Kreta in Minden

Hardly any service at the bowling alley, then the same thing later in the restaurant. We would have eaten more. But the food was great.

A huge compliment to the Krata team and the head chef, the food is and remains traditionally of a high standard. In my opinion, the best Greek in Minden and the surrounding area. Thank you for the hospitality and the great food. Always my pleasure.

The food was very tasty but the portions were quite small. We had a platter for two people and both of us weren't full afterwards, although my companion said she wasn't that hungry and asked if it was worth it for us. Service was very nice and asked at the right time whether we needed anything else (not too often that it was annoying but not too rarely that we died of thirst)

Unfortunately I can't rate anything because we were told at 9:15 p.m. that the kitchen would close at 9:30 p.m. and that's why there was nothing left to eat. I've had different experiences and we still got something.

Highly recommended. Food is very good. Whether gyros or pizza, there is something for everyone. The open pita is currently my favorite dish followed by gyro pizza. The service was very friendly. You can sit very well inside and outside. Children are also welcome here. If you don't want to go or can't go, you can also have something brought to you.

The appetizer platter is first class.

Food was tasty, portions a bit small. The price is cheaper compared to other local ones. 2x food and 2x drinks around €40 together. Unfortunately, it happened again that certain dishes could no longer be prepared that evening because the meat had already run out, and the popular Greek beer “Mythos” was also not in stock. Otherwise it was a cozy evening with delicious food at a good price.

The four of us had dinner in the evening, the service and staff, two ladies and a young man, tried very hard to serve us and all the other guests in a friendly manner and they were on the dot (the shop was very busy). The food still came quickly and was delicious Ordering was a long wait, we didn't think it was a big deal, it's holiday time, we'll be back and we had ouzo on the house, thanks for that

We celebrated a birthday in private at the bowling alley. Unfortunately, we were abruptly checked in at 10 p.m. and told that the restaurant was now closing. That was very unfortunate. It would have been nice if this had been communicated beforehand, as the opening times were also advertised differently. Payment only in CASH (you should definitely take this into account before your visit); not up to date anymore. Unfortunately, we were often forgotten by the service and were left with empty glasses. The food was okay, the price-performance ratio is ok here. The air and the ambience in the basement is also difficult, it quickly became very humid and stuffy, and it was impossible to ventilate. I would visit a different bowling alley next time.

After we had been sitting there for 30 minutes and then asked if we could order something to drink, someone came. Food was delicious. There were 8 of us there and it was inevitable that it would be a little louder. We laughed a lot and were then warned to be a little quieter. The other guests had already complained. It doesn't work at all.

Food was great... (big compliments to the chef) However, service is not... Completely overwhelmed and uncoordinated staff... In addition, the staff takes their mood out on the guests...

As always, the food was really great! But the service was once again very bad, slow and things were forgotten!

Went for dinner and then bowling 🎳, it was a nice and nice evening with colleagues.

The portions are adequate, as are the prices! The meat in the sauce was tender and delicious, I didn’t even have time to take a photo, we ate it all right away 😊

Probably the worst Greek food I have ever tasted. The Saganaki was obviously bought frozen as were the croquette potatoes. The octopus was barely recognisable as such, more like octopus mince meat. The tzatziki was truly awful, it tasted like it was made with mayonnaise instead of yoghurt and contained no mint, so was like garlic mayonnaise. The salad also had mayonnaise sauce pour over it. The Pork souvlaki was unbelievably tough and dry and stuck in my throat, probably pre cooked, stored in the fridge and reheated when ordered. The pork cutlet was slightly more tender than the souvlaki but for some reason again drizzled with some sort of salad cream and way too much salt, it was swimming in some kind of salty water at the bottom of the plate. The cutlet came with a 'Bearnaise sauce' that looked more like a prawn cocktail sauce being orangey pink in colour and tasted quite disgusting. Left alone outside after finishing our meal I went in search of a waitress to pay, I had to do this twice as they were busy chatting, after another 15 minutes the waitress came with the bill and pointed to a small sign on a wall in German saying basically, no credit debit cards, cash only. Fortunately we had some cash. If you think this food is nice you have clearly never been to Greece or had proper Greek food. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day at this place.

The food was super tasty 😋 and the portion size was great too. The price-performance ratio was justified. We will definitely come back ✌🏻 and the fact that we were able to bring the dog with us was great ☺️ I can only recommend the Restaurant Kreta 👍🏻

Always happy...everything here is convincing...we sat outside, were greeted warmly and had a delicious meal. 😋

Were at Kreta Essen on June 7th, 2024 with 12 people. I can only recommend. Price/performance is right👍👍 One minus, unfortunately you can't pay by card. But that shouldn't deter anyone from having a leisurely meal in Crete.

Delicious. Best tzatziki in Minden. The waitresses are super nice and courteous. For years it has been the number 1 place to go when it comes to Greek food.

You can eat really well here and the team is really friendly :) There is also a bowling alley that we use regularly! The ambience is okay, one or two things might need to be renewed! But overall it's really great.

We went bowling with food. Even though all efforts were promising, somehow the service staff couldn't get me out. The bowling alley and the room are already very, very old. The room is damp, you can already feel it in the air. The will is there, you try to get rid of it visually with an air purifier device, but it's no use if it's on malfunction all the time. The food was nothing that special. I know these are difficult times at the moment, but right now every customer is already thinking about where should I spend the money and should I go there again. Sorry we don't anymore.

Our regular Greek for years! We visit this restaurant at least twice a year with our family and each time we are amazed by the outstanding quality of the food. The rustic ambience gives the whole thing a cozy atmosphere, although the background noise is sometimes a bit louder - but that adds to the authentic flair. A special highlight is the existing bowling alley, which provides additional fun. We highly recommend this Greek place for anyone looking for top quality food and a fun evening!

A really classic Greek with gyros, ouzo plates and the like in a classic Greek ambience. With many regular guests and friendly service. But best of all: the dishes taste really good.

We were invited to a birthday party. There was a buffet and it was very tasty. There was no service because the host did not employ staff. Everything worked very well.

Wir hatten gestern die Kegelbahn für heute reserviert. Heute hingefahren, plötzlich hieß es 'die Kegelbahn ist besetzt' Nichtmal eine Entschuldung haben wir bekommen... Sehr schade.

Bestes griechisches Restaurant in Minden. Wir waren heute das erste Mal da und sind begeistert! Wir kennen etliche ähnliche Restaurants in Minden und Umgebung, aber dieses topt alle. Wir sind auch mit einigen Bauchschmerzen da hin gegangen, da es in letzter Zeit einige negative Bewertungen gab. Alle Sorgen wurden ausgeräumt! Essen: sehr zart. Gyros ohne Fett und Knorpel. Hatten wir bei anderen oft! Selbst die Pommes und Reis: sehr lecker! Salat :Top! Würde gerne das Rezept vom Dressing haben! Zaziki!: lecker! Bedienung :immer höflich und aufmerksam! Ambiente :gepflegt und nicht zu laut! So zum Schluss mein Fazit: Wenn Ihr von der Qualität des Essens so bleibt und auch nicht vom Service nachlässt, werdet Ihr auf jedenfall unser Stammgrieche👍 Freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal! P. S. :Wer hier was zu meckern hat sollte lieber zu Hause sich Pfannengyros machen!? Heute wieder da gewesen!? Top Top Top! Wie immer war es mal wieder sehr sehr lecker 😋 ,und die Damen waren auch wieder sehr nett und freundlich.

Ich war zum ersten Mal dort. Gute Küche, bei nettem und freundlichem Service. Die kretanischen Kartoffeln haben es mir angetan. Auch den Kreta-Teller kann ich empfehlen. Preis Leistung ist topp. Habe zwar zwischen 30 und 40 € pro Person angegeben, aber wir hatten auch fast alle eine Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und reichlich Getränke, da wir fast vier Stunden dort verweilt haben. Dieses Lokal werde ich mir definitiv für weitere Besuche merken. Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den schönen Abend vor Ort.

Sehr gutes Restaurant, mit gutem Essen und guten Service zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Hatten Familien essen im Lokal, von klein und und alt,alle haben passendes und leckeres bekommen, Bedingung wahr freutlich und kompetent!

Sehr nettes dezentes Ambiente und sehr freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Es kann zu etwas längeren Wartezeiten bis zum Servieren der Speisen kommen. Diese werden aber durch die Qualität der Speisen absolut aufgewogen. "Absolut empfehlenswert" !!!

Das Essen war echt der Hammer. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Immer wieder zu empfehlen Kreta forever ❤️

Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Nettes Personal.

Wir haben 2 Stunden aufs Essen gewartet, 20 Uhr bestellt und 22 Uhr unser essen bekommen! War uns als Gastgeber unseren Gästen gegenüber sehr unangenehm, gerade mit Kindern! Mehrmals Getränke bestellt, aber sie kamen nicht.Haben die Getränkebestellung dann schon selbst notiert und an der Theke abgegeben. Viel zu wenig Personal für so viele Gäste! Dann sollte man vielleicht überlegen ob man weniger Gäste annimmt wenn kein Personal da ist. Essen war okay!

Das Essen ist super, auch wenn die Preise mächtig angezogen wurden. Aber das 2023 keine Kartenzahlung angeboten wird, finde ich einen sehr schlechten Service. Wartezeiten am Tisch sind mittlerweile auch verbesserungswürdig!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit Biergarten. Das Essen ist gut portioniert und lecker. Preis/Leistung super. Chef und Bedienung sehr Nett. Der Punkt Abzug ist dafür das man, leider, nicht mit Karte zahlen kann. Ansonsten immer wieder gerne!
