Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und nicht nur das Essen ist ausgesprochen gut, auch der Service und das Ambiente! Das wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Top Portionen, sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Alles wirklich ausgesprochen gut.

Top Location. Freundliches Personal....nach vielen Jahren der Suche und Enttäuschungen, das Beste was der TS passieren konnte.

Wir waren heute Abend spontan hier essen (ohne Tischreservierung) und wir bekamen mit unserer einjährigen Tochter noch einen Tisch trotz ziemlicher Auslastung. Das Essen war der absolute Hammer!! Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war außergewöhnlich und für uns ein absoluter Traum! Die liebevolle Art und Weise, wie das Personal mit unserer kleinen Tochter umgegangen ist, war einfach zuckersüß. Es war unterm Strich einfach alles genial!!!

Sehr lecker! Ich hatte den Spargelsalat mit Garnelen im Engelshaar – frisch, perfekt abgeschmeckt und schön angerichtet. Der Service war super und sehr freundlich. Unaufgefordert wurde unserem Hund direkt ein Wassernapf gebracht – eine wirklich tolle und aufmerksame Geste. Auch sonst wurde dezent und angenehm nachgefragt, ob alles passt oder noch Wünsche offen sind. Keppler‘s Turnerschaft in Göppingen (Nördliche Ringstraße) ist ein familiäres Restaurant mit einem breitgefächerten Angebot – von einfach bis gehoben, aber nie abgehoben.

Wir hatten gestern einen super Abend im Keppeler's. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und waren sehr begeistert. Vom freundlichen Service, über den netten Chef bis zum mega leckeren Essen. Ich habe mich für den Gockl entschieden und war sehr zufrieden. Noch nie hatte eine so knusprige, und toll gewürzt Haut in Kombination mit dem saftigen zarten Fleisch. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Ein sehr sehr gutes Essen, alles top ,es ist ein verstecker Juwel der Essenkunst.

Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Abend im Restaurant Keppler. Vom ersten Moment an wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und während des gesamten Abends aufmerksam und herzlich bedient – ein wirklich toller Service, bei dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Alles war frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders schön fanden wir die kleinen Überraschungsmomente bei der Präsentation der Gerichte – das hat den Abend nochmal besonders gemacht. Nachtrag, wir hatten hier das Valentinstags Menü und einen Unglaublichen Abend ! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und macht weiter so ! Ich war bereits mehrfach in Keppelers Turnerschaft in Göppingen – und jedes Mal wurde die ohnehin schon hohe Qualität noch übertroffen! Das Essen ist einfach unglaublich gut – mit viel Liebe zubereitet, kreativ und geschmacklich auf absolutem Top-Niveau. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar, hier stimmt wirklich alles. Der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell – man fühlt sich rundum wohl und bestens umsorgt. Es ist ein echtes Highlight, ein solches gastronomisches Angebot außerhalb des Zentrums von Göppingen zu haben – besonders, weil man vergleichbare Qualität dort sowieso vergeblich sucht. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team – macht bitte genau so weiter! Absolute Empfehlung, aber: unbedingt vorher reservieren, sonst wird’s schwierig, noch einen Platz zu bekommen!

Eins meiner zwei Stammlokale. Super Hähnchen, tolle Schnitzel, toller Rostbraten. Absolute top Küche. Komme immer wieder gerne, wenn auch nicht so oft, wie ich gerne würde.

Gutbürgerliche Küche. Hatten hier eine Geburtstagsfeier und waren positiv Überrascht. Sehr gutes Essen, Personal freundlich.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Das Personal ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war richtig lecker und auch die Saisonkarte bietet viel Abwechslung. Außerdem gibt es eine große Getränkeauswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Our Christmas party at this restaurant was a truly special experience. The owner personally attended to us, even serving us himself at times, and his warm, attentive manner created an atmosphere where we immediately felt at ease. You could tell in every detail that this was a host with genuine passion. The decorations were lovingly and uniquely designed and perfectly suited the occasion. The food was outstanding – from the main courses to the beautifully presented appetizer platter, which was a highlight not only in terms of taste but also visually. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening and your exceptional hospitality. We would love to come back again!

We were in Göppingen for the Indoor Cycling World Championships and were looking for a restaurant that still served hot food late into the evening. We quickly came across Keppeler's, a 10-minute walk from the EWS Arena. We weren't disappointed – delicious food, fast and attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. What can I say? We ended up eating there all three evenings, and even after 10 p.m., there was still something available from their small menu. A real rarity these days. Many thanks again to Klaus and his team – also on behalf of the Schwenningen Cycling Club.

After an event in Göppingen, we were looking for a restaurant that still served hot meals later on. We ended up at Keppeler's Turnerschaft. From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but upon entering the dining room, you're greeted by the full force of true hospitality. A cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a wonderful host with a great team. Here, the art of hospitality is truly lived. Unfortunately, I arrived a day after everyone else and only got to eat there twice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back at Keppeler's Turnerschaft.

Another 6 out of 5 stars! We weren't even hungry that evening because we were so tired. Klaus revived us with his humor and top-notch service! We had beautifully presented pumpkin for €4.90! Bright, sweet, and without cream – a real treat! But the highlight was the main course: pork medallions in a chanterelle cream sauce! Truly a culinary delight!! It couldn't have been better! From the meat (perfectly cooked and high-quality) to the impeccably cleaned mushrooms, the sauce, and the Spätzle!!! Dessert was a special request: Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel – lovely! See you again soon, my friend!!

So, since we're from the area but no longer live there, we discovered this restaurant based on a recommendation and reserved a table on our second attempt. It was perfect and also very cleverly provided with a personalized reservation sign! (Great idea) The ambiance isn't particularly special, but I found the background noise to be too loud. The service was friendly and prompt! Now, however, I have to offer some criticism: The food—admittedly, I expected something different from what ended up on the plate...! I don't want to portray that as a negative—more as something that could be improved! For example, my wife ordered a "Staufer Gock'l." Firstly, it was probably a rather small rooster, and secondly, in my opinion, it was fresh but had probably been warmed up in a deep fryer... you could see it in the skin, and the meat was very dry! I had previously ordered beef broth with Maultaschen. The broth was very good, but the same cannot be said for the filling! Sorry, but if you're going to have Maultaschen, then please not a convenience product! And if you do, then please a good one! Horrible, especially in Baden-Württemberg! After that, I ordered an Irish beef steak, medium, leaning towards rare! But it was served pink and almost cooked through! I had to reorder the specified herb butter, and the fried potatoes were also served later. There were two wedges of cheddar cheese on the steak - I didn't understand that! My brother had opted for a roast venison veal - admittedly very nicely presented and served. Great sauce! But the meat was very dry and It was actually quite bland and overcooked! It was as if it had just been warmed up... I didn't try my cousin's food, but they enjoyed it. Overall, as I said, I expected more based on the recommendation. However, I must admit that my standards for evaluating food and service are different due to my many years of experience in these professions.

An unpleasant and pushy manager. They serve instant soups and sauces. If that's your thing, you'll be right at home. Dessert is freshly made at Metro.

Keppeler's once a week and there's never been anything to complain about. The "Gockele" (a type of chicken), to kneel down, there's nothing better!

A very nice chef, attentive staff, and the food is absolutely delicious. We were invited there for a 92nd birthday party. As an aperitif, we were treated to one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic drink on the house. As a surprise, there was a small gift from the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

We ate here today with our toddler without a reservation. We were immediately offered a table, a high chair, and a toy for our son. That made it much easier for us. After we ordered our food, our child's food arrived immediately, so he didn't have to wait. Our meal was absolutely delicious; the sauce was delicious, and the meat was incredibly tender. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

I was there the first time and by chance. I really liked the atmosphere outdoor in the garden under the trees. I was astonished to get “greetings from the kitchen” and to hear French words. Although there are French meals on the menu card i decided to taste the “Maultaschen” (maul bags), a local food comparable to Italian ravioli. They were delicious! The service was attentive, friendly, fast. I ordered a local beer. And then a second one :) Very often i am closing my dinners with a small espresso and a large grappa. So, i did it also this time (i know it was just a small dinner - but anyhow) Out of many options i got a barrique grappa - i can’t remember the name; it was the recommendation by the restaurant - which was really delicious! When paying my bill i was happy that it was very cheap.

A fantastic restaurant, with very friendly and, above all, competent and attentive staff...special requests are promptly fulfilled with a friendly smile...an absolute recommendation and a highlight for Göppingen!

We ended up at Käppler by pure chance – with no expectations, no prior knowledge – and were completely surprised. The young manager, who initially served us as a waiter, caught our attention right from the start. Such a charming blend of warmth, down-to-earthness, and genuine hospitality is rare. The conversation developed quite naturally, almost as if between old acquaintances – a human warmth that is rarely found in the restaurant industry. The food? A dream. Creative, perfectly prepared with great attention to detail. The flavors were spot on. A true delight! The rest of the team was also exceptionally friendly and attentive, without ever being intrusive – service of the highest quality. The building appears rather unassuming from the outside, and even the location doesn't immediately suggest what a little oasis lies behind it. But the interior is stylish and designed with a sure sense of atmosphere – a place to feel good. An absolute highlight is the impressive wine cellar with a huge selection of fine wines. And for those who prefer spirits, according to the owner, there are over 300 different spirits – there's something for everyone here. In conclusion: A hidden gem in Göppingen that we will undoubtedly visit again. So much authenticity, quality, and passion all in one place – simply fantastic!

It was my first time here and I'm thrilled. Very good service and it tasted wonderful. I could also get a parking space even though every table was occupied. Only the map seems almost too extensive to me. But everyone certainly sees it differently. We ordered the roulades and the pork medallions and for dessert Kaiserschmarren and apple rings with vanilla ice cream. Yummy.

Have been more than satisfied with the service and the food for over a year! Varied menu and every dish is a real culinary delight! German cuisine at its best, I recommend it to everyone!

Absolutely perfect food and service. Every time I visit I am surprised by the excellent cuisine. The meat was fried to perfection, the chocolate cake was runny enough and the octopus was delicious! The staff is happy to advise you at any time if you have any questions about the wine list and will make every effort to fulfill special requests.

We have celebrated several times with over 20 people, it was always great. Everyone is very friendly, the service is very good and the food tastes great, the zucchini schnitzels are my favorite.

Everything perfect. From service to food!

We were there for the first time, but certainly not the last. We were looking for a place that was close to the EWS Arena because we wanted to go to an event there. I asked in advance whether the opening time and the start of the event would be appropriate. It worked wonderfully. The kitchen brought the 5 different meals to the table quickly and we were ready on time. All dishes were excellent, the onion roast medium rare, as ordered. Our daughter's cheese spaetzle was creamy and really cheesy. The prices are completely reasonable and not excessive. The boss and his employees are very nice and quick. Everything is done to ensure that the guests are satisfied. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

We were there on Christmas Day for example around dinner. The game dishes were very tasty, as were the starters and desserts. We also got a cognac training course, which was very interesting. From the outside you wouldn't expect to eat so well there. Definitely worth a visit.

The food in this place is really delicious, according to my personal taste they make the best sauces there. They taste good after many hours of reducing, pouring, reducing. The service was very good, even though the place was full. We were a group of about 28 people and had our Christmas dinner there. Everyone got their food promptly, none of the food was cold or dried out (because it had been kept warm for a long time). With that in mind, thank you for the lovely evening and the delicious food.
