It was our first time there and certainly won't be our last. The service was excellent and not at all intrusive. All questions were answered very well. The food was also very good.

We stumbled upon Kiriko in Krefeld. Super friendly staff, a great atmosphere, great prices, and incredibly delicious ramen. Highly recommended!

It was our first time eating ramen, so we weren't very familiar with the place. The server answered all our questions very patiently and politely, and in the end, we had a wonderful culinary experience. Here, Japanese dishes are merely imitated, and a vegetarian broth is served as tonkotsu broth. The karaage is also poorly fried with an inauthentic seasoning coating, and the gyoza lacks rice vinegar. This place wouldn't last a month in Düsseldorf. Disappointing.

I had a 9 p.m. reservation, and the waiter asked us why we were so late after the meal. According to Google, reservations are available until 11 p.m. I didn't feel comfortable toward the end.

You really don't have to drive all the way to Düsseldorf to get good ramen anymore. The only downside is that the place isn't very busy. Grab it, folks ;)

Yesterday we visited Kiriko Ramen – and what an experience! For a long time, we resisted food trends like bubble tea or Dubai chocolate, so as not to imitate everything like NPCs. But Kiriko proved us wrong. We received a warm welcome and perfect instructions. The menu quickly helped us find what we were looking for. The dishes were a delight: authentic, fresh, and prepared with love. We were particularly impressed by the rich broth and the high-quality ingredients. Upon request, they added an extra dose of spice – just our thing! 😋 When thanking the chef, we learned that the restaurant is family-run: The mother works magic in the kitchen, while the son serves with charm. Imported Japanese beer and small, authentic touches round out the experience. Kiriko is more than just ramen – it's a piece of Japan in the heart of the city!

Now I understand the very good reviews here. I couldn't believe it and had to try it myself. Yes, very good service, the server was friendly, and the food was outrageously delicious. It wasn't too expensive and had a good portion of Tonku Shoyu Ramen.

The food at Kiriko was simply fantastic! The ramen was super flavorful with a wonderfully creamy broth, perfectly cooked eggs, and tender meat—true soul food. It was accompanied by crispy takoyaki and delicious kimchi, all lovingly prepared. The atmosphere was cozy and the service friendly. A special meal for me because I was invited by my son for the first time and we were not disappointed: From the warm welcome from the owner, the competent but unobtrusive explanation of the various dishes to the delicious ramen soup: everything was perfect! When three really, very young boys ordered soup and shared it, it was very nice to see how relaxed the owner dealt with this situation. Very confident and friendly in any case! Today we spontaneously went to Kiriko's with our 5 year old daughter and we all really enjoyed it. The shoyu and tonkotsu broth were perfect, as was the ramen, and the fresh vegetables rounded everything out. After a brief consultation with our very friendly waitress, we decided on the Kimura Ramune as a drink, which was very refreshing. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Kiriko is a nice, small ramen restaurant in downtown Krefeld. A little inconspicuous from the outside, it's worth going inside. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The service is extremely polite, helpful and friendly, and questions are answered courteously. The ramen is really delicious, excellent broths, fresh, tasty ingredients. A very nicely run family restaurant with really great ramen! The portions are more than sufficient - I took almost half of my soup with me. The service is very courteous and explains everything in detail. The atmosphere is pleasantly cozy. For me, the ramen here is much better than the ones you get in Düsseldorf. You can also park here in a relaxed manner, make reservations and don't have to wait in a queue in the cold. :-) We'll be back!

Anyone who wants to try Japanese has come to the right place. I really enjoyed the karaage, gyoza and miso soup and the staff were also very polite. From now on I will always have dinner here on my Dokomi holiday.

We had the all-inclusive package, food selection on a tray, it was uncomplicated with plenty of choice and the dishes were served promptly. I don't really have a comparison, but the ramen was super tasty, fresh and really worth the price. The shop also looks good and the family that runs it is very friendly. There are now card payments and an internet presence. Perfect. All in all, a clear recommendation.

We've been here several times now and always bring friends because it's just great. We have now tried almost everything on the menu and have been thrilled every time. Cozy atmosphere and super nice service and advice every time. In terms of taste, the shop easily competes with Düsseldorf's Immermannstrasse, and since the price/performance ratio is simply better here, it has become our absolute favorite. The ramen is okay, but not comparable to shops in Düsseldorf (e.g. Takumi), both in terms of price and taste. But what disappointed me enormously was the quality of side dishes like karaage or kimchi. The kimchi tastes like it comes from a can and the karaage is really overbearing. In the photos you can see what I received as a "karaage". I ate both in-store and by ordering and didn't notice much of a difference. There is almost no chicken in the karaage and if there is, it looks extremely inferior to me. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. And I don't understand what this packaging is supposed to do either. For the first time I see how everything was thrown into the same box (karaage, sauce, some kind of powder).

The staff and owners are fully committed and stand behind their product. The atmosphere is harmonious and I really liked it. The food is of incredibly good quality. I first ordered through Lieferando and fell in love straight away, but then I liked it even better on site.

So, I have to disagree with the last review. In no way is it better than the Takumis in Düsseldorf - that's a huge exaggeration. I want to put it positively: people are trying hard here at Kiriko. Unfortunately, compared to the Düsseldorf standard ramen soups, it is only mediocre (i.e. 3+). The broth is crucial, just like the rice is the tip of the scale in sushi. But we were welcomed very nicely by the owner's brother and that's what counts.

Yesterday I and my friend ate at Kiriko's for the first time. Since we had never been there before and had little idea, we were given great advice. We both ordered Surf and Turf Kiriko Style Ramen (spicy) and loved the taste! The waitress was also totally friendly and open to small talk. Atmosphere: When you enter Kiriko, you are greeted by the chilled atmosphere. The decor is a cool mix of modern and traditional Japanese style - warm lighting, pretty little details and a relaxed ambience that invites you to linger. You feel really comfortable there. I never stay there for less than 2 hours ;-) Service: The service? top! You will be warmly welcomed. The crew is super friendly, attentive but not pushy, and always willing to help choose your ramen. They know the menu inside out and are happy to make recommendations. Orders are taken quickly and the food comes to the table quickly - just right when you're hungry! Big praise to the pleasant team Kiriko! Eat: Now comes the main player: the food! The ramen here is amazing! The broths? Aromatic, rich, hot and simply delicious. You can decide the level of spiciness yourself, from not spicy to very good and intense spiciness. The freshly prepared noodles are perfectly al dente and the portions are more than generous. If you are afraid of not being full there, a larger portion can be brought to the table for an additional charge of €2. No matter whether you like meat, seafood, vegetables or a vegetarian option, everyone will find something here that will make their mouth water. You can also put together your own ramen, so to speak, there are at least 15 toppings to choose from and around 6 different broths that you can vary. Many different side dishes such as delicious takoyaki, homemade kimchi (the best I've had so far as an Asian fan), refreshing crunchy cucumbers in a kind of sesame-chili marinade and much more, are the perfect complement to any ramen and a must! For the extra Japan vibes: The cult drink, “Ramune” lemonade with the unique glass ball cap, is also available there. Prices: The prices? Totally fair! For the quality and generous portions, you really can't complain here. E.g. Surf & Turf Kiriko Style €16.80 spicy miso ramen with 3 sturdy pieces of karaage, 4-5 prawns, pak choi, bamboo, bean sprouts, soft egg and perfectly cooked noodels, as I said as a generous portion. But you can also get a first-class ramen for €12, depending on which toppings you choose, without breaking your budget. Hello there, For anyone who finds my review too long - it is highly recommended. We ordered the 🐔 gyoza and teriyaki 🐔 as starters, both highly recommended. The main course was miso ramen with karaage, the broth was tasty, the noodles were firm to the bite and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. To drink we drank the homemade passion fruit iced tea 👍🏼 and for dessert there was an egg cake with red bean paste (dorayaki). Try it on the house😊 The service is very courteous and always polite and all employees are always friendly and open to questions at any time. The atmosphere is very inviting and the location of the restaurant is great and can be easily reached by car, train, bike or on foot. Until next time 😉 Arigato 🤞😋

The restaurant is very cozy inside, bright and modern. Unlike the usual Asian restaurants, the decoration here is simple and does not use any clichés but rather combines culture with everyday life. The ramen is very, very tasty and completely reasonable for the price. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but you get a large portion with fresh ingredients which are also very nicely prepared. The homemade iced teas are very refreshing without tasting artificial or being too sweet - a perfect refreshment. The side dishes also fit harmoniously with the main courses. I was craving ramen in the evening and Kiriko delivered. Service is super fast and nice, thank you for that! Karaage is almost always recommended anyway. The traditional Tokyo Shoyu Ramen was really tasty, and really rivaled some portions I've had in Tokyo!
