Neat 'tent', spacious enough, nice decor, smooth operation and we had a nice meal there with four people. Good schnitzel, burger, currywurst, salad bar for self-service. Neat toilets. We have already come back a few times:-)

Eating a tasty schnitzel is possible here. Young staff, fast service and the price is fair!.

Just got a family bag of fries, or so I thought. Paid €8.50. When I got home the bag was barely bigger than my hand. We can barely eat it with 3 people. Price/quality ratio way out of proportion. Once never again.

Previously only found on Google and had not eaten before. But we were in the area and drove there anyway. Recommended! Schnitzel then. Gyros with fries, the meat was very tasty, but the fries were too greasy. Better separately serve. Will definitely go back again.

Great shop! We like to eat there with our children. Great value for money, play area for the children, painting supplies at the table :) We have been there many times and have always been satisfied. The staff is very (child-)friendly and tries hard! My husband always orders an xxl schnitzel and I order mine One in “M”. This means everyone gets full and only pays for what they eat. Avoid wasting food and money, I think it's a great principle! The children's plates also have a large selection, are well portioned and are served in a child-friendly manner. There is also a great playground outside and in summer there is ice cream. Very inviting to linger :)

Schnitzels🥰 with all the trimmings. So much choice and not expensive! Schnitzel with cheese. I like cheese. I am also a customer. Definitely back again! Don't have a photo. No time for that, because I had to eat quickly hihihi.

It's really tasty here, but we expected something more from a New York Dream Burger...but it was also small and tasty.

I recently visited this restaurant and was overall satisfied. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. It may take a little longer if there are a lot of people, but that was absolutely understandable. All in all, a recommended place if you want to eat well without paying a lot. I'll definitely come back.

Very good food! That's why I love to come there! The ambiance could be a bit warmer and I do feel the personell could be a bit more enthusiastic. It's not that they're not friendly! They just don't seem to like their job. Still do recommend very much!

Nice place where you can eat well...you won't leave here hungry. Very affordable, definitely worth it. Big citizens, I made a big mistake when I chose the M. The S would have been a better size😅 My husband had the XXL snap in the Panne burger.......just not normally big🙈

Delicious food, large portions, and they recently introduced a salad bar where you can serve your own salad. Because it is close to the border, many Dutch people come here.

Good food at a fair price. Schnitzels are very good and fried crispy. Only the salad buffet is a bit sparsely stocked. What's a shame is that four-legged family members are not welcome.

Always tasty schnitzel meals for a good price. We come there regularly, especially for the monthly varying lunch menu. Tip, for approximately €1.50 extra you can get sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which is not always self-evident in Germany. Recommended!

We went out for dinner at Kiek uit de Panne tonight. We are regular customers and have been coming here for years. Tonight we were helped by 2 young girls. They are not friendly, they acted as if we were a dog. Not a polite good evening, thank you or the new (for us) salad bar was pointed out. Do not use a tray, which causes a lot of beer to be smeared, no, that is not how it should be. Unfortunately the quality is deteriorating considerably. With the staff and the quantities. Previously, a bowl of fries or potatoes now everything on one plate. While your prices are also skyrocketing. the green beans at the salad bar had branches all over them. We also haven't seen the Dutch blonde lady in a while. He has everything neatly under control. Unfortunately, at checkout you will also be asked whether you are a dog. Very short, very unfortunate, because we are going to look for another restaurant. Provide a thorough training program and train people properly. In my opinion you must have hosts and ladies. The customer is king and make sure people come back to you. At least that's my motto.

Lots of food for a fair price. It remains a (luxury) snack bar, so don't expect a culinary bite. The hamburger was great, the schnitzel was okay.

Went here on a weekday. It was very busy and not enough people in the service. We were sent to a dirty table that had not been cleared, so we went to eat somewhere else.

Het duurde een half uur voor we ons drinken überhaupt konden bestellen, eenmaal het drinken besteld ging er nog eens 20 minuten overheen, maar nog geen drinken. Wij hebben na en uur besloten om te vertrekken, dus gaven aan dat ons drinken niet meer gebracht hoefde te worden, toen werd ons gezegd dat we gewoon geduld moesten hebben en dat we meer begrip moesten hebben dat het druk was terwijl we netjes aangaven dat wij een afspraak hadden staan en weg moesten. En daarbij komt ook dat alle tafels om heen al aan het eten waren terwijl zij later dan ons binnen kwamen en wij nog geen eens drinken hadden

Nice place where you can enjoy a delicious meal. The price quality is very high and cannot be compared with the Netherlands. Only so close to the border would you expect them to understand 10% Dutch, especially considering that 70% is Dutch. But still a big 8.5 for this tent!

Here you can have a relaxed meal. Everything you need. German portions and affordable. Free parking. And indoor and outdoor terrace. All in all fine

I love eating here every time I visit my boyfriend in Emmen. It’s a quick drive across the border to get here. All of the schnitzel is delicious, but my favorite one is the one with mushroom sauce and with fried onions on top. The schnitzel also came with a salad with delicious dressing. I can’t wait to come back again!

Disinterested staff. Schnitzels very small, and also burnt black, as well as the fried egg and onion. Sent back...schnitzels had been replaced, but egg and onion had not.

Really a nice restaurant. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The staff was friendly and helpful. We decided on the first evening that we would come back the next day. What was surprising was the possibility of getting almost every dish as a vegan version. If we're in the area again we'll definitely come back. Unfortunately, the parking space quickly reaches its limits, which also speaks for the quality of the food.

The food was okay, the cheeseburger was good, the mixed chicken plate looked like some pieces had been a bit over-fried. The staff was friendly but didn't try very hard, it was very hot and we had to wait a long time to order our drinks even though the place was almost empty. Okay for a break in between, but otherwise there is still room for improvement in some areas.

We always take a break there when we ride our motorbike to Assen for the MotoGP. Very tasty and inexpensive. The staff is 1A. We like to stop there.

Eating on site is always very good at Kiek in de Pann. The dishes are tasty and the service is friendly. However, when we order, both by telephone and online, they often forget half of the order. This has actually happened to us more than five times now. It's very annoying, especially if you only find out at home and miss part of your meal. Tip for collectors: check the order immediately on site. There is still room for improvement for Kiek in de Pann. Hopefully this will be resolved soon so that the takeaway experience becomes as good as the on-site dining experience.

Friendly staff, we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. Everything was well organized and it tasted delicious, definitely worth repeating again.

Stond op camperplaats vlakbij. Bestellen ging vlot, eten was snel klaar. Jagerschnitzel met friet was prima. Sla erbij (apart bakje) was oud!! Kip schnitzel was net-aan gaar. Frietjes apart verpakt waren slap en veel te zout. Kortom: had ik pech of zijn de negatieve reacties verdwenen???

The schnitzel was no thicker than a slice of sausage. We gave it back to the waitress and complained. We ate at the market store.

Today I ended up at Schnitzelrestaurant Kiek in de Pan with two friends during a tour. What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant has a beautiful terrace where we could enjoy the beautiful weather and a delicious meal. The schnitzels were large and tasty, just the way you want them. Perfectly baked and well seasoned, with a crispy crust and a juicy interior. It is clear that attention is paid to the quality of the food here. In addition, the food was surprisingly affordable, which is definitely a plus. We ordered a large glass of cold iced tea, which paired perfectly with the meal. The iced tea was refreshing and tasty, an ideal thirst quencher on a hot day. The service was friendly and efficient. The employees made us feel welcome and were ready to help us where necessary. The terrace itself is a nice place to sit, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All in all it was a very successful experience. For the price, the quality of the food and the friendly service, Schnitzelrestaurant Kiek in de Pan is definitely a place we will come back to. Recommended!

Everything was clean. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes weren't cooked through, and the onions (fried in the pan) were limp on the schnitzel under the cheese. Service team does not see the work. (Many people walk twice because they don't see the work. For example, empty glasses when new drinks are brought or when guests have finished eating/clearing the table). The service team was still relatively young and partly inexperienced. (My impression) Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Had a delicious meal here tonight. The schnitzels are really very tasty. I personally had the hausmacher schnitzel with melted cheese on top. The medium is already large enough, but each schnitzel can also be ordered in xxl. The prices are really very fair. The dessert was also very tasty. With delicious soft ice cream.
