The burgers and fries were good, but slightly overpriced due to the location. The waiters were only serving plates and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but hey, you order via QR code anyway. In summary, the standard was good, but nothing special.

Very friendly waiters, but unfortunately bland food. It was missing that certain something. I wasn't impressed for the price.

Top-notch burger joint, organic meat. The burgers (I had the Big Mama) are very generously portioned, the fries are crispy and not dry. Friendly service, who serves quickly and asks if everything is okay without being intrusive. The espresso isn't bitter and comes in a very attractive appearance. This joint sets standards. I certainly won't be the last time I'm there.

For years, Kerkini has been my undisputed number 1 when it comes to burgers and fries. I've never had better anywhere. It's a highlight every time.

We recently discovered this fantastic restaurant in Leverkusen and are absolutely thrilled! What makes this restaurant so special is the incredible variety of burgers – all made with high-quality organic meat. They also offer a huge selection of French fries in a variety of styles and with a variety of toppings – truly a delight. We've driven from Duisburg to Langenfeld several times just to eat there, and every time it's been absolutely worth it. So: 5 stars well deserved – highly recommended!

For me, these are the best burgers of the year! And I love eating hamburgers. The Lucky Burger and the Three Cheese High were absolute highlights for my wife and me. It's absolutely brilliant that you can order at your table using a QR code. Service is fast and friendly. The price is absolutely fair, especially for organic food.

We've been going here since it opened; the service and food are great. Unfortunately, the burger prices keep rising, but that's just the way it is. Even our junior likes it.

We enjoyed a burger here for the first time. Four things stood out: 1. Ordering via QR code - consent to the storage of necessary personal data is required. It was not possible to view the privacy policy. Therefore, it was impossible to determine which "necessary personal data" was stored and processed - a violation of GDPR. 2. The online menu was very confusing - by the time you've gathered all the extras, you've forgotten what you wanted for the basic burger. 3. Ordered a burger without onions - apparently, the kitchen was so messy that onions still crept onto the burger - a problem for allergy sufferers. 4. Burger bites were partially burnt and black. All in all, the impression was very superficial. It gave the impression that the customer doesn't matter, only the business. I'll have to consider going there again to see if this was a flash in the pan or if things have improved.

The food is OK (nothing more, in my opinion). The service is friendly. Orders are placed online (you can access the website via a QR code). I find the prices quite high for what's on offer.

The vegan burgers, in particular, always taste excellent. The staff is friendly and checks in on everything on every visit. If you're having trouble ordering via QR code, they'll definitely help you out.

Overall, it's OK. The fact that you have to order everything yourself and the waiters only bring everything to you can't really rate the service poorly. The food was OK; the currywurst was delicious, and so were the fries. As for the burgers, it's a matter of opinion... My burger was simply DEAD; I've never had meat so dry... The bread, sauces, and other toppings were good. Price-wise, a little too high.

Very tasty, although I've had hair in my food before. Hairnets for the head and beard would be very important here! After I asked the employee about it, she indirectly insinuated that the hair was ours. But neither my girlfriend nor I have black beards, that obviously doesn't make sense.

We actually only go here for burgers. The quality is always consistent. We feel very comfortable there, the food is delicious, and the staff is consistent!

I've been there so many times now that I'm finally writing a review. I've never been disappointed, and the food is always delicious and quick. The food is excellent, but what's even better are the service staff, who are always in a great mood, friendly and helpful, and willing to help with anything. That's why we're happy to drive the 30-40 minutes to you ☺️

For me, the best burger place. The fries and burgers are a 10/10, as is the rest of the staff. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. My wife and I have been there several times and have never had anything to complain about.

Unfortunately, disappointing. The burgers were extremely salty, as were the fries – barely edible. The coleslaw was unpleasantly sour. The whole thing is far too expensive for what's on offer. Politely expressed criticism was met with dismissiveness – they didn't exactly tell us to go home, but that's exactly how it felt. Apparently, if you didn't want it so salty, you had to ask in advance. It's a shame – that's not what hospitality looks like.

After there was unfortunately no meat on my last (and first) visit on May 29, 2025, I wanted to give Kerkini another chance. I had the burger of the month, a Big Mac in the better version. The burger was really delicious, and the fries were also good and deliciously seasoned. I also really enjoyed the two dips, in my case the truffle mayo and the honey mustard mayo. We didn't have to wait long for the food. I hope that cases like the one two days ago, when they ran out of meat, are the exception rather than the rule. In a burger place, beef should still be available a few hours before closing time (hence the star reduction). But on my second try, you convinced me again that the burgers here are delicious. Next time, I'll try the Poutine Deluxe :)

The service was great. Burgers could have been hotter. Since they only sell 0.33 liter bottles for the same price as the 0.5 liter bottles, the food is too expensive.

Very tasty food, super friendly service, and the location is very authentic. Sure, you pay a little more for your meal, but it's definitely worth it.

The burgers are very good, as far as one can objectively judge. They taste very good. They're easily customizable with things like onions, jalapeños, cheese sauce, extra patties, etc. The fries are great, too. However, they're quite expensive. The two of us, including sides, paid just under €70 for the burgers and two drinks each...

Very good burgers and fast service. They advertise that the meat and other ingredients are organic, which is why you meet a lot of families here. I will definitely come back, despite the high prices. Edit: The burgers are still good and tasty, but the service suffers, especially on weekends. They need to organize things better, as the prices are at a premium level.

Very nice staff, I find the burgers a bit more expensive but the quality justifies the price I'm happy to pay for such quality. Fries have always been perfect (not too crispy, not too wobbly). For me there is no reason to give less than 5 stars.

The burgers are simply amazing - the smashed burger in particular is a real highlight! Juicy, perfectly seasoned and super tasty. In addition, there is fast and friendly service. As soon as we ordered, the food was already there. Absolute recommendation for all burger fans!

Very tasty burgers (all organic quality) when the cooking point is hit, although things have gotten a lot better here in the last year. After many visits it is about 80/20 from hit to dry fried. The fries are very good and the cocktails are good too. Service is good with rare exceptions. Somewhat cramped inside but functional. All in all, the best you can currently get when it comes to organic quality burgers in Langenfeld and the surrounding area.

We haven't eaten something so delicious in bright sunshine for a long time. So absolutely full marks are to be awarded here. Before I say anything about the food, I would like to thank our super nice service again. Dear Jung said casually that he greeted us in the finest way with a “kick-out” and took us outside into the sun. And then competent, uncomplicated and on the ball, that's how service should work 👏🏼 From the very tasty burgers to the fries with various toppings and last but not least the delicious sauces, everything is particularly noteworthy here. Extremely delicious. Finally, a piece of cheesecake, accompanied by an espresso, which gives off a wonderfully strong coffee aroma when served and tastes great. We are regular guests at Kerkini and enjoy the varied burger creations. The freshly made fries are also highly recommended; Rarely have I had such good sweet potato fries. The service can be described as exceptionally good. Friendliness, competence and willingness to help are what define the team.

There were four of us at Kerkini today and we were very satisfied! The food was very tasty and the service was super friendly, quick and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is also good and we can highly recommend Kerkini. We'd love to come back.

In general, Kerkini was certainly not a bad burger joint. The selection was large and unique, and the ambiance was lovingly decorated. Unfortunately, we were still somewhat disappointed by the burgers, which were always rated as extremely good. Our burgers were all cold and a bit dry. We found it problematic that a burger joint doesn't fully master its core competency. When the "warm cookie" for dessert wasn't served warm, we raised the issue. However, the staff treated our criticism very unprofessionally. They reluctantly brought us a new dessert, but emphasized at the same time that it was normal for the cookie not to get completely warm in the toaster—so why is it advertised as a "warm cookie" on the menu? It's a shame, but we probably won't be coming back for a while.

Mega store. In my opinion the best citizens in all of Langenfeld, the citizens are always fresh and juicy, the meat is perfect and the prices are completely justified. The fries are also very tasty, especially the sweet potato fries. The restaurant is always clean and looks very chic, the service is also super friendly and cool, the best conditions in all of Langenfeld. The food is always brought out very quickly and I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for my food. I can only recommend :)

I recently went there to eat burgers. For me as a vegetarian there was a good selection. We were allowed to choose a table and order using a QR code. All burgers are also available with a vegetarian patty; However, the patty always remains the same, as I understood afterwards. I initially thought there would be a vegetarian option for the chicken, but only the patty remained the same while the burger side dishes changed. This was initially unclear and complicated for me, even though I received support from an employee. It was very crowded and noisy, but overall I would definitely recommend the restaurant. The prices were okay, but we found the portions to be rather small, which was a shame.

Cheeseburger wasn't anything special. It was very salty. Fries were like chips. We paid EUR 43.5 for two cheeseburgers, two fries and two drinks. Atmosphere was nice. But let's say I eat better burgers and fries in MC and BK with help price..

Delicious. They have two small burgers on offer, so you can sample your way through the wonderful selection. Nice style, nice people.

A slightly different burger bar, with exceptionally good burgers that aren't available often. Very tasty, I can only recommend it But busy, after we finished there was a long line of hungry people waiting outside. Service is very modern, orders are ordered via cell phone and a QR code, but the service is very friendly and despite the house being full, the food was on the table in good time. We will probably come back.

The best burgers I've ever eaten! There is a large selection of burgers, fries, salads etc and the staff are very nice and accommodating and will help with questions and recommendations. I can only recommend the burger with peanut butter and fries with truffle mayo (finally a real, aromatic truffle mayo!) :-) It's also a very cozy place and in summer there are lots of places outside. I will definitely come back!

If you like really good burgers, this is the place for you. Order via mobile phone (also possible offline). Staff very friendly. Came several times to ask how it tasted etc. Many types of beer. Free candy bar. Homemade fries with lots of sauces. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here.

The whole atmosphere there is a vibe. It is nicely furnished, good music is playing (at a pleasant volume) and everything is harmonious. The waiters are super nice and flexible and they always check whether everything is okay. Ordering via QR code is super simple and simplifies a lot, but there is also a card and old school orders if you prefer. The prices are justified for the food. Super tasty burgers with interesting combinations. A clear recommendation through and through.

I've known the Kerkini "Burger Bar" for several years now and always enjoy coming back. In addition to the very good burgers, there is also a selection of breakfast and brunch - but the burgers are clearly the focus here. There is also a constantly changing "Burger of the Week" which is always pretty crazy - on my last visit there was the "Confetti Burger" (see photos) which is really one of the most unusual burgers I have ever eaten - but definitely good 🤤 Update January 2024 I visited Kerkini again and ate an extremely good smashed burger with extra bacon. It's priced very steeply at 3 euros, but it's very well made - crispy, not limp. That was an extra well spent 🥓 Update June 2024 It is and remains great 🍔 In keeping with the European Championships, there are now other small burger variants every day. Cool idea and (as always) very tasty I always enjoy coming here. The restaurant is highly recommended for burger lovers! Update September 2024 It is and remains great! My current favorite burger is the Miss Maple. Update January 2025 This year we're going one better - instead of burger of the month, there's now burger of the week! There have been some good ones so far!

Were there yesterday. Unfortunately, the cheeseburger was very dry and you couldn't really taste the cheese. Unfortunately, for a restaurant that focuses specifically on burgers, the burgers really weren't good.

Best burger shop in the Rhineland - we always come from Cologne. The meat is of top quality with high animal welfare (organic) and you can taste it too. Also very friendly and attentive service. “Extra request” is always granted.

Don't be blinded by the mass of good reviews. We made the mistake too. Price/performance is a complete disaster. In two words: Overpriced hipster store The “Smaschburger” is a joke. I expected that I would also receive a smashburger. They understand something different here. Here you get 2 “patties” made from 80g beef that are about the size of a golden M cheeseburger patty. In the end it was never 160g of meat. You had to look for cheese. The greens were also sparse and the amount of sauce was a complete disaster. Per portion of mayo/ketchup €1 (sachet quantity) All other sauces same amount €1.50 Portion of fries just under 5€. There are already a few fries and yet the dip that comes with it is not nearly enough. The entire menu had about the same energy density and quantity as a double cheeseburger and medium fries from MC but cost 5 times as much For me it was an absolute tragedy to buy fast food for €25 and not get full. You can come at me with arguments like “Yes, but quality & ambience” as much as you want. That's just poorly calculated and in my opinion you don't notice any quality that justifies the price. Other burger shops can do this miles better. The six of us left almost €150 here and were still very hungry afterwards. We then ate a kebab. Definitely not another visit.

We always come to Kerkini from Cologne. The Peanut Butter Beast is the best burger I have ever eaten. The loaded fries taste divine. The fries are super crispy and despite the sauce, they don't get soggy. The cocktails taste extremely good. The waiter Jamal is incredibly friendly. Even brought the whole candy bar to the table for us. We always feel very comfortable here. Thank you for the lovely and fun evening.
