We always enjoyed going to Koko Sushi, but today we left there really annoyed... The menu is available as a QR code to scan and, if desired, also in paper form - the prices on it vary greatly. But it goes even further... There's one thing on the menu, but you're served something completely different. When asked, the answer was “Yes, the description on the menu was wrong”. However, the descriptions are the same for both menus. The service was so semi-friendly and didn't show up after we asked. We had to go to the front to pay. What's that supposed to mean?

It's truly unfortunate to see a once popular restaurant fall into disrepair. About four weeks ago there was a secret change of operator, which was only noticed because vouchers were no longer accepted and the gourmet block was ignored. The service is so bad that one star would be too much. You wait forever to place an order and no one shows up. If you wave someone over after more than half an hour, it often takes another ten minutes for someone to show up. At the counter you can only look at empty bowls on the boats. After the supposed reopening, discounts were offered. On Friday everyone was able to pay for their own meal, but when I returned on Monday the waitress said that a split bill wasn't possible to give the discounts. When asked why it was possible on Friday, she simply replied that it wasn't possible today and that it was Monday. That didn't really clarify the situation. Meanwhile, there was a heated discussion with two other guests who wanted to redeem their voucher, which was only a few months old. They were only able to use their voucher after threats from a lawyer. Although I wanted to give the gourmet block restaurant another chance, they managed to lose us as customers forever. The voucher is completely refused even though it is the new one from 2025. No concessions were expected and the employees talked at once, which was not helped by the language barrier. We took our jackets and decided to go to another restaurant. Fortunately, there are now many good alternatives in Erfurt.

Guys, what's going on in your toilets? Yours are really dirty and haven't been cleaned for a while. Overall, the ambience looks worn out in some places. We ate all you can eat, although the black plates cost extra. Today there were too many black ones distributed among the boats, which circled around uncooled for ages and took up space. Sure, who wants to pay extra when the rest is included?

At first I felt a bit uncomfortable in the restaurant because everything seemed strange to me. But the chef behind the line was totally open and sweet when I said that I couldn't tell which of these dishes was vegetarian. He then prepared three plates for me directly and didn't send them on their way via the boat conveyor, but brought them to my place personally and told me what he had prepared. And it was all VERY delicious!! Thanks for that!

We have been eating at Koko Sushi for years and have always been more than satisfied. Unfortunately, last Saturday nothing was as usual, except the location. The sushi wasn't nearly as tasty or visually appealing. The drinks service was slow, from 9 p.m. the boats were no longer filled and everything was cleared away in front of our eyes. Sushi was made for the tables and individual guests were given a plate, but we came away empty-handed. We are very disappointed and not sure if we will visit our actual favorite restaurant again. We expect something different for these prices.

Bei unserer heutigen Bestellung zur Abholung war der Thunfisch verdorben und stank extrem, was leider erst nach dem Öffnen der Box bemerkbar war. Eine Beschwerde war nicht möglich, da der Chef der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig ist und während des Telefonats 2x auflegte. Wir werden dieses Restaurant aus gesundheitsgefährdenden Gründen nicht mehr nutzen und können dies auch allen anderen Gästen nur dringend empfehlen!

Great idea with the running sushi. The plates have different colors and therefore different prices. However, you have to bring a little more time. The boats with the plates don't go around very quickly and if there isn't anything you want to try then it takes a while. The only thing that wasn't so great was that after the visit the clothes smelled like they were fried. The owner could remedy this. Otherwise very solid sushi restaurant!

First of all: The only thing that is still good are the “sushi masters”. They know their craft. Unfortunately, service-wise things have become very poor since the new owners took over. Despite a reservation, no space. Poor organization, poor communication and long waiting times. Now on the topic of vouchers: I have a voucher from the previous owner that is still valid. There are only stands on the tables on site, you should contact the previous owner for reimbursement; their vouchers will not be accepted. The previous owner cannot be reached by phone or email or ignores contact. After consultation with a lawyer, the new owners are obliged to accept the vouchers from the previous owners and continue to operate the restaurant with the same name and appearance. I pointed this out to the current owners and am being ignored here and not getting any feedback. It's a shame, it used to be good, now I have to get help because people don't want to deal with disagreements and simply ignore concerns. No longer recommended.

Even if you obviously make an effort to give every guest a seat and constantly let guests move around during the meal, in the end you can't score points for good service, nor for the food, and certainly not for the state of cleaning. The dishes are also visibly old and show clear signs of frequent use; they should be replaced urgently, especially because the damage results in very sharp edges. The cleaning condition of the guest room, windows, etc. Leaves a lot to be desired, cobwebs have found their way onto the ceiling and in the corners. I don't even want to talk about the toilets. The food tasted good, although you can't really feel comfortable in the atmosphere described. Some things urgently need to be changed...we will definitely avoid this restaurant in the future.

Not what it used to be! The only good thing is the "old" sushi man from before!! When we arrived my husband was stuck to his table - everything was sticky! We looked at the boats floating in murky water and at chipped plates with sushi on them, some of which were so poorly wrapped that they fell apart. Some of it was very dry and not nearly as flavorful or tasty as before. In the area of the sushi chefs you could see chipped and swollen worktops and an unfortunately unappetizing fish counter. After 15 minutes we still had no ginger/wasabi. The apple spritzer contained no fizz and the cocktail was warm. Instead of a sushi bar - lounge music, there's some blaring radio songs. The men's toilet was dirty and partly broken. The women's toilet was also unclean and didn't smell good. I haven't written a bad review yet - but that really wasn't possible at all!!! That WAS our favorite store. Very disappointing!

First of all, the rating does not refer to the food - it is top. We wanted to go to the restaurant again. Since we like to sit at the bar because you can choose your own food depending on the boat, we made a reservation. And now the odyssey begins. First reserved via the website with the addition “please at the bar” after a while the confirmation was received and a minute later it was canceled ☹️ Ok, maybe only possible by phone. So we called a week later and pointed out several times where we would like to sit. That's why it wasn't a Thursday, but a Friday. We went to the restaurant on time, in a good mood and full of anticipation, only to find out that nothing would happen because it was fully booked! 😠 Maybe the staff should be trained better to take telephone orders, or expand it online with the option at the bar. We were very disappointed and then went to a competitor who was only a few minutes away - they were great and now have new customers.

The Suhsi on the passing boats is very fresh and tasty, you really can't get enough of it. My wife and I were thrilled - highly recommended. However, I have to deduct one star because of the desolate toilet (men's) and because of the poor service, you can hardly communicate and it was difficult to convey drink requests because the lady was overloaded (lunchtime, not full). That was a bit of a shame.

It used to be great, today it sucks. Food cold, if you can even order after forever and asking. Sushi was delicious, the rest was cold. There was no response to the complaint. When paying, it turned out they didn't take credit cards. No solution suggested, my husband now uses the card to get cash. We won't be coming back!

Mh... unfortunately Koko Sushi is probably no longer what it used to be, our visit today was unfortunately a bit disappointing. It was very cold in the restaurant, the ambient music consisted of a very monotonous and recurring jingle and unfortunately not only the heating but also the cleanliness had to be saved. The food was overall good. What's somehow not possible, I think, is that the wasabi and ginger are forgotten with a sushi plate! For a sushi restaurant I expected something more creative.

Unfortunately, the service was virtually non-existent. We only spent half an hour without a menu, the drinking came well after the meal and a portion was brought with dessert. We were visiting Erfurt today and by chance passed Koko Sushi and wanted to grab a bite to eat. We were immediately blown away by the extremely successful atmosphere and the courteous treatment by the staff and the boss. The different sushi from nigiri to rolls to mochi were great!!! From vegetarian to gratinated fish in the rolls, there was something perfect for everyone in the family. 🫶🍀 It was so great that we went there again in the evening and enjoyed running sushi. 👍👍👍🫶🫶🫶🍀🍀 Absolutely recommended!!! 🤩🥰👍

I was at the restaurant for my birthday and some business meetings. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially in the evening when the sushi buffet is open and the main chef prepares the food. You don't have to wait for your food and the buffet offers a lot of variety and there is something for everyone. The service is always nice and courteous and regularly asks if there is anything else that can be served. Absolutely recommended for events and appointments!

Das Essen ist sehr gut, es wird hinter einem Tresen für alles zu sehen zubereitet und dann auf kleine Boote gestellt, sodass jeder das nehmen kann was ihn anspricht. Angerechnet wird zum schluss. Es gibt verschiedene Tellerfarben mit den entsprechenden Preisen. Preis-Leistung ist okay, sushi ist halt nicht billig. Ambiente wirkt etwas Kühl. Erinnert mehr an ein Klamottenladen. Das tut dem Geschmack aber keinen Abbruch. Personal ist sehr freundlich und Kundenorientiert. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Seit langem waren wir wieder dort gewesen. Bis dato war es für mich DAS Sushirestaurant in Erfurt mit der besten Qualität. Die Qualität des Essens und der Geschmack hat allerdings stark nachgelassen, die Preise sind gleich geblieben. Der Fußboden hat geklebt, die Box in der Soundanlage war kaputt und hat mehr gestört, als beruhigende Musik gespielt, das Interieur (ich war in der Sitzecke) ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Tapete löst sich langsam ab. Auf das Essen mussten wir relativ lang warten, obwohl nur drei Tische besetzt waren. Zudem wurde ein Essen falsch gebracht, obwohl es korrekt aufgenommen wurde. Ich vermute das es hier einen Inhaberwechsel gab. Schade. Bis dato hätte ich jedem das Restaurant in Erfurt für Sushi empfohlen. Nun nicht mehr.

Diciamo che la serata è stata piacevole per la buona compagnia ma il locale non ha dato una mano. Spaventati dal fatto che non parlassimo tedesco ci hanno ignorato finché non abbiamo chiesto con insistenza. Non abbiamo ancora capito perché non potevamo stare al banco all you can eat ma ad ogni modo siamo riusciti ad ordinare. Nessuno sapeva quello che chiedessimo ad eccezione di una ragazza che sapeva l’inglese ed era gentilissima. Sono riuscita ad avere il mio the grazie a lei. Il cibo è stato davvero pessimo. Spicy tuna senza sapore così come il pesce. Non abbiamo gradito ne il sashimi ne i nigiri. Unica cosa molto buona: miso soup con funghi!

Top Sushi-Restaurant in Erfurt. Frisches und leckeres Sushi und mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl oder auch Extrawünsche beim Sushi-Meister möglich. Essen war sehr lecker und hochwertig! Aber Service ist unterirdisch... - 30min bis wir Getränke hatten - Vorspeise nach 1 Stunde bei einem 40-50% gefüllten Restaurant - Besteck/ Stäbchen, Soja- Schälchen und Servietten mussten wir selber holen - Rechnung haben wir am Tresen bezahlt Hat echt kein Spaß gemacht.

Immer wieder toll hier. Sehr nette Sushi Meister die auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingehen. Das Sushi ist köstlich und man fühlt sich als Kunde wertgeschätzt. Auch für Vegetarier geeignet! Das Band in Form von Schiffchen macht was her und ist ein toller Unterschied zu anderen Running Sushis. Wir kommen seit Jahren gerne her!

Sehr leckeres Sushi in großer Auswahl. Wir haben am Band gesessen und einige Sachen probiert, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gewählt hätte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Ambiente stimmig. Wir würden wieder hier Essen gehen.

Ich wohne seit 6 Jahren in Erfurt und Koko Sushi war eigentlich mal für Sushi die beste Adresse in Erfurt, aber der Besuch heute war einfach eine totale Enttäuschung. Obwohl der Laden fast leer war, wurden wir zu Beginn trotz Reservierung neben der Kasse und einem Haufen dreckiger Klapptische platziert - mit vertrockneter Blume auf dem Tisch. Nach Hinweis konnten wir dann an einen der unzähligen leeren Tische wechseln. Was soll ich sagen: Kissen und Lampenschirme alle dreckig und bespritzt, die Tapete an der Wand löst sich, Löcher und Nägel in der Tapete, Spinnweben in den Ecken, dreckige Fenster - nun gut, alles irgendwie hinnehmbar, wenn auch nicht besonders toll. Maki waren alle eingerissen, das “Green and spicy” war ohne spicy, weil die Sauce einfach fehlte, im Moscow Mule war offenbar statt Wodka nur Zuckersirup, der Geschmack des Rests war okay (aber ehrlich: da kann man auch bei nem Lieferservice wie Happy Sushi essen). Fazit: Leider letztes Mal.

Wir waren kurz entschlossen hier und haben sogar 2 Plätze am Circle bekommen. (Am Wochenende sollte man sich einen Platz rechtzeitig reservieren!) Sauberkeit und Schnelligkeit bei der Zubereitung, Auswahl und Service waren super! Noch frischer kann man Sushi nicht haben! Es war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Wenn wir wieder in Erfurt sind, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Der Koko war fantastisch! Das Essen war köstlich und die fahrenden Boote, von denen man sich bedienen konnte, sorgten für eine tolle Atmosphäre. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Ich kann diesen Ort nur empfehlen, um eine großartige Sushi-Erfahrung zu genießen.

Das Sushi war sehr lecker. Wir saßen am Rondell und der Sushi Chef hat explizit nach unseren Vorlieben gefragt (Fisch/vegetarisch etc). Auswahl war am Anfang etwas eingeschränkt da wenig Gäste da waren aber es füllte sich dann noch gut und überaus ausreichend.

I loved the little boats, bringing your food to your place. Exalted ambient for a running sushi place. The chef did a awesome job with his sushi, regarding taste and look. Got a bit noisy at times, but the overall experience was perfect. Recommendation!

Auf dem Band war nur jedes vierte Schiffchen befüllt und das nur mit Standard Sushi oder Algensalat. Beim Wechsel an einen Tisch, klebte der Stuhl auf dem Boden, die Tapete blättert von der Wand und die Speisekarte zerfiel beim anfassen in ihre Einzelteile. Hygienisch absolut unmöglich für ein Sushi-Restaurant. Wir hatten vor 10 Jahren schon schlechte Erfahrung dort, aber wollten den Restaurant noch eine Chance gebe. Es war definitiv die letzte Chance.

Ich war seit anderthalb Jahren nicht mehr hier und muss sagen dass ich ein bisschen enttäuscht war. Die Qualität der Rollen hat leider etwas nachgelassen womit das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr so wirklich passt. Mal schauen wie es beim nächsten Besuch ist

Um 14.00 Uhr haben wir es gewagt noch Sushi essen zu wollen, das Restaurant schließt um 15.00 Uhr, der Herr hinter dem Tresen rollte genervt mit den Augen und meinte er hätte keinen Bock für 2 Personen Sushi zu machen, für uns unverständlich das Restaurant war leer, vielleicht Augen auf bei der Berufswahl, wenn man keine Lust auf Gäste und die Einnahmen auch nicht nötig hat

Super tolle Idee mit dem „Fließband“, nette Mitarbeiter und man wird, wenn Zeit ist, nach seinen Sushi-Wünschen gefragt… ansonsten sowohl klassisches als auch ausgefallenes Sushi, sehr lecker

DON’T BOTHER! False advertisement. The mango chilly 'dip' is poured all over the food, (both meals- separate dishes)Which is also in the SAME box as my partners order. She is SEVERELY allergic to mango. We have spoken to the restaurant and they are arguing with us, saying they won't replace the items in the box despite the allergy factors. I said it isn't legal to mix all the foods, let alone with a sauce that is supposed to be in a separate container, that is now all over someone else’s meal too. They said the tiny pieces of fake grass is to separate the meals. At the end of the day, had the mango chilly 'dip' come in a container, as it was meant to/ and advertised as - then none of the issues would be happening. THAT - and they didn't send us the bottle of soy sauce that cost €3.50. The food should have been replaced or refunded. When you buy separate meals - they come in their own packaging - especially when it is a meal with meat and a separate vegetarian meal. But it is standard practice, that each order has its own packaging. They wouldn’t throw everyone’s Chinese or Italian takeaway into a single container?? Because it’s not supposed to happen at all!!!! And as for their claim, for it all being for environmentally friendly purposes... the box is made of plastic, the grass is plastic with bits of wire in it. The soy sauce comes in Sachets instead of tubs. I've lost money, and €31 is a lot of money to lose for a meal they won't replace or complete. I’ve reported them to Uber eats, and the local food health and safety quality commission. Absolutely disgusting customer service, representation of food, and sadly quality of service all around. If my partner eats anything from that box, she will end up in hospital. I only ordered my dish because it came with a dip - easy option to have the food without having to eat a sauce you don’t like.

As in all Sushi Friends stores, the food is first class and very tasty. But unfortunately the service still has a lot of room for improvement. We had to wait almost half an hour for our sushi and the packing and billing could also be improved. It also took a very long time. It is also very small and there are few seats and it was very cold because both doors were open

It was wonderful. The table was lovingly prepared, the service was quick and friendly. The sushi was very good and the offering was varied. Gladly again.
