Kreutzer's Restaurant in Regensburg

We've been there several times, but unfortunately the feeling that the service and everything surrounding it has deteriorated considerably. The dishes were not served together - with the salmon, a plate with the salmon arrived first, then after a few minutes the side dish of grilled vegetables, and after another wait the accompanying sauce. The burgers were even worse. The side dish was potato chips. There was no sauce whatsoever. We ordered ketchup twice, but it simply didn't arrive. The waiter explained that the ketchup was in the basement and it would take a while for someone to get it. The burgers themselves were good, but the presentation was very carelessly done, with no decorative lettuce leaf or anything, the burger was plain. I was really looking forward to a Fassona goulash, which I ordered - but after a few minutes I found out it was sold out. It should be noted that we were there at lunchtime, and one of the first guests to order was taken shortly after 12 noon. But the waiter explained to us that the three portions they still had were already sold out. We were really looking forward to a nice lunch and were unfortunately very disappointed.

We enjoyed excellent roast beef, cooked to order (unfortunately, this isn't always the case), with a delicious, "unboring" spinach side dish. The appetizer tartare was also delicious. Weather permitting, you can sit outside. A nice wine list.

Very tasty food and great service

A truly outstanding restaurant with exceptionally friendly service! As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed - jackets and coats are removed and you are escorted straight to the table. This immediately conveys a feeling of appreciation and hospitality. The food is first class! What's particularly impressive is that you can watch the steak being freshly prepared. The selection of steaks is large - everyone will find something to their taste. Of course, the prices are a bit higher, but that also fits with the overall experience: The atmosphere is modern and stylish, the service is professional and attentive - here you feel like the motto “The customer is king”. A visit to this restaurant is definitely something special and will be remembered. We would love to come back!

Business menu is a dream, the environment and service are also perfect. Steaks and the onion roast are highly recommended. Always happy to come to you.

Kreuzers is an upscale restaurant for good quality fish and meat. I had a burger with Wagyu beef. Unfortunately, there was too little bacon on the burger in my opinion and a cold tomato. The meat tasted great. I also think chips as a side dish is a bit inappropriate and could have done without. It would be better to serve it with a salad or fries, but greasy store-bought chips unfortunately make the dish worse than it actually is. The ambience unfortunately doesn't match that of an upscale restaurant. They put a lot of effort into the design but when you sit outside you notice it clearly. The service is courteous but unfortunately a bit too pushy for me.

A really nice restaurant with a great food and wine list. The tartare was mega! The beef fillet is also of top quality. A beautiful ambience rounded off by top attentive service.

Everything was of the finest quality, the service was very good and what was even better was that the food was really great, the meat is second to none, of course it has its price, but it is more than worth it, thank you for this great evening, my wife was wished a happy birthday, I also noted that wishes were fulfilled when I made the reservation, I was really impressed here 10 stars!!!!!

My partner invited me to Kreutzer's on the eve of my birthday. 😘 I have to recommend this restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent food and the staff was really nice. Semmy served us. He accompanied our evening excellently. 👏👏👏😀👍 The steaks were freshly prepared by Ben on the charcoal grill. Ben did it perfectly. 👏👏👏 The steak was on point and so tender. 😀👍 My partner had a salmon fillet. Just like the steak, it was made on a charcoal grill. This certainly wasn't our last visit to Kreutzer's. PS: Since I am a wheelchair user, I can totally recommend the restaurant. It is barrier-free. 😀👍👏

It was my first time eating something fancy and I felt very comfortable. After it was clear to the waiter that I was unfamiliar with the customs, he explained them to me. The food itself was excellent and definitely worth the price.

We had the meat trip for 4 people. The meat is very good and there was nothing wrong with it, but in my opinion it was still way too expensive for this price. The ambience is nice, but the area of ​​the restaurant is still a bit inappropriate for a more luxurious evening. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, but sometimes also very intrusive. The food also took a very long time to be served. All in all a good restaurant when it comes to meat and fish, but they also pay for it. In my opinion, value for money is very overpriced.

Why only 4 stars? The lady who greeted us rudely pointed out that we should have called because we came with one less person than was reserved. Their reasoning was that they ultimately had to use every space. Her tone was very inappropriate. Her look too. The rest of the staff was very friendly. Food was very tasty. Atmosphere appealing. Aperitif in a Christmas ball very nice idea and of course it was also very good. One waiter was particularly friendly, just himself, great. This colleague can take an example from that. Nevertheless we will come back.

Really very tasty meat and great service! I can highly recommend the mushrooms as a side dish, the artichokes not so much, good portion, but very mushy. All in all, a very nice and successful evening!

Just WOW! We had a Christmas party at the restaurant and it was amazing! The staff is always close by, the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is nice and dark, but still pleasantly bright! I would also generally recommend the restaurant because it was spacious, clean and high quality! Last night's experience was a complete success! 10 out of 10!

The Kreutzers in Regensburg is a real treat for all the senses. The service was impeccable - the staff were extremely friendly, attentive and professional. Although the mistake in the reservation was on our part and we had specified the number of people incorrectly, the fully occupied restaurant responded confidently and flexibly so that we were still able to experience a perfect evening. The food itself was excellent: the meat in particular was a dream - tender, aromatic and cooked to perfection. A culinary experience that we would be happy to repeat at any time. Five stars for this special restaurant!

I'm an absolute fan of kreutzers. It's the tastiest restaurant I've ever eaten at. The fillet is perfect, the carpaccio is so delicious and the dessert is a dream. The service is 1a. I can't expect more from a restaurant. Simply great, I don't have anything more to say about it!

Kreutzer’s in Regensburg offers fantastic food with flavors that really stand out! The menu is diverse, and everything we tried was delicious. The service was also exceptional—friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. However, the only downside was that on a public holiday, they closed the kitchen at 21:30, which felt a bit too early for the occasion. Still, a great dining experience overall and would definitely recommend!

Every now and then you treat yourself to a visit to Kreutzers and everything is always just right here! There is hardly any other place where you would be so happy to pay a little more to spend a perfect evening. Has nothing to do with the online meat retailer of the same name. Meat is not dry-aged and still commands an astronomical price. Service was good at first until we forgot our birthday card on the table. The map was A4 in size and was actually hard to miss. Back after 5 minutes and no one claims to have known. They were all soggy too.

We visited the restaurant to celebrate a birthday with a cozy dinner. That evening we had a birthday card (DIN A4) and a Kreutzer voucher, which we ordered online, printed out ourselves and made into a beautiful voucher card. When paying we gave the voucher so the barcode could be scanned. To our surprise, the waiter refused to return the voucher card. He justified this by saying that the card was needed for accounting. This made no sense to us as we had received the card online and the barcode could have been scanned from the email. When we complained about this, the manager returned the gift card crumpled and folded from her back pocket - so much for accounting! When leaving the restaurant, we accidentally left the birthday card behind because we were busy with our child. About 15 minutes later we noticed this and drove back to ask for the map. We were told the card was not found and was probably thrown away. It's unbelievable that everything there seems to be thrown away without asking first. The food itself wasn't that reasonable for the price either. The steak was good, but you can get better quality for a better price elsewhere (possibly even dry aged). The side dishes were also very greasy.

The reception and service were excellent. The drinks came quickly and our service was always attentive but never intrusive. Before the meal there is a classic baguette with butter and a high-quality oil. Everything tastes coordinated, fresh and really delicious. The steak was simply excellent and here too we proactively asked whether the degree of doneness was right (I had a rib eye - medium and it was on point). The side dishes were also fresh, hot and very tasty. The dessert and the digestif rounded off a wonderful evening. People are happy to pay a little more for quality, service and craftsmanship. I would love to come back and can only recommend this fantastic restaurant! A very nice evening with very good hosts :)

Steak reference in Regensburg. Never been disappointed!

The burger was still very well done and dry and the bun was crumbly. The specially ordered salad differed zero from the side dish on the plate, so you can see that the kitchen wasn't thinking. Food was ok, but... The cappuccino at the end was horrible! Please get a machine if you can't use the espresso machine... (but it's just such a show)

Service and ambience was impeccable. As a normal earner you can't eat there every weekend, but you should do it once. I'm extremely picky when it comes to meat and it was better than other restaurants but not the best I've ever eaten. As I said, you should see it and eat there once.

Kreutzers is definitely by far one of the best and most exclusive restaurants in Regensburg and the surrounding area. Everything is just right here. The service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive or anything like that. I've been here quite often now and tried different dishes, mainly steaks of course. These are grilled exactly as desired and are of excellent quality. The added herb butter is also an absolute taste experience. All side dishes are excellently seasoned and complement the taste experience of the steak. The starters are also very tasty and should definitely be tried. The restaurant also invites you to spend a cozy evening there after your meal. The cocktails and long drinks are excellent. The wine selection is also successful and has something for every taste. The prices are of course a little higher here, but this is reflected in every point and is definitely worth the money. Definitely worth a visit for people who value quality and taste.

Really nice location with a large window front overlooking the Regensburg. The selection of food & drinks is impressive. From bar food to vegetarian, everything is on offer here... and in top quality. Prices are a bit high, but the ratio is right. Very good service, you receive attentive and friendly care. Gladly again.

With a grill plate with a variety of cuts of meat for 6 people, everything had to be fried to the same cooking level. A big disappointment for a top steak restaurant. The meat was ordered medium as a group compromise and came out well, i.e. quite dry. A waste of sp good meat and 70€ p.p.

During my visit to Kreutzers in Regensburg, I was greeted by an impressive selection of high-quality meat dishes. The highlights of my meal were undoubtedly the Wagyu, Black Angus and Irish Hereford. Each of these meats was cooked to perfection, showcasing the unique flavor and quality of the meat. The Wagyu was buttery smooth with a rich, deep flavor that exceeded every expectation. The Black Angus impressed with its juicy, robust texture and an intense flavor that was further enhanced by the expert preparation. The Irish Hereford was also a delight, with lovely marbling and a distinct, delicate flavor. In addition to the excellent food, the service was attentive and professional, contributing to an overall pleasant experience. The ambience of the restaurant provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing evening.

A must on every visit to Regensburg. I can particularly recommend the steaks from the charcoal grill 👌🏼 On Friday, an antipasti plate is served with the steaks at lunch.

Das Kreutzer’s Restaurant ist eines meiner liebsten Restaurants in Regensburg, das Ambiente ist abends sehr gemütlich und man kann seinem Steak förmlich beim Zubereiten zusehen. Dazu ist das Essen ausgezeichnet und meines Erschtens nach von sehr hoher Qualität! Also ein klarer Tipp von mir!!!

Super Service, Sehr leckeres Essen

Das Essen kommt einem erst einmal etwas teuer vor, aber wenn man sich gewisse Dinge mal überlegt (Qualität des Fleisches, Service, Ambiente,...) dann ist der Preis auch gerechtfertigt. Ich find auch, dass es nicht ein "Jedermann's"-Restaurant ist, sondern man muss es schätzen und genießen können.

First visit, lucky choice, nice interior, great and friendly staff, superior meal and drink. Price was little bit higher but equal to quality. I hope there will be chance to visit them again. Pumpkin soup, Shrimps, Salmon and Black Orange Spritz.

Das Mittagsmenü war fantastisch. Unser Besuch im Kreutzer's war wie immer ein kulinarisches Erlebnis in einem angenehmen gehobenen Ambiente.

Geniales vom Grill bei absolutem Full House. Besser länger früh reservieren. Spitzenklasse auf bei den Beilagen.

Perfekte Steaks. Leider aber auch sehr teuer, aber dafür auch perfekt.

Sehr gutes und leckeres Essen! Beim Empfang werden einem direkt die Jacken abgenommen und an die Garderobe gebracht. Man bekommt auch Getränke aus Flaschen (wenn man möchte) immer wieder nachgeschenkt, wobei wir da lieber selber einschenken. Vorab gibt es Brot mit Butter und Öl. Die Gerichte + Beilagen sind auf den ersten Blick in die Karte recht teuer, aber ihr Geld wert. Das Fleisch und der Fisch werden auf Wunschstufe zubereitet und schmecken wirklich sehr gut! Die Beilagen kommen in extra Schüsseln und sind von der Menge her wirklich viel. An sich reichen definitiv 2 Beilagen, bei der Folienkartoffel auch schon fast nur diese als Beilage. Der Beilagensalat war auch sehr gut! Und den getrüffelten Kartoffelstampf kann ich allen Trüffeliebhabern empfehlen. Ein sehr gelungener und guter Abend. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: einmal wurde nachgeschenkt und dabei wurde etwas Wein auf dem Tisch und am Glas verschüttet, aber es wurde leider kein Tuch o.ä. Zum wegwischen gebracht. Und ich persönlich hatte mir die Limettenbutter zum Lachs eher wie eine Art Kräuterbutter vorgestellt und fand die „Sauce“ nicht so ganz passend.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Vorspeise, Hauptgericht, Nachspeise alles was sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jedem Fall wieder. Service 👌

Waren Gestern Abend beim Essen im Kreuzer. Was soll ich sagen das Essen der Service und das Ambiente waren ein Traum. Alles war perfekt. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste mal.
