Das Restaurant ist sehr großräumig, dadurch manchmal etwas laut. Aber das Essen ist super lecker und der Service sehr gut.

Ein Besuch aufjedenfall Wert! Das Essen ist fantastisch und wird außerordentlich kreativ und schön hergerichtet und serviert. Unsere Lieblingslokal wenn es um Sushi geht. Es gibt natürlich auch andere Gerichte, allerdings nicht so viel. Die Sushi-Auswahl wirkt aufjedenfall größer. Der Service ist freundlich. Man kann dort auch essen zum abholen bestellen. Recht teuer, aber sein Geld definitiv Wert!

Waren zu 4. dort. Essen und Homemade Drinks waren absolut lecker und empfehlenswert. Perfekte Portion gewesen. Der Laden war voll, weshalb leider ein Getränk in Vergessenheit geraten ist und das Essen etwas gedauert hat. Highlight ist jedoch die Spicy Edamame. 1€ Aufpreis, weil da ein scharfes Pulver drüber gestreut wurde 😭😭😭 Nichtmal alle Edamame waren somit „spicy“. Würde dennoch jedes mal wieder dort essen!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly exemplary. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous, always making sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Their constant awareness and genuine care really elevated the whole experience. Everything was also very clean, including the dining area and the restrooms, which added to the overall positive impression. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

Of course, KOI is in the "high-priced" category, but you definitely get your money's worth. I've never left the restaurant hungry; the food has always been delicious, and the presentation is always beautiful. We've been there many times and always come back.

Everything was great, only the staff were a bit too quick at clearing the table; you feel rushed. But that's probably just the local mentality.

Everything was really great across the board - homemade lemonades, fried dishes, soups, bowls, desserts - except for the high tables without footrests under the tables instead of under the wooden benches - which are missing to make it cozy.

Koi is definitely one of the best restaurants in Hameln. The sushi is of very high quality and the atmosphere is very inviting. The service was okay. The mochi ice cream for dessert is always a good choice! We'll definitely be back soon!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent once you're seated at your table. Unfortunately, the initial welcome is a bit cold, making you feel like you're intruding. Otherwise, it's practically perfect; even the restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

If you love sushi, this is the place for you. And who doesn't? They have fantastic bowl dishes 😋 There's something for everyone. Since it's always very busy, the noise level can be quite high. (Hence the one star deduction). The owner could definitely do something about the soundproofing. Sound-absorbing displays or pictures with sound-absorbing material behind them would be great. Due to its popularity, seating is limited to two hours. ☝️Reservations are a must!!! Parking is difficult but free in the side streets. Takeout is also available 👍

Once again, there was absolutely nothing to complain about with our meal. The main courses and the sushi were excellent. The service was very attentive, so all in all, a perfect experience.

Absolutely thrilled. I went here once with a friend as a trial run, before reserving a table for 18 people for a family celebration. I wasn't disappointed the first time, but never before has a restaurant catered to such a large group so smoothly and professionally. Everything worked perfectly as planned. From the reservation planning to the service on the day of the reservation, to the quality of the food, everything was just right. Friendly, competent, delicious, and the prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We were a party of eight. Our drink and food orders were taken promptly. The drinks arrived quickly, and our food took less than 30 minutes. My duck was exceptionally good and crispy. I would gladly order again. Birthday guests are serenaded – a nice touch.

This was the third and definitely the last chance we gave Koi. The reservation was messed up, we were asked if we wanted dessert after the appetizer (even though we hadn't even had our main course yet), and we waited over an hour for the main course. To top it off, the grilled salmon on the bowl was raw inside. We had to send it back. There are better Asian options in Hameln (e.g., The District).

The food was good. BUT!!!! Pad Thai as a chef's recommendation? We left everything. Everything. There were two plates of Pad Thai. Dry, without sauce. Very uninspired and, above all, disrespectful. The server was informed about it when the bill came. He just smiled. And added it all to the bill. It's not about the money, it's about the disrespect. You charged 35 euros for those two disgusting plates. We won't be coming back. We regularly spend at least 200 euros there every week. Yesterday, almost 200 euros again. Shame on you. Disrespectful.

We've been to Koi several times. The food is always delicious, whether it's sushi or bowls. The lunch menu is also highly recommended for its value for money. The service was very polite. When it's busy in the evening, it can get quite noisy.

A restaurant that truly deserves its 5 out of 5 stars! Delicious food, beautifully presented, with generous portions that will definitely leave you satisfied. Very attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. Table reservations are absolutely necessary, even during the week.

⭐ 1 star – absolutely not recommended I was truly shocked by the state of this restaurant. There was dirt on the floor, dust everywhere, and even in the kitchen, small insects were crawling around. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be a priority here. Unfortunately, I had severe diarrhea after eating – a clear sign that there are hygiene issues. I strongly advise against eating here.

Everything was great. The sushi was the best I've ever eaten. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and cozy. The service is also excellent. One star deducted because, unfortunately, you can't stay as long as you'd like. The times are set. Of course, the restaurant is busy, but after two hours, our evening there was unfortunately over.

The sushi and the food in general were very tasty. We were seated in a somewhat unfortunate position, so we were rarely spoken to by the service staff and therefore had to wait longer for our food.

We ate at the Koi Restaurant and it was an all-around fantastic experience! The sushi was absolutely fresh, beautifully presented, and tasted simply outstanding – you can immediately tell that a lot of love and high-quality ingredients go into the preparation. We were particularly impressed by the selection of creative sushi variations and the harmonious combination of flavors.

Koi Hameln – we need to talk. On July 22, 2023, I was here with my wife and two daughters – after a long day at the pool, hungry but in a great mood. I know the Koi in Bad Salzuflen well, and since the two establishments apparently belong together – same logo, almost identical menu – the decision was made quickly: Koi Hameln. The food back then? Excellent. Sushi of the usual quality – fresh, clean, precise. Just as sushi should be if you're serious about it. The service was friendly, attentive, the ambiance stylish, open, and modern. Less cozy than in Bad Salzuflen, yes – it's more winding, more intimate, almost familial. But the Hameln Koi also had charm. Just different. The menu was a bit of a surprise: familiar, but more extensive. More selection, including a great pho, which is only occasionally on the lunch menu in Bad Salzuflen. A small children's menu too – appealing. The bottom line: Koi Hameln won me over. I was thrilled, full, satisfied. But then came the summer of 2025. I came back – with joy, with anticipation. And left angry. Not because of the food. It was still decent. But because of the service. Something had changed – maybe the staff, maybe their attitude. In any case, the tone was no longer what I was used to – and what one would expect from a place like this. I was asked several times about my order. Comments like, "Do you really want to eat that much?" or "But that's four sushis" aren't charming; they're over the top. Yes, I'm fat. Yes, I like to eat. But that's my business – and nobody else's. When I order multiple courses, I do so consciously. To try, to share, to take home. I never felt welcome, but rather observed, judged, and belittled. Something like that doesn't just ruin an evening – it destroys trust. I came hungry and left angry. And that should never happen in a restaurant. I hope you turn things around. That you become what you once were: friendly, open, respectful. Because no matter how good the food is, without heart in the service, it remains empty. I've been to this restaurant several times, and the impressions are always the same. You feel completely welcome and well served. Very attentive, friendly staff. Fast service, and relatively short preparation times for the excellent quality of the food. The premises offer a very elegant atmosphere. The only downside is the noise level generated by the guests. Unfortunately, I've become very sensitive to noise and therefore notice it all the more. However, that doesn't stop me from already looking forward to my next visit to Koi.

All in all, a very successful evening. We're happy to come back again and again. The only thing that was a little surprising was that there were no more drinks available after 9:30 p.m., as the waitress said the bar was already being cleaned.
