The best cake I've ever eaten, I can only recommend it and don't understand all the negative reviews at all!!

After being told at the entrance that there was still enough space and you could choose one, the garden was overcrowded and there was no space anywhere. After being kindly pointed out, the confirmation came that three orders would first have to be processed then they would be taken care of. After 2 minutes of disregard in the middle of the restaurant we left. Unfriendly, inexperienced, and far too young staff. I can't comment on the dishes, cakes looked okay but for €6 a piece they were also quite off-putting

The bad previous reviews seemed a bit questionable to us; an average rating of 2.0 is rather unusual. But what can you say - 2.0 is still way over the top. All old reviews will probably assess the condition objectively. It's astonishing that such a renowned attraction as the Herrenhausen Gardens would tolerate such embarrassment in its vicinity! Even with very little traffic, the staff was completely listless and overwhelmed, and in no case could they give correct answers to questions, but only became snotty. The 40-minute wait for an almost inedible bratwurst that was barely fried, forgotten fries orders and a... Drinks offer that is hardly worth mentioning - at these steep prices, even one (forced) star is clearly too much. In addition, a bank of pallet tables and benches that we probably put together ourselves (not a bad idea in itself) simply collapsed on our first "attempt" to use it, but luckily it didn't lead to any major injuries - reaction from the staff: none... So clearly NOT recommended!

Catastrophe! Extremely expensive for very basic meals. Employees seem to not like their job at all.

We were there for dinner with 4 people. Waiting in line for 45 minutes to place the order (4x fried fish and chips). Then another 20 minutes until we got the food. At least 3 out of 4 people. The size of the portion was ridiculous. The bag was only half full. The fourth person got their food when we were finished. We won't even talk about the price. 10€ is usury. The one star is just ambience.

The waitress cheats, takes orders incorrectly, and when asked about the facts, the reaction is ultra-aggressive. While I was there with my friend, two more orders were not taken properly and there was too little. It is not known whether they still paid the full price.

For being a kind If it's supposed to be a snack, 40 minutes of waiting time is far too much. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right at all. 10€ for a small piece of fried fish and potato slices soaked in oil is too much. Drinks at €4 for 0.33 are also clearly in the upper range.

Unfortunately, I have to say that it's not possible in such a beautiful park, such an impudence. - Eating nothing normal and a sausage that wasn't cooked through (Weis). - Service is so bad, you don't have the overview - Nice atmosphere through the park

It doesn't open until 2 p.m. on Sunday when it's sunny and 20 degrees.

I like KÖNIGSKANTINE Die Bude. The atmosphere is nice, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, and the coffee and tea are tasty. The only downside for me was the price. I felt like a few of the items on the menu were overpriced for what you get.

Location ist ganz nett. Das Essen ist ok. Preis-Leistung stimmt gar nicht.

Hier kann man nett sitzen und etwas trinken, das Essen ist aber wirklich nicht sehr gut, insbesondere ist es sehr teuer für das, was es ist. Hier sollte man lieber nur etwas trinken.

Das Essen war überteuert, die Portionen sehr klein und es war nichts Besonderes. Die Bratwurst (für 5 €!!!) war noch weiß!? Und Pommes gab es nicht einmal.

Some buns are soft. Some buns are hard. Not great but does the job, sort of.

Very long (45 min!!) waiting time for nothing special... €10,50 for pre-made Backfisch, potato salad from a container and small amount of coleslaw... if you want to sell this quality: charge 10-20% less and be 4 times quicker.. won’t be coming back.
