We ate on a Monday evening after the Christmas market. It was quite busy. First, the salad bar, which is a good idea, but it needs to be replenished. Drinks were fine, but getting our own cutlery from another table was nauseous. Gyros definitely not recommended; clearly frozen meat was dry and tasteless. Tzatziki was delicious, as were the salad and fries. My tablemates had schnitzel, but it was dry from being deep-fried; there was a lot of it. Would have preferred a little less and better quality. The girl with glasses and a ponytail was nice and very hardworking 👍 All in all, we wouldn't be back, but tastes differ.

Ordered No. 237, Schnitzel Platter (Hearty) 3 small schnitzels topped with a fried egg, bacon, and onions, served with fried potatoes and salad. The 3 schnitzels were wafer-thin, almost just breaded! The salad bar wasn't refilled, so some items were unavailable. Salad bowls weren't available, and it took two requests to rectify the shortage. Due to the poor service and the food, this is not recommended!

I'd spent half a day in the car with my father, putting the caravan away. Afterward, I'd done some shopping in Germany. My father knew a good restaurant to eat at. We arrived at a quarter to five, and to my surprise, the place was already quite full. At five to five, we had our first drinks, and then our main course was ordered from a laminated menu, complete with dish photos. We were eating at ten past five. We both had fried schnitzel and salad from the salad bar. All around me were elderly people or families with young children, and I suddenly realized I was 51 myself. At five-thirty, we were back in the car, waking from what seemed like a dream or a nightmare between a Van der Valk hotel and my own elderly future. A restaurant for some intense self-reflection, in other words.

We always enjoy coming to Kiek in de Pan. The service is always friendly, and the food has always been good and delicious. But now my husband ate chicken and spent the whole night on the toilet. So I call Kiek in de Pan and remain incredibly polite to them. A Dutch woman answers the phone. I tell them we come often and are always thrilled, and that we'd still like to come. But I do want to let them know that my husband got sick from the chicken. He tells me, "It's not possible the chicken comes fresh from the freezer every day." Which is strange enough that fresh can also come from the freezer. And that's it. No apologies, curt, and so, "Just see what happens." Well, indeed. Just see what happens. I wanted to be polite, but then I don't. I won't be going there again.

It took quite a while for the food to be prepared and served. There were six of us, and the cutlery arrived even later than the food. So, the service was quite slow. The food was perfect. Super delicious. Lots of Dutch people, which was great.

Good restaurant, food is also good. I had the Bbq burger, tasted good looked good. 4 stars for the service but that is more for ourselves. If you have a reservation the service is better than coming in unannounced. Eating without a reservation is possible, but I had the feeling that the reserved people (who came after us) were helped earlier and faster.

Is just gone in 1 word Great! I have been coming here regularly for a long time. And it has never disappointed me. Yesterday it was incredibly busy so the waiting time was a bit long but oh well, I don't mind that. At other restaurants you sometimes notice it in the quality of the food. But here 100% not.. So it is definitely worth the wait.. The price is also certainly not bad.. So if you want to eat out and you like schnitzels then don't hesitate and just do it!! 1 tip: make a reservation in advance because there is a big chance that you will have to wait a long time for a spot or that it will be full on the weekend..

I just ordered a takeaway menu: 92 Fillet Pan 3 pieces of pork fillet with Béarnaise sauce and mushrooms on a portion of fries, with salad. The meat was incredibly tough; you practically had to use a chainsaw to cut through it. You just had to imagine the Béarnaise sauce with your eyes closed. I've had better!

Great restaurant, as usual in Germany, good portions at reasonable prices. Service is good, friendly staff. Can be busy at certain times, but despite that, fast service. Recommended. Support your local entrepreneurs 👍🏻

Was in transit. Unfortunately very small portions that were thoroughly cooked, almost roasted, but hunger drove it in It can be better - but otherwise everything is clean and ok in the chip shop...

Today the service was not as smooth as usual. But food was good, nice salad bar.

When you call to make a reservation, they say that it is not necessary. When you drive there everything is full and you can go home again.

After half an hour we still didn't receive a menu. Made a reservation... but eventually left.

Well is was a great place and great food with friendly staff... It is getting less friendly ,food is not that great anymore and takes a long time before food is on table,and no was not busy. Please go back to how you were!

You don't understand, all those Dutch people who come here especially for this. Eating Dutch fries in Germany. Just across the border. Expensive and not special. Not bad, but really not special.

Delicious burger. Very busy. So if you want to eat there, reservations are recommended. Fast and friendly service. Extensive menu suitable for young and old. You can serve your own salads. Highly recommended for a meal. And don't forget the prices. Too bad they are only located in Germany, otherwise I would have eaten there more often.

A wonderful family-friendly place. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly and seemed extremely professional. Orders arrived quickly at the table. There's also a very manageable play area (lightly fenced). Very suitable for families.

Good food at a reasonable price!

We were glad that this restaurant accepted us as we were rather late. I had their specialty, the Pfefferfilet, which turned out to be an excellent choice. As dessert i had Heiß auf eis which was also very delicious. The service was quick and very friendly. The price was, like almost everywhere in Germany, very reasonable.

I am a vegetarian and ordered a veggie burger. It looked nice but the burger was breaded-fried with vegetables inside. I don't think so, but that's personal! You can eat and drink well for a reasonable price👍

It is a glorified snack bar. The staff clearly does not feel like working. They do not manage a friendly smile. When you order, the girl drills the following sentence, S M Oder L, while you are still halfway through your order. She does not wait for that answer either, because then she shouts very unfriendly, pommes mayo?

A large, good snack bar with an extensive menu of really tasty German dishes. Sometimes we can dream about a golden yellow crispy schnitzel and then we go here. The only downside for us, the dog is not welcome. It is actually a nice place to visit in combination with a walk...

Neat 'tent', spacious enough, nice decor, smooth operation and we had a nice meal there with four people. Good schnitzel, burger, currywurst, salad bar for self-service. Neat toilets. We have already come back a few times:-)

Just got a family bag of fries, or so I thought. Paid €8.50. When I got home the bag was barely bigger than my hand. We can barely eat it with 3 people. Price/quality ratio way out of proportion. Once never again.

Previously only found on Google and had not eaten before. But we were in the area and drove there anyway. Recommended! Schnitzel then. Gyros with fries, the meat was very tasty, but the fries were too greasy. Better separately serve. Will definitely go back again.

Great shop! We like to eat there with our children. Great value for money, play area for the children, painting supplies at the table :) We have been there many times and have always been satisfied. The staff is very (child-)friendly and tries hard! My husband always orders an xxl schnitzel and I order mine One in “M”. This means everyone gets full and only pays for what they eat. Avoid wasting food and money, I think it's a great principle! The children's plates also have a large selection, are well portioned and are served in a child-friendly manner. There is also a great playground outside and in summer there is ice cream. Very inviting to linger :)

It's really tasty here, but we expected something more from a New York Dream Burger...but it was also small and tasty.

I recently visited this restaurant and was overall satisfied. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. It may take a little longer if there are a lot of people, but that was absolutely understandable. All in all, a recommended place if you want to eat well without paying a lot. I'll definitely come back.

Very good food! That's why I love to come there! The ambiance could be a bit warmer and I do feel the personell could be a bit more enthusiastic. It's not that they're not friendly! They just don't seem to like their job. Still do recommend very much!

Nice place where you can eat well...you won't leave here hungry. Very affordable, definitely worth it. Big citizens, I made a big mistake when I chose the M. The S would have been a better size😅 My husband had the XXL snap in the Panne burger.......just not normally big🙈
