Just an all around great experience. Went here with a group of 8 people, and even though we only reserved for 6, everything was done to make it work :) best, loveliest service.

Food was excellent, service first class. I recommend dessert and tea to round it off. Authentic Egyptian cuisine. Unique in Munich.

Absolutely delicious place to grab a healthy vegan bowl right next to the English Garden. They were open on a Sunday which was rare in the area, the prices were super reasonable for the portion sizes, and they did have some great desserts as well. The best picnic place around!!

Super tasty and great service! We have had the Koshari and the Ful bel Tahin several times and it is always very, very delicious! Today I had Egyptian coffee for the first time, which was also very tasty. We also had a drink made from hibiscus, which was also great. The food was brought to us very, very quickly and the portions were also very filling. If you don't make it, you can take the rest home with you without any problems. Thanks for the delicious food. 😊 Reservations directly via Google Maps also worked great :)

An absolute insider tip and must-try in Munich! At first you may be confused by the unusual sounding dish, but it is so incredibly delicious.

The best Koshari in Germany, Koshari is a local vegans Egyptian dish. The owner of the restaurant is very nice and friendly and the food is amazing and the portions are really big. So think before ordering the large size 😄 also don’t forget to try the Egyptian drinks there

Very cozy restaurant with authentic Egyptian food! I have been missing the taste of home, so this is definitely a hidden gem for all Egyptians in Munich:) the food was great and the portions are quite generous, so you will get full here. The owner also let us taste some of the new and incredibly tasty items hopefully coming on the menu soon, so we will for sure be back soon ❤️🤗 highly recommend for vegans and meat eaters alike!

We had never eaten Egyptian before - and were given helpful and polite advice about what dishes we could try (and how to season them at the table). Thanks for that. That was really great! We chose the Koshari (vegan) and Chicken Tajin. Both dishes motivated us to take a closer look at Egyptian cuisine in the future, because they were really good! The shop is very small and has the charm of a mediocre kebab shop - which is, however, very misleading considering how excellent the food actually was. And at really humane prices. If you want to broaden your horizons, you should definitely stop by here!

Reserved a table and was on time. Didn't get a table. We were offered 3 bar stools at the windowsill where three of us couldn't fit. Then we were offered to sit outside (in the pouring rain 🙉), when we were asked how long we would have to wait, the answer was "yes, should I press a button and the rain will stop?". Friendliness nil. Guests are apparently not taken seriously. Then the suggestion came “I can cancel your reservation” What??? We left, so can't rate the food. Would have given 0/10 stars if it were possible here.

Authentic. Delicious. Hearty and generous. A lovely little Egyptian find to our exploration of the park. The koshary was so delicious - every morsel bite is a clash of civilisations centuries in the making. The interplay of acidic and spiciness mixed with such crunchy texture was just delicious. Inspired me to go to Cairo now just to have more of this dish at the source.

I have never had such a diverse meal- rice, pasta, chickpeas, lentils AND 3 different types of sauce!!! I would say that is pretty wild but you know what? I love being a little crazy sometimes ;) I recommend this place if you are feeling adventurous and extremely hungry

As I had an error with my Google account, I was not able to share the fantastic experience I had at Koshari Ahl Kairo yet, but now is the time. My experience was 10/10 and beyond amazing. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all fantastic and service was super friendly. I had several great visits to Koshari Ahl Kairo but the last one topped them all. I wanted to make a reservation with a group of friends (15 Persons) and the owner (Younes) went above and beyond to accommodate us and we had an amazing time. Even the delivery option (for example with Uber Eats) is without fault. Thank you for all you do and looking forward to many more visits!

I went to Koshari Ahl Cairo for lunch with a friend. The service staff was very attentive and above-average nice. It didn't seem 100% authentic, but that's not a bad thing - it's better that way than the other way around. We felt comfortable and the food was surprisingly very tasty. We'd love to come back. Mini minus point: If you sit inside, your clothes will smell like food.

The food there is incredibly good, we were completely impressed! There is a great selection there, especially for vegans! The falafel and appetizers are all highly recommended! And what we liked best was the vegan bowl there! Such special ingredients, well seasoned and you can taste that everything is fresh and made with love! Highly recommended

The food was very good and the menu had lots of options for vegans and vegetarians! It tasted really great too. In addition to Cola, Spezi, etc., the drinks selection also includes drinks that you can buy in Egypt, which was very nice.

It's a nice alternative to try different authentic flavors in Munich, the products were good and what's even better is that even though there was a small problem with the order, the business immediately took care of it and kindly offered a solution! It's worth trying again.

Delicious food and impeccable service. I had the koshari classic (small) and for a moment I thought I ordered the big from how generous the portion was! I also tried the Fayrouz drink that the owner suggested and it was amazing! (Ps the koshari looks a bit messy cause I took the pic after adding the vinegar (dakka) and chili, which added so much flavor!)

Great First Time Original Egyptian Food and Drinks in Central Munich

Very nice staff, nice atmosphere, and well air-conditioned for the summer. There is also the option to sit outside, which is ideal when the weather is pleasant. The food is very tasty and authentic, and the portions are generous. I especially recommend it for students - and then a little rice pudding as dessert.

Unfortunately I have to put it so radically; I don't know how this store managed to get such good reviews. I have a suspicion but it's better not to express it :) Person number 1 in our group got his order 15 minutes earlier than us and was already ready when our food came. About the food: the Koshari Classic was a collection of overcooked carbohydrate sources without any seasoning and was very poorly crafted. All ingredients came from warming containers, which may explain the overcooked consistency. Only cash payment was possible, even though all card providers were listed on the outside of the store. The service employee tried very hard, but unfortunately he couldn't speak any German and was completely overwhelmed. The Uber delivery person who wanted to pick up his food at the same time as us had to wait 20 minutes before he was noticed (the order was left open on the work surface for so long and got cold). Maybe we were unlucky with the dish we chose, but the fact that the “Classic Dish” was so bad really disappointed. (Falafel sandwich is quite good). Objectively speaking, the price/performance ratio is really extremely cheeky (large portion 14€) given that the Koshari Classic ultimately gives you pasta with unseasoned tomato sauce and fried onions 😭
