To be honest, I can't understand all the positive reviews at all. We went there because of all the positive reviews, but it was very disappointing: the food was, well, it really wasn't great: bland and not at all tasty, I've eaten better in some snack bars. That was really nothing. Furthermore, not a single vegetarian dish?! I found it very strange. And the "ambience", which some people describe as atmospheric or great, is subterranean - old tables with very tasteless light green wax tablecloths, and old wooden chairs. That really wasn't nice at all. I really can't recommend it at all :( the waitress was very friendly, the food came quickly - I can't think of more positive things.

The Sunbubu Jjigae soup was like ramen soup and had seasonings all over it. Stir-fried pork is only carrots and onions. Seasoning all over. How old is the rice? It seems like they give you the same side dishes you used to eat. You need to improve. Why is the price so expensive?

Food very good. Lots of space, even outside. Particularly beautiful under the natural shade with a view of the greenery. Not well expelled.

Food was limited but tasted great. They only had a small menu and told us we could not order from their regular menu. We had the pork belly and it was a great experience grilling it at the table. Nothing though to compare with the US. We had to wait some time for someone to show up but she was very friendly .

The food there is always very good, and it's wonderful to sit there in the summer. Personally, I would like to have 2/3 more wines to choose from, but that doesn't have to be the case.

The environment is super big and comfortable. It's a huge garden restaurant. The service is very enjoyable. We like food very much. The price is not expensive at all. We will come back often from now on for sure.

Although we drive past the restaurant almost every day, we only recently discovered it by chance and are super excited!!! Great food of great quality, great, extremely warm and friendly service. A real “secret place” that we can only recommend. We will definitely eat there more often in the future! A big thank you to the team!

Wir haben hier als Familie zum Muttertag gegessen. Meine Kinder waren etwas skeptisch, aber ich liebe Koreanisches Essen und habe mir diese Location gewünscht. Fazit: Sehr nette Bedienung, Toller Service und das Essen war hervorragend. Alle aus meiner Familie waren begeistert, alles wurde aufgegessen und der Satz: " Wir kommen wieder hierher" war das Highlight. Sehr zu empfehlen und vielen Dank an den Koch, für dieses tolle Essen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch...

If you want authentic Korean food, this is the place for you. I think the food is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended are the dumplings as a starter and the spicy chicken as a main course. In addition, delicious little bowls with all sorts of Korean delicacies are always served as a greeting from the kitchen. Maybe it's useful to know: the food is usually at least slightly spicy. So not for the faint of heart. The restaurant is obviously completely underestimated because we only ever see a few visitors there. I think the location is a shame. It's not that easy to find. There are good parking options and you can sit nicely in a kind of “beer garden”. The toilets are fine and clean, but it is a toilet trailer like in markets (if that matters to you).

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, der Service überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Angebot ist ein wenig fleischlastig, für Veganer oder Vegetarier werden Gerichte von der Karte auf Wunsch abgewandelt und mit Tofu angeboten. Das muss man aber abfragen. Reis oder Beilagen bekamen wir ohne Probleme nach, wenn etwas ausgegangen war. Das Ambiente ist sicher im Sommer schöner, aber das machen die Gastgeber durch ihre Freundlichkeit mehr als wett.

You sit next to an older industrial building in a kind of very large "garden gazebo". The galvanized frame construction is overgrown with green plants. That could be nice, but the numerous neon lights, the asphalt floor and the cheap wind protection film unfortunately look more like the outdoor shunting area of ​​an industrial company in the evening. Towards the end of our visit, a rat ran across the arbor (no joke). The toilets are in a small container in the parking lot with plenty of spiders and their webs. Addendum: For a visit on a sunny afternoon, the outdoor terrace with large flowering plants is very nice and recommended.

No Korean restaurant in Frankfurt comes close to this authentic food! I was in Korea for a few months and the home cooked food and side dishes always bring me back to this amazing country. I particularly enjoy eating the hot stews. However, portions could be a little larger or the option for larger portions would also be good, or extra meat/noodles/rice for bibimbap)

The food is sensationally good and delicious. I'm no expert, but that's how I imagine original Korean cuisine. I'm already looking forward to the next visit. The only negative point was that it was a bit cool in the winter garden. But in summer a fantastic atmosphere.

Ich fasse es mal so zusammen: dieser Laden ist speziell. Das Ambiente beziehungsweise die Umgebung ist auf den ersten Eindruck ganz schön, aber bei näherem hinsehen passt alles nicht so ganz zusammen. Ich kam leider nicht in den Genuss, dieser vermeintlich so freundlichen Kellnerin, sie schien gerade frei zu haben. Ich habe ein klassisches, koreanisches Gericht bestellt: Bibimbab. War ganz ok, aber nicht super lecker. Ja, es kamen einige Schälchen kleinere Salate dazu, diese fand ich jedoch nicht besonders schmackhaft. Hinzukam, dass ich in meinem Kimchi, nachdem ich ihn halb aufgegessen hatte, eine Fliege fand! Neben an ist eine Baustelle, die sich mir nicht näher erschlossen hat. Direkt neben an üben Golfer und es befindet sich ein etwas seltsamer Käfig mit mehreren Pfauen darin. Die Toiletten wurde schon beschrieben. Ich werde nicht wieder kommen.

Leider sind wir nach unserem Besuch und den ganzen positiven Bewertungen, welche uns bewogen hatten das Restaurant zu testen, sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war im Vergleich zu div. China Imbisse maximal Mittelmaß. Die Suppe war ganz Ok. Das wäre alles nicht so dramatisch wenn die Preise nicht so völlig überzogen wären für die Qualität welche man dafür bekommt. Bei vielen Thai's und China Imbissen bekommt man das selbe od. sogar besseren Geschmack zum halben Preis. Einziges Plus... die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Somit ein für uns nicht so schöner Besuch.

Wir sind nach dem Fussballgolf direkt dort eingekehrt. An sich ein ganz hübsches Ambiente. Als Vegetarier musste ich leider feststellen wie Fleisch lastig die Speisekarte war. Es gab eigentlich nichts ohne Fleisch oder Meerestiere. Das fand ich sehr schade und für die heutige Zeit zu antiquiert. Ich konnte dennoch ein Gericht statt mit Huhn mit Tofu bestellen. Wir erhielten dann gratis kleine Beilagen Teller die super lecker waren und ich mich frage wieso man nicht daraus ein vegetarisches Gericht erstellen kann?! Mein danach serviertes Gericht schmeckte dagegen wirklich fade. In unserer Gruppe (15 P.) gab unterschiedliches Feedback aufs Essen aufgrund dessen ich weder gut noch schlecht als Rückmeldung geben kann. Es kam durchaus auf das Gericht drauf an. PS: Die Toiletten sind leider ungeeignet für Rollstuhlfahrer.

You find the Korea Garden Restaurant at the very beginning entering Petterweil, coming from Frankfurt / Bad Vilbel. Korea Garden is simply a hidden paradise and very nice and friendly place. Great Korean dishes, a very nice service team and a good value for your money.
