Königshafen in List auf Sylt

During our short stay on this beautiful island, we were guests at the Königshafen restaurant twice. Excellent cuisine, great, attentive service. From the starter, to the main menu, to the dessert, we were thrilled. Prepared with love and a lot of creativity. Absolute recommendation.

Actually, a 5 star rating is unnecessary, as this restaurant has already rightly received 5 stars from so many guests. Nevertheless, I would like to agree with this assessment with great conviction and a broad smile. There were four of us and we all had a different dish From meat to fish and desserts. 5 stars! The service staff are consistently friendly, competent and have that touch of personality that makes you feel welcome very quickly, as if you've been coming and going here for ages. 5 stars.! The kitchen crew conjures up the foundation and the highlights on the plate. Here, eating is not about nourishment but rather a pleasure. A fun evening with friends with a great atmosphere. Thank you for that. Oh yes, reservations are advisable.

Absolutely authentic, exceptionally good cuisine. We felt very comfortable in the traditional but cozy atmosphere and enjoyed the friendly service from Ober Thomas. We'd love to come back next year.

We had reserved for three days and unfortunately had to cancel an appointment at short notice due to illness, so on the third evening we were given the cat table in the next room as punishment. No tablecloth, very small table at the passage. Prices for food and drink are the same as at a large, beautiful table with a tablecloth in the main room.

Absolutely recommended. As a cafe restaurateur on the island, I am very critical of the local catering scene and, of course, pay attention to a lot of little things due to my job. What can I say?—-a perfect evening!!! Very friendly welcome and escort to the table. Our waiter was very well trained, with a wit but competent, and was able to explain each dish excellently and make appropriate recommendations! We had sole and veal cheeks. The filleting at the table was exquisite and the taste was excellent. Best sole on the island! The veal cheek was so tender that it fell apart in the mouth, the vegetables were perfect, the reduced juice was a dream and the taste and quantity were perfectly matched to the unobtrusive truffle mashed potatoes. Everything absolutely harmonious. The scallops were top notch! All in all, an excellent evening that will definitely leave you wanting more. 5 stars as a rating is actually not enough. We added the Königshafen restaurant to our program and it did not disappoint. Very tasty, fresh cuisine, no trace of convenience food. For the main course, the sole and lamb were excellent and recommended. We would definitely like to come back.

We go here regularly when we are on Sylt. But especially for dinner. We like to walk, but there is enough parking space for motorized people. Good middle-class house with dedicated service staff. They took great care of us and also welcomed our dog. The Lottehund would therefore choose Königshafen. Then we all had delicious food and we were full. Personally, I liked the short wine list with mostly German wines. Everyone should find something there, especially at moderate prices. We're not in Michelin star heaven here, you always have to say that and that's why 4 stars is a top rating. The fact that the other visitors also have the same opinion was evident from the fact that we had to make reservations for our visit in 2024 - otherwise no chance.

Very nice guest garden, especially when the sun is shining - nice children's corner. Extremely delicious rump steak! Children's pirate fish (or something similar) with puree so-so. Service very below average today, lots of errors and late deliveries.

Great food, attentive service, gladly again

For me one of the best restaurants on Sylt. Very strong cuisine and excellent quality of service. Since it is not located between the dunes, it is not overrun by tourists. Overall, a pleasant country house atmosphere. Price-wise, it’s also completely okay. We recommend!!

During a week's vacation on Sylt we ate there twice and were not disappointed both times. The food was a dream: fresh, hot, creatively prepared and very tasty. We'll definitely come back. Update: half a year later we came back and were not disappointed! The beef fillet we ordered on the daily menu was more tender than tender. The staff was again very friendly with quick sayings on their lips. We say: “Goodbye!!”

We had reserved a table and were very happy with our decision to choose this restaurant after our visit. Great service, excellent food (plaice as the main course) and an appealing ambience gave us a wonderful first evening in List. Gladly again and therefore clear recommendation.

My husband and I celebrated our golden wedding anniversary there in intimate togetherness on April 19, 2024 - unnoticed by the rest of the world. We don't regret anything! Not even our dinner in the “Königshafen”. Starting with the friendly service, two excellent starters, very tasty main courses and the sweet desserts. We were satisfied and the house wine recommended to us also met our taste. Food of very good quality and without a lot of “bells and whistles”. Deserved five stars!

We have enjoyed coming here for many years and are always impressed by the friendliness of all the employees. The quality of the food is excellent. The sole is absolutely recommended. Incredibly good! Now all the restaurants have a very, very difficult time in comparison and there are some dishes that I wouldn't eat anywhere else. Been there three times within a week. Comfortably furnished with an eye for detail. Super nice, harmonious and courteous crew! The contact with the service, kitchen and everyone else on site was super nice and authentic. We would definitely come back and are still raving about the delicious dishes! Price-wise, it's totally okay for the outstanding quality. See you next time !

A beautiful hotel with a dream view. We are big Sylt fans, List is the place where we find peace. The hotel team and the boss were so warm and made us feel very familiar from the first Tsg. For us it was and is something very special. The rooms are large and comfortable. Cleanliness is very important here, which is almost the most important thing to me. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was very loving and the coffee was great. We found peace and quiet in the great wellness area! We thank you for your stay and pass it on to everyone else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Seit einigen Jahren komme ich schon regelmäßig in dieses wunderbare Restaurant. Hier gibt es dauerhaft ausgezeichnete Qualität und freundlichen Service. Die Seezunge ist immer wieder ein Hochgenuss!

Sehr gutes Essen auf hohem Niveau, freundlicher und lockerer Service. Hunde sind erlaubt. Reservierungen sind zu empfehlen.

Ein Klassiker unter den Sylter Restaurants und absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist hervorragend - handwerklich perfekt zubereitet. Wir hatten diesmal Kalbsbacke auf getrüffeltem Kartoffelpüree, sowie die Kutter-Seezungen (2stk auf dem Teller). Beides war auf den Punkt. Sehr lecker. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch je eine Kugel Eis. Preislich angemessen, speist man in traditionell Sylt/Friesischer Umgebung. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und man wird bestens umsorgt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Es war ein unfassbar schöner Abend im Restaurant. Geniales Essen, Topservice und Freundlichkeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alles sehr genossen. Vielen Dank :-)

Wir waren zu viert Essen . 3 Gerichte waren gut. Meine Scholle war auf einer Seite schwarz. Auf Frage an die Inhaberin, ob das so sein muss, kamen pampige Antworten aber keine Entschuldigung…. Es soll wohl immer so sein(andere Gäste hatten das gleiche Gericht mit schön goldbraun gebratener Scholle. Kann passieren. Reaktion der Inhaberin absolut nicht zu respektieren. Unsere Freunde (Sylter Neubürger!), die für den nächsten Tag auch dort zu fünft gebucht hatten, haben die Reservierung storniert. Für uns aus Prinzip „nie wieder“. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist auch nicht ok.

Tatsächlich mit einigem Abstand die beste Küche in List. Die dunkle Jus zum Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht. Der Service war auch super. Das Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen.

Waren jetzt über die Jahre das dritte Mal im Königshafen. Schön dass es auf Sylt noch ein paar konstante Größen in der Gastronomie gibt. Korrekter aufmerksamer Service. Sitzen gerne draußen im Garten. Und wieder sehr positive Erfahrungen mit dem was aus der Küche kommt. Z.B. die Krabbensuppe, der Rotbarsch nach Omas Art oder das sehr leckere Rinderfilet. Bleibt zu hoffen dass auch dieses Lokal in ein paar Jahren nicht wegen Personalmangel schließen muss. Update 2023: auch dieses Jahr wieder ein perfekter Frühabend im Garten mit ganz tollem Essen und Service. Daumen wieder hoch!

Wer bei einem Sylt Aufenthalt hier nicht einkehrt, war nicht auf der Insel. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Das Essen ist super lecker und qualitativ hochwertig. Ob Fisch ob Fleisch hier kommt man auf seine Kosten. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet Extrawünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Wir hatten das Lachsfilet auf Rahmkraut und Kartoffelpüree und als Klassiker das Wiener Kalbsschnitzel an Bratkartoffeln und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit friesischen Akzenten.

Kein Schickimicki Lokal 👍 sehr gute Küche zu vernünftigen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Un 10! Es un restaurante “de toda la vida”, con producto de calidad, raciones generosas y personal muy amable. Recomiendo pedir cualquier pescado, el lenguado estaba especialmente rico. Visto el tamaño de los platos, no es necesario pedir entrantes, además te traen una ensalada previo al plato principal.

Lange nicht mehr so gut auf Sylt gegessen und sicher nicht das letzte Mal

Sehr gediegenes fein eingerichtetes Restaurant in dem sehr gut Fisch und Fleischgerichte gegessen werden können. Ausgewählte Weine (Heger Grauburgunder aus Region Freiburg zum Beispiel) und Desserts runden das Bild perfekt ab. Ich liebe ja Wiener Schnitzel und das ist hier wirklich zu empfehlen. Es gibt einen Garten der bei Sonne zum Verweilen und Essen genießen einlädt. Parkplätze gibt es genug direkt vor dem Haus. Die Toiletten sind sauber und süß eingerichtet (Pipi Lounge genannt). Die Gäste sind meist älter und gut angezogen. Das Personal ist freundlich und auf trapp. Mein Hund war willkommen. Klare Empfehlung von mir.

Seit fast zwanzig Jahren besuche ich das Restaurant Königshafen - und meine Begeisterung nimmt immer noch zu! Inzwischen landen wir regelmäßig an meinem Geburtstag hier, die Vorfreude beginnt dann schon Wochen vor der Anreise, die Erinnerungen kommen dafür mit nach Hause, wenn der Sylturlaub leider wieder zu Ende ist. Für alle Kategorien kann ich uneingeschränkt fünf Sterne vergeben, da gibt es nix zu meckern!

Sehr gut gegessen, fantastischer Service, uns bediente ein so sympathischer und angenehmer Kellner - noch recht „frisch“ im Königshafen tätig - das den Abend zu einem sehr schönen Erlebnis machte. Traumhafte Gartenterrasse!

Wir waren am 08.06.2023 wieder einmal im Restaurant Königshafen. Die Küche und der Service sind hervorragend. Es ist ein absoluter Ort zum Wohlfühlen mit einem tollen Essen und einem super Service. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Hoffentlich bleibt uns dieses Restaurant noch lange erhalten und muss nicht wegen Personalmangel in Zukunft schließen.

Ich würde im königshafen am liebsten jeden Tag essen. Unser Hund ist dort immer herzlich willkommen.

Wir waren gestern auf Empfehlung im Königshafen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Jakobsmuscheln, die Austern, das Wiener Schnitzel, die Kalbsbacke und den angepriesenen Haselnussschnapps können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es war einfach köstlich! Zudem war der Service sehr nett, flott und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant selbst ist sehr gemütlich. :-) Wir kommen wieder!
