We were there on Valentine's Day. It was very crowded. But again very tasty. You can eat good sushi. But not for poor people. €135 but good, they also went all out. Starter, decent sushi, dessert and cocktails. But everything is highly recommended.

There's nothing to complain about when it comes to food. The service is sometimes a bit overwhelmed by many guests. If we had known that the table was available for a limited time, we would have gone to another restaurant.

The food was delicious, the service was also very good and the time was always right. (Related to clearing etc.) Unfortunately, at the end we were asked to pay due to the scheduling because the next reservation was already there. Unfortunately, we found it very unfortunate and rude because we were then told that we could stay because we had ordered dessert in advance.

Great ambience and very good service. The baked shrimp as a starter was very tasty, as was the baked sushi, but the other sushi variants were less tasty and didn't convince me.

The four of us had dinner yesterday and we were thrilled. Great staff and incredibly delicious food. Everything came very quickly and was fresh. Always my pleasure!

Great food! The waiter was really friendly, and even though the restaurant was busy, he gave us the option to wait for a table or take our food to go. Overall, the food quality was great. The service could be improved just a bit to reach that perfect experience, but everything was still really good.

Despite having just placed another order, we were asked to pay the bill immediately. A social evening under time pressure is not possible here!

Full house on Friday at 6 p.m. and still very cozy and the acoustics were very good (you could have a good conversation). Service was perfect! For the main course I had crispy duck with peanut sauce! That was absolutely perfect too! Very attentive and really friendly service. Price-performance ratio: perfect! I'm thrilled. Many thanks to the Koi team.

Today we spontaneously came across this excellent sushi restaurant. We were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The drinks were very tasty and the sushi was really great and of good quality. We can recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

At 2 hour intervals it's just a disaster. Like an assembly line just to get more money in the evening. People can't even sit and chat, you have to order quickly, eat quickly and get out. The worst thing is that there is no information about every 2 hours anywhere, you only find out when you come to the restaurant.

Super delicious sushi. I can really only recommend it. The waitresses are always nice, the service is excellent and you don't have to wait long for your food. It should definitely be reserved in advance as it is always full, especially on weekends, but it is definitely worth it.

The food is always delicious. You have to be prepared for long waiting times, even if you order at a time and pick up. Unfortunately, the last time we made a mistake, I didn't realize it until I got home, despite repeatedly asking if it was possible to prepare a special request!

I have never eaten such delicious sushi in my life. I came especially from Hanover because my dad recommended the shop to me. I've eaten everywhere in Hanover, face, kouro or 6Sinne, but this shop has surpassed everything! Unfortunately, since we didn't know what we were ordering, the owner came and ordered us a mixed platter for 4 people. The owner and the staff are so sweet, friendly and simply helpful - any special requests were taken into account. The sushi was fresh, delicious and there was so much choice! I've honestly never eaten so deliciously in my entire life. From now on I will come EXTRA from Hanover more often. Simply great! Anyone who loves sushi...don't wait and run for it!

For 30 mins we waited for payment after dinner. Afterwards the waiter said he can not receive the payment on the table and ask us to the register. And we waited 20 mins for nothing.

Very good Japanese restaurant with a focus on sushi and bowls, which I hope will become an institution in Hameln. Very high quality, which I only really realized after I visited a previous favorite. In contrast to other reviews, I find the atmosphere to be very pleasant. The waitresses are all very attentive and friendly, but due to the (desirable) level of filling, it is advisable to make a reservation and bring a little time with you. The one star deduction for service only refers to this, but is actually a good sign.

We were there for dinner. It's best to reserve in the evening. The food was good and very filling. However, we sat near the kitchen, where the bell rang every time the dishes were finished. A bit annoying! Otherwise we were very satisfied, the prices were also okay! 👍🙂

The best restaurant in Hamelin! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Online reservation, very easy. Or order to pick up. Really nicely decorated and clean. You get a really nice welcome, it took 5 minutes to order an appetizer even though the Rappel shop was full. Waited 20 minutes at most for the main course, it was so incredibly tasty and simply a taste explosion! Of course there was also a small show with dry ice. If I could give the restaurant more stars, I would. I will definitely recommend the restaurant and I will definitely come back! Thank you for the great service, from reservation to payment, thank you for the kitchen for the incredibly delicious food! Keep it up!

Definitely worth a visit! The food is fantastic and is extremely creatively and beautifully prepared and served. Our favorite place when it comes to sushi. Not necessarily for people who don't like sushi. There are other dishes too, but not as much. The service is friendly. You can also order food to be picked up there. Quite expensive, but definitely worth the money!

Food super tasty, super fresh. We had Tuna Takaki, Tuna Tartar, Tuna raw, various signature rolls. Simply delicious. Super friendly staff. Just a very small detraction from the ambience.

very good Japanese restaurant, top level service, very tasty food. My husband and I ordered Tom Yang soup, I took tuna. The prices are reasonable; the soup costs seven euros; my tuna costs 24 euros. But the tuna did not have avocado as stated on the menu. This moment, of course, is not very pleasant for me, and since I really love avocados 🥑. Maybe the cook was dreaming about something and forgot to put it in. The restaurant itself is very clean, tidy, everything is at the highest level, you really feel like you are entering little Japan. And it’s very nice that this establishment has beer on tap - Krombacher, dark and light. In general, if you are here, this is a worthwhile place, you will get 100% quality. I took off one star for the avocado.

The atmosphere is great. Cosy. Tasty. But... The edges of the sushi were not neatly trimmed, that is, one piece was hollow and the other had uncut edges of the filling sticking out. But this is basically nonsense. I was more confused by the fact that a dish with half-eaten food was taken from our table long before we were about to leave))) At the very least, it is indecent for the visitor. Moreover, the empty coffee cups were not taken away. It was a little unpleasant.

The food is delicious, came really quickly and the service is super friendly. There was even a little show effect with dry ice during the meal. You can also pay by card. I am thrilled and can only recommend a visit!!

Everything's fine, we're our favorite sushi restaurant

Hm,… the best thing was the super nice service staff. We were here with a group, and when asked, she explained "sushi" to all of us in detail and willingly, with patience despite the full restaurant. I personally don't find the atmosphere that good, it's more like a train station hall, very loud when the restaurant is full. Unfortunately it wasn't particularly comfortable. Two or three fewer tables would result in more space, but of course also less income in the evening. To eat: All of us who ate sushi were satisfied. My starter, the teriyaki skewers, were delicious, but the bowl was unfortunately only ok in terms of taste. I had a much better experience of a comparable (spices, vegetables, salad, ingredients, meat, etc.) bowl here in Hamelin at another Asian restaurant. My overall rating this time is only 2 stars, but there will definitely be a second chance at some point.

Wonderful restaurant!!! My mother celebrated her 50th birthday in Koi (with 14 people) and it was wonderful. It was communicative and gave suggestions that could satisfy guests. The Koi staff and the management responded to every request and were able to satisfy every guest. As usual, the food was extremely delicious and well served. Once again a big thank you to the staff for the great organization :).

We went to the Koi Restaurant last night based on recommendations and are still thrilled. The service was super nice and totally accommodating, you immediately felt at home. The waiting times were short, everything came to the table at the same time, perfectly prepared and even with a cool dry ice effect (Perfect Instastory is safe 😆). The portions were large and the price-performance ratio was great. Everything is super fresh and extremely tasty, you can tell the quality of the ingredients is right here. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also a highlight – large 500ml glasses and absolutely delicious. Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come back!

You simply eat very well at Koi. Point. Again and again. I've never been disappointed. The portions, such as salads and bowls, are very generous. For example, if we order a bowl, we share it. The friendly staff are also happy to pack up the leftovers. Sushi, sashimi and the like leave (almost) nothing to be desired. Well, there is always room for improvement when it comes to perfection (5 rating), so when I rate a restaurant where I would like to get 50-60€ per person, then I would be happy if they paid more attention to the customers' wishes enters. Hence my suggestions for improvement: 1. I shouldn't expect the motto "If it's not on the menu, it doesn't exist" here. So every time I ask for a mixed sashimi plate with tuna, salmon etc. 2-3 pieces of each. No chance. No go, sorry. I can get that elsewhere too. Here you have to put it all together with 6 or 8 pieces of each, and then the sashimi just becomes too much too big. 2. If I have someone with me who doesn't speak German, I would be happy if they sent me someone who speaks English instead of me having to translate everything. An English card didn't come either. 3. if I want to know about the wines served, Vivino is more helpful than the staff. These are roughly the exemplary points that I miss for a 5 rating. But that’s “complaining at a high level.” Since there was not a single sushi restaurant in Hameln before 2020, Koi is really a highlight here with a great ambience and super delicious food.

We became aware of this restaurant through colleagues. Reservation was problem-free A reminder 1 day before. 👍 The atmosphere is very chic. You sit very comfortably and have enough distance from the next table. The food was great. There's almost nothing to complain about. (the panna cotta was a bit too firm, but that's complaining at a high level) Staff friendly, polite and always approachable. We will come back in any case. Maybe for lunch.
