The food was good. There were a lot of guests there. Very cozy. Unfortunately I couldn't pay by card.

We came to the restaurant spontaneously and barely managed to get a table without a reservation. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food selection is good, even for vegetarians. We took a recommendation. A pasta dish fresh from a Parmesan wheel with truffle and porcini mushrooms and it was fantastic. The recommended wine also tasted great with it. Absolutely recommended.

My husband had pizza and is still raving about the pizza base, my son had pork medallions baked with spinach and cheese, and he ate the entire sauce off the plate along with the bread. I had the best targatelli so far in champion cream sauce with fillet tips... We would be happy to come back

There were three of us there with our son and we had made a reservation for lunch. Which was a good thing, because the shop filled up quickly and the tables in the outdoor area were full. We all ate pizza and can't say anything negative, the dessert was also just great. So the Italian restaurant, which looks inconspicuous from the outside, is an absolute recommendation from us.

We had dinner here this evening and absolutely loved it! The service was great despite the full house! The pizza mega! What always counts for us is the friendliness towards our child - super nice! And at the end there was a grappa on the house, this kind of attention is rare anymore. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I went to eat dinner with a friend here on a Friday night. The place was busy but we got a table with no waiting time. The waiters took some time to attend to us because they were very busy. The food is good, almost authentic Italian even though the manager and staff are Albanian. Respect to their hard work as it looked like they were slightly under-staffed. The food and drink prices are rather high, but then for sure their operations cost went up with all the ongoing economic price inflation. Chatted with the manager a bit and he was very friendly. Attention, this restaurant unfortunately doesn’t accept Visa/Master/Amex; only accepts EUR cash and the domestic German bank cards which they call “EC card”.

I spent many wonderful hours there in 1989/90.

As soon as you enter the store you have the feeling of standing in a noble store. The atmosphere is cozy and chic at the same time. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me. The mixed starter platter was rather disappointing with the steamed vegetables and the watermelon with ham and also not very strong in taste. My girlfriend had the sirloin steak with vegetables and potatoes from the lunch menu for her main course. Visually, this dish looked a bit good, but unfortunately the taste wasn't that strong and it was also a bit tough. In terms of price, it was very fair at around €10. I had the pizza scampi which tasted good for my taste. I would imagine it might be a bit too strong in garlic content for others. In general I have nothing to complain about with the scampi, but it couldn't make up for the other two rather weak dishes. Our stay was still positive.

We went to this restaurant after our day of hiking. As a greeting from the kitchen there were olives with white bread. This was already a good start. I had a pizza. The dough is nice and big and crispy. Tomato sauce could be a little spicier, but still delicious. The noodles were good too, they said. Plenty of sauce with plenty of shrimp. Everyone was fed and everyone was at peace. Thank you

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Squid... felt like rubber. Barely chewable. I know from vacations what it can/should taste like. But here it's simply impossible. The prices have just been adjusted. Simply too expensive for this poor quality. Then I prefer to make my food at home. I can do better than that. 1 glass of wine that doesn't even taste good, over 5 euros... never again!

My partner and I spontaneously stayed at La Casa Vecchia on December 25th, 2023. We were lucky and got a table for two people. The service is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is delightful and the food is simply amazing! We ordered a 4 cheese pizza and a salami pizza. The dough was perfect and crispy, just as it should have come out of the stone oven. The ingredients are fresh and overall super tasty! The price cannot be beaten anywhere for the quality, the service and the ambience! We love good pizza and we'll be eating there more often! All in all, a great restaurant where you can't go wrong! We recommend it with conviction and thank you for the enjoyable evening.

Coincidentally in Zittau, and then this great restaurant! We felt a bit like we were in a good restaurant in Italy! The service was very nice and quick, the food was great (soup, salad, meat, fish)! Absolutely recommended!

Ein sehr schöner Abend, wir waren im Rahmen unserer Firmenweihnachtsfeier hier. Es gab ein sehr schönes und leckeres Buffet.

Wir hatten gerade unsere Betriebsweihnachtsfeier hier mit Buffet , es war super lecker.

Die Kinder haben sich als Belohnung für's Wandern in Oybin Spaghetti und Lasagne gewünscht. Google Maps hat "La Casa Vecchia" vorgeschlagen und obwohl es 7 km von unserer Unterkunft entfernt ist/war, habe ich auf den Google Vorschlag vertraut weil ich in der Vergangenheit viele gute Erfahrungen damit gemacht habe - so auch dieses mal! Das Ambiente ist wunderbar gemütlich italienisch, die Karte ist nicht sehr groß aber die Speisen ausgewählt und doch ist für jeden etwas dabei. Ich war erst skeptisch weil die Kinderspeisen und meine Vorspeise optisch nicht viel her gemacht haben. Die Kinder haben aber schon nach den ersten Happen gesagt das sie noch nie so gute Pasta gegessen haben. Meine Minestrone war auch echt lecker aber vielleicht habe ich zu viel erwartet und das "Besondere" hat mir bei dieser einfachen "Bauernspeise" gefehlt. Das war aber sofort vergessen als mein Hauptgang kam. Frisch zubereitete Nudeln im Parmesanleib flambiert, dazu Steinpilzsauce und frisch geriebener Trüffel. Die Zubereitung am Platz ist erstmal was für's Auge und der Geschmack war vielmehr eine Geschmacksexplosion!!! Dieser grandiose Hauptgang hat mein Feinschmeckerherz zum Schmelzen gebracht - ich war lange nicht so sprachlos und berührt/gerührt wegen etwas "lebensnotwendigem" - denn das ist es ja im Großen und Ganzen was "essen" ist.

Wir waren in der Woche zum Abendessen dort. Der vordere Raum des Restaurants war gut besucht. So wurden wir in den Nachbarraum geführt. Dieser war leider etwas ungemütlicher aber trotzdem sauber und gastlich. Der Kellner kam sofort und schnell waren Getränke und des Essen bestellt. Alles kam zeitnah, gleichzeitig und heiß auf den Tisch. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend. Herzlichen Dank.

Leider waren wir gar nicht begeistert. Bier hat abgestanden geschmeckt, Vorspeisenplatte bestand aus kalten eingelegtem Gemüse, das Fleisch bei den Nudeln war absolut trocken, Pizza hat uns leider auch nicht umgehauen. Schade

Solides italienisches Restaurant, mit leckerer und frischer Pasta, sowie leckeren Pizzen. Wartezeiten waren etwas lang, aber insgesamt Okay.

Sehr leckeres Essen bei nettem Service und gutem rustikalen italienischen Ambiente. Die Pizzen sind alle sehr empfehlenswert, der Salat hat leider nicht überzeugt. Sehr angenehm sind die Oliven mit dem Brot vorher und der Schnaps nachher.

Eine tolle Pizza, eine von den besten die ich je gegessen habe. Sehr angenehme Bedienung. Danke, wir kommen nochmal!
