Koshari Ahl Kairo in München

Service was very nice, but the price was a bit too high. There were also a few herbs in there that I didn't like. But overall it tasted good and I'll get some again.

I recently went to Koshari AHL Cairo and tried the Tameja Wrap, the Koshari Classic and the Mesa - it was incredibly delicious! The koshari was perfectly seasoned and the mesa was a real treat. I would particularly like to emphasize the super friendly service. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. A clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates delicious, freshly prepared food and great service!

I was here to try a typical famous Egyptian dish. Koshari comes in many different variations - the base is always the same: rice, two types of pasta, lentils and chickpeas. There are also fried onions. A tomato sauce balances the dish well and ensures that it is not too dry. Absolute comfort food that keeps you full for a long time and is very interesting thanks to the different textures. The service was extremely nice and spoke not only German and English, but also Arabic. Recommended!

Small snack bar with unfortunately only a few seating options inside. The food tastes very tasty and is absolutely recommended for vegans and vegetarians! But please take the Coca Cola drinks out of the range, you offer enough alternatives that fit the concept better and are authentic!🍉☺️ Maybe a seat will also fit in if one of the refrigerators is omitted.

Today I visited Koshari Ahl Cairo for the first time with a friend...we had super friendly service! I had koshari Classic "Large" with an Egyptian tea and at the end an Egyptian rice pudding. Everything was perfect and definitely recommended and worth a visit!

I have rarely seen such attentive, friendly and very nice staff! I don't know who doesn't feel comfortable here, as the atmosphere is small but extremely cozy.❤️❤️ The food didn't take too long and was exceptionally very, very tasty and beautifully and freshly prepared. The prices are also more than justified, as some of the portions are really decent. I mean, where can you get such large portions for under €20 these days?!🤷🏽‍♀️ I would like to thank this restaurant very much and especially the courteous Mr. Younes who served us warmly.❤️ If we didn't live so far away we would definitely come here more often as it can only be recommended. Simply great👌🏽❤️

I absolutely loved my visit to Koshari Ahl Cairo! The authentic flavors and the careful preparation of the dishes really enchanted me. The Koshari in particular was a taste experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. If you want to experience Egyptian cuisine at its best, this is the place for you. Five stars are absolutely deserved, I'll definitely be back!

It's more of a counter than a restaurant, seats are limited so it's better to make a reservation if you want to eat there. The food is excellent and the person at the counter took the time to explain to us how to enjoy our traditional dish. We will go back!

We've been wanting to eat authentic Egyptian food for a long time, which we were finally able to do in the form of an excellent koshari and other delicacies. The ambience is pleasant and fits well for a fast food bistro, the outdoor area is cute. The service was also great! We'll definitely be back.

A nice spot to experience traditional Egyptian food. While it might not fully compare to the famous Eltahrir Koshari in Egypt, it’s a good place to try something different and enjoy the unique flavors of Egypt. If you're curious about trying Koshari and are in the area, it’s worth giving it a chance.

Absolutely delicious place to grab a healthy vegan bowl right next to the English Garden. They were open on a Sunday which was rare in the area, the prices were super reasonable for the portion sizes, and they did have some great desserts as well. The best picnic place around!!

Super tasty and great service! We have had the Koshari and the Ful bel Tahin several times and it is always very, very delicious! Today I had Egyptian coffee for the first time, which was also very tasty. We also had a drink made from hibiscus, which was also great. The food was brought to us very, very quickly and the portions were also very filling. If you don't make it, you can take the rest home with you without any problems. Thanks for the delicious food. 😊 Reservations directly via Google Maps also worked great :)

The best Koshari in Germany, Koshari is a local vegans Egyptian dish. The owner of the restaurant is very nice and friendly and the food is amazing and the portions are really big. So think before ordering the large size 😄 also don’t forget to try the Egyptian drinks there

I have been missing the taste of home, so this is definitely a hidden gem for all Egyptians in Munich:) the food was great and the portions are quite generous, so you will get full here. The owner also let us taste some of the new and incredibly tasty items hopefully coming on the menu soon, so we will for sure be back soon ❤️🤗 highly recommend for vegans and meat eaters alike!

We had never eaten Egyptian before - and were given helpful and polite advice about what dishes we could try (and how to season them at the table). Thanks for that. That was really great! We chose the Koshari (vegan) and Chicken Tajin. Both dishes motivated us to take a closer look at Egyptian cuisine in the future, because they were really good! The shop is very small and has the charm of a mediocre kebab shop - which is, however, very misleading considering how excellent the food actually was. And at really humane prices. If you want to broaden your horizons, you should definitely stop by here!

Reserved a table and was on time. Didn't get a table. We were offered 3 bar stools at the windowsill where three of us couldn't fit. Then we were offered to sit outside (in the pouring rain 🙉), when we were asked how long we would have to wait, the answer was "yes, should I press a button and the rain will stop?". Friendliness nil. Guests are apparently not taken seriously. Then the suggestion came “I can cancel your reservation” What??? We left, so can't rate the food. Would have given 0/10 stars if it were possible here.

The koshary was so delicious - every morsel bite is a clash of civilisations centuries in the making. The interplay of acidic and spiciness mixed with such crunchy texture was just delicious.
