Koshari Ahl Kairo in München

I've ordered from there several times and have always been very satisfied. The dishes taste excellent and the portions are quite generous. It's not uncommon to only get small portions – not here! You'll be truly full. And at a fair price. Highly recommended!

The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, there's no comfortable seating there. The food was extremely disappointing, lacking in flavor and greasy. Unfortunately, we couldn't understand the extremely positive reviews at all.

While searching for a delicious lunch, we spontaneously landed here. We'd never had Egyptian food before and just wanted to try it. It was a great decision, as it was a new and delicious experience! The staff was super friendly and explained everything to us. If we ever come back to Munich, we definitely want to try koshari again 🤩

Because of the good reviews, we reserved a table in the restaurant online that evening. When we arrived, we found a small snack bar. There was only one tiny table and 2 high tables. Koshari wasn't good, mostly rice and noodles, lukewarm. Egyptian beans were OK, pureed eggplant was good. Ambience not nice, uncomfortable, just a snack bar. There are also no toilets, which is a no go for a "restaurant". We were in the restaurant for 45 minutes including the order. Price/performance is definitely not right (cup of mint tea e.g. 5 euros). Only cash payment possible. Overall, no recommendation.

They gave me food with meat, I've been a vegetarian for five years. No discount, no nothing and only a measley unserious apology.

We have only ordered via Wolt from here and delivery is absolutely okay. The food portions are huge and fresh. As a vegetarian, I love their Koshari and all the starters. Beautiful flavours ! I recommend this authentic place with my whole heart.

I had the Koshari Classic (small portion - very enough for me) and it was amazing! The additional seasoning sauce made it better again, but the combination with the lentils, chickpeas and the special tomato sauce was simply delicious! Very nice shop! TOP! Little tip: the pineapple lemonade 😍🍍

Service was very nice, but the price was a bit too high. There were also a few herbs in there that I didn't like. But overall it tasted good and I'll get some again.

I recently went to Koshari AHL Cairo and tried the Tameja Wrap, the Koshari Classic and the Mesa - it was incredibly delicious! The koshari was perfectly seasoned and the mesa was a real treat. I would particularly like to emphasize the super friendly service. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. A clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates delicious, freshly prepared food and great service!

I was here to try a typical famous Egyptian dish. Koshari comes in many different variations - the base is always the same: rice, two types of pasta, lentils and chickpeas. There are also fried onions. A tomato sauce balances the dish well and ensures that it is not too dry. Absolute comfort food that keeps you full for a long time and is very interesting thanks to the different textures. The service was extremely nice and spoke not only German and English, but also Arabic. Recommended!

Small snack bar with unfortunately only a few seating options inside. The food tastes very tasty and is absolutely recommended for vegans and vegetarians! But please take the Coca Cola drinks out of the range, you offer enough alternatives that fit the concept better and are authentic!🍉☺️ Maybe a seat will also fit in if one of the refrigerators is omitted.

Today I visited Koshari Ahl Cairo for the first time with a friend...we had super friendly service! I had koshari Classic "Large" with an Egyptian tea and at the end an Egyptian rice pudding. Everything was perfect and definitely recommended and worth a visit!

I have rarely seen such attentive, friendly and very nice staff! I don't know who doesn't feel comfortable here, as the atmosphere is small but extremely cozy.❤️❤️ The food didn't take too long and was exceptionally very, very tasty and beautifully and freshly prepared. The prices are also more than justified, as some of the portions are really decent. I mean, where can you get such large portions for under €20 these days?!🤷🏽‍♀️ I would like to thank this restaurant very much and especially the courteous Mr. Younes who served us warmly.❤️ If we didn't live so far away we would definitely come here more often as it can only be recommended. Simply great👌🏽❤️

I absolutely loved my visit to Koshari Ahl Cairo! The authentic flavors and the careful preparation of the dishes really enchanted me. The Koshari in particular was a taste experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. If you want to experience Egyptian cuisine at its best, this is the place for you. Five stars are absolutely deserved, I'll definitely be back!

It's more of a counter than a restaurant, seats are limited so it's better to make a reservation if you want to eat there. The food is excellent and the person at the counter took the time to explain to us how to enjoy our traditional dish. We will go back!

A nice spot to experience traditional Egyptian food. While it might not fully compare to the famous Eltahrir Koshari in Egypt, it’s a good place to try something different and enjoy the unique flavors of Egypt. Absolutely delicious place to grab a healthy vegan bowl right next to the English Garden. They were open on a Sunday which was rare in the area, the prices were super reasonable for the portion sizes, and they did have some great desserts as well. The best picnic place around!!

Super tasty and great service! We have had the Koshari and the Ful bel Tahin several times and it is always very, very delicious! Today I had Egyptian coffee for the first time, which was also very tasty. We also had a drink made from hibiscus, which was also great. The food was brought to us very, very quickly and the portions were also very filling. If you don't make it, you can take the rest home with you without any problems.
