Kismet in Bremen

Ich war mit meiner Familie auf dem Weg in die Niederlande und wir machten einen Zwischenstopp in Bremen. Wir wollten dort zu Mittag essen und fanden einen kleinen Imbiss am Straßenrand. Der Service war sehr gut und das Essen hervorragend. Ich kann ihn wirklich empfehlen.

Wir kamen in Bremen an und beim Bummeln entdeckte ich den Namen „Kısmet“ und dachte: „Das muss ein türkisches Unternehmen sein.“ Wir unterhielten uns zunächst auf Englisch, und als wir dann anfingen, Türkisch zu sprechen, wurde uns sofort geantwortet. :) Die Gespräche waren unglaublich angenehm, das Personal freundlich – wir waren sehr zufrieden. :) Wir aßen einen Chicken-Wrap, der einfach legendär war. Wenn ihr mal in Bremen seid, solltet ihr Kısmet unbedingt ausprobieren.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet und das Essen köstlich. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich, die Preise angemessen und die Portionen großzügig. Ich kann einen Besuch absolut empfehlen.

Super Durchschnittsalter. Immer wieder lecker. Rollo auch gut. Nettes Personal.

Niemand mit Selbstachtung würde diesen sogenannten „Döner“ (türkischen Kebab) essen. Es gibt nichts Schlimmeres auf der Welt; es ist das Schlimmste überhaupt. Bitte haltet euch davon fern.

Wir haben am 21. Mai 2026 zwei Döner Kebabs gegessen. Sie waren fantastisch. Wir bekamen sogar kostenlosen Tee. Der freundliche Service und die Aufmerksamkeit haben uns sehr gefreut. Beste Grüße.

Wir waren am 14. Mai dort und haben einen wirklich köstlichen Döner Kebab mit reichlich Zutaten zu einem äußerst günstigen Preis gegessen. Ich habe nur 9,50 € für eine Portion Döner und ein Getränk bezahlt; der Preis ist angesichts der Qualität und Portionsgröße sehr angemessen. Neben dem Geschmack hat uns auch die überaus höfliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Art des Inhabers und des Personals sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und den leckeren Döner, ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Immer wenn ich von spanien zu besuch in Bremen Bin ist es ein muss für mich ein leckeren döner Brot mit kalpfleisch ohne alles zu essen. Super lecker, guter preis 7,50€ entre angestelten an der theke. Leckeres brot mit ganz viel fleisch super lecker. Gerne wieder. Bis bald kardeşler

Glatte 5 Sterne,freundliche Bedienung, das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Es war mega lecker. Zum ersten Mal habe ich einen Hänchendöner gegessen wo das Fleisch nicht diese komischen Fettstückchen hatte. Es war mega zart. Das Brot auch mega. Alles in allem sehe sehr lecker.Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Der Döner war köstlich und die Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Bremen bin.

Richtig gut 👍 eine 9/10 gutes Brot, leckeres Fleisch, die geizen nicht echt solide und normaler Preis.Toll weiter so.

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir aßen einen Hähnchen-Wrap und waren vom Geschmack absolut begeistert. Der Laden ist blitzsauber.

Sehr gute Musik, durchgehend geöffnet und der beste Kebab, den ich je gegessen habe. Die Zubereitung dauerte übrigens keine 10 Minuten. Die Fleischqualität ist hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker. Der Döner Kebab ist reichlich belegt. Es ist einer der wenigen Läden, die auch nachts noch geöffnet haben.

Sehr gute Kebabs, ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

A good restaurant close to the central station, run by Turks from Hatay, with 3-4 Turkish staff, offering clean, delicious products at reasonable prices.

Always busy - good portions at fair prices - It's not a steak kebab or anything like that, but everything is perfect. Rollo portions used to be larger.

This is where you can find the best kebab in Bremen! It's truly delicious, and the owner is very friendly and enjoys serving his guests, which you can really tell. 👍

We decided to visit Kismet based on the many positive reviews claiming it’s the best kebab in town. Honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was good, the portion was generous, and the price was cheap — but that’s really it. There was nothing particularly memorable or unique about the taste. It wasn’t bad by any means, but not something I’d go out of my way to try again. If you’re nearby and want a quick bite, it’s fine. But if you’re expecting something special, you will leave underwhelmed.

Awesome kebab, super fresh vegetables. Friendly staff too. The price is pretty reasonable for the quality; definitely recommended. The location is okay; the tram is a bit annoying, but it's bearable. We waited maybe two minutes maximum for our food, so it was really great.

We had previously gone after reading positive reviews, even someone like me who had never eaten döner in Turkey was amazed by its taste. In fact, years ago in Berlin, I had tasted a piece of it upon the advice of my friend who said ‘try this döner without tail fat’, that was the first time I had eaten döner and its taste remained on my palate, this is the second time. I definitely recommend Kısmet döner with its sauces and plenty of meat. It was also a pleasure to meet my fellow countryman Ozan Bey from Mersin and talk about Mersin. I would like to thank him from here too 🙏🏻 may he earn a lot.

I was there recently and bought a Dürüm (dish meat) – it was delicious, the meat was very juicy. It wasn't too big, and I was able to fill myself up. The staff is also very friendly, and the atmosphere was fun – so if I'm in Bremen again (and hungry), I'll definitely recommend it. 👍

We ate this doner kebab in Bremen and it was amazing! All sauces are fresh and have plenty of ingredients. Unfortunately, we came for a day trip, otherwise we might have become addicted🤤. Be sure to try it! 💯

We started eating the doner kebab thinking it was delicious, but two hairs came out of it. The portion was big, the doner kebab was delicious, but I think it was very poor in terms of hygiene. If I came back, I would never go there.

This is the place we dream about! This is our first stop on every visit to Bremen. We try to eat here every day, sometimes a couple of times/day. We get their spicy Döner Rollo. We've tried them all over Germany and this is our favorite. They are friendly, efficient, offer a good value, and make delicious food. What's not to love? Go. You won't regret it.

At “Kismet Döner & Frites” you immediately feel welcome! The staff at the counter are incredibly friendly, warm and in a good mood - their positive nature is contagious and ensures that you will have fond memories of your visit. The food is fantastic: a great selection, fresh ingredients and the taste is on point. There are also fair prices that make the overall package perfect. Absolutely recommended for anyone who appreciates delicious food and courteous service.

Phew, my first rollo will also be my last: This Bremen version of Dürüm impresses with run-of-the-mill "veal" industrial kebab, grated cheese, a hint of lettuce, lots of mayo sauces and neutral bread. That may have been something in the 80s, but today it's just below average - and that for €8!

NOTE: Take this comment into consideration. -We couldn't find food in Bremen at the weekend and came across a doner restaurant again. I'm glad we met. It has a lot of material. I recommend "Roll" because the extra green material it puts in it saturates it well. You immediately feel full after eating half of the roll cut into 2 pieces. Save the other one for the end of the day, it's perfect. Definitely give it a chance.

I have never eaten such a good doner kebab even in Türkiye. We tried the roll, it tasted very good. Bremen is a place worth visiting.

So it's totally fine for a small snack. Price-performance ratio was also maintained. The only thing that could be changed are the chairs, because they were pretty wobbly and probably a bit older otherwise a great experience.

The food was very tasty at Kismet. It's neat and clean. I had a large kebab with coke. The taste was very good with a slight spiciness and meat from lamb and chicken. The price is also good. If you want to have a delicious meal, you should stop at the beginning of Sögestrasse.

I think this is by far the best döner restaurant in Bremen. It is a place that can easily enter the top 5 according to the doner kebab I have eaten in many parts of Germany and in the places mentioned in the most famous lists. You should definitely try it.

It's an old school Turkish Kebab restaurant, somewhat Legendary in Bremen. The owner established this resto in the 90's (CMIIW) and the business still run ing up until now. Everytime me and mt wife had lunch there, we always bought Donner Teller Mix. The taste is really good and you could ask the waiter to add spices in your food. From more than 20 turkish kebab shop that I've ever visit in northern Germany, this one is the top of the list. We always ate there whenever we visit the city. Keep up the good work

I was here for the first time today and last time for dinner too. Was very bearable. I've already eaten and I had diarrhea all the time after going to the toilet, so the sauce is not normal and the meat is also very old.

We weren't very hungry and they served us a doner roll for both of us on two trays. The cook was very friendly, we don't know German and he made himself understood. The roll was delicious, we ate it right there at some tables next to them.

Spectacular flavor and very good prices

I'll tell him just a little spicy, please. But it tastes as if he had grated 4 habanero chilies into it. Less is more. I can handle a certain amount of spiciness. But they wouldn't even eat this in India. Couldn't finish my food. Otherwise normal kebab.

Health risk! Doner kebab is extremely small, hardly fills you up and doesn't taste good. Meat is pre-cut and is super dry. And the worst part wasn't the taste.

We went to order some kebab and they treated us like we were stupid. Since we ordered in English, they would think that we didn't know German and when we were about to pick them up they started to laugh at us speaking in German, thinking that we didn't understand them but we did. Honestly it was just to leave the food and go. As a person, I don't recommend it at all.

Good shop, thrives on its pleasant employees and a polite boss. Doner kebab and kebab rollo are above average. You can go there without any remorse. Likes the store. It's always tastier, but no one can complain about the price and performance!
