I ate here this week, and the ayran was spoiled. It gave me an upset stomach and diarrhea. I wouldn't eat here again.

Best shop! I was hungry at 3 a.m., and it was the only one open for miles around. To my surprise, the quality was even decent. I got an Adana Dürüm that was so fresh, it looked like the animal had just been slaughtered. I was just 15 cents short when I paid. The man at the cash register kissed my forehead and said, "Yes, yes. Don't even bother!" This shop is amazing!

The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. My only complaint is the pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty at all. Far too greasy (not Pizza Hut greasy, because that's great), but inedibly greasy. Far too much cheese, and I love cheese. But this was really too much to make me sick. It actually gives me a stomach ache, and if anything, I'd choose something different next time, but not pizza.

This was our first time at this Turkish restaurant and we were very satisfied overall. The food was fresh and tasty. The falafel, in particular, were nicely crispy on the outside and not too dry on the inside, and the yogurt dip went well with it. The fries were also surprisingly good. The salad was fresh, with feta and a delicious dressing. The doner kebab was very generously topped, the meat well seasoned, and the bread pleasantly soft. The flatbread in the basket was also fresh and fluffy. Con: The waiter seemed ignorant of the type of meat used for the "doner meat." When I asked him further whether it was chicken, beef, etc., the waiter said steak, which confused me a bit. I then asked if it was beef, and he confirmed it was. Then I had to ask further whether it was 100% beef or some other blend. Only then did the waiter reveal that it was lamb. Conclusion: You have to know the dishes being served.

Update two years later: I've been here every now and then, but unfortunately, I find the quality has noticeably declined. There's no lemon squeeze in the kebab, no herbs, even though everything is ready. The meat from the rotisserie is often a bit tough. The service in the restaurant varies greatly: from fast and attentive to slow and sluggish. I'll leave the old review up, but I've found it unjustified for some time now, and I'm adjusting the stars accordingly. Overall, it's still good, but my initial enthusiasm has noticeably waned... Original review (5 stars at the time): In my opinion, by far (!) the best place for fast, Turkish food in Offenbach's Nordend district! A charcoal grill, a good selection of meats, fresh preparation, and attention to the little details that ultimately make all the difference (e.g., the squeeze of lemon; I'd love to add more herbs), a friendly and informal atmosphere: while waiting for your takeaway, you're sometimes offered a black tea. I'll definitely be back again, keep it up :)

An excellent Turkish restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the grilled dishes and appetizers – simply delicious! Everything was fresh and prepared with love. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant was clean and cozy. I highly recommend it and would gladly come back.

We were here recently and had Iskender. It was, without exaggeration, the best Iskender kebab I've ever eaten. Everything was absolutely perfect. The service and the chefs were all very friendly. I haven't had such a good Iskender kebab in Bavaria yet. If we're ever in Offenbach again, we'll definitely come back!

The quality deteriorated dramatically. The meat was tough, with fat and gristle. Which is disgusting enough, and then there were whole sticks of herbs. Unfortunately, never again.

The worst food I've ever eaten. Also, the chef said: not everyone has to like it, bye-bye. A person can only be so full of money and talk dirty. If you eat here again, I'll be a real dirty person.

The food was so delicious, fresh from the grill, wonderfully seasoned, and perfectly served. You can simply taste the quality and passion behind every dish. Everything was delicious. There was a salad as a starter and three meze. You also get tea at the end. The staff was very friendly.

Unfortunately, it was not the place I expected. I ate lamb skewers and was full, but 80 percent of it was salad. I'm not a nerd, I didn't like it after all. When I asked what was sweet, I was told they were out of it. The 5.50 euro dessert I bought was also terrible. Moreover, our waiter brother was at the service, he was very friendly and made our day better (!). In short, I do not recommend it.

I wanted to eat at Köz. I sat on a seat. The waiter walks past me here and there. I waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come to me, unfortunately it didn't work. I got up and ordered a kebab plate at the counter. The cook told me take it, your kebab plate is about to burst. After 20 minutes, nothing combed. After 35 minutes the waiter, who had been walking past me the whole time, came and asked me what do you want to order. I laughed and said I'd go liver. That was really a disgrace. Never again at a store like this.

You are lured with an offer sign “Doner kebab sandwich €7” and still have to pay the regular price of €9 because the offer only applies to chicken. However, this is not clear from the sign.

The meat wasn't grilled properly, and the portion I got wasn't worth €22, even at that price. I saw the waiter place the salad on my plate with his bare hands and then wipe it on his pants—no joke. Poor hygiene, and the food tastes absolutely nothing. Spend your money somewhere else.

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The food was inedible and led to health problems. The hygiene in the restaurant left a lot to be desired and the service was equally poor. I can only strongly advise against eating here - if you value health, you should avoid this place🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Seven of us ate here. The first impression was very good: a display case at the entrance with a great selection of different meats and vegetables, with the grill right next to it. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, some things didn't go quite right, possibly due to miscommunication; the service spoke very poor German and apparently didn't understand much either. Among other things, we ordered a vegetarian dish with fries on the side, and what arrived was a platter with various meat dishes, eggplant, and rice. Except for the eggplant, it was pretty much the exact opposite of what we ordered. On top of that, the eggplant was burnt and therefore inedible, and the lamb chops were overcooked and very dry. The salad had seen better days; fresh is different. The meat on the doner kebab plate, on the other hand, was very good, but the salad, unfortunately, was not fresh and very bland. Drinks come with straws, and they skimp on glasses. Ayran is served here in a plastic cup (at least it's still sealed), and glass only upon request. You pay at the exit after your meal, which has a bit of a snack-bar feel, as do the extremely thin and cheap napkins. Overall, disappointing; I won't be returning, which is a shame.

Unfortunately a big disappointment! We ate there as a team of 12 people, but the evening was anything but pleasant. My food came out wrong twice, and on the third try I just didn't feel like waiting anymore. A colleague even had to pay for dessert and two drinks that she never ordered or received. We found it particularly unfortunate that the restaurant showed no courtesy whatsoever - not even a small gesture of compensation or a meal on the house. That's not how you treat guests! For me it was definitely the last time.

The KÖZ Ocakbaşı in Offenbach is really an absolute highlight! Every time I eat there I am amazed and can't wait to come back. The menu is varied and really leaves nothing to be desired. For meat lovers, the selection of grilled dishes is very large. But the restaurant also offers great alternatives for those who eat less meat or avoid it completely. The lentil soup, for example, always tastes incredibly good. All the Turkish desserts you can try here are also incredible. My absolute favorite is the Sütlü Baklava (cold baklava). This dessert is a real taste explosion and for me a clear 10/10. The mezze also deserve high praise. They are fresh, varied and simply delicious. Another highlight is the homemade bread, which is always served warm and fresh. It's so delicious that you often end up eating it enough. The service is another big plus. The waiters are very friendly, attentive and always quick to help. No matter how busy the restaurant is, you will always receive prompt and courteous service. Even the interior of the restaurant is a real eye-catcher. The stylish atmosphere, combined with the open counter where you can watch the chefs preparing the meat, is also worth mentioning! All I can say about the central location of the KÖZ is: the cherry on the cake :-) I go to KÖZ Ocakbaşı regularly and will continue to do so in the future. Everything is just right here: from the quality of the food to the warm atmosphere to the excellent service. This restaurant is a place I can warmly recommend to everyone - it's definitely worth a visit!

I went to Köz Ocakbaşı for the first time yesterday around 1:00 p.m. and ordered a kebab with everything, some garlic sauce and an iced tea. In total I paid 12 euros and it was worth every euro and cent. The kebab was very good, the meat (steak) was of great quality and was seasoned really well, so it tasted really good and was very tender. The salad was just as good, as I said, I used everything, so in addition to the green lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers, also parsley, onions and red cabbage. The garlic sauce, in which you could also taste the fresh yoghurt, complemented everything perfectly. The choice of bread was also very well thought out, I ordered my kebab to take away and was able to eat it perfectly even after 10 minutes, without the bread being soggy and without much falling out/running out, which is unfortunately the case with many other kebabs has. One hundred percent recommendation, which is also very easy to reach from the Offenbach Ledermuseum S-Bahn stop. From there just follow the stairs up and you're there. The atmosphere is also nice, modern, simple and quite open in the kitchen area, so you can watch the food being prepared.

Unfriendly greeting, or rather a look from top to bottom and a nod. Menus felt thrown on the table. To order, the waiter simply stood there with a piece of paper and pen and took it without looking at us. Simply disinterested, casually chatting and laughing with his colleague. The food was okay, there's not much to say about it. During the meal we noticed how he was gossiping about the guests. I probably thought we didn't understand. All in all, I would never enter this restaurant again. The gentleman in service ruins everything, you don't feel welcome or comfortable.

We went there with my daughters, it was really so bad that I will never go there again. We order pide and pizza. The food was good but the glasses were dirty and the service was very bad. My daughter asked for tea and it didn't come.

First visit: Highly recommended. Food is great, service is very friendly. I'd love to come back... Second visit flop ….. which I fully expected to do. Similar time on weekends. The shop looked completely chaotic, service was similar to that of a normal kebab shop and totally unfriendly. Unfortunately, the food was also completely different... unpleasant burnt fat taste instead of the fine grill smoke aroma of the time. Bread soggy and salad watery. What a shame! It's totally ok to grab a kebab quickly after the club... otherwise there's no reason to go back. Conclusion: If the boss tries to achieve the Lokmann concept in Hamburg then there is still a lot of work... These are worlds in between.

I just ordered a kebab locally. The preparation was quick, which surprised me a bit. Arrived home (5 minutes) later, the kebab was completely cold. The flatbread was soggy and I don't think it was even warmed up briefly. I also thought the meat was only so semi. What bothered me the most was that the kebab was completely cold and the garlic sauce tasted somehow old, which destroyed the entire taste. So for a price of 10 euros I really don't know what that's about or how you can justify it. I just hope I don't get a stomach ache. That was the last time.

Tastiest lahmacun I've ever eaten

We ate here and were unfortunately disappointed. The dishes, especially the kebab and doner kebab, were far too oily, so we felt bad afterwards. We would like less oil to be used so that the dishes are lighter and more digestible. the amount of oil affected the enjoyment.

You only go twice - the first and last time. The service hardly speaks German; appropriate service. Wrong sauce for the kebab plate, the fries were soft, the meat was totally over salted, and of course the coleslaw I ordered was on the plate. Lamb chops tiny and uncut. And all of this at proud prices.

My visit to "Köz .. left an extremely disappointing impression. The employees seemed uninterested and unfriendly. I ordered a kebab that was so dry and heartless. I definitely don't recommend the store.

I haven't had food this dry in a long time. The Dürüm kebab had almost no sauce. The meat on the kebab plate was bland with a strange taste. Immediately stomach pain, flatulence and half the morning on the toilet today. The service is just as dry as the food and absolutely uninterested. Conclusion: walk 100 m further to Goetheplatz and go to Döneria Pizza. Sounds like. not appealing, but the food is fresh, tasty, cheaper and the service is better. The atmosphere is similar.

If you're looking for something delicious to eat late, you'll find it here. Even as a vegetarian. We were here after a concert and I had the vegetarian plate, my friend the lentil soup. Both were very tasty, the falafel was even homemade and very fluffy. The ayran was also homemade and super foamy. The service was very friendly and the prices were fair.
