Bestes koreanisches Restaurant der Stadt! Ich komme seit vielen Jahren extra dort hin, wenn ich koreanisches Essen crave. Super netter Familienbetrieb!

Sehr sehr leckeres thailändisches Essen! Es wird kochend heiss serviert. Man kann auch draußen an der Straße sitzen. Ansonsten können die Glastüren auf der Straßenseite geöffnet werden. Dadurch sitzt man halb draußen halb drinnen.

Wir waren im Oktober 2024 da (die Bewertung kommt etwas verspätet, aber da es so gut war, wollte ich gerne positives Feedback dalassen). Das Essen war 10/10! Auch der Service war freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir waren als Familie vor Ort und hatten uns auf einen angenehmen Restaurantbesuch gefreut. Bereits zu Beginn wurden wir jedoch in einer Weise behandelt, die wir als unfreundlich und respektlos empfunden haben. Statt eines gastfreundlichen Umgangs entstand schnell eine angespannte Atmosphäre. Auch im weiteren Verlauf hatten wir nicht das Gefühl, als Gäste willkommen zu sein. Der Umgangston mehrerer Mitarbeiter wirkte auf uns gereizt und wenig professionell. Auch das Essen entsprach leider nicht unseren Erwartungen. Als gelernter Restaurantfachmann, Hotelbetriebswirt und mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in Gastronomie und Hotellerie – darunter auch in internationalen Häusern – bewerte ich Restaurants nicht leichtfertig. Nach vielen Jahren in der Berliner Gastronomie sowie eigenen Aufenthalten in Korea entsprach die Qualität und Authentizität der Speisen für mich jedoch nicht dem Niveau, das ich von koreanischer Küche kenne. Als wir Kritik äußerten, wurde die Situation leider nicht professionell gelöst. Die Inhaberin wirkte auf uns überfordert und reagierte gleichzeitig lautstark und emotional. Besonders unangenehm war, dass sich weitere Personen in die Situation einmischten. In diesem Zusammenhang fühlten wir uns nicht mehr wohl und haben uns entschieden, die Rechnung zu bezahlen und das Restaurant zu verlassen. Nach unserer Erfahrung und auch nach dem Lesen verschiedener Bewertungen und Inhaber-Antworten entsteht bei uns leider der Eindruck, dass Kritik nur schwer angenommen wird. Mehrere Gäste berichten von einer wenig kinderfreundlichen Atmosphäre, unfreundlicher Kommunikation und unprofessionellen Reaktionen auf Beschwerden. Nach unserem Besuch können wir diese Eindrücke leider nachvollziehen. Ausschlaggebend für diese Bewertung sind nicht nur das aus unserer Sicht enttäuschende Essen, sondern vor allem der Umgang mit Gästen, die Atmosphäre und die fehlende Professionalität im Umgang mit Kritik. Für Familien können wir dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

In großen Schalen kommt köstlich heißes Essen…das müssen wir unbedingt wiederholen!!!

Ein tolles, authentisches, kleines Restaurant mit leckerem Essen & guten Drinks. Nur wird es dort schnell durch die offene Küche stickig, es fehlt die Frischluftzufuhr.

Dieses Restaurant ist super! Das Essen ist fantastisch! Sie geben sich immer Mühe, einen Tisch für einen zu finden! Der Service ist schnell! Absolut empfehlenswert. Ich liebe das Bulgogi und alles mit gebratenem Hähnchen.

Eines der besten Bibimbaps aus dem Steintopf, die ich je gegessen habe, weder in Berlin noch anderswo.

Kann leider die ganzen positiven Rezensionen nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Wie hatten das vegetarische Bibimbap. Das bestand leider hauptsächlich aus öligem Reis und ehrlich gesagt kaum Gemüse und geschmacklich leider fad. Hatte ein zweites Spiegelei dazu bestellt, ansonsten wäre ich auch nicht satt geworden. Zudem ist die Lüftung leider echt schlecht und Haare als auch Klamotten riechen stark nach Essen/Fett danach. Service war leider zumindest am heutigen Abend auch nicht so aufmerksam.

Immer Mega lecker. udon Nudel, Suppen, Vorspeisen alles einfach richtig gut. Bin so froh, dass wir in unserem Kiez dieses super Restaurant haben! Bestellt unbedingt udonnudeln mit Tofu und wartet auf die kulinarische Erleuchtung bei Eintritt in den gustohimmel!

Einfach nur schrecklich. Dreckig. Gehen Sie bloß nicht hin.

Das Essen hier ist ausgezeichnet. Besonders das Bibimbap ist herausragend, das absolute Highlight der Speisekarte und unbedingt einen Versuch wert. Der Service ist gut und effizient. Die Atmosphäre hingegen ist eher einfach. Es ist mehr ein Ort zum Essen und Weitergehen als zum Entspannen oder für ein gemütliches Mittagessen. Dennoch ist der Gesamteindruck positiv, und wir kommen immer wieder wegen des Essens.

War hier spontan Essen. Die Udon mit Rindfleisch waren hervorragend! Ebenso die Getränke und der Service. Komme gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant weigerte sich, für ein Kleinkind nicht scharfes Essen zu servieren. Sie bestanden darauf, dass es „koreanisch nicht scharf“ sei (man sah Chiliöl darin, sie weigerten sich, es ohne zu servieren) und dass dies „koreanische Kultur“ sei. Entschuldigung, aber ich war dieses Jahr schon zweimal in Korea und habe so etwas dort nicht erlebt. Eine seltsame Erfahrung.

Sau leckeres essen. Mehr kann man da eigentlich nicht sagen. Am Essen gab es absolut null auszusetzen es war absolut fantastisch.

Absolut fantastisches koreanisches Essen! 🇰🇷 Alles, was wir probiert haben – Bibimbap, scharfes Schweinefleisch, gebratenes Hähnchen und Tee – war einfach perfekt. Besonders das scharfe Schweinefleisch (제육볶음) hatte diesen richtig rauchigen „Feuer“-Geschmack und war ehrlich gesagt sehr lecker. 🤌🏼 Ich werde es definitiv vermissen, selbst wenn ich wieder in Korea bin, haha. 🤣 Der Besitzer und die Angestellten waren super freundlich und liebenswert. Kein Wunder, dass sie so gute Bewertungen haben! Wenn ihr Lust auf authentisches koreanisches Essen habt, ist dieses Restaurant ein absolutes Muss! 💯 Tipp: Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt, daher empfehle ich, vorher zu reservieren.

The staff is super friendly and the food is incredible. Fair prices and easy access to the subway. The ambiance is also very nice. Small but nice!

The restaurant offers a great selection of food, and on top of that, it’s run by the nicest people ever. I forgot my bag in the restaurant, and they waited for me for two hours after closing, and were just extremely helpful overall. I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing Korean food! Cozy seating and super friendly staff. I had chicken bokkeum udon with miso soup – the noodles were fresh, soup was perfect, and the fried chicken in sweet & sour sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, crisp veggies and flavorful kimchi made it a perfect meal. Highly recommend!

Authentic Korean food, but missing the banchan. The fried chicken is really good but I wished it was less oily. Average about 20+€ per person with a beverage.

The food is sooooo good, me and my colleagues went here every week, but now we are so sad that there is no more Lunch service! Just write here as a wish, that you will restart lunch service someday😭😭😭😭😭😭

I don't know of a better Korean restaurant! It's often packed, but so far, I've always been able to get a seat as a single person (at lunchtime). The food comes in three different spiciness levels, which people always ask for. The fried udon noodles are extremely good, but the classic bibimbap with marinated beef is also delicious! The food is always extremely hot!

Authentic Korean food, prepared piping hot. Relatively busy even during the week – no wonder! The menu offers a variety of options, with the classic bibimbap definitely winning. Everything is reasonably priced. A definite recommendation!

Amazing Food. Sometimes its a little too crowded, and from time to time the communication with the waiters is not 100% perfect but always absolutely nice and friendly, and the whole ambience is totally friendly and welcoming. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Probably the best Korean spot in Berlin for hand-pulled noodles! The owners are incredibly kind, and it's always worth a visit.

I haven't eaten tastier Korean food yet. Especially in stone pots. The interior is without pathos, of course. But it's okay to have a snack.

10/10 this restaurant! We went there on Saturday around 5:45 p.m. and got a spot without a reservation. All the employees were really friendly and we were served quickly. We once ordered the udon noodles with the Korean fried chicken and the bibimbap dish with the chicken. As a starter we had a miso soup which was very tasty. When it comes to the main courses, we have to say that we were simply thrilled. It was extremely tasty and especially the udon noodles were my highlight! Will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant. But if you want to come after 6 p.m., make a reservation in advance.

Kooks Korean Restaurant is simply amazing! The service is very friendly, attentive and makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely authentic and incredibly delicious! You notice how much passion and skill there is behind every detail. An absolute must for anyone who loves or wants to rediscover Korean cuisine. I'll definitely come back, clear recommendation!

The portions were generous and all the menu items I had tried so far were delicious. Kimchi stew and seafood + bulgogi stir-fried on an iron plate were all good because they tasted just like Korea.

I ordered beef stew, but I got chicken stew. When I checked, the menu said that the ingredient was chicken, but I assumed that yukgaejang was usually beef, so I was confused when I received the food. Beef stew and chicken stew taste completely different... Please note this if you want to eat beef stew.

As a Korean, we really enjoyed the 3 dishes we had yesterday - very authentic Even my 1 year old Baby loved it! The service was also very friendly. Definitely will come back!

Mega! The 102, 4 and 20 are absolute highlights – really spicy and delicious. There is also a lot of sauce, so good that a bowl of rice can easily be eaten. XD Really fair price too, would love to go again with girls!

I had two toppings on my bibimbap and had to pay 3 euros extra, even though the price difference would have been only 1 euro according to the menu. Unfortunately, the "crispy fried tofu" was totally limp and not crispy at all, and my "not very hot" dish was unfortunately medium hot. Overall the taste was okay but I was hoping for more.

Today we went to Kooks with a larger group and had a delicious Korean meal. Starting with the friendly service, who even cleared a table for us including a baby chair, to the delicious fried chicken and the tender beef in the soups - it was an all-round successful and pleasant evening that we were able to spend in this restaurant. Thank you for that! We'd love to come back~

Very tasty food, especially the bibimbaps!

If you like good and authentic Korean cuisine, this is the place for you! The food here tastes fantastic, which is freshly prepared and of very high quality.👌 I was very happy about the opening back then. Definitely an enrichment for the Bundesplatz and its surroundings! So it's worth visiting Kook's cooking.

THIS RESTAURANT IS TOO OVERRATED. 4.8 Stars? Nope. Pervasive Odor: Upon leaving, I noticed a lingering, unpleasant smell clinging to my clothes, which significantly detracted from the overall experience. Inconsistent Food Quality: While many of the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, a few had a distinct burnt taste. I also observed flames in the kitchen, which suggests the chef may have had difficulty controlling the heat. Hygiene Issues: The cleanliness left much to be desired. My table was sticky, and the restroom clearly needed attention. Mixed Service Experience: The staff themselves were warm and accommodating, but I was taken aback to witness someone, seemingly the owner, harshly reprimanding an employee within earshot of the guests. This was particularly unfortunate, as the employee appeared to be doing her utmost to provide excellent service.

Excellent cuisine and you can eat your fill. And above all, lovely staff and service! :D

The staff is very friendly, and overall it is clean and plentiful. The atmosphere is good too. I recommend chicken noodle soup and seafood udon. I went to Kook's cooking for the first time today. A friend has always raved about it and I love it too. A nice shop, super delicious food and nice service. I would love to come back and highly recommend this little restaurant.

Look's cooking wasn't necessarily on my list, but it was highly recommended and I've always wanted to eat Korean fried chicken. So off to the Korean. The shop is relatively small, but really cute. I received complete advice and guidance. With complete confidence I also ordered my dish spicy. The chicken was simply incredibly tasty and overall I was thrilled. The noodles had the perfect consistency for me and the sauce was tasty and not too spicy. It was a complete success and I've thought about it often since then.

i've been wanting to come back here after some time, because i loved their fried chicken! first time i tried, i ordered their bimbimbap with fried chicken. this time, i ordered their fried udon with fried chicken. it was delicious! obviously, the star was still their chicken, but their udon help up as well! would come back again. the miso soup as starter was a great surprise.
