastleute. Wir fühlen uns wohl und haben regelmäßig schöne Abende. Vielen Dank dafür und gern wieder.

The meat is simply amazing. Perfectly cooked and slightly caramelized from the grill. While it's true that there are other very good Argentinian restaurants in Köln, la Casita can compete in terms of meat quality. However, price is slightly higher, especially when it comes to appetizers, wine and side dishes. But in any case it's worth a try (or more) for every meat lover! Especially those living near Pulheim.

Having an Argentinian restaurant in the small town like Pulheim was quite a nice surprise. On many aspects, the Casita is highly recommendable. First and foremost, the meat is top quality. Service was okay. The waiter felt like he had to try to be funny all the time, which was a bit tiring after a while. For some reason, they removed the Gorgonzola sauce from the menu (it still appears on the online menu, though). That was a letdown because this is ma favorite. The meat was perfect, but my papa asada was overcooked. Overall we had a good meal. Now I am a big fan of El Chango in Cologne. The similarities between the two restaurants is striking. The menu and prices are very comparable. Even the little appetizer they bring as a welcome snack is pretty much the same. However, when considering the details, I prefer the El Chango. The place is much cosier, the grill where they cook the meat is visible, the service is better, the price is same or less (while in downtown Cologne, not in a small town), the menu is larger... The Casita is a true contender to El Chango but the sum of all the small things make the El Chango a better choice.
