It's a shame about the terrible service the last time I was there. Poor, unfriendly, and unpolite service. Pity, as the place used to offer good Portuguese dishes.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had reserved a table for lunch, including food, because we had specifically mentioned on the phone that we were only coming for the food. After a short walk in the rain, as there were no proper parking spaces, We were then told that there was nothing left... We weren't offered any alternatives either. A 30-minute drive each way for nothing!

A little Portugal in the middle of a Frankfurt allotment garden. The food is freshly prepared according to original Portuguese recipes. I ordered port wine from Porto (unusually) with my meal. The waiter was pleased that we spoke Portuguese with him. You either like the ambiance or you don't. Not for people who can't stand a large group in one room.

The seafood rice was the best. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Quaint setting.

Portuguese homemade cuisine, a taste of home. Superbly delicious food. Great atmosphere. The value for money is simply top-notch. It's a pleasure to go there. The noise level is typically Portuguese...there's a real buzz here. A very nice beer garden with a view of the allotments. You should be a good walker, as the restaurant is located in the heart of the allotment association, but it's not too strenuous. And on weekends, they offer additional specials, such as the delicious pork loin.

Great food! Everything was delicious. We had sea bream, steak, appetizers, desserts, Vinho Verde... My highlight were the potato chips. They're called fries here.

If you like Portuguese cuisine, this is the place for you. The fish dishes are good. The service is friendly.

A great place, simple and good. Very authentic, just the way we like it. The food was delicious! We ordered sangria and the waiter accidentally knocked over a glass. A small mishap that was forgivable. However, we would have expected a replacement! At the end of the meal, we noticed that the salad that accompanied the sea bream, as stated on the menu, hadn't been brought. Unfortunately, we were still charged for it. An apology wasn't enough for us at this point. We still enjoyed it and will be back!

Very tasty Portuguese food and friendly service!💞 Everything is delicious. We love coming here again and again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always busy. Parking is a bit tricky, as you can't park in the garden parking lot. But a short walk quickly solves this problem.

🇵🇹🇩🇪 In the Niederrad neighborhood, between urban gardens and company buildings, is this restaurant that reminds me of a typical snack bar. The cuisine is exquisite, with large portions and super friendly staff. We went for the meat, but they have traditional cod dishes. 💶 30 to 40 euros per person * Reservations are essential, and they don't accept card payments. Bring cash, as there are no ATMs nearby.

Such delicious food. I've eaten there several times over the years, and it's still as good as ever. Highly recommended, even if it doesn't look like it from the outside. You can eat delicious tapas there.

Great Portuguese food in a pleasant atmosphere. Although we unfortunately no longer live in Frankfurt, we come back here whenever we get a chance. On weekends, they serve roasted veal, fechuada, or suckling pig. Definitely try it! Reservations recommended! Be careful when parking, preferably outside the allotment colony, as the colony's new administration is ensuring proper German order and rigorously towing vehicles. Therefore, it's best to park on Lyoner Straße or in the adjacent office area (see photo).

I'm thrilled with this restaurant. The food was excellent and extremely affordable. The huge portion with salad, aeoli, and 0.4 apple spritzer was an incredible €25. The restaurant is located in an allotment garden community and is simple but very quaint, with very friendly staff. I'd love to come back next time I'm in Frankfurt 🤩👍👍 Top

Great selection of Portuguese dishes. If you arrive by tram 12, you will need to walk a small tracking trail and enter a small gate that leads to a path in the middle of small houses with gardens. I highly suggest the bacalhau (cot) fish, including the bolinhos de bacalhau. Keep in mind that, unfortunately, they do not accept bank card.

Great restaurant in the center of Frankfurt! We were welcomed without a reservation, the food and service were great. The only downside is that they only accept cash. Very friendly staff and great location. Highly recommended!

We know Jacinta and Ruis from Offenbach. It was the best Portuguese restaurant so far. But today, ONE service employee took the cake. €100-120 of quick revenue wasted. Good staff is hard to find and even harder to retain. Rudely turning away guests at 2:34 PM because the kitchen is supposedly closed, while food is still being served from the kitchen to the terrace and the interior is practically empty, is a complete disgrace. Especially since the internet/Google states that the quiet time is from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Not from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Instead of letting guests drive there for nothing to experience rudeness and arbitrary break times, a professional business should ensure its proper online presence and appropriate guest treatment. It may be due to the alleged change of operator, scheduled for July 1, 2025. It is said that it will be taken over by a Turkish-Portuguese operating partnership starting on that date. We'll be curious to see whether the new operators will receive a response like ours starting July 1, 2025, leading to improvements. If not, there's still "DER PORTUGIESE," a two-minute drive away, on BRUCHFELDSTRASSE, in Frankfurt-Niederrad.

A very nice Portuguese inn located in a clubhouse. Delicious, authentic Portuguese food immediately puts you in a relaxed holiday mood. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is in the middle of the garden. Place is large but indoor dining area was for reservation. We had lunch in terrace but wasn't really cold and the ambiance was nice. Food was nice but a bit oily. Staff were friendly as well ! Ah and prepare cash or paypal.

The suckling pig is so good you'll beg for more - it almost feels like you're on a budget. The service, like the food, is always top notch and never disappoints. It's always 100% worth it, even if you're coming from far away.

Good authentic food, friendly staff and prices are reasonable. We always visit this place for "bacalhau" (dried cod) and "arroz de marisco" (rice stew with seafood for 2 people) if you know and love these dishes you should visit this place. But the other dishes are also good and the prices are reasonable.

Great restaurant in the middle of Frankfurt 😊 We arrived there without booking in advance, although a booking was needed they did get us a table and we placed our orders. The food was great, the service as well, however the only issue was that they do not accept cards 💳 payment only cash. I will strongly recommend this restaurant. The staffs are very friendly and the location is breathtaking.

Customer since 2015. The food remains great, the service has become inconsistent, alternating between hardworking and rough. To be chased away by "professionals" who claim to "work in the best hotels in Frankfurt" but who then lack the slightest delicacy when dealing with customers, it's best to stay at home. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

Very tasty here 😋 If you want to have a cozy and good Portuguese meal, you can eat here. It is IMPORTANT that you reserve a table in advance, otherwise it will be difficult. As a starter, olives, alioli, bread and a nice freshly tapped Super Bock 🍺👍 I had Bacalhau à Brás and my wife had a nice salad plate, and for dessert we had Bolo de bolacha 👌 I can only recommend.

Everything was very good, except the service. Selective employees, if you are Portuguese or Brazilian, treat you "differently". The impression we had is that they don't like having Portuguese customers in the restaurant.

Very nice, quiet, remote location within an allotment colony. You can eat both indoors and outdoors. Price performance is very acceptable for the current conditions and very satisfactory according to the quality and taste of the food and friendly service.

Appalling & despicable staff. The restaurant would not serve my friend and I because we had not made a reservation. I asked if a reservation is mandatory & if it mentions this on their website, answer to both was no. They would not accommodate a party of 2 even though the restaurant was completely empty except for a table seating 5 people. Meanwhile the restaurant sits easily 40+ guests. I have worked in the restaurant & service industry for half of my life and never have I experienced such unfriendliness & lack of empathy and hospitality. The worst part of it all, there was a thunderstorm and massive rain showers and they would not even offer to let us at least have a drink. The location of the restaurant is also in the middle of nowhere, instead of having a hospitable reaction to us then needing to go back out in the rain, rude and unfriendly goodbyes is what we were given. Absolutely deplorable behavior.

Lovely, warm and welcoming staff. The food is authentic portuguese, I had the Bacalhau à Brás and it was super tasty, the rissois, pasteis and prosciutto are also definitely worth trying! Really recommend it to anyone who loves homemade, delicious food. Can’t wait to come back!

I arrived to eat 1 hour and a half before closing and they didn't let me sit down or order, because the kitchen closed in half an hour. I told them that I was willing to order quickly, all at once, and they didn't want to, with the excuse that the kitchen would tell them off if more orders came in.

I was on vacation with my family today (February 18, 2024). Hidden in the clubhouse of an allotment garden association in Frankfurt/Main (Niederrad district), the “Tasquinha da Jacinta” opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The furnishings don't fit into the holiday image, but what can you expect from a typical German clubhouse in terms of furnishings (except for professional sports)… But the atmosphere - like in Portugal in a typical restaurant: loud, crowded (only with reservation!!!) full of delicious smells, with a display fridge for the bottled beer and another for the desserts - so that you know before you eat for which you should reserve some appetite. A clear, one-page menu has something for everyone, including starters. Just because of the incomparably wonderful atmosphere, I would have eaten the menu from above if I could... After a few small details, the choice of main courses fell on octopus (Lulas grelhadas), cod (Bacalhau a Bràz) and a beef steak with fried egg (Bitoque de vaca). Everything was excellent, the cod was a bit too oily, but you could compensate for this with a little lemon juice without destroying the basic taste. The house wine was also a hit, mild and yet full-bodied – very tasty. What looks like chips in the photos is one of many Portuguese variants of/alternatives to French fries. The store was packed and I can understand why that is: The overall impression is fantastic, starting with the friendly service staff, the ambience, the atmosphere and the food - an insider tip (for a short vacation 😉). A time out that remains totally down-to-earth in terms of price and yet invigorates all the senses. By the way: The Portuguese cuisine and the wines are in no way inferior to their Spanish, Italian and French counterparts. In Portugal, they just didn't put as much effort into marketing. Good thing, then it will remain an insider tip and will surprise many more people.

Typical portuguese restaurant where you can try authentic homemade food. The staff is really kind and the food is fresh, having tried multiple dishes I would recommend “Vitela Assada”. The environment is what you could expect from a restaurant, not so much a “tasca”. Therefore I would say this can be considered an upgrade.

A bit hidden in Frankfurt's financial district, you will find this super authentic Portuguese restaurant in the middle of gardens. The food was really very good and very reasonably priced. In summer you can sit outside nicely, the interior was rather unspectacularly furnished. We were there with our Portuguese work colleagues who really praised the food.
