La Bodega Dachau in Dachau

Unfortunately there are no 0 stars to award. An absolute disaster. Incompetent and totally overwhelmed by the owner and the team. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait for over an hour. After an hour, my companion and I left. Luckily there is a McDonald's in Dachau with no waiting times.

Had dinner there on Friday, February 7th, 2025, despite preparations for a big celebration, the staff was very courteous and friendly I had a steak that was incredibly good and I have rarely eaten such a good piece of meat I can only recommend five stars I would have gotten five stars for the ambience if I had sat closer to the fireplace, but that's a personal preference 😊

We went to La Bodega twice. About 6 months ago and now recently a few days ago. On our first visit we were really happy with the food and service. At that time we noticed that it was very loud in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed on our last visit. Even though the restaurant was only three quarters full in the main room, it was extremely loud. We had mussels in white wine sauce for the starter and a burger and pan-fried pork for the main course. When ordering, we asked the waiter whether the mussels were enough for two people as a starter. This question was answered yes. However, when the starter came, we found exactly 15 mussels in the plate. In addition, they only brought us an additional small plate even though we had ordered for two people. Unfortunately, we couldn't see how quickly the waiter had disappeared again. Unfortunately, a good 3-4 minutes passed before the waiter looked over again and could be waved over. We then received two small plates and asked again whether there was any bread with the mussels. As already written above, we had been waiting at the table for a while with the mussels and so we started eating. When we were finished, the bread was finally brought to us. Say and write 3 small baguette slices. For 11€ it was really a tragedy. I ordered sweet potato fries with the burger. Unfortunately, when the order arrived at the table, there were regular fries on the plate. I complained about this immediately and was also delivered a bowl of sweet potato fries. The burger and fries tasted very good. However, my wife's pork stir-fry was a very small portion for the price. It came with pita bread as a side dish. There were four eighths of pieces (half a pita bread). Considering that there was no other side dish, this was very, very little. If we hadn't gotten a double portion of fries because of the waiter's mistake when ordering, my wife would have gone home hungry. The pork pan wasn't very filling either. Our conclusion: Since so much went wrong on our second visit, we will no longer visit the restaurant.

An all-round successful evening! We spent a wonderful evening with friends and family in this cozy restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was simply excellent - fresh, prepared with love and full of flavor. Praise to the kitchen. The hosts were extremely attentive and looked after us warmly, so that we felt completely at home. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely convincing. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending – we would love to come back!

Last Saturday at dinner for 2, we were seated at the best table in the restaurant, right by the fireplace, with romantic table decorations. Delicious aperitif, great rose and AMAZING food! The new dishes are simply fantastic! It really doesn't get any better! Thank you very much for this wonderful evening September 2023 La Bodega was an amazing place to celebrate my birthday! The great location with the terrace, which was separated especially for us, gave the evening a particularly nice atmosphere. The food was excellent, every dish was a taste experience. The service was really great, attentive and friendly. What struck me as particularly positive was the more than fair calculation of the drinks. Here you really feel valued as a guest. A big thank you to the team for the unforgettable celebration!

From the outside, La Bodega in Dachau looks like a classic event catering establishment, so expectations were rather muted - BUT it exceeded our expectations on so many levels. When we arrived, we didn't have too high expectations due to the external appearance, which was a bit reminiscent of an event catering facility. But this impression was quickly revised – and how! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts are an absolute highlight: They have an enthusiasm and joie de vivre that is immediately infectious and makes the evening an experience. They guide you through the evening with a lot of charm and humor, so that you don't just feel like a guest, but like you are with friends. The food was simply fantastic. Every dish was lovingly prepared and tasted perfect. From the tapas to the main courses, everything was of excellent quality and allowed us to really taste the passion of the cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is the variety of dishes - everyone will find something here, and emphasis is placed on freshness and authenticity. The atmosphere at La Bodega also contributes significantly to making the evening unforgettable. The combination of good food, engaging hosts and an ambience that is both stylish and cozy ensures that you completely forget about time. We spent a wonderful evening with friends and laughed so much, enjoyed and simply lived in the moment. One thing is certain for us: La Bodega is more than just a restaurant – it is an experience. I usually always enjoyed going to La Bodega, even with friends, and we spent quite a bit of money there. Unfortunately, I had to have a very unpleasant experience there that made me never want to go there again. Zero customer friendliness, no good service, staff is not friendly and no good organization & communication at high capacity, downright rude & degrading treatment of customers. I am extremely disappointed. That's how I go to the competition and recommend it to friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances.

The food was delicious, the service friendly. However, no longer attentive after eating. We wanted to have another drink, but no one responded. It no longer has anything to do with the former Mexican flair. The music, the young guests, the ambience, everything was a bit “Arabic or Greek??” inspired? It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there. But it has changed...

On Saturday we were there to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We've been there before and everything was great, so we decided to go there for our birthday, but the service, wait staff, food and sophistication in this store impressed us once again.

Was there for a birthday last week. We had a section of the outdoor area reserved for us that was beautifully decorated. Fire bowl, lounge furniture and plenty of seating. Great service, the glass was never empty, great appetizers and a great quantity. Really had a good evening

Good Mexican restaurant with a great beer garden next door and a large meadow, ideal for children to let off steam. Located on the edge of the forest near the Amper, where you can go for a lovely walk. Very friendly staff.

The food was anything but Mexican having long beans instead of red beans in the burrito. Drinks were okay. But the price is not worth the quantity or quality.

Good food at a reasonable price

We were there yesterday and I found the local prices a bit strange. Steak according to the online menu was €23.90 and on site it was €27.90. Same game for children's and normal schnitzel. Here the dish was €2 more expensive. Maybe you should update the online map!?

We were there yesterday, unfortunately not as tasty and great as it used to be, portions have become smaller and not as delicious as it used to be, I was still so hungry afterwards 🤤, unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right, the drink is also served on Saved on alcohol, I had the feeling that there was no Prosecco in the Spritz, I was very disappointed. 😞

A great and large selection of dishes that doesn't make the choice easy. This time I chose the spicy burger and was not disappointed. From the juicy fried meat to the roll and the fries - very tasty. There is also a large selection of drinks. Super nice ambience in the middle of the countryside, but something in the outback of Dachau. Service very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back and would also like to try a few other delicacies from the menu. Price/performance overall is absolutely fair here.

The restaurant was very well attended. There were many large tables/celebration. Service was good. Food was also delicious, but the food only arrived after an hour. Maybe just got the wrong time.

I recently went to this restaurant with a group of friends and children and had a very disappointing experience. Even though we reserved a table for 6 adults and 4 children, we were seated directly under extremely loud music speakers. When we noticed space becoming available at another table, we asked to be moved there but were treated inappropriately. The situation got worse when the drinks arrived and they spilled completely all over two of our friends and their smartphones. When I jokingly asked the waiter if he had liability insurance, instead of apologizing, I received a rude response. There was no apology or compensation from the restaurant. Although the food overall was okay and filling, we found that the chicken wings we ordered were unexpectedly spicy for the kids. It seemed like they had accidentally been swapped. When we asked for a replacement, we only received four small, inadequate chicken nuggets instead, and we had to pay full price. In the end, the children were very disappointed and dissatisfied. Despite the potential this restaurant has given its location and food offerings, I cannot see a positive future for this place due to the poor customer service and lack of apologies.

I can only recommend this super store, especially in summer

Exciting location in Dachau. Something still happens after 10 p.m. Delicious food and drinks, super nice people there. We'll go there again, even if it's in a wheelchair and on a stretcher.

The food came quickly and was really delicious. There was a lot of chicken in our enchiladas and it was really tender too. The churros were delicious and not dry or super greasy. My companion's New York cheesecake was also nice and creamy. The atmosphere is very cozy. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around in the outdoor area. The service is attentive and quick

Very good value for money: you get decent portions for your money that taste good overall. Vegetarians and vegans will find what they are looking for on the menu, although not all dishes are labeled as such. In addition, the non-alcoholic cocktail selection, i.e. mocktails, is pleasing (which is urgently necessary given the location). Service was friendly and quick. I don't think the interior is that nice, but that has no impact on my overall rating because I don't expect every location in the world to take my subjective style preferences into account. More important are the taste and appearance of the food, an existing vegetarian and vegan menu, friendly service and hygiene. Definitely recommended to spend a nice evening.

Super nice location with parking spaces right in front of the house, amazing food and the service is always friendly and concerned about the well-being of its guests! There is Mexican food, highly recommended steaks, great salads and I would say there is something for every taste. We always enjoy coming here and spending a lovely evening as a couple or in a group, but you should reserve in advance to be sure of getting a place.

Really exceptionally good cuisine. Totally tasty and I have already tried almost the entire tapas menu. Plus very tasty daily specials that I tried last time. Nice, considerate and fast service. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

And a small deduction, a patient had made us an eggnog cake, which we brought with us and for that 2€ per plate was charged, I found a lot so far. Just awesome!!! The friendliness of the gentleman on the phone was outstanding for today! I ordered enchiladas and chili fries, as well as a MaiTai and a Caipi to go. The atmosphere in the restaurant with fire etc is really very nice! In summer you can also sit outside wonderfully. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted as if I had been a regular for 20 years! :-D You immediately feel super comfortable!! The cocktails were prepared in front of me with a little chat - they are really great!!! By no means too little alcohol, as you are used to in some bars in Munich. The food was also very good!! Really sufficient portions! I'm really thrilled and will definitely order and stop there more often. PS: The idea of ​​cocktails-to-go is really awesome!!! :-D :-D

Das mexikanische Restaurant in der Stadt. Es liegt direkt in einer abgelegenen Ecke hinter dem Stadtwald und direkt an der Amper. Somit eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist lecker und das Ambiente ist sowohl innen als auch außen im Biergarten äußerst ansprechend.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Alle Gäste und ich selbst waren super zufrieden und wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Bewirtung und Service waren überragend, das Essen, vor allem die Tapas, sehr lecker! Ob für Feierlichkeiten oder zum Abendessen: kann ich rundum empfehlen!

Ruhig, etwas abgelegene Lage an der Amper. Schöne Terrasse, man sitzt fast auf der Wiese. Service ok, „reservierte Tische“ wurden den ganzen Abend allerdings nicht besetzt. Speisen leider überwiegend Convenience-Food, aufgetaut und erhitzt/ frittiert, sehr einfach, typisch „Tex-Mex“. Getränke ebenfalls nicht der Rede wert, überwiegend Fertig-Mix-Getränke. Preise normal.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, lecker und schnell auf dem Tisch. Bedienungen waren aufmerksam und neben dem Lokal ist eine große Wiese für die Kinder zum spielen. Nur einen Spielplatz konnten wir nicht finden.
