Always cozy, even if the kitchen has declined. Perhaps a new addition will bring change.

The cordon bleau was good, and the fries were really tasty. Unfortunately, the veal schnitzel was bland and had a strange texture. Very soft, as if it hadn't been cooked through. 🤔 But the side salad was very, very tasty! The service was also very friendly and attentive. We almost forgot to take photos, so we've already taken a bite! 🤭

First time there and very satisfied. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I haven't had a salad this tasty in a long time, and the rösti was also very good. We'll definitely be back.

Where do I begin? I've been ordering from this restaurant every now and then for a year. And I have to admit, the quality is getting worse and worse. I used to have very positive things to say about this restaurant. Now, less so. It's a real shame. While waiting for the food, I noticed a waiter not quickly washing wine glasses that weren't streak-free inside with water or putting them in the dishwasher. No, they just cleaned the inside with glass cleaner and then brought them to the guests. I thought that was a real shame. The salad dressing was better. The lettuce was dented in some places, so they didn't bother to sort out the lettuce leaves, which is a shame. The gravy had very little flavor; even someone could do better with a cooking mix.

Super friendly service. The food is always great, too. I recently had the rump steak, and it was better than at some so-called steakhouses. Dear chef at the Krone, can I get the recipe for the sauce? 😉. It's one of my wife's and my favorite restaurants for a reason. Keep up the good work!

It's clear that the service staff didn't act appropriately in this situation. The glasses were overfilled, and the coffee was sitting in the saucers. Furthermore, some dishes were forgotten (as in the case of the croquettes, which were only served after the meat had been eaten). The fries had a taste of old grease, and the direct use of "du" (formal) address was not in keeping with standard practice. This restaurant is absolutely NOT recommended.

A very well-kept restaurant with a very special charm. The outdoor seating is also inviting. There's a reasonably priced set menu every day, but only with meat. Vegetarian alternatives can also be chosen from the regular menu, which is available alongside the daily special. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the salad is also highly recommended. The portions were very generous, and the service was very friendly—a definite recommendation.

I ordered takeout from there today. And we were very disappointed. The meat in the Cordon Bleu had a bit of a sting and was rotten. Fries were OK, spaetzle were better. The cream sauce didn't live up to its name; bland, watery mush would have been more appropriate. The green salad was just mush; maybe they could have added the sauce. I'm a cook myself, and it can be done much better with less effort. I definitely won't be making it again.

WOW! After a strenuous hike, we were treated here in a delicious, friendly, quick, and uncomplicated manner. Very friendly and cheerful staff, spontaneous, uncomplicated, and flexible. Very accommodating. Thank you. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

The name of the restaurant really puts the crown on the gastronomic disaster. What I had to experience here is actually an impertinence to even charge money for such a meal! No trace of hospitality, unclean, long waiting times and staff who have no idea about service! There is not the slightest bit of truth about that!

No appropriate table available despite reservation. Waited more than 1 hour for food. Salad with lots of brown spots. Asparagus with potatoes and hollandaise was so unsightly that we had to send it back. All in all a gastronomic disaster.

No questions about cooking the meat, total overcooking result. Poor quality vegetables. Mostly reheated in the microwave. And the icing on the cake, despite a 3/4 empty terrace, 1:45 to be served a meal that was frankly not good.

Was eating here again after a long time... and unfortunately I have to say it was the last time! Price performance is absolutely no longer right and the salad was inedible, a shame... it used to be better!

The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and prompt. I really liked the rustic atmosphere and the large beer garden. The only small drawback is that the toilets are on the 1st floor.

Were back in the Krone for some time now. Until yesterday, we always enjoyed eating there often because of the good food. What we had on our plate yesterday was almost inedible. If a place serves food like that, I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. Service forgot sauce, forgot drink. All in all, not recommended at all!!!!!

The three of us spontaneously went out to eat here today. Everyone had cordon bleu, twice of veal with fries and salad and once of pork with salad. The salad tasted good but was rather carelessly prepared. The yogurt dressing was very tasty. Unfortunately, the veal cordon bleu was an absolute failure, the meat was completely streaked and tasted strangely like old pig. But we were able to let it go back and ordered a turkey schnitzel instead. Unfortunately, this was also from the Fritöse, but tasted much better. We were really looking forward to the food, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. I hope there will be a lot of improvement here, otherwise we wouldn't come anymore.

A very pleasant experience and a very tasty calf (kalb) “viener schnitzel”. Would recommend. Waitress was very nice to us and spoke really good english. The atmosphere is also very nice and appropriate for the region.

If there is a German restaurant we like to be here.

My father and I eat here once or twice a month and we are always treated kindly and the food is great. We never have to wait long for the food to come to the table. After we have eaten, the coffee is brought to the table almost without words. We are always very satisfied.

Price performance is absolutely not right. We had cheese spaetzle with fried onions and turkey slices with rösti. The food absolutely did not meet the standards of an inn/restaurant with good German cuisine. The cream sauce tasted like it was cooked in an old pan with old oil flavor. At the beginning the “clay plates” came on a wooden board, which smelled incredibly bad and spoiled your appetite once you were there. The mushrooms in the cream sauce were the pickled ones from the jar. That's not possible for the price! The fried onions were also ready from a shaker. When you go out to eat for this price you expect fresh ingredients! Very disappointing and a shame because the service and ambience were really great.

I ordered a mixed salad with turkey strips and mushrooms. Dried cucumber slices and peeled tomatoes for decoration, turkey strips not seasoned. In addition, an unappealing milk roll was halved and added. Services was, shuffling. Matched the impression. Toilet needs renovation.

Perfect food with super good service and a very pleasant environment for a good dinner.

Wir waren schon häufiger in der Krone und leider mangelt es immer mehr an Frische und Qualität. Doch unser letzter Besuch bleibt nun auch der letzte nachdem mir kurz nach dem Essen unwohl wurde und es mit schwerem Durchfall und Erbrechen endete. Gegessen hatte ich den Salat mit Pute und Champignons.

You wanted a place to eat, when asked you only got a rude answer, you reserved it, you didn't have time to answer because the waitress quickly left and casually said then you have to look for something. We then looked for another restaurant and found one that we will visit in the future.

After a wonderful walk in the beautiful surroundings, we stopped at the historic Krone. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly waitress. We enjoyed our tasty meal in the idyllic beer garden. We would love to come back 🙂.

The atmosphere is very nice, especially the beer garden is very inviting. The service is very friendly, but a bit overwhelmed, things we had ordered were forgotten. The food is inedible, and for the price it is a disgrace to put a ready-made Corden Bleu on your plate. You can't eat the spaetzle, it just doesn't taste like anything and the sauces that go with it are also ready-made sauces from the bag. We had steaks and they had no seasoning. The bruschetta was ok could have had more tomatoes on it. And maybe don't let the bread fry for so long that it turns black. You can't eat the chicken nuggets either, the only good thing was the fries. Unfortunately it was a total failure when it came to food. You're welcome to sit down and have a beer or an Aperol in a nice atmosphere.

I was traveling with friends and stopped at the Krone. The nice thing was that you could sit outside, but unfortunately the food wasn't what we wanted 😞

The crown in defense... an up and down, but as deep as now... an impudence. It used to be a decent and inexpensive restaurant. Unfortunately, since the new tenants, things have gotten worse and worse. Price performance no longer fits. It should be clear to everyone that fresh sauce cannot be made for the money, but if I still have the leftover powder on my plate, then that is unfortunately inadequate. The craftsmanship in the kitchen is like a gardener trying to play hairdresser. So I ask that you make room for someone who understands the craft and can implement it properly.

Vatertag - Feiertag 1. Auf der Terrasse wurden die Werbeschilder neu gestaltet am Feiertag!? 2. Der Salat war leider sehr dreckig - sehr schlecht/gar nicht geputzt! 3. Die Käsespätzle sehr fad, vergraben unter "Fertig-Röstzwiebeln" 4. Das Wiener Schnitzel sehr fettig 5. Die Preise setzen gute Qualität voraus, sehr enttäuschend!! Als Wehrer Bürger einmal ausprobiert - ein zweites Mal wird es nicht geben!

Visited here once on my motorbike on the way to vacation. Ate in a great garden and drank a delicious beer. Everything was great and very relaxed. If I lived nearby, I would love to be a guest more often!

I had rösti with sliced ​​meat, the meat was still bloody and the rösti were still half frozen and must have been warmed up in the sauce. Great service, great restaurant in the mountain lake restaurant but a latte macchiato with instant coffee is fine. With fresh coffee you will delight a lot more people. When I was there on January 7th, many people said that the coffee tasted bad.

das war schon mal wesentlich besser, putensteak trocken, kräuterbutter vom discounter und die pommes waren mini kleine stücke von der resterampe. bedienung war immerhin sehr nett. trotzdem das war für uns leider der letzte besuch.

Das Essen ist immer lecker, besonderes Augenmerk dabei auf die Röstis. Service ist hilfsbereit und freundlich, obwohl nicht jeder Deutsch oder Englisch spricht.

Insgesamt gut, ich war allerdings zum ersten Mal hier zum Essen mit der Familie. Ob die Krone dazu geeignet ist überlasse ich anderen, ich/wir wollten nur einen schönen Tag zusammen ausklingen öassen. Das Essen war Sehr gut, wir hatten uns alle die Käsespätzle bestellt. Das Ambiente.... puuuh... da scheidet sich der Geist. Grundsätzlich solide und rustikal bis schön, wird das Gesamtbild durch flackernden LED-Filamentbirnen über jedem Tisch enorm getrübt ich bin hier sehr empfindlich und mir fallen günstige LED sehr schnell auf. Mit einer einfachen Handykamera kann man das Phänomen sehr gut sichtbar machen. Ist meiner Meinung nach Philosophie, anderen Menschen ist das evtl. Egal. Ich selbst empfinde das flackern als sehr störende Wahrnehmung und lässt mich gar nicht richtig ankommen. Ausserdem wurden an dem Abend 3 bis 4 Lieder in Dauerschleife abgespielt, was nach ca 20 Minuten auffiel und letztendlich amüsant war. Aber das ist Kleinkram, kann man abstellen, die Bude war wegen Betriebsausflug oder ähnliches rappelvoll und somit ging es auch hektisch zu. Sollte also bestenfalls nicht das Tagesgeschäft widerspiegeln. Gerichte waren lecker und Preise gut, Die Auswahl übersichtlich und die Bedienung freundlich. Alles in allem lockere Gesamtatmosphäre,

Schönes Ambiente, wir sind draußen gesessen, es war sehr gemütlich mit dem indirekten Licht. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir sind nach unserre Radtour dort eingekehrt. Das tolle ist durchgehend warme Küche. Ist ja selten in Deutschland. Der Service war super nett und freundlich. Und das Essen klasse. Die Gartenwirtschaft ist sehr einladend. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Nach langer Zeit wieder mal hier gegessen. Immer noch so wunderbar wie eh und je Update 2022 Irgendwas wurde umgestellt oder hat sich in der Küche verändert. Die Salate sind weiterhin sehr gut. Aber das, was auch der Küche sonst so kommt, ist leider enttäuschend. ich war mit meiner Familie dort essen. Getränke haben so lange gedauert, dass wir mal vorsichtshalber nachgefragt haben, ob die noch kommen (Spoiler: sie kamen danach etwas später). Die Salate als Vorspeise bzw. als Hauptspeise waren auch sehr gut. Ich hatte eine Röstipfanne mit Schinken und Käse überbacken. Das der Schinken jetzt nicht unbedingt der Beste war, den es gibt, ist ja klar. Ich hätte auch mit einem Discounter Hinterschinken keine Probleme gehabt. Aber das, was ich bekommen habe, kam für mich eher wie Abschnitte und Reststücke (unterschiedliche Dicken, 1 - 8 mm) vor. Der Käse selber gehörte zu der Sorte, die beim abkühlen eine reifenähnlich Zähigkeit entwickeln. Bis ich irgendwie mitbekomme, dass sich wieder was getan hat, bleibe ich leider dem Haus fern.

Tolle Location und sehr nette Bedienungen. Essen kam flott, nicht ganz, wie bestellt- Fehler wurde aber direkt behoben.

Lokal mit Terrasse gut besucht und verschiedenen Tischen mit Zugang im freien aber trotzdem drinnen. Eine Besonderheit in Wehr und interessant im Sommer. Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Lokal ist sauber und gepflegt Das Essen ist von guter frischer Qualität, regional und der Jahreszeit angepasst.
