I received a slightly incorrect order, but I was able to easily return it on site and received the correct items. Everything went very smoothly and in a very friendly manner!

I gave this döner a chance three times. Unfortunately, it was awful! It's worth taking the three stops to Konstablerwache station to get a decent döner. I wonder where the good reviews come from. It's strange that it's either 5 stars or 1 star. 👀

A doner kebab sandwich and a Cola for 12 euros seemed a bit expensive, but the service was good, the place was clean, and I'd say the doner kebab was average.

Adana Dürüm...absolutely delicious, well worth it if you're from Frankfurt and craving a dürüm in Offenbach. All ingredients are fresh, and the staff is attentive.

My experience at KÖZ Ocakbasi: At first glance, the restaurant might not seem particularly appealing, but don't let that fool you. Every single dish was a true explosion of flavor. From the open, freshly poured ayran to the mixed grill with various meats (see photos), everything was perfectly prepared, juicy, aromatic, and simply authentic. Add to that the side dishes like creamy yogurt, hummus, fresh salads, and grilled vegetables, and you really feel like you're eating in Turkey. And as the crowning glory: the tiramisu, which tasted like it came straight from Italy. What made the whole experience even more special was the background music. No matter what album was playing, the atmosphere was so warm and relaxed that you felt right at home. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

I ordered a doner kebab, and after paying, I was asked to wait to the side. This piqued my curiosity, so I watched closely what was happening behind the counter. The employee took a pre-packaged doner kebab out of a bag, put it in the toaster, and after about two minutes, he offered to hand it to me, which I gratefully accepted. Only after some discussion did he finally give me a fresh doner kebab. I paid €9 for a doner kebab; for that price, one can expect a minimum of respect and honesty!

The service was very friendly and polite. However, the food lacked flavor. I can't imagine it was due to the preparation, as the mixed grill and the dürüm looked good. It must be the seasoning or the quality of the ingredients, but the price was fair. The restrooms are in need of renovation.

After two days of bad food experiences, this restaurant completely blew us away. The meat pie was fantastic, the dough was perfect, and the taste was excellent. The grilled chicken was very juicy, with delicious grilled vegetables and fresh bread. The staff is very polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. At the end, we also got tea, which was a very nice gesture and left a special impression. We left the restaurant full and very satisfied. Big compliments to the chefs and the entire team. About a year after opening, things started to go downhill – both the quality of the food and the staff. The restaurant itself doesn't look as well-maintained or clean anymore. Back to the food. Sometimes it tastes good, but more often than not, it doesn't. This unpredictability has unfortunately become predictable. The worst experience happened recently when I ordered takeout around 10 pm. While I was waiting, an employee pressured me to give him my address, suggesting we meet up sometime. Presumptuous, intrusive, unprofessional, harassing, and sleazy! The doner dürüm was subpar. Would it have been any better if I had given him my address...?

If you want to eat good kebab in this area, I recommend you come to Köz Kebap. It's right across from you as soon as you exit the Ledermuseum metro station.

The doner meat was incredibly delicious, my first one in Offenbach. I've had so many doner kebabs in Berlin, but the ones in Berlin are awful – no real meat, just mass-produced (99% in all the shops in Berlin). Keep it up!

I would like to file a complaint about this restaurant. An employee insulted me and accused me of not having paid for the meal. I asked them to please check the security camera. The behavior was very rude and disrespectful. Furthermore, the bread was very dirty and unclean. I am very dissatisfied with this service.

Excellent food! We've been here several times now, just the two of us, and we're always extremely happy. The welcome and service are good, the food is also very good, the portions are generous, and everything is very fresh and delicious. Plus: They have plastic straws! :) We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely subpar doner kebab at an above-average price. I ordered the Berlin doner with cheese and vegetables for €10, but unfortunately, it arrived completely cold. I then received a replacement, which was only lukewarm, and the vegetables were cold. Furthermore, the bread was barely warmed, soggy, and torn. When I exchanged the doner and paid, there was no "we're sorry," and I was charged the full €1.50 for tea. It's a shame, because the place looks really good from the outside.

I was there last night. I've never been served anything like it in my life. The fries were frozen solid, or at least they tasted like it. The doner meat wasn't meat at all; it tasted like rubber and had a really strange texture. There were several of us, and none of us could eat it. Never again!

We spontaneously went there last night, just wanting a bite to eat. I would have liked to order soup, but they didn't have any garlic (tripe soup doesn't taste good without garlic!). These things happen, so I ordered a doner kebab, but they didn't have that either. So I ordered a chicken skewer on a plate, but the fries were refried, and instead of salad, there was only parsley. We also ordered a Mercimek soup, and only after asking three times did we get bread, which was inedibly stale. The waiter was a complete disaster; we had to fight for all our orders.

I've always kind of ignored the place, but last night (just before 10 p.m.) I spontaneously ordered a kebab with fries to go – absolutely fine for €14! The atmosphere is really nice, even though I was only there for a short time. My debit card was accidentally charged twice. I went back today, and the €14 was immediately refunded without discussion – with a sincere apology. No big deal, just fair and proper. Unfortunately, you don't experience that everywhere. While I was there, someone came in without money and asked if he could get something to eat. Instead of being sent away, they actually gave him something to eat. That really impressed me – you rarely see such humane behavior these days. Honest, decent people who work there. Highly recommended! 👍

I visit the restaurant often; the food is truly delicious, especially the grilled dishes. Props to the kitchen staff for their great work. The food didn't even arrive within 10 minutes of ordering. The service is rather mediocre. Recently, when paying, the waiter took the money, gave it to the cashier, said "just give him €10" in Turkish, and pocketed €2 more as a tip. VERY dishonorable behavior. The restrooms aren't exactly clean, and there were no paper towels to dry our hands with. If it weren't for the incident with the waiter who tried to make us look stupid, I would give it 4 stars, but unfortunately, only 2. Perhaps they should explain to the waiter again that he isn't the only one who speaks Turkish.

I ordered a kebab to go. When I ate it, I realized that the kebab meat was quite fatty and was even dripping from the bread, which I've only ever experienced with other kebabs with sauce. And it didn't taste like a kebab because of the fatty meat. Even my stomach started complaining afterward. I don't care what others say, but I've had better kebabs in Offenbach without the dripping fat, and they tasted good too. And for what was on it, it's not worth €9.00. Sorry.

It's a bit dirty here, and you have to call the waiter several times. As I've learned, the waiter, Yunus, doesn't meet my expectations. If I want something nice to eat, which isn't the case here at Köz, I'll avoid this dingy place in the future.

Hello Google world I was here today with my wife for the second time. We were very happy. Everything was wonderfully fresh, great service, and very good value for money. Please try the mixed grill plates for two for just €46. You definitely won't regret it. A superb Turkish-style restaurant.

Best shop! I was hungry at 3 a.m., and it was the only one open for miles around. To my surprise, the quality was even decent. I got an Adana Dürüm that was so fresh, it looked like the animal had just been slaughtered. I was just 15 cents short when I paid. The man at the cash register kissed my forehead and said, "Yes, yes. Don't even bother!" This shop is amazing!

The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. My only complaint is the pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty at all. Far too greasy (not Pizza Hut greasy, because that's great), but inedibly greasy. Far too much cheese, and I love cheese. But this was really too much to make me sick. It actually gives me a stomach ache, and if anything, I'd choose something different next time, but not pizza.

This was our first time at this Turkish restaurant and we were very satisfied overall. The food was fresh and tasty. The falafel, in particular, were nicely crispy on the outside and not too dry on the inside, and the yogurt dip went well with it. The fries were also surprisingly good. The salad was fresh, with feta and a delicious dressing. The doner kebab was very generously topped, the meat well seasoned, and the bread pleasantly soft. The flatbread in the basket was also fresh and fluffy. Con: The waiter seemed ignorant of the type of meat used for the "doner meat." When I asked him further whether it was chicken, beef, etc., the waiter said steak, which confused me a bit. I then asked if it was beef, and he confirmed it was. Then I had to ask further whether it was 100% beef or some other blend. Only then did the waiter reveal that it was lamb. Conclusion: You have to know the dishes being served.

Update two years later: I've been here every now and then, but unfortunately, I find the quality has noticeably declined. There's no lemon squeeze in the kebab, no herbs, even though everything is ready. The meat from the rotisserie is often a bit tough. The service in the restaurant varies greatly: from fast and attentive to slow and sluggish. I'll leave the old review up, but I've found it unjustified for some time now, and I'm adjusting the stars accordingly. Overall, it's still good, but my initial enthusiasm has noticeably waned... Original review (5 stars at the time): In my opinion, by far (!) the best place for fast, Turkish food in Offenbach's Nordend district! A charcoal grill, a good selection of meats, fresh preparation, and attention to the little details that ultimately make all the difference (e.g., the squeeze of lemon; I'd love to add more herbs), a friendly and informal atmosphere: while waiting for your takeaway, you're sometimes offered a black tea. I'll definitely be back again, keep it up :)

We were here recently and had Iskender. It was, without exaggeration, the best Iskender kebab I've ever eaten. Everything was absolutely perfect. The service and the chefs were all very friendly. I haven't had such a good Iskender kebab in Bavaria yet. If we're ever in Offenbach again, we'll definitely come back!

The quality deteriorated dramatically. The meat was tough, with fat and gristle. Which is disgusting enough, and then there were whole sticks of herbs. Unfortunately, never again.

Unfortunately, it was not the place I expected. I ate lamb skewers and was full, but 80 percent of it was salad. I'm not a nerd, I didn't like it after all. When I asked what was sweet, I was told they were out of it. The 5.50 euro dessert I bought was also terrible. Moreover, our waiter brother was at the service, he was very friendly and made our day better (!). In short, I do not recommend it.

I wanted to eat at Köz. I sat on a seat. The waiter walks past me here and there. I waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come to me, unfortunately it didn't work. I got up and ordered a kebab plate at the counter. The cook told me take it, your kebab plate is about to burst. After 20 minutes, nothing combed. After 35 minutes the waiter, who had been walking past me the whole time, came and asked me what do you want to order. I laughed and said I'd go liver. That was really a disgrace. Never again at a store like this.

You are lured with an offer sign “Doner kebab sandwich €7” and still have to pay the regular price of €9 because the offer only applies to chicken. However, this is not clear from the sign.

The meat wasn't grilled properly, and the portion I got wasn't worth €22, even at that price. I saw the waiter place the salad on my plate with his bare hands and then wipe it on his pants—no joke. Poor hygiene, and the food tastes absolutely nothing. Spend your money somewhere else.

Seven of us ate here. The first impression was very good: a display case at the entrance with a great selection of different meats and vegetables, with the grill right next to it. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, some things didn't go quite right, possibly due to miscommunication; the service spoke very poor German and apparently didn't understand much either. Among other things, we ordered a vegetarian dish with fries on the side, and what arrived was a platter with various meat dishes, eggplant, and rice. Except for the eggplant, it was pretty much the exact opposite of what we ordered. On top of that, the eggplant was burnt and therefore inedible, and the lamb chops were overcooked and very dry. The salad had seen better days; fresh is different. The meat on the doner kebab plate, on the other hand, was very good, but the salad, unfortunately, was not fresh and very bland. Drinks come with straws, and they skimp on glasses. Ayran is served here in a plastic cup (at least it's still sealed), and glass only upon request. You pay at the exit after your meal, which has a bit of a snack-bar feel, as do the extremely thin and cheap napkins. Overall, disappointing; I won't be returning, which is a shame.
