La Botte in Kaltenkirchen

My wife has been here with friends before and said the food is good...what can I say...my wife is right again! A very friendly welcome and a very nice and cozy atmosphere. There isn't a huge selection of dishes, but everything is fresh, very tasty and simply delicious. The staff are very attentive and quick. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back! The price-performance ratio is also good. Everything has just gotten more expensive. But when you see how fresh and delicious everything is prepared and how much joy and good humor the people put into their work, you know that everything is just right! SUPER! And then we even had table 13...our lucky number...a perfect evening! Thank you!

We were very pleasantly surprised when we stopped here on our way through. A lovingly decorated restaurant with excellent food. Very friendly and attentive service. From pizza and pasta to gnocchi, everything was delicious. Excellent value for money, too.

A well-deserved 5 stars! Our dishes, pizza Capri and the daily specials of sea bream and lasagna, were fantastic, surpassed only by the desserts of tiramisu, creme Catalan, and semifrigo with strawberries. We particularly appreciated the very friendly, attentive, and dedicated service staff. We will definitely be back.

Really good food; the pizza Capri, the lasagna, and the sea bream were all delicious. The tiramisu made it all perfect. Also worth mentioning is the friendly staff, especially the friendly service.

There were three of us there. My meal was delicious (pasta with mushrooms), but my companion's schnitzel was probably not seasoned enough, but he ate it anyway ;-) The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere felt more like a former Greek restaurant. We waited a relatively long time for our food. It's okay to do it once, but we've had better Italian restaurants. (Taste-wise)

We returned yesterday after almost a year to enjoy our sea bream, served personally by the chef, and it was incredibly delicious. We missed the Italian music, which would have been a typical match for Italian food, and the personal welcome from the chef, just like the times before. Best wishes, see you at the next sea bream.

July 24, 2025 - A lovely tapas evening for five people. We barely managed to finish it all, with something for every taste! It was worth it! Still top-notch!

Today was our first time at La Botte and we were sadly disappointed because the food took a long time to arrive, even though, at least by the looks of it, there were only three tables occupied. The kids said the pizza was delicious, but the cream sauce was not. It seemed like a vegetarian or vegan cream substitute had been used, which is perfectly acceptable, but it should be stated on the menu. We didn't like it. However, the service was very friendly, and we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine on the house.

Four of us spontaneously came here for the first time. We were all absolutely thrilled. The service was extremely attentive and very polite, and the food was absolutely delicious! We'd love to come back!

We've been here several times since the new owners took over. Excellent service and currently the best pizza in Kaltenkirchen. Bruschetta as a starter is practically a meal in itself. I shared it with my wife.

We visited La Botte in Kaltenkirchen and had a very pleasant evening. We ordered mozzarella as a starter, and sea bream in a salt crust and a grilled steak as main courses. All the dishes were freshly prepared and the flavors were very well-balanced. The sea bream in particular was wonderfully juicy and perfectly cooked – a real highlight! The steak was also grilled to perfection and of high quality. One small request: We would have liked some vegetables as a side dish to go with the sea bream – for example, some baked potatoes or baked vegetables like carrots. That would have made the dish even more complete for us. The service was attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive – exactly what you'd want.

I went there for dinner during the week. The food was delicious. I had pizza and bruschetta to start. The service was particularly friendly. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

The food was good, the vegetarian pizza gets full marks... The service was also very nice and courteous. A nice gesture is the champagne as a welcome... However, you wonder what the clothing sale in the entrance is for... The outside presentation is also not very inviting... everything is full of weeds in front of the restaurant, that's not very inviting... We visited La Botte for the first time three days ago, but we won't come back, there are much better Italian restaurants in and around Kaltenkirchen...

We went to La Botte for the first time yesterday, and it was amazing. Super friendly service, the food was excellent, one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever known. Antipasti platter for starters. Bruschetta was a dream. The main courses (spaghetti aglio e olio, tuna pizza, rack of lamb, pork fillet) were also excellent. We will DEFINITELY be back. ***** stars are actually still too few.

There is a small map, which is usually good. However, this card is so unimaginative that it's really difficult to find something suitable. A matter of taste for me, the dishes selected had nothing to do with Italian dishes. My companion felt the same way. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is quite old.

I always enjoy coming to La Botte and can highly recommend the restaurant! The food is always delicious and they have the best bruschetta here. The staff is also friendly and accommodating, you immediately feel welcome. All in all a nice restaurant for a nice evening.

We have reserved a table for New Year's Eve. So far so good… We and our visitors looked at the menu online and decided on pizzas. Now the BIG catch. There was a Christmas and New Year's Eve menu with what felt like 3 dishes: fish, entrecot, lasagne... Children also only had pasta, no pizzas because the pizza maker was supposedly sick, he had probably also infected the advertised live DJ, who also had no trace of the clientele, 98% of whom were pensioners. We cannot recommend the restaurant!

A very good Italian restaurant. I stumbled upon this place by chance, and the good reviews immediately convinced us. The lunch menus we had were really good. The portion sizes were just right for the price. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by.

The pizza was okay, crispy and flat, and really filling. The atmosphere was romantic, with plenty of candlelight, and the cutlery holders were even heart-shaped. The service was extremely friendly and engaging, competent, and readily available. The tiramisu was homemade in a cup. The sprinkles could have easily been left out, though.

I'm extremely satisfied with La Botte. I've eaten there several times in the evening and this week for the first time for lunch. The food is always excellent. The quality is excellent. The selection is excellent. The service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. The lunch menu, in particular, is quite affordable. I definitely recommend it.

We had our first visit to La Botte and wanted to test the buffet advertised on the homepage. We walked in the entrance and wondered if we were in an outlet. Everything was full of clothes racks and clothes... unfortunately it didn't feel comfortable or inviting. But we didn't want to let that put us off and wait for the food. The waitress was there immediately and served us immediately. She was very nice and everything went quickly. We were then allowed to start straight away with the buffet. There was a very small selection but here too it wouldn't be a problem if everything tasted good. There was spinach, rosemary potatoes, chicken in butter white wine sauce and gnocchi. You can choose lettuce in advance, tomato slices and cucumbers with dressing. And there were also two trays of small different pizzas. We tested everything and were disappointed... Everything was completely cold. That was really a no go for us. And we were there at peak time of 1 p.m. The buffet starts from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. We suspect it fills up at 12pm and then it doesn't heat up properly. But the cold food wasn't a highlight in terms of taste either. Everything was very poor and bland in taste. The bread, however, was very tasty. But 13.90 per person is too expensive just for bread. Unfortunately, the interior design was the icing on the cake... a large mirror that was completely dirty and rustic furnishings that didn't suit an Italian at all. It almost looked like a rest stop. Next to our table there was a huge package ready to be sent... It was really anything but cozy and nice. So we left there, very hungry and really disappointed. We really expected and hoped for more. Service & bread are great but unfortunately that's about it :( I'm sorry for the harsh judgment, but at just under €40 you have to say that.

We were there for lunch and chose the buffet for 13.90 euros. Salad, dressing, bread, cucumber, tomatoes, pasta with tomato sauce, tortellini with cheese filling, balls in sauce (ready ones? the baker won), rice with olives, rosemary potatoes, and two simple pizzas from the tray. If you like it, you should be there at 12 p.m. to eat warm and fresh. The taste is ok, there is definitely something more to be done. Service was very nice and attentive.  The rooms are very old. Parking spaces in front and behind the building.

Very friendly good service. We are always pleased with this young service, cheerful staff. This is also noticeable when eating. The chef Italian cuisine. My favorite is the salmon on a bed of lettuce. Serve the dressing and sauce in small bowls. It's always like a piece of home.

Angefangen mit dem herzlichen Willkommen durch die Chefin, dem liebevoll gedeckten Tisch im gemütlichen Garten abgestimmt auf den Geburtstag, dem freundlichen und professionellen Team und dem hervorragenden Essen hat wirklich alles gestimmt. A good Italian restaurant with fair prices. Attentive, friendly service, a small champagne to welcome you, just arriving is pleasant. The menu offers enough selection. There are also reasonably priced dishes included. These are very tasty, lovingly prepared and well portioned. They are served in a very reasonable time. The temperature could have been a little higher, but it was still okay. A clear recommendation! 09/2024: Perfect service, starting at the reception in the restaurant, delicate dishes and a nice ambience lead to a clear recommendation! Price and performance are in an absolutely harmonious relationship!

Very nice restaurant. The food is very good and of the highest quality. Service staff is courteous, friendly and attentive. The toilets are kept very clean. Hair spray, deodorant etc. are available free of charge. We would be happy to come back.

The food tasted very good, the service was good, but the 1.5 hour waiting time from ordering to eating was definitely too long for me!!! In between, the service kept asking for more drinks, is that a concept?! or was there a shortage of staff in the kitchen?!

I ended up here because of the recessions. Service very attentive and friendly Food different from what I know from other real Italians. Tasted good. But I think the prices are a bit too high. Penne with tomato sauce and Italian bacon € 17.90 🤔 There was also a buffet, but there wasn't really anything for me.

And again the evening was a dream. Thanks for the nice evening. This Easter dinner was a dream. Super tasty and great service. The money was worth it.

Been there twice in the last two years. Very good service and the food is really very good. Unfortunately the portion last time was very small (spaghetti carbonara, homemade) and not appropriate for the price. But again, very, very tasty. Probably the best carbonara I've ever eaten.

A few months ago I was at La Botte for the first time. I have lived in Kaltenkirchen for 23 years. If I had known earlier how good the cuisine is there and how charming the service is, I would have been there much sooner. La Botte also has a lot of nice promotions, recently a lunch buffet for €13.90, from Tue-Fri. The best thing, however, is that La Botte makes it possible for families with little income to have a Christmas dinner every year. I find that respectable, beautiful and worth emulating. Please keep this up. Thank you for doing something like that.

Wir haben den Geburtstag meines Mannes gefeiert und haben aus der Tageskarte Spaghetti Carbonara bestellt. Diese waren total bitter.Nachdem wir nachgefragt haben, ob das so sein soll, fragte die Chefin ob sie mal probieren darf und hat dann direkt von unserem Teller probiert (mit einer sauberen Gabel) Trotzdem war ich entsetzt da ich selbst aus der Gastro komme und das ein absolutes No Go ist. Danach sagte sie ,dass das so sein muss und ist, wie wir fanden, beleidigt weggegangen. Sehr schade. Auch wenn sie fand das das so schmecken muss, hätte ich an ihrer Stelle zumindest einen kleinen Schnaps als Wiedergutmachung ausgegeben. Aber nichts. Und 22 Euro für bittere Carbonara ist schon ne Ansage.Sehr Schade

For me, La Botte rightly deserves every star. A warm welcome immediately makes you feel welcome, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and orders are taken quickly. The selection of dishes is absolutely fine because everything is freshly prepared and whether pizza, pasta, steak or fish, it tastes delicious. Don't forget the delicious starters - and if you want something more, also the excellent desserts, which are served in a variety of ways (no more will be revealed here, only this much: it's worth taking a look at the menu in advance). Behind every visit to this cozy restaurant there is a culinary highlight and at the same time a pleasant break from everyday life. Thank you very much for that and see you soon!

Today we ate in this beautiful and well-kept Italian restaurant. Table reservation worked perfectly. The service was extremely friendly, we immediately felt very comfortable here. Subtle music played in the background. The food was great! No matter whether pizza, salad or rack of lamb. Rarely have we eaten so well in an Italian restaurant. We'll be back, guaranteed.

We ate at La Botte yesterday and once again it was just great. Unfortunately we hadn't made it for a few months and it was a bit like coming home. We were shown to our table and the friendly waitress brought us a welcome champagne and the menu. Then she introduced us by heart to the current daily specials that were not on the menu. As a starter we traditionally chose bruschetta. Super delicious!!! For the main course I chose my favorite pizza "La Botte" (with Parma ham, Roccula and Parmesan). As always, my husband took the delicious sea bream in a salt coating. (Filleting at the table is always something special.) And my mother still raves about the rack of lamb with rosemary potatoes. For dessert we all had the Crema Catalana (delicious). The waitresses were always attentive and very friendly, and the waiting times were absolutely reasonable. We can recommend La Botte with a clear conscience and will definitely come back very soon. Thank you very much, dear La Botte team, for the lovely evening.

Truly Italian food. They have the best bruschetta I have ever tried. The filleted sea bream on the table is great, the pasta bolognese is made with very good ingredients, all the pizzas are delicious, the tiramisu is incredible. We simply love all the dishes and especially the service. You always feel at home. We recommend it 100%.

The portions have become so small that you can't get enough. Example: the rib-eye steak is half the size within 6 weeks. We won't be visiting the restaurant again. The price-performance ratio is no longer correct. It's a shame, but I didn't rush into something like that. Restaurateurs don't have to be surprised if there are fewer and fewer guests. You should also think about your prices.

I'm a little surprised. For ONE pizza to take away, almost 20 euros...double cheese, rocket, a side of tuna and onions...nothing else. Then a scream!...I thought I was going to be thrown out on edge because I had PINEAPPLE!!! If you wanted to have it on it, that's NOT possible at all, we should go somewhere else to get it 😳.. Ok ok, sorry... Then I'll take corn... don't we have... spinach? Um...nope. OK, then just double cheese and stuff... There's Prosecco for free! Real? That's nice... My friend didn't want to... and this was MY PROSECCO... Are we coming back again? Do we recommend La Botte? Computer says NO. No thanks. But: The staff was in a good mood and made us laugh. The only deductions were from the boss.

Edit: we were there a second time recently. With a toddler, just 11 months old, and a teenager. We had to wait 90 minutes for food and the first 30 minutes for drinks. No care was taken to ensure that we still had enough drinks, nor was there a word of apology, let alone some kind of compensation at the end. After a nice hint that the waiting time - especially with a baby - was really long and "dry", the only argument was that the restaurant was full. Then there was no apology or even a little bit of compensation. If that is the argument, you should consider whether you should downsize the store a bit or adopt a different set of morals. Then we won't try there anymore. We don't go there anymore. Old news with 3 stars: The service was very accommodating from the housekeeper, but unfortunately the rest of the waiters and waitresses weren't on their toes and seemed to have little or no interest in the job. The selection on the menu is solid, but I find the house salad with house dressing for 12 euros very unjustified. It's a green salad with canned tuna, jarred olives, loaf Gouda and packaged cooked ham. So nothing that justifies the 12 euros, as it is designed for mass. Unfortunately, the house dressing didn't taste like much and rather as if it had been diluted with water. My husband's steak was beautifully dressed with a caper tomato sauce that was very tasty. Overall, like many things in Kaltenkirchen, rather average in terms of taste and ingenuity of the individual dishes. But the atmosphere is very nice and cozy.

Location old fashioned. Staff friendly. Food is average. Nothing special. Like any other italian restaurant around.

As always, the food was very tasty. The crew around Andrea and Alexandra were again nice, friendly and very attentive. A changing facility for our grandchild was quickly found. Happy to come back!!

I have become an absolute regular customer at La Botte. I often come alone after work, I love the food and the atmosphere. The daily specials are also great, an enrichment for Kaltenkirchen. The new team at La Botte is simply amazing. Finally original Italian cuisine 🇮🇹 And where can you get fresh fish filleted at the table. 5***** always fresh and delicious The owners are so welcoming ♥️ Went there again yesterday, what a fantastic outdoor terrace, amazing ☀️ Nothing more is possible, I really thought I was sitting in Italy now 🇮🇹 I can only say wow 🤩 best Italian cuisine in a dream location. Everything is so loving and you can find that in Kaltenkirchen. My tip: never had bruschetta so delicious and then fresh sea bream, a glass of wine 🍷 and I'm happy ❤️ I'm so glad I found this restaurant with creative and perfect Italian cuisine. Thanks Update: April 2024 It's always a pleasure, it's crazy to eat original spaghetti carbonara today. You don't normally get something like this in Germany, such a great way to enjoy real Italian cuisine. Al dente as it should be, if you understand good food, you should visit this restaurant. Good food and friendly service.

It started when my partner ordered apple juice and instead she was served water with a splash of water and then a final splash of apple juice for the color. That was a bad omen, but after I asked the service about it, at least the apple juice afterwards was apple juice. In addition, the extremely long wait for the food (it was Saturday, but more than 80 minutes of waiting is simply too long) was very annoying, so that you lost all anticipation of the food. My partner got spaghetti carbonara that was only lukewarm, salty and hard. She immediately lost her appetite. At least my Capri pizza was okay, the tomato cream soup was also okay, but I had to add more seasoning to make it taste good. Stupid experience. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

We knew la Botte from the past… It's not the ambience that's new... the kitchen is. What was surprising was excellent cuisine that was inspiring. The menu is manageable but that speaks for the quality of the dishes prepared. The carpaccio was truly a revelation… inspiring cuisine just around the corner. A real asset

Popped in spontaneously on Tuesday evening and was very positively surprised. The pizza with great dough and the Italian starters were served with olive oil and great bread. All in all a culinary success evening.

Dear future guests, dear La Botte team, We have never seen such a beautifully decorated ladies' room. It smells wonderfully fresh and there is even a small emergency room for girls. Wow! La dolce vita doesn't appear here at all. Uncomfortable, outdated furnishings, large main room with a corresponding volume, clothing and shoe sales in the entrance would still be acceptable if the food was good. Unfortunately it wasn't: oversalted, otherwise tasteless, not fair to an “Italian”. Unfortunately, we cannot share the positive reviews here at all.

Das Essen war mäßig, der Risotto sehr suppig und die Nudeln mit Steinpilzen hatte eine nicht passende schärfe und die Pilze waren Tiefkühlware… Preise sind human aber nicht für die Qualität Der Service ist freundlich aber völlig unorganisiert es gab 6 Kellner für vllt 7-8 Tische und man wird immer wieder dasselbe gefragt und muss trotzdem auf alles sehr lange warten. Umgang mit den Kids war gut 👍🏻

Wir waren heute das erste mal im la Botte, obwohl wir das schon lange vor hatten. Die Kellnerin hatte uns den Mittagstisch mündlich vorgetragen, da dieser nicht auf der Karte stand - Penne mit Tomaten Basilikum Sauce und Pizza Salami hatten wir bestellt. Beide Gerichte kamen nach angemessener Zeit und waren sehr lecker! Wir können das la Botte weiter empfehlen und werden auch weiterhin hier Essen gehen.

Leckere Vorspeisen mit origineller Aufmachung . Steak richtig lecker und zart zubereitet. Rosmarinkartoffeln etwas überstürzt und zu wenig. Nachspeisen alle lecker und einfallsreich serviert.

Das Essen war okay, die Nudeln leider nicht mehr ganz heiß. Auf das Essen mussten wir ziemlich lange warten. Die Preise sind schon ordentlich. Kartenzahlung war ohne Probleme möglich.

Ein nettes Lokal für Treffen aller Art. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, die Speisen liebevoll angerichtet. Pizza durchschnittlich. Das Ambiente ist zweckmäßig. Die Preise sind Kundenfreundlich. Wenn man sich nicht auskennt, könnte man denken der Parkplatz ist voll, im Dunklen ist nicht zu erkennen, dass es hinter dem Haus noch weitere Parkplätze gibt.

A German speaking lesson and Italian cuisine all in one! We made a stopover in Kaltenkirchen and searched for a restaurant. Our search led us to La Botte, owned by Aleksandra and Andrea. It had a very cozy, relaxed and family friendly atmosphere. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and patient. We had pizza and the Ravioli. we had decided to use our School German which none of us had spoken for more than 25 years! This did not faze Aleksandra who came to our table to take our orders for dessert, she understood us perfectly. Because of my lactose intolerance I asked for Jägermeister instead, Aleksander urged me to come to the bar and showed me an installation that makes Jägermeister instantly cold, I decided that I want one of those too! Aleksandra had some gifts for us which she brought out and presented us with, we each got a pair of sunglasses and cap, for me Aleksandra had an additional chain. (photo's to be uploaded on a later date, I promise) Standing at the bar, we met Andrea as well, and so eating out can turn into adventure as well. Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant in dem man sich willkommen fühlt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, wenn auch etwas zu angepasst an den hiesigen Gaumen.

Hier passt für mich einfach alles. Höfliches Personal, gutes Essen und schöne Räumlichkeiten. Hier gehe ich wieder essen

Wir kommen aus Bad Bramstedt sehr gerne zu unserem Lieblingsitaliener ins La Botte. Das Personal ist herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist mega lecker (vor allem die Antipasti Vorspeisenplatte!!). Die liebe Begrüßung, mit einer Tischzuweisung, schön gedeckten Tischen und Ambiente sowie einem Glas Sekt gefällt uns auch sehr gut. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen, und freut sich auf ein leckeres und gemütliches Abendessen, wir geniessen es. Großes Lob ans ganze La Botte-Team, bis bald! :-)

Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus ist praktisch. Der Empfang war freundlich, und wir wurden zu einem schön gestalteten Tisch geführt. Ein Glas Sekt zur Begrüßung war eine nette Geste. Die Auswahl von Gerichten aus der Tageskarte, sowie die reguläre Speisekarte, war vielfältig. Wir entschieden uns für Fisch, und es stellte sich als gute Wahl heraus. Die Dorade wurde am Tisch filetiert und perfekt zubereitet. Wir konnten den Genuss wirklich schmecken. Wir möchten uns auf diesem Weg für das angenehme Erlebnis bedanken.

Waren auf einem Dienstag da, war wenig los. Empfang mit einem Sekt. Jeder Platz war liebevoll eingedeckt mit Bestecktaschen in Herzform. "Mit viel Liebe gekocht" Dann verging die Wartezeit wie im Flug und unsere Vorspeise kam. Leckeres gegrilltes Antipasti. das Hauptgericht war auch sehr lecker. I-Tüpfelchen der Nachtisch, nachdem ich mir alle 10 Finger geleckt habe. Fazit: Sehr aufmerksame +freundliche Bedienung, sehr gutes Essen. Sehr angenehme Location. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr schönes Restaurant! Essen ist top! Leider verkaufen sie am Eingang Textilien! Was ich finde stört! Preise hochpreisig für Kaltenkirchen etwas zu teuer! Service war gut und immer da !

Das Essen ist bestens!!! Sehr nettes Personal und die gute Pizza ist besser als bei jedem Italiener und pizza restaurant!!! Bester Italiener! Sehr zu empfehlen!
