Okay, ich schreibe diese Bewertung als Amerikanerin, die noch nie in Deutschland war, aber schon mein ganzes Leben lang indisch isst, überall auf der Welt. Als wir an einem Wochentagabend im Restaurant ankamen, war es brechend voll. Eine sehr angenehme und gemütliche Atmosphäre, und es war schön zu sehen, wie viele Leute sie genossen. Wir bekamen einen hübschen Platz in einer Nische und ansprechende Speisekarten, die es auch auf Englisch und Polnisch gab. Meine Tochter und ich bestellten beide Chicken Tikka Masala. Ich war enttäuscht. Es schmeckte zwar gut, war aber überhaupt nicht authentisch. Chicken Tikka Masala sollte im Tandoor zubereitetes Hähnchen in Soße sein. Was wir bekamen, war eine heiße Platte, wie man sie für Fajitas verwendet, die brutzelte. Auf der gusseisernen Pfanne lag ein Bett aus Salat oder Kohl. (Was?!) Und Gurken und Tomaten? Es gab keine Schüssel mit Chicken Tikka Masala. Stattdessen lag auf dem Gemüse Hühnchen, das innen noch etwas roh und glasig war (aber nicht weiter schlimm, das passiert in einem vollen Restaurant schon mal). Es war aber definitiv nicht im Tandoor-Ofen zubereitet worden. Das Hühnchen war mit etwas Ähnlichem wie Tikka Masala vermischt, enthielt aber auch große Gemüsestücke, darunter Tomaten. Traditionell würde man dieses Gericht in einer Schüssel mit einer cremigen Soße und Stücken von Tandoori-Hühnchen servieren. Es gibt einen riesigen Geschmacksunterschied zwischen gegrilltem oder geschmortem Hühnchen und Hühnchen, das mit einer Gewürzmischung im Tandoor zubereitet wurde. Ich verstehe, dass wir in Deutschland waren, und vielleicht orientiert man sich dort an deutschen Erwartungen. Außerdem bekamen wir vor dem Essen einen sehr deutsch schmeckenden Salat, und das Naan sah normal aus. Es wurden vier Chutneys serviert, von denen ich keines jemals zuvor probiert hatte. Ich habe einen Großteil meines Lebens mit Menschen aus Indien verbracht. Es gibt nicht viel, was ich nicht schon einmal probiert habe. Nicht nur waren alle vier nicht indisch, einer schien orientalisch, zwei deutsch und einer war nicht zu identifizieren. Das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt, aber ich würde es nicht als indisch bezeichnen. Mein Fazit und Tipp: Wenn ihr eine tolle Atmosphäre mit einem Hauch von Exotik und leckeres Essen sucht, kommt hierher zum Abendessen! Wenn ihr aber indisches Essen wollt, sucht euch einen Imbisswagen mit einer einfachen Küche und Soßeneimern auf dem Boden, aus denen die Soße direkt an die Gäste serviert wird. Dort bekommt ihr den authentischen Geschmack, den ihr sucht. Trotzdem bin ich froh, dass wir da waren! 🥰

Ich bin aufgrund der Bewertungen hingegangen. Überall hieß es, es sei gut hier, aber das Gegenteil war der Fall. Das Essen war geschmacklos. Ich hatte Curry, und es schmeckte wie Gulasch mit indischen Gewürzen. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen, und für den Preis gibt es definitiv Besseres.

Mangolasi war perfekt. Das Hühnchen-Biryani bekommt 7 von 10 Punkten. Das Hühnchen-Korma bekommt 2 von 10 Punkten, da die Sauce nicht durchgegart war und eine gelatineartige Konsistenz hatte, die mir nicht gefiel. Die Saucen und der Salat waren gut.

Über viele Jahre hinweg einfach nur absolut fabelhaft. Bisher noch kein vergleichbares Indisches Restaurant gefunden.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, jedoch mangelt es dem Service an Kompetenz. Das Essen wurde vor unseren Augen abgeräumt ohne Nachfrage. Nach dem wir gebeten hatten, noch auf Essen zu dürfen, kamen wilde Anschuldigungen.

Es ist ein schönes Restaurant, wir waren jetzt schon zum dritten Mal mit einer großen Gruppe hier essen, es waren wieder einmal alle zufrieden mit dem Essen sowie dem Service. Das Essen ist sehr gut und macht auf jeden fall sehr satt, es ist Frisch zubereitet und auf jedenfall immer warm. Reis gibt es immer wieder neu auf Nachfrage, ohne Aufpreis, zum Gericht. Es gibt für jeden was zu finden. Besonders lecker fande ich neben dem Hauptgang auch das Eis was es als Nachspeise gegeben hat, es war vom Geschmack her sehr Natürlich und Fruchtig genauso wie die Menge war super und die Auffmachung des war ebenso sehr Ansprechend. Allem in allem ein Super aufenthalt. Gerne wieder.

Einmal und nie wieder - das war die schlechteste Restaurant-Erfahrung in ganz Görlitz (und ich weiß wovon ich spreche, denn ich gehe täglich Mittagessen)! Der Service war unter aller Sau: Am Anfang wurden wir mit einer aufgesetzten Nettigkeit reingelockt. Nachdem das Essen auf dem Tisch war, wurden wir auf unangenehme Art und Weise, fast schon aggressiv, aufgefordert das Restaurant schnellstmöglich zu verlassen, weil das nervige Staubsaugen uns wohl nicht genug aus der Ruhe gebracht hat. Der gesamte Besuch inkl. Vorspeise und Hauptgang hat 25 Minuten gedauert. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt, nicht in Deutschland und nicht im Ausland!! Dieser Vorfall ist schon Wochen her, aber wenn ich an diesen Besuch zurückdenke, wird mir heute noch schlecht!!

01/2026 Waren eingeladen zum Essen. Essen war gut , Service war bemüht 😉. Leider war es etwas kühl im Restaurant. Das lädt leider nicht zum verweilen ein.... Gegessen und ein warmes Lokal für den Abend gesucht...

Köstliches Essen. Große Portionen. Ich empfehle die Gerichte Nr. 42, 51 und 72 sowie den frisch gepressten Mangosaft. Beginnen Sie mit einer leckeren Vorspeise und runden Sie das Essen mit einem Glas Brandy ab.

Die Atmosphäre war anders als in indischen Restaurants, elegant, der Service sehr freundlich und erstklassig, und auch die Kleidung war elegant. Wir begannen mit einer Vorspeise aus einem kleinen Salat, zwei Linsenchips und einer Auswahl an Soßen – eher ungewöhnlich, aber eine angenehme Überraschung. Das Essen kam schnell und die Portionen waren großzügig. Der Geschmack war nur etwas weniger intensiv als in anderen Restaurants dieser Art, und wir haben schon einige besucht. Lecker, aber nicht ganz so, wie wir es gewohnt sind. Leider war das Naan-Brot kein richtiges Naan – es war zwar lecker, aber die Portion war nur ein Drittel so groß wie üblich. Positiv war, dass wir einen kleinen Donut dazu bekamen 😄 Ich weiß nicht, wie man das hier nennt. Insgesamt kann ich das Restaurant empfehlen. 🌟😊 Und vor allem war es nicht teuer; Reis oder Brot kosteten genauso viel wie Fleisch 👌🏽

Sehr zu empfehlen. Es schmeckt so wie es in der Karte steht. Trotz das das Krishna voll war,kamen die Getränke schnell. Und auch auf das Essen mussten wir nicht all zu lange warten. Ich hatte Hähnchen Jalfrezie.Das war scharf wie es in der Karte steht. Zum Abschluss habe ich noch ein Mango-Lassi getrunken.Einfach lecker 😋.

First time there today (around 11:30). It was already quite crowded. The food was delicious. From the lunch menu, I ordered the 226 > Chicken Biryani. It was piping hot and tasted great. I also had the Mango Lassi to drink. It was very tasty too. Not too sweet, nice and cold – it couldn't have been better. The staff were all very friendly, and the restaurant itself is very nice. My only criticism, or rather, something that bothered me, but only because I wasn't familiar with it/had never experienced it before (maybe it's normal there): I was there with a group of eight people. My food arrived last. That was perfectly fine, even though my food arrived long after the others. As a result, others at the table finished their meals earlier, and even though they were still eating, the staff were already clearing away the empty dishes of the others... (In the end, only my food and one other person's remained on the table). I found that a bit odd and it briefly confused me. In retrospect, it wasn't a big deal and perhaps understandable. Nevertheless, something I perceived as "negative".

I ate here last night and was rather disappointed. I ordered a salad and a main course, but also received dips with cheese bread as a starter and a small salad. The salad I ordered as a starter was almost entirely cheese. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered it, as it was essentially two very similar courses. The food tasted delicious, but there was a lot left over. I had the leftovers packed up to eat the next day. However, when I got home, I discovered that they had only packed three heads of broccoli – even though my plate was almost full. I found this really disappointing and annoying, as I had been looking forward to the rest of the meal. It's a shame, because the atmosphere was actually quite pleasant, but this experience has made me unlikely to return anytime soon.

We've been here several times and are always thrilled. Even when the restaurant is full, drinks arrive promptly. The food is delicious, and the little extras are a hit with everyone, regardless of age. We'll definitely be back.

Authentic cuisine, delicious and not spicy. We were here for lunch and had two main courses: vegetable biryani with mango sauce (rice dish with various vegetables and cashews) and paneer bhindi (raw cheese in a creamy sauce with vegetables). Both served with bathura. The service was friendly and quick. We were offered a vegetable juice shot at the beginning and end of the meal.

We ordered food for pickup, and everything was still hot when we got home. They even included bread and dips. The portions were very generous and extremely tasty. We'd be happy to go back. A fantastic place with Indian cuisine. The dishes are always fresh, the service is very friendly, and the wait time is short. The best choice you will make . The service is top notch !!! Loved the service ! We had dal makhni palak paneer chapathi and batura - never forget to have the chapathi , its very rare in many restaurants and its super . The Mango shake was ultimate . Definitely coming back when we are in town

Nice ambiance, but it was really hot inside – the air conditioning either wasn't working or wasn't there. The food was really delicious, especially the chicken korma, although the chicken could have been cooked a bit longer for my taste. You can get as much rice as you like – great! The lassi is also really good. A bit more expensive than other Indian restaurants (e.g., in Dresden), but the rice is unlimited. Overall, recommended – but maybe avoid on hot days, as it gets really stuffy inside.

Very good Indian restaurant in the center of Görlitz. Atmospheric decor. The restaurant has a so-called lunch menu, so you can eat a meal at very affordable prices between 11-14. The service is very nice. The restaurant is clean. The toilets are also well-kept. You can also taste Indian beer here. Soup no. 5 has a sensational taste. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to feel a bit of different, original flavors in a European place.

My girlfriend says it was the worst Indian food she ever had and I have no reason to dispute her on that because she is the specialist. From my side, the only thing I know is that my stomach hurt for 2 days. Besides, the loose hair on our plates did not really help 😀

Lunch business until 2 p.m. At 1:30 p.m. we were allowed to sit down to eat. At 2:20 p.m. the waiter came with the earring and wanted to clear away because they are open until 2 p.m.! We felt compelled to finish our meal. We've lost our appetite... Then they can't let people in!

Schnelle Bedienung, gute Auswahl an Speisen wir waren sehr zufrieden, Geschmack ist für europäische Gaumen angepasst. Ich habe persönlich 2-3 indische Gerichte vermisst, aber es gibt genug Alternativen. reservieren ist empfohlen.

We stopped by spontaneously and, despite not having a reservation, managed to get a table and were rewarded with a fantastic, hearty meal. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The food we ordered came with a delicious salad and a delicious bread chip on top. A delicious mango liqueur on top of the bill, what more could your heart want? We would love to come back. Thank you

If you are planning a visit to this Indian restaurant, it is definitely worth booking a table in advance, especially on weekends - a lesson I learned from my own experience. Due to the lack of seats, I had to order takeaway food, which turned out to be very satisfying. Soup number 5 is a real hit! I recommend it to all fans of hot spices - intense, aromatic and perfectly balanced. You can see that the kitchen cares about the authenticity of flavors. The service was polite and efficient, which additionally contributed to a positive impression, even though I did not have the opportunity to sit in the restaurant. The place itself is decorated very nicely, with a sense of the Indian atmosphere - you can feel the atmosphere that encourages you to come back. I will definitely try again, this time with a reservation!

We were there with family today. What is immediately noticeable is the friendly welcome on site. You can't walk past any employee without saying a friendly "Hello" or "Good day". Even during your stay, the service doesn't let up. Glasses are refilled, plates are cleared quickly and nothing is missing. The food was convincing! The taste was excellent, the quantity was appropriate and the side dishes were delicious. There was also a small, surprising starter salad and a mango liqueur on the bill. The ambience could have taken me a little more to India, but everything was clean, tidy and in good condition. All in all, I would definitely go to this restaurant again on my next stay in Görlitz!

Really great cozy Indian restaurant!! How were we welcomed on a Friday evening at 7.30 p.m.: "Oh, have you made a reservation, no - OK, we still have a little place back there, but the meal might take a while"! We were served in a friendly and very courteous manner, the drinks were on our table after about 10 minutes and the starter after another 15 minutes. It really wasn't very long and the main course was so delicious that we would have liked to have waited longer. But it was a pleasant time for us and the taste was heavenly. We had lamb and chicken, it was lovingly prepared and the ingredients were, as you could clearly tell, extremely natural! If you want to eat really well and comfortably at a fair price, you can stop here with peace of mind. Reservations on busy days are recommended. We are now regular customers!!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!! Edit: Even 3 years after our first one, you are still greeted with the same friendliness and delicious food. The prices are very, very good considering this time and you get the best food within many kilometers. Thank you!
