We stopped by spontaneously and, despite not having a reservation, managed to get a table and were rewarded with a fantastic, hearty meal. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The food we ordered came with a delicious salad and a delicious bread chip on top. A delicious mango liqueur on top of the bill, what more could your heart want? We would love to come back. Thank you

If you are planning a visit to this Indian restaurant, it is definitely worth booking a table in advance, especially on weekends - a lesson I learned from my own experience. Due to the lack of seats, I had to order takeaway food, which turned out to be very satisfying. Soup number 5 is a real hit! I recommend it to all fans of hot spices - intense, aromatic and perfectly balanced. You can see that the kitchen cares about the authenticity of flavors. The service was polite and efficient, which additionally contributed to a positive impression, even though I did not have the opportunity to sit in the restaurant. The place itself is decorated very nicely, with a sense of the Indian atmosphere - you can feel the atmosphere that encourages you to come back. I will definitely try again, this time with a reservation!

We were there with family today. What is immediately noticeable is the friendly welcome on site. You can't walk past any employee without saying a friendly "Hello" or "Good day". Even during your stay, the service doesn't let up. Glasses are refilled, plates are cleared quickly and nothing is missing. The food was convincing! The taste was excellent, the quantity was appropriate and the side dishes were delicious. There was also a small, surprising starter salad and a mango liqueur on the bill. The ambience could have taken me a little more to India, but everything was clean, tidy and in good condition. All in all, I would definitely go to this restaurant again on my next stay in Görlitz!

Really great cozy Indian restaurant!! How were we welcomed on a Friday evening at 7.30 p.m.: "Oh, have you made a reservation, no - OK, we still have a little place back there, but the meal might take a while"! We were served in a friendly and very courteous manner, the drinks were on our table after about 10 minutes and the starter after another 15 minutes. It really wasn't very long and the main course was so delicious that we would have liked to have waited longer. But it was a pleasant time for us and the taste was heavenly. We had lamb and chicken, it was lovingly prepared and the ingredients were, as you could clearly tell, extremely natural! If you want to eat really well and comfortably at a fair price, you can stop here with peace of mind. Reservations on busy days are recommended. We are now regular customers!!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!! Edit: Even 3 years after our first one, you are still greeted with the same friendliness and delicious food. The prices are very, very good considering this time and you get the best food within many kilometers. Thank you!

Very, very tasty food and, above all, portions that are enough for 2 people. The restaurant is great, they have really good bread as a starter with 4 sauces. All are incredibly flavorful. The main courses were great. I would say try it yourself, I would go there again and again.

The best Indian in town! If you want to eat really well and get something for your money, this is a great place for you. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The decor is rustic Indian and therefore has a great flair. It's the first address for us when we want to go out for dinner in the evening. There is also a lunch menu, for €12 per dish. All in all, highly recommended.

The staff is super friendly and will sometimes accommodate special requests :) For me the “extra cheese” is standard The food is great and it's cheap compared to others. We never had to wait long. Card payment is no problem, take-away orders are possible. I'll definitely go there again ;)

Compared to many Indian restaurants in Germany (especially in smaller cities), which for me are usually way too Germanized and pale in terms of seasoning, you get strong curries here, just as it should be. The prices are reasonable, especially at lunchtime, you can eat cheaply, the selection is large, and the service is always quick and attentive. No wonder the restaurant is always busy.

We ate here for the first time today and I have to say I was very surprised and satisfied! I'm not really a fan of Indian food, but I would be proven wrong today. Price performance very good Service really great. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is ok. The food is delicious. One of the waiters seemed a bit annoyed while his colleague was nice but was just running around. The location of our table wasn't great, we sat right at the kitchen door. This made it very loud and the waiters all kept running past us. In general you can say all in all it was ok.

Best Indian in Görlitz. Friendly staff with great service and good value for money. We really enjoy going there 🙂

It's the best restaurant in... all of Saxony if not all of Germany. I love good food and am a true foodie. Since I live in Berlin and have already gotten to know one or two good Indian restaurants, I can confidently say that the Krishna Restaurant is still the most brilliant even after so many years. I would also give 10 stars.

Since I like to eat Indian food, I first give it one star because of the anticipation. The remaining 3 are for the good food. Price/performance was completely ok. The restaurant is always full in the evening, I recommend ordering. One star stays at home because the staff seemed a little wooden. But that's complaining at a high level.

We often come here as a whole family. The food is very tasty, the portions are large (my wife didn't manage to finish it all :] ). On weekends you need to reserve a table as it is difficult to find a place in the evening

Viel Auswahl und recht angenehme Atmosphäre, liegt gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof im Zentrum.

Makellos, einfach nur lecker das essen, schönes Ambiente, Service is auch super und nett. Im großen und ganzen kann man einen schönen Abend mit Freunden und Familie genießen.

Essen wirklich gut! Preise nur aufgrund der Größe der Portionen angemessen, (wenn man denn die Portionen teilte). Sonst für 'Indisch' - krass zu teuer!Denn: Ambiente - etwas "abgeschabt". Der ganze "Palast", besonders die Toiletten, bedürfen einer alsbaldigen Renovierung. Etwas mehr Pep und vielleicht ein Lächeln stünde den Bedienenden gut. Das eigentliche Servieren läßt ebenfalls an gastronomischem Schliff noch einige Luft nach oben.

War Mal eine gute Gaststätte hat aber sehr nachgelassen man war noch nicht fertig mit dem Essen da wurden die Teller schon abgetragen ob wohl wenig besucht war. Wahrscheinlich nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Ich war dort mit meinen Freundinnen essen, die Atmosphäre war äußerst angenehm und das Personal überaus nett. Wir haben uns am Anfang für Butter Nann und Papadam entschieden, die mit vier Soßen serviert wurden, die eine rote Soße war für mich der Killer. Chicken Curry war nicht nur sehr lecker, sondern die Portion war auch genau richtig, um mich satt und zufrieden zu machen. Mein persönliches Highlight war der Masala Chai mit Honig – einfach köstlich! Die Speisekarte bietet eine Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten, sodass wirklich jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack finden kann. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes indisches Restaurant, das ich ohne Zweifel mit 5 Sternen bewerte. Mfg Susi ❤️

Der Inder hat uns positiv überrascht. Wir bekamen ohne Reservierung einen Tisch und erlebten einen tollen Service. Das Essen war wirklich Top. Zu den bestellten Gerichten gab es vorab noch einen kleinen Salat und Brot. Zu den Hauptgerichten gab es wieder Brot und drei Saucen.

Service echt einsame Spitze - danke dafür 😘 Die Speisen hausgemacht und mega lecker - dickes Kompliment an die Küche! 🤗 Das warf bei uns "neugierigen Leckermäulchen" einige spezielle Fragen auf, welche in der Darreichung einer Kostprobe der Grundprodukte Zuckerrohr und Tamerinde endete. Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Ich war in der letzten Zeit des Öfteren Gast in diesem Restaurant (auch heute) und bin immer sehr zufrieden. Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Vor einige Tagen haben wir hier herrlich und sehr reichhaltig gegessen. Die Gerichte hatten wir querbeet ausgewählt und konnten bei einander probieren. Alles war sehr lecker. Am Ende blieb noch einiges übrig, aber auf Durchreise mit kaum Kühl-Möglichkeiten war mitnehmen für uns nicht möglich. Die Bedienung sehr nett. Leider saßen wir an einem Tisch in hinterem Bereich, wo wir anfänglich ziemlich "außer-Blick" waren.

Einfach klasse. Absolut lecker. Alle freundlich.. Gerne wieder.

Wir gehen sehr oft dort essen, da es immer Schmeckt. Mittagessen kostet nur 7,00€.

Husband and I decided to get our food "to go" so I went in and was greeted by a nice man who didn't speak English, but got a younger staff member to wait on me. I ordered chicken curry, and chicken korma, and cheese naan. Easy. I paid and then since I had to wait for the food, ordered a small pils (which they gave me on the house, which was very nice). No wifi in restaurant. Got the food, went back to hotel. No cutlery or napkins included, so I walked back to restaurant to get those. I should have checked before...walked back to hotel. opened the food - didn't get cheese naan. got some other bland naan. The curry and korma maybe had 4 chunks of breast meat in each and LOADS of sauce. If you want sauce, this is your place. I was like, "where's the beef" (think Wendy's...lol). We were hungry and the sauce didn't suffice. The small pieces of chicken we had were tasty. Maybe you get more meat if you order in-house.

We enjoyed our biriyanis, mutton for me and vegetarian for my wife. The side sauces were tasty, especially the bowl of mango cream, an accompaniment of biriyani that I had not met before. All of the breads - papadam, garlic and butter naans, and puri - were expertly cooked and complemented the meal nicely. Cold draft beer, fast and friendly service, a fair price and an interior decor far above the Indian restaurant average rounded off a fine lunch. Any criticism? Our table was too small for two persons.

Jedyna restauracją hinduska w Gorlitz i okolicy.Dzieciakom smakowało dla mnie też ok choć nie jestem wielbicielem tej kuchni .Dobre miejsce dla amatorów carry i hinduskich smaków. Wybór dość duży, obsługa szybka i miła.
