Kurhaushotel Bad Salzhausen in Nidda

Rooms are really nice. Bathroom clean, breakfast very plentiful, something for everyone. Staff very friendly.

We went on a short trip and stayed there again to visit. As was the case last time, see below, we received a very friendly welcome again and, thanks to the staff from reception to kitchen, restaurant and bar, we received a great welcome and catered to our wishes. Can only recommend and praise the service. Stayed at the spa hotel in Bad Salzhausen for a few more days. Can only say the same again, that the hotel, the service and accommodation as well as the location and spa park leave nothing to be desired. Great accommodation, good food and friendly and helpful service. Would love to come back.

Rooms are showing their age, but they are clean

We stayed in the spa hotel for 3 nights in August. We were greeted smiling and very friendly at reception. We immediately felt at home. The entire service staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms are no longer the most modern, but they were clean and had a very nice new bathroom. Everything was available for breakfast, what was missing was some fresh fruit. If something was missing, it was immediately refilled or even brought to the table. As a hotel guest with half board, we had 2-3 menus to choose from, which were extensive and very good. And when the boss greets the guests every evening and politely asks if everything is OK and the food is ok. and sometimes helps with clearing up, we find this to be a great appreciation for us as hotel guests. The 50-hectare spa park surrounding the hotel invites you to linger and relax and there is a lot to see. We can highly recommend the Kurhaushotel. We cannot understand some of the criticism. Thanks to the Kurhaushotel for the hospitality and the pleasant days. We plan to come back next year, maybe in the spring.

Magnificent place located in a small thermal village, very nice!

A nice hotel in a very quiet location. The surrounding area invites you to take relaxing walks. The only drawback is that the food is served in portions that are not enough for a normal man.

Really a surprise in the small spa town… very nice spa park… Hotel is on the edge of the park… Spacious rooms, good service, very good value for money.

Conclusion for me: I would like to come back to Bad Salzhausen because the spa park is so beautiful. But definitely not in this hotel.

The rooms are spacious. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You were warmly welcomed at reception. I felt comfortable. Gladly again!

Good service. There is everything for a holiday with a family and a small child. It is very convenient with a stroller, since the elevator exits to the street. There is a large park nearby on both sides, so it is quiet at night, there is no noise from people and cars. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Large selection of breakfast. Very tasty food.

Great ambience. We went to the BBQ and really enjoyed the evening. Sitting on the beautiful terrace in the evening is a dream. We will be back.

20 minutes wait for service 😞 Only 3 different cakes to choose from. Iced coffee was with horrible spray cream. But we sat comfortably on the terrace and there were surprisingly few cars on the course road.

I can only rate the food there since we didn't stay overnight. In my opinion, the quality and the price level differ greatly from one another. I had to return my sirloin because it was cooked through even though it was ordered medium. The second delivery wasn't significantly better. There weren't any fries for the children because they were all apparently sold. Which I wouldn't expect for a house like that either. So we weren't all satisfied, even the other food was okay. However, I would also like to say that I received a free drink as a positive thing.

The spa hotel is located directly on the main street/Kurstrstraße, you can sit outside and receive hospitable service.

An older, stately hotel in a very quiet and beautiful area. You can park your car in a free parking lot next to the hotel. This is not closed at night (no fence or anything like that) but in this quiet rural area that is not a problem. Very friendly employees upon reception at the hotel. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. We had not booked half board so we ate a la carte in the restaurant in the evening. We could still have booked half board, but we had read that the restaurant has excellent cuisine. The food was also excellent but we had to wait quite a long time for it (45m). Possibly because the kitchen was set to the standard half board dishes that all other people ordered. I found the beds a bit hard, but I slept well. The decor in the hotel rooms is a bit dated but very clean and everything works. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stop if you like peace and quiet.

It was our first time in the spa hotel in Bad Salzhausen, the room was quite large as was the bathroom. The furnishings are a bit old but very clean and well maintained. The only thing we didn't like was the bed, but the service was for our little dog. The staff is very attentive and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was very rich and delicious. We can definitely recommend the hotel and would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Nice, clean hotel in a best and quiet location to relax and enjoy. Breakfast very good and extensive. The stay, not the first, was very pleasant. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Cyclists are also very welcome.

We spontaneously stayed at the Kurhaushotel Bad Salzhausen for the second time. Apart from the magical little spa town, the stay here at the hotel was just as positive as the first time. The staff was again very friendly and this time again pleasantly human in their dealings with us. From my last professional stay I can also report positively on the numerous and special seminar rooms. I personally prefer city hotels, especially the combination of conference rooms with good technology and a view of the countryside.

Spent two days here as part of a seminar. Very good hotel with nice single rooms in the annex. Conference atmosphere very good. The meals, here a buffet, were very good throughout and therefore a big compliment to the kitchen. You feel comfortable here.

We felt very comfortable. The location right next to the spa park is a dream. The bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere and the food is very tasty. The room was large and flooded with light. The furnishings are no longer modern, but they are tip-top and well maintained. A clear recommendation from us.

The furnishing style reminded me of a youth hostel. The bed creaked. Everything is totally old-fashioned. NO blackout curtains. However, the food was very tasty and the rooms were clean. The accommodation is in the middle of nowhere, if you like it, you're in great hands here.
