Kentucky Fried Chicken in Leipzig

The citizens are catastrophic! Too little toppings and cold! The fries not fresh! The peach iced tea tastes like dishwater....Never again KFC!!!

Annoying, last Saturday and again today. You order 2 menus with fillet bites and, according to the ad, with a large cola. I only got a small cup with 0.3. In all seriousness, the employee wanted to tell me that this was correct. Just like last Saturday with 3 menus. Do the employees even know what they are selling? Apart from the smaller bites with more breading and less meat. So KFC is no longer on my table for the time being. Attached a photo of the receipt, it says 2x or????

Ordered online one hour before closing time, only to receive the cancellation notice at closing time. You could also just do it directly...

It was my first time at KFC. I ordered 2 burgers, fries and a drink (voucher for €12.99), got a bucket of chicken wings. (I saw it too late because I had to catch the train). It really wasn't tasty, the meat tasted like it wasn't really cooked through. For me it was the last time there.

I was there today, February 7th, 2025, around 7:00 p.m. The employee who tells you when your order is ready is very rude and looks at you strangely. 🤔 A thin clerk with foreign facial features. I have loved Kentucky all my life, but I will never go to this branch again

Food was cold and had a disgusting consistency... the flavor enhancers didn't help either.

I ordered an Original Bucket and other things today in KFC Leipzig Hbf. 3 chicken thighs are missed, which costs 9€. The staffs are not happy to help. I was satisfied last time, but this time... They really let me down. Chicken bites size are not equally and they are salty.

So I don't know who writes like that here, especially the negative reviews are really questionable. Just stand for several hours at over 40 degrees at the equipment in the kitchen and production stations. I don't understand this complaining at all anymore. In terms of price, it doesn't cost much more than the other fast food chains and it still tastes fresher than the leading chains! Regarding the reviews of the orders, you don't check these when you get them, so I'll do it! I still like to eat something from KFC and it always tastes delicious. Many thanks to all the employees who prepare the products every day, have to endure insults at the checkout every day and then remain friendly. Keep doing your job, because those complaining here aren't doing it! All the best.

Unfortunately, like everywhere else now, catastrophe. Bad service, the food was mostly cold and the employees weren't exactly friendly. The portions are getting smaller and the quality has deteriorated dramatically over the years, which is a shame! The “restaurant” also made a messy and not particularly clean impression. The beverage system in particular was sticky and dirty. I'm angry about the money I spent there. 20 for a meal plus some extra chicken strips. Impudence...

I am a regular at kFC Hbf and have eaten here several times in the last 6 weeks. The food is tasty and the ambience is fine, but one fundamental problem spoils the overall impression: there has been no soap in the toilets for over a month! I have pointed this out to the staff several times, but each time I only get a "yes, yes" response without any action being taken. It's truly embarrassing and unacceptable that something like this is ignored in a restaurant that should take hygiene seriously. Hygiene should be the top priority, especially in the catering industry. I hope that KFC finally takes this problem seriously and ensures that the toilets are properly equipped again. Until then, unfortunately I cannot recommend this location.

The food was terrible, the chicken was completely tasteless and very greasy, and it was cold and raw. The experience remains for me and my family to never return.

I love going to McDonald's, but there were a few problems that day. The coffee area was a bit chaotic and it took longer than usual to get my order. However, the food was delicious, as always. It was okay, but there is still room for improvement.

How can you close at 11 p.m. on the weekend... It's funny that KFC Leipzig always uses pre-written texts where you should contact an email... apparently they take guest feedback very seriously 😂😂😂 the food is bad, too salty and the shop is dirty... here it is my opinion why should I contact an email? The email apparently goes to nirvana because the store just doesn't improve... catastrophic

***EDIT: I deducted more stars at service, customer service was provided with feedback and they wanted to get back to me about this, but since then there was no reaction anymore.*** Chicken bites - very salty and small, not crunchy at all. Zinger burger - odd taste, "chicken" paddy, almost only breading and almost no chicken meat. Chili cheese crunch - nothing besides a little chili cheese sauce and a piece of chicken that covered only a quarter of the bun. Worst fast food experience ever.

Beautifully centrally located at the main train station. The citizens were juicy and fresh (Zinger and BBQ Zinger) Unfortunately, the taste of the bucket wasn't that convincing. The fries were like McDonald's plain and flabby.

The inside of the store is totally rancid and dirty. The chicken for €6 was cold and the portion size was an absolute disgrace. The mashed potatoes for €4(!) were no more than three spoons. Absolutely stupid and a waste of money.

While eating you are approached by beggars every 3 minutes. Very uncomfortable. They even beg children. But apparently it's not a problem for KFC.

I ordered 6 hot wings to take away. At home I found that there were only four. For the price I'm really disappointed, something like that shouldn't happen.

Just spent 18 euros on a meal with drink. Was told I was a thief by a member of staff for taking some water for medication. Small minded service personnel who clearly need proper training.

Shift management very unsympathetic when there is a problem

We arrived 5 minutes before closing time. The staff was very friendly and calmly explained what was left. The quality of the fries and bits was no longer the best at 11 p.m. However, I like going to KFC and can still rate it positively.

Ordering went quickly, but: fries had the consistency of pressboard, the mashed potatoes had two (2!) tablespoons in them when it came up and not even the chicken breading was crispy; Don't even get me started on the limp burgers, not good for my blood pressure in any way.. 😅 All this for prices like those in a star restaurant. Tldr: Worst meal in the last 5 years, never again. 🤮

Fast “processing” at the KFC in Leipzig HBF. Food was good.

I'm still speechless...! I had dinner here with my wife and son last Friday in the evening. What was on offer was just bad!!! Completely exorbitant prices for incredibly bad food. 3 packages of cold, unseasoned fries that tasted like cardboard, an ice-cold citizen with bacon that must have spent the last hour in some drawer with the fries, and some equally cold pieces of chicken that were 60 percent bones?!?! Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the story!!! Completely sticky tables and leftover food lying around rounded off the visual, hygienic, price, financial and taste disaster. When I tried to complain about the food, I didn't meet anyone who understood me. I was referred to a man who, however, tried to revive a crashed cash register throughout our entire stay. In the end we fled hungry, horrified and almost €40 poorer. ĶFÇ ? NO THANKS!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Probably one of the worst meals at KFC I’ve had so far. Food was room temperature, not even warm and fries were definitely not fresh. The only thing that stoped me from throwing it away, I was too hungry…

The taste is so boring Eat but don't want to come next time

I definitely can't recommend the store. There was a hair in my food... something like that absolutely shouldn't happen if all hygiene measures were adhered to. Well, there definitely won't be a second visit there.

We used to enjoy eating at KFC, but this time the whole thing seemed restlessly disorganized, like a rush order. At least we were served quickly. The unseasoned chicken pieces had no breading but a mushy bit on the outside, but the fries were dry. The coleslaw was still frozen. Really, I've rarely experienced something so disgusting! Going to KFC for the first time and ordering the “Super Deal XL Menu” – thought I’d treat myself to something good. BUT NO! What do I find in my food? FEATHERS!! Yes, you read that right, FEATHERS! I was so shocked, I thought I was in the wrong movie. How can you even sell something like that? The employees weren't interested either, just embarrassing. I will never set foot in this store again. KFC – King of Feathers Chicken, or what? Disgusting.

One of the worst KFC's I've been to. Not clean enough, portions are smaller than usual, and drink choice is poor (only drinks without sugar). I wouldn't recommend visiting this KFC if you like the franchise in general, as you'd be pretty disappointed.

Regular KFC. Quite expensive anyway, but what do you expect at the train station? Otherwise everything is good.

Unfortunately the atmosphere was very bare and dirty in some places (not particularly inviting). The service was good and the food itself was good too, unfortunately there was almost only spicy chicken (I don't really like it) so 3 stars for the food.

Yesterday I have to buy 1 box and take away,so sad Only one piece of fried chicken was freshly fried, but the other two pieces of fried chicken I'm not sure how long they were fried, they were hard and very salty. Every week I would buy fried chicken, but from now on I won't eat it anymore.

Crew were really awesome! I was late on telling them that I wanted thigh part but they already prepared the breast part for me. But the manager was really kind and offered me still the thigh part. Good start for a vacation.

There is no such thing as a regular cola! Just "Zero". The showerhead is also “Zero”. All that remains is iced tea or apple if you don't want sweeteners for good reasons.

One staff is very rude (without name tag). I ordered take away online. Came to the counter and asked politely if it's already avalaible to pickup. She yelled at me, then changed my 2 cups from large to small size by again screaming at me, asking me give them the large ones back. Food is in small portion in comparision to price I would not recommend here untill they improve their customer service

I ordered two chicken cheeseburgers and got two chicken cheeseburgers that were spicy, I specifically said that I didn't want spicy sauce, no one listened, I think it's a real shame.

KFC LEIPZIG HBF Order ok as always. But …unfortunately I’ve never had such terribly bad bites before…. Firstly, extremely tiny (the nuggets at McDonald’s are bigger) and secondly, totally over salted. Just can't happen!!!!! Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. I therefore have to advise against the restaurant in Leipzig.

Unfortunately, you have to check your order at the counter every time because something is always missing, even though the order is now electronic. Today I paid for coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy but didn't get it. There was also watered down Fanta in the dispenser for Schwipp Schwapp. Either this is a clever business tactic to save money or the staff is fundamentally untrained and overwhelmed.

The Crew Personal are so unfriendly! I respect the foreigners who are working there but to some point they are so unrespectful! I asked if i can use the Toilet and have the code and a crew foreigner shouted at me to not talk to her ! The other crew just stared and did not answer for help! I understand she has language barrier but at least she can say it more friendlier! At least learn some manners!

Price performance ratio very strange… 1 chicken part €5.99? Um, but hello? I don't know what that was supposed to be but the others who walked past us had full bowls but I'm serious that we got it that way Once and never again :(

Possibly the worst KFC in Europe. Chicken very salty (is that because it's old), coating burnt, salty or very pale. Crap selection of drinks just the cancer causing sugar free with sugar is more healthy but it doesn't tell you this when ordering. Miserable staff. Avoid like Moscow

Before eating: You can order at the terminal (4 pieces) or at the counter. This stands out very positively from the competition (Burger King), where I was recently refused an order at the counter and was sent away to the terminals. I think it's good to have the option here. I took the terminal because I wanted to browse first. Somehow I had the impression that the same 3 cuts of meat were being offered in ever new combinations. As a result, the appearance of a wide range of products is deceptive, but the branch can't do anything about it - it's probably the standard KFC offer. Among other things, I took a very simple burger for €2 (just to try it). But the disappointment was very great: the “topping” didn’t even fill the roll, which was somehow sobering. The preparation was as good as possible, nothing was squashed or anything like that. Waiting number was announced in German and English. You can expect it at a train station, but it's not a given (with the competition), I thought it was good. Conclusion: Very good branch, KFC's product range is rather sobering. The products themselves taste good.

Had to correct my last review, and for the worse. Unfortunately there are only zero drinks left, I ordered a double Chessburger, what did I get? A spicy burger... You didn't respond to my email, so save your standard sentence!

Friendly staff, really cleaner than expected for a main station, the food looked good and tasted delicious, the waiting times were perfectly fine despite the restaurant being full!

I was at KFC a week ago because I haven't been at KFC for a long time, but the food was delicious, I barely paid for it and the food was ready, highly recommended😄😊.

This was the first KFC branch where I couldn't choose the menu items myself. Well, you got your own drink anyway, but when it comes to side dishes you usually have the choice between fries, coleslaw, corn on the cob or mashed potatoes. Unfortunately there were only fries here. The burger, which was ready after a surprisingly short wait, was still lukewarm at best, only the fries seemed fresh. By the way, there was no ketchup or mayo either. The "ambience" was okay for a shop at the train station, but could definitely be better.

They wanted to tell me today that the vouchers can only be redeemed online. There are two types of vouchers in the app, one that can actually only be used online and the other that can be redeemed directly at the counter. Funnily enough, I redeemed a voucher on site at this branch a week ago. Here the world is made as the operator likes it...

The large fries they provide are smaller in quantity compared to those at McDonald's or Burger King. However, a positive aspect is the availability of soft drinks, which can be refilled any number of times.

Very nice service, no unnecessarily long waiting times. Unfortunately the BBQ crunch was taken out of the range… unfortunately it was the best burger…

This was the third attempt to enjoy something at KFC today. We had a burger and a few bites. With the burger the bread was just soft and falling apart. In terms of taste, it didn't taste like anything except peppery. The bites were also eaten immediately on the spot and were not crispy. Probably fried way too short. All in all, we generally wouldn't eat at KFC again. The breading just tastes spicy.

During these 3 years, many products were removed from a normal meal. Such as the tissue papers, boxes of burgers.... The spices have unfortunately changed multiple times. Such as the ones for colonel fries and burgers. The dining room was more comfortable, and now it's just redesigned to have more chairs. However, I like the self-order machines more than waiting to get my order taken by an employee. I noticed that everything shrunk in size, too, in addition to increasing the prices. But hey, inflation.

I think it's great that the employees shout the numbers into the crowd so that everyone knows that number 33 is ready. Order some throat lozenges to support your vocal cords ;)

Yesterday I visited this place for the fifth time and the truth is, I am not going to return, the woman who served me seems to be from India and is very unfriendly, she does things reluctantly and her attention was actually unpleasant.

Probably more general than this restaurant specifically, but still: The Chick & Chill Bucket (now a different name, same price) used to contain two sauces, not only is that now gone, no, the "meat" consists of 65% breadcrumbs, the fries taste like cardboard. I'm not exaggerating here, they literally taste like pure "substance". No spice, limp. For these 10 € we ate a filling and wholesome meal in a restaurant. The €9.99 deal used to make us want to stop by KFC. Now they have definitely lost two customers. Never again.

I ate at KFC today. That was my first time. It was extremely crowded, so the employees were very stressed but still friendly. I ate the 18 HW, highly recommended and super tasty.

I was in this KFC restaurant today and ordered Original Burgerbox with you. Because of my book fair ticket I got a 10% discount, this is a great promotion. The staff was very friendly despite it being very busy and the food was very fresh. Unfortunately some tables were dirty, but that's understandable when there's so much going on. But I'll definitely be back

Sometimes employees are incompetent

As a traveler, I can only say that the fries are extremely bad, the burger works like that and the waiting time is extremely because the staff is very slow when preparing the order. Advise everyone from this Kentucky.

Today I wanted to sit at KFC for 20 minutes (for a drink) and wait for the train time. I sat there for almost two minutes before ordering. Afterwards an employee came and told me that I wasn't allowed to sit without ordering. I understand, this is normal. Maybe many people come in the day just to sit. But although I said that of course I would order, please wait a moment, she waited by my side. Is there a sign on the door that says “Place your order first”? No. Can't I buy something after I leave my thing? How can your worker instruct me like "IMMEDIATELY"? The normal thing is to give the customer two more minutes. If you see I'm still sitting without an order, then tell me you want me to leave. Your employee's attitude was very rude and demeaning. Location: Leipzig train station, at 2:55 p.m

If the coleslaw is the best part of the meal, then a lot went wrong. The cleanliness on and under the tables left a lot to be desired. When it came to the chicken pieces, it seemed like there was just a lot of pepper in the breading. It was a shame for every cent.

Didn't get any fries. It also cost €2 or more and didn't pay €2 for anything. Pepsi also simply tasted like syrup and felt like it was sticky

Unfortunately, this branch makes an unclean impression. We chose our own food from the ordering machine. Ok we had to wait a while but the food was hot and looked freshly prepared. There was no feel-good factor here because there was rubbish lying around everywhere. It's a shame because we'd actually rather go to a rapid test facility than to the competition.

Mashed potatoes get cold after 3 minutes, and this time the mashed potatoes taste like run of the mill and not particularly tasty as usual. The behavior of the (female) staff behind the counter left a lot to be desired. Only one male employee checked on the well-being of the customers during his tour, especially thanks to these armies. And you should have a conversation with the staff behind the counter about "work ethic" and "friendliness towards the customer"...

It's fast food. What else is there to say.
