Het duurde een half uur voor we ons drinken überhaupt konden bestellen, eenmaal het drinken besteld ging er nog eens 20 minuten overheen, maar nog geen drinken. Wij hebben na en uur besloten om te vertrekken, dus gaven aan dat ons drinken niet meer gebracht hoefde te worden, toen werd ons gezegd dat we gewoon geduld moesten hebben en dat we meer begrip moesten hebben dat het druk was terwijl we netjes aangaven dat wij een afspraak hadden staan en weg moesten. En daarbij komt ook dat alle tafels om heen al aan het eten waren terwijl zij later dan ons binnen kwamen en wij nog geen eens drinken hadden

What a great restaurant, I've eaten there a number of times and it's always been great, I've never had such a delicious snitzel before. Very friendly and quick service and excellent service. TOP!!!!!

I love eating here every time I visit my boyfriend in Emmen. It’s a quick drive across the border to get here. All of the schnitzel is delicious, but my favorite one is the one with mushroom sauce and with fried onions on top. The schnitzel also came with a salad with delicious dressing. I can’t wait to come back again!

Disinterested staff. Schnitzels very small, and also burnt black, as well as the fried egg and onion. Sent back...schnitzels had been replaced, but egg and onion had not.

Isn't what it used to be anymore. Nothing wrong with the food. But friendliness and spontaneity are hard to find. It was a cold and chilly experience. Shame.

Really a nice restaurant. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The staff was friendly and helpful. We decided on the first evening that we would come back the next day. What was surprising was the possibility of getting almost every dish as a vegan version. If we're in the area again we'll definitely come back. Unfortunately, the parking space quickly reaches its limits, which also speaks for the quality of the food.

The food was okay, the cheeseburger was good, the mixed chicken plate looked like some pieces had been a bit over-fried. The staff was friendly but didn't try very hard, it was very hot and we had to wait a long time to order our drinks even though the place was almost empty. Okay for a break in between, but otherwise there is still room for improvement in some areas.

We always take a break there when we ride our motorbike to Assen for the MotoGP. Very tasty and inexpensive. The staff is 1A. We like to stop there.

Eating on site is always very good at Kiek in de Pann. The dishes are tasty and the service is friendly. However, when we order, both by telephone and online, they often forget half of the order. This has actually happened to us more than five times now. It's very annoying, especially if you only find out at home and miss part of your meal. Tip for collectors: check the order immediately on site. There is still room for improvement for Kiek in de Pann. Hopefully this will be resolved soon so that the takeaway experience becomes as good as the on-site dining experience.

Friendly staff, we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. Everything was well organized and it tasted delicious, definitely worth repeating again.

Stond op camperplaats vlakbij. Bestellen ging vlot, eten was snel klaar. Jagerschnitzel met friet was prima. Sla erbij (apart bakje) was oud!! Kip schnitzel was net-aan gaar. Frietjes apart verpakt waren slap en veel te zout. Kortom: had ik pech of zijn de negatieve reacties verdwenen???

The schnitzel was no thicker than a slice of sausage. We gave it back to the waitress and complained. We ate at the market store.

Today I ended up at Schnitzelrestaurant Kiek in de Pan with two friends during a tour. What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant has a beautiful terrace where we could enjoy the beautiful weather and a delicious meal. The schnitzels were large and tasty, just the way you want them. Perfectly baked and well seasoned, with a crispy crust and a juicy interior. It is clear that attention is paid to the quality of the food here. In addition, the food was surprisingly affordable, which is definitely a plus. We ordered a large glass of cold iced tea, which paired perfectly with the meal. The iced tea was refreshing and tasty, an ideal thirst quencher on a hot day. The service was friendly and efficient. The employees made us feel welcome and were ready to help us where necessary. The terrace itself is a nice place to sit, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All in all it was a very successful experience. For the price, the quality of the food and the friendly service, Schnitzelrestaurant Kiek in de Pan is definitely a place we will come back to. Recommended!

Delicious schnitzel food here. Typical German restaurant, good food and not expensive.

Unexpectedly delicious and reasonably priced!

Everything was clean. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes weren't cooked through, and the onions (fried in the pan) were limp on the schnitzel under the cheese. Service team does not see the work. (Many people walk twice because they don't see the work. For example, empty glasses when new drinks are brought or when guests have finished eating/clearing the table). The service team was still relatively young and partly inexperienced. (My impression) Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Had a delicious meal here tonight. The schnitzels are really very tasty. I personally had the hausmacher schnitzel with melted cheese on top. The medium is already large enough, but each schnitzel can also be ordered in xxl. The prices are really very fair. The dessert was also very tasty. With delicious soft ice cream.

We were here with 4 adults and 2 children (not reserved). There was plenty to do for the children. We didn't like the food that much, the meat was good, the potato slices were dirty and shabby.

We recently had dinner there. We personally didn't like it at all. The tables weren't worn out, which meant we had to use our jackets, and the service left a lot to be desired. There is more focus on the Dutch guests, where the service person spoke to us directly in Dutch. The food was very poor quality, the hollandaise was very watery, the croquettes were cold. You were treated very condescendingly when you received your second menu, which you ordered. At that moment I felt like I had done something bad. When I paid, I discussed the points and was told that I could have said something and then I would have received a new meal. But that wouldn't have been an option for me at that moment because it would have been the same. It's just my opinion, because tastes are different. But since we have been working in the catering industry for years and are also self-employed, we see it all a little differently.

Delicious food and good service. Choice between Medium and XL schnitzels for the big appetite. In addition to schnitzels, also burgers and other dishes. Sufficient parking spaces and easily accessible. Neat toilets and good, spacious seating and walkways. We would love to come back again!

The food was quite good but despite the schnitzel plate being hearty (tk schnitzel), I left hungry! When I paid, after asking if everything was good, I said that the portion was very small. His answer was ; Maybe order a second plate next time! We actually wanted an ice cream for dessert but unfortunately no waitress came by! They would rather stand behind the counter with four people and get bored! We then drove to the nearest ice cream parlor! Added everything up! Very disappointing!!

TK Schnitzel from the wholesaler very very small portions but €16.99 for the Western Schnitzel 😉 and just accepted the complaint, what would be wrong and that was very bad for regular customers 👎👎

Nice schnitzels for a fair price.

I ordered you number 56 and afterwards the waitress told me that I was being discriminatory, I understand the approach and didn't think anything of it, but then why does it say that on the menu?? Addendum so that it is fair to the company. The branch management was very open and understanding about the misunderstanding. I am confident that this was a one-off coincidence. I would still recommend this restaurant to everyone because the food was great and you didn't have to wait long for your order. Apart from the misunderstanding, the staff are very attentive and friendly and regularly ask if everything is OK. I would come back at any time.

An affordable evening out for 4 people is really possible. Kiek in de Panne in Twist. Don't expect a luxurious menu and ditto dishes, but the food is delicious. The fries with herbs in particular are worth the trip in themselves. Meat dishes are tender with delicious sauces. On Saturday evenings you only see Dutch license plates in the parking lot, I think that says enough. Highly recommended.

The food and service are very good. Highly recommended, the only downside is that (as far as I know??) there is no Dutch or English menu available. That would be useful given the large number of Dutch people. If necessary, put a Dutch and English map on the website. :-) Thank you again and see you next time!

Very good restaurant for the typical German 'Gutbuergerliche' dishes. The dishes all are freshly prepared, good quality, tastefull and 'sufficient'. Do not expect 'haute quisine'but just enjoy the food in nice atmosphere

Ordering by phone seemed very dubious as it took a long time for someone to answer my call. To make matters worse, when someone finally answered, I was put off for an estimated 10 minutes before I could finally place my order. Unfortunately, before I could finish my sentence, I was interrupted and asked to be patient AGAIN. A few minutes later, I was able to place my order AGAIN and was given an order number and a waiting time. The pickup was relatively uncomplicated and the food was ready on time. The price was very expensive in my opinion considering that the ingredients seemed to be of inferior quality. The shop was obviously completely overcrowded and very loud, which is why it is not recommended to eat on site if you want to have peace and quiet. In terms of taste it wasn't worth mentioning but as an emergency solution it was an acceptable imposition as there are hardly any better alternatives to choose from nearby. Overall, it's not worth the experience and if you really want to eat well you might want to take a detour to the nearest town, where you'll get more for your money.

Always very good food, delicious snacks....and at least affordable!!

The intention was to eat here with a group of 7 on a Saturday evening. So it is not recommended to try this without a reservation. Unfortunately the tent was full but it looked very good. Also a nice playground next to the restaurant, which can be very nice for the little ones during the summer months. Maybe we'll manage to have a bite to eat there next time.

The waitress was quite cheeky and dropped a dirty knife on me. My Gucci sweater is ruined. The taste was okay but 2 hours after consumption I had stool problems.

Food was delicious. However, everything took a very long time... taking drinks, clearing the table, dessert. Service was slow, we couldn't get eye contact and we were irritated when we walked to the bar after 30 minutes with empty plates in front of us. Ever wanted to order a dessert... and then have to wait another 15 minutes for them to take your order! Hopefully better next time, because the food was great.

Here you can have a nice meal and it tastes delicious.. It is affordable for everyone..

Picked up food this evening because the place closed at 6pm. When we got home, the burger was partially eaten, but it still had a strange taste. Once the burger was opened, almost everything was burned. The bad taste was indeed the strong herb this time...a shame

Was vol zouden lang moeten wachten. Geen restaurant waar je zomaar even binnenloopt.

Geweldig lekker gegeten, bord vol , drinken, nagerecht, voor ongeveer 25. €.

Eten was prima kwamen door de weeks we vroegen als we bij de kinderhoek mochten zitten maar dat volgens de ene medewerkster allemaal gereserveerd terwijl wij klanten achter ons gewoon een plekje konden uit kiezen. Vraag je waarom snauwen ze je af. Beetje jammer normaal is het altijd goed

Bij binnenkomst werden we in een ruimte gezet die veel te warm was, het rook niet fris en de groep naast ons had heel veel lawaai. Andere tafel gevraagd en daarna uitbrander gehad van nederlandse medewerker, totaal niet klant vriendelijk. Moet je niet op zondag uit eten gaan sneerde ze!! Doe wat aan de ventilatie en de akoestiek is mijn raad….

Altijd goed, vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten, goede prijzen. Schnitzels zijn super, maar ook de burgers en gyros zijn een aanrader

Je verwacht het hier niet in dit kleine dorpje: een zeer vriendelijke bediening, schone grote zaak en heerlijke schnitzels! Sowieso een uitgebreide menukaart met vriendelijke prijzen. Probeer ook vooral de dessertkaart. Prachtige verzorgde lokatie, enige minpunt is dat er wat achtergrondmuziek mist, dat doet wat af aan de sfeer, voor de rest zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Der Road-House-/ Diner-Look ist gelungen, das Personal macht einen ordentlichen Job, die Portionen sind üppig und die Preise niedrig, ABER die Qualität war aus unserer Sicht nichts. Den Rest des Abends hatten wir Bauchdrücken und die Luft war nicht gut.
