La Bruschetta in Memmingen

I ordered salmon pasta with spinach for €16.90 for self-pickup, but what I received was spinach pasta with four small pieces of salmon in it. I'm really disappointed because I know the restaurant for its good quality, but this is unacceptable. I definitely expect something different from salmon pasta. Unfortunately, that was my last visit there.

Food: absolutely fantastic! But the acoustics and lighting really need improvement. It's simply too loud to have a conversation; acoustic panels or artwork would probably make a difference. Replacing the light bulbs with warm white ones would also make it much more comfortable. BUT: this is a restaurant, not a movie theater. The food and service are definitely excellent and worth a visit. I'll gladly come back again and again when it's less busy.

It took over an hour and a half to get our food. Drinks were forgotten, and there was no apology from the waiters. The restaurant was so loud that conversation was impossible. It was impossible to get the waiters' attention. The pizza, however, was delicious.

The pizzas are huge if you order the large one. You'll be more than satisfied. The pizza comes from a wood-fired oven. The seafood pizza is generously topped and one of the best I've ever eaten. I was visiting Memmingen and pleasantly surprised by the good value at La Bruschetta. The restaurant is located outside of Memmingen and is only easily accessible by car. We were there on a Wednesday in early September, and the beer garden was almost full. Reservations are recommended.

A piece of Italy Quality you can taste! "La Bruschetta" is simply top-notch! The place is almost always packed, especially on weekends, which says a lot about the quality. Without a reservation, you hardly have a chance. Every dish we had was incredibly delicious, everything fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the best pizzeria near Memmingen. Highly recommended!

The food is simply insanely delicious. BUT it's simply outrageous how long you have to wait here every time you want to pick up pre-ordered food at the specified time. Waiting times of 20-30 minutes are the norm here, which is simply outrageous. We still picked up something because the food is so delicious, but we'll probably have to refrain from doing that in the future...

We ordered for pickup for the first time. The pizzas were ready quickly. Unfortunately, they sat on the counter until the salads arrived about 10 minutes later. I've never experienced anything like that before. Unfortunately, this will probably only be a stopgap measure for us when our regular pizzeria is closed. What a shame! The pizzas were a bit overpriced for their quality. The pizzas tasted rather average, and there weren't enough toppings for the price. The salads were very tasty, and the contents were also incredibly varied. So, the price was right, too.

If you want to be forgotten and ignored, this is the place for you. First, there was no service for almost half an hour, then an endless hour of waiting for a meal that was cold and tasteless. We had to beg for the bill again – apparently, even cashing in here is too much to ask. Furthermore, the prices on the website menu were incorrect. Each dish was €1-2 more expensive than advertised online. This restaurant perfectly combines poor service, lousy food, and endless waiting times. Congratulations – it couldn't get any worse. If you want to ruin your evening, this is the place for you.

I remembered this restaurant as being recommendable, but unfortunately, I can't agree anymore. We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to notice us, even though the waiter saw us and the empty table. We waited what felt like an eternity (an hour) for three pasta dishes and a pizza, while the inside and outside areas became increasingly empty (accordingly, most of the guests had already eaten). Also charming is the fact that the menu on the website isn't up-to-date, and the prices on site are on average €1 to €2 higher than the online menu. We were served cold gnocchi, lukewarm tortellini, and hot penne. Spaghetti aglio e olio tasted neither of aglio nor of olio, but rather of pasta water. Furthermore, it was only lukewarm and significantly too chewy. Only the drinks were brought relatively quickly, but not the bill. The pizza was the best, although (in our opinion) it was only average for an Italian pizza. The waiter's criticism of the food was simply acknowledged with a "Not good? Okay," without asking why or what was wrong. We weren't an isolated case either; the only other occupied table on the terrace also waited over an hour from ordering to receiving their two pizzas. Of course, based on this experience, I can't recommend this restaurant unless you have plenty of time and are happy with a questionable price-performance ratio.

We visited the pizzeria today and were unfortunately very disappointed. Despite repeated eye contact, we were initially ignored. It took about 30-45 minutes, after we had to flag down a waiter, before we were able to order. It then took over an hour for our food to arrive – unfortunately, it was cold and of poor quality. This was particularly incomprehensible given that there were only two tables occupied in the beer garden. Furthermore, the prices did not match the information on the official website. There was no apology for the long wait. We even had to pay again because the bill was not brought, and we ended up having to go inside. Overall, a very disappointing visit – we unfortunately cannot recommend the pizzeria.

We were very disappointed with our visit. Initially, we were ignored for a long time and had to ask for a table ourselves to even order. Then came the endless wait, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. The people at the next table felt the same. (Absolutely annoyed and hungry.) It must be said that the beer garden was completely empty except for two tables. The spaghetti had barely been dipped in the sauce and was more like pasta water. Furthermore, the prices didn't match the official online menu. When we politely pointed out that the food wasn't good, they simply thanked us but showed no further reaction. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this pizzeria at all.

So disappointing. We made an appointment and reserved a table for 3 adults and 3 children on August 10, 2025. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and waited until 7:00 p.m. without a single member of staff coming out to ask us what we wanted to eat or drink. After that, we left angrily. We will never go to this restaurant again. Please boycott this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. I've eaten there three times in 2025 and waited over 90 minutes each time for the food. If the kitchen can't handle the volume of orders, please reduce the number of seats or cancel phone orders.

Been there twice. Unfortunately, I was disappointed both times. The first time, I ordered takeout. It took an hour to wait. I arrived an hour later, and my pizza wasn't even made. So I waited another half hour for my pizza. The second time I tried it there, and we had to wait 1.5 hours for the pizza. The service and the manager were completely unmotivated. Definitely the last time. I can't recommend it anymore. It's a shame, because the food is really good.

We were there with three small children. Unfortunately, after we asked for a table for five, no one warned us about the long wait. We waited an hour and 45 minutes after ordering for the food. You can imagine that with three children... Meanwhile, we had to wait another 45 minutes for our second drink. The food was okay, but nothing special. But that's a matter of taste. For some, they might be the best pizzas. For others, they're definitely not.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on the way to Munich. The service was friendly and quick and the food tasted fresh and flavorful. Works for vegetarians and meat eaters. There is parking available and the shaded patio was comfortable to eat on.

We went there today with friends who have eaten there before and were warmly welcomed. The 1.5-hour drive was truly worth it; everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The tiramisu was amazing, light and fun, and incredibly delicious. We'll be back.

We had high hopes that it would be tasty, given the stars on Google this was very likely. - Starter Carpaccio, there can't be much wrong with that, only the oil, balsamic and the rocket apparently. Shrimp in a cocktail sauce soup, not tasty. Bruschetta, was fortunately tasty, certainly considering the name of the restaurant. - Main course Calamaris, €23.90, the taste was hard to find, just like the crispy layer. Fortunately we did get fries with it for €3.50. Pfeffersteak, asked for a rare fried steak, we got it well done - and further, probably to hide the fact that it had been frozen several times. Lasagna, you can get a better one at Lidl. This one still contained a stray wad of minced meat with the same structure as a local dumpling.

We're from Kempten, and La Bruschetta is our absolute favorite pizzeria there. Now we got to meet the other part of the family and had to try their menu. >>>So, to sum it up, if you're looking for a delicious pizzeria in and around Memmingen, it's your own fault if you don't go to La Bruschetta in Memmingen. After we sat in the beer garden for 20 minutes, they still didn't think it was necessary to serve us. First all the tables were cleaned, this seemed to be done in front of the guests. When we asked why we weren't being served, we received an answer in Italian and a shrug of the shoulders. Service zero, really inadequate.

Quiet environment, managed by Italian and German staff, good Italian and German cuisine based on meat and fish.

We have been traveling there from Augsburg for many years because the overall package is just right. The pizzas are very large. For most guests, the small pizza size will be enough. Service is OK but a waiter speaks to the guests very loudly.

Our favorite Italian in Memmingen - for many years always excellent food, good service and special requests are also fulfilled. Reservation required as the restaurant is always very busy. We always feel very comfortable there.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was appealing, but that was the only positive thing. 1. Service: Service was inattentive and slow. We had to wait a long time for our order and were hardly noticed. 2. Food: The quality of the food was way below my expectations. 3. Value for money: The prices were completely excessive for what was on offer. In addition, the cleanliness in the restaurant was not satisfactory. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant nor will I visit it again.

Top Italian cuisine La Bruschetta impresses with its authentic flair, warm service and an excellent daily menu. I was particularly impressed by the homemade tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce and tender strips of beef fillet – an absolute delight! The tiramisu dessert was also heavenly, and the wine selection matched the menu perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the evening thoroughly enjoyable. A real insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine – I’ll definitely be back! 5/5 stars.

Very tasty pizza 🍕. For the price the pizzas are huge. If you're not really hungry, you should order the small one. Highly recommended. Sometimes there is even live music. Maybe They could make the ambience a little more comfortable. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

But no one can do anything about it if you talk to each other. I have to say, you can go again. Thank you.

On our way home from the golf course next door, we were looking for a restaurant on the way WITHOUT having to go into town. The completely full parking lot and side streets in the area made us hesitant about continuing our journey. A young, very friendly Italian woman briefly checked the reservation list and on a Saturday evening (!) actually found two seats in the already full restaurant. The wood-fired pizza oven in the restaurant, the busy hustle and bustle of the pizza makers and the tempting smell made our anticipation of a delicious dinner grow. After just 10-15 minutes we got our pizzas to our place. After tasting, we would realize where the many good reviews and parking situation come from: - excellent cuisine and quality! - fast, friendly and attentive service - fair prices - lots of reservations (necessary!)

I reserved a table over the phone, but the reservation was not written down and so my family and I were seated at an “emergency table.” This table was in a corner that was quite narrow, we asked in a friendly tone whether it would be possible to move it because it was very narrow in the corner. We were then kindly reprimanded that there were no other tables and after a few minutes the boss came to us personally to give us another table. My husband was then reprimanded again in a louder tone and asked to look at the phone history to see whether the call had been made to the right pizzeria. Then I noticed that it was mistakenly the pizzeria in Kempten with the same name. When I realized the error, I and my family apologized for the inconvenience and said we had misread it. Then the boss personally came very close to me and became very loud and said that he “didn’t give a shit” about my apology and that we had to leave the store immediately. I asked him to speak to me in a normal tone and to lower his tone, then he came closer to me and became even louder, so much so that the other guests turned around in shock and shook their heads. Of course, I left the restaurant immediately with my family because I don't need to be spoken to in that tone! In my opinion, respect for the paying customer is very important to the boss personally!

I had the tortellini which lacked any flavor. Probably frozen and then ready-made sauce without seasoning. The pizzas looked decent, it would probably have been better to take the tortellini off the menu...

We wanted to grab something quick to eat on the way home and came across this pizzeria because of the many positive reviews. Because of the many cars, we were expecting to run out of space. Luckily we were assigned one, which we were happy about because we were very hungry. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour, almost 90 minutes, for our food. This would have been less of a problem if we had been told about it straight away so we could have adjusted to it. The calzone was huge, the dough was delicious but unfortunately cold inside. My cannelloni was fine. We didn't find it particularly convincing, but that was also due to the unreasonable waiting time. In times of citizens' money it is certainly becoming more and more difficult to find good and motivated staff, but an honest statement about the waiting time would be helpful. Otherwise, the service was fine, the food was average and anyone who wants to spend a fun and entertaining evening and has time is well served, because at 8 p.m. a table number is drawn at bingo with a loud, Italian, spirited announcement and you have the chance to have your meal and drink as a gift. A fun idea that I haven't seen anywhere before. The espresso we received after paying on the house was very tasty. Conclusion: A good, average restaurant with a waiting time that is too long (of course I can't judge whether that's always the case)

Not recommended at all. It was my sister's birthday that day and we wanted to eat together. We were very happy but it was anything but good, the service was totally rude and arrogant. And our pizzas took 2 whole hours and there wasn't even much going on that day. Then we complained and the waiter said, “Yes, you could have gone to any other pizzeria,” which just made his pizzeria look even worse.

After years back in the restaurant because I was invited, nothing has improved. Waited an hour and a half for the pizza, everyone picked up was served beforehand. People who came after us finished eating before we received our food, maybe regulars? It's been like that there for years, but the shop is booming, it's your own fault if you go there anyway, for me that's it, it doesn't work that way. I would advise calling in an organizational consultant, the staff is working hard, it's not their fault, it's the entire organization's fault. The food was good, but not so great that you have to worry about it. What a shame!

Was taken away again without apology. Then it was time to wait. Other tables received the food we were missing. After asking twice, it finally came. My husband had already been ready for half an hour. Again, no excuse. Have been a customer for over 30 years.

We occasionally get pizza from Bruschetta. Great daily offer at a flat rate for lunch. The pizza tastes great, is nice and thin and crispy.

There were two of us there and we ordered two "small" pizzas. I couldn't even eat all of my pizza. It was crazy how big the pizzas were. We also had two waters with a few ingredients and a tiramisu, which my companion really enjoyed. It was really great how friendly we were served and how we laughed with the waiter. Clearly recommended if you drive past Memmingen and are hungry. Even if you think you're lost, just keep trusting the navigation system.

We arrived at the pizzeria at 6 p.m., our drinks and food were ordered relatively quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks, and the food we ordered came in a reasonable amount Time. But that was it... we wanted to order something to drink and desert, unfortunately no chance... We were completely ignored by the waiter, even though he saw that our glasses were empty. It was around 8.30 p.m We were just too stupid, we paid and went home disappointed. It's a shame, the food tasted excellent, but when you're left stranded and ignored (we would have liked to have ordered drinks and desert) it's no fun. The boss would have to take action.

The food is good, but the waiting time for the whole family with children of 2 hours is unreasonable. The boss even complains when you explain to him that he should tell you on the phone when making the reservation that the restaurant is full! Unfortunately we will never come back!
