Freshly pounded schnitzels in many different variations. Delicious food at a reasonable price, the staff is very friendly. I can only recommend this restaurant.

We were there on Christmas Day and had to wait an hour for the soup. After another hour only the second course was at the table. During the main course there were fewer shutters than the number of people we were. It seemed as if everyone there was overwhelmed. We also heard one of the cooks complaining about us. But the food itself tasted good. But I wouldn't go there again.

0 stars for this lousy restaurant! Unfortunately you have to give at least one star to get rid of this. Unfriendly rude staff. tough schnitzel and limp fried potatoes. The cook was probably hopelessly overwhelmed. Just like the waitress in the "service" who actually wasn't there, the lady was just annoyed and snotty. And for no good reason! I can only advise against this lousy shop. On the way to the toilet I saw that the cook had slipped a few schnitzels onto the floor. He put them back in the pan🤮🤢we then left the food, which didn't meet expectations anyway, and then we left. I've never experienced anything like that

Hello, I reserved a table beforehand and said that I had a voucher book, so I called again and told them again. Her wife recorded it and asked for the name for the reservation. We came and they asked for the name and assigned us the table so far everything was good Where my wife wanted to pay, she presented the voucher book and was told it would not be accepted because it wasn't on the table, what's the point? We reserved the table with the voucher book with the name and time. You can also overdo it when you're dealing with new customers you don't have to wonder why you won't come back we wanted to test the Schnitzelhaus to see if you could come later with a larger company from a large authority but that's now over and done with so what we don't need that wasn't good behavior from a waitress then from the boss herself. you should think carefully beforehand with whom you are doing something like this, the behavior was completely wrong, we paid in full and now please be happy with the 15 euros more and I hope you leave it with the voucher book in 2025 and also that the voucher book only lasts until November 30th wasn't correct but until December 1st. If you sign up for something like that you should also know until when it's valid and there are also other restaurants that look forward to your visit.

So we were there with an additional couple and a gourmet book for each couple. 2 dishes out of 4 should have been free. However, we still had to pay for the side dishes, which was a violation of the rules. For us it's less about the overpaid money (we still gave a tip) than about the principle. We often see that certain restaurants try to circumvent the rules. It's actually a shame to have a point deducted because of a few fries! The taste was very good. I subtract 2 from 5 for the reasons mentioned above! If you still want to go there with the gourmet book, you should perhaps clarify that beforehand. If they don't correct it themselves!

Lots of choice, thick schnitzel, delicious beer, nice staff. My recommendation is the schnitzel aioli Unfortunately, after asking, I received no recommendation from the waitress and only 5 croquettes for 3€ Reserve in advance!

Always nice when you wait for your food and hear how your schnitzel is being freshly made in the kitchen. Very large selection of very tasty schnitzels, generous portions, friendly service and a great greeting from the kitchen in advance... I'll definitely come back again!

We came here by chance. Choose from many schnitzels, also very special ones. We each chose a different one and loved both. Beautifully presented and at a decent price. Very friendly service and a typical small-scale village restaurant. Highly recommended!

Tastes good but I've eaten better

We reserved a table online for 6:30 p.m. We received the following confirmation by email: "June 22, 2024, time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.". So we assumed that the reservation was valid until 7 p.m. But when we got there they said in a very unfriendly tone: You had reserved for 6.30 p.m., now we have already given away your table." When we pointed out the email, we were told that it was the time of stay. ??? How do you manage to order, wait for the food and eat and drink within half an hour??? And do you have to give a reserved table to someone else after 20 minutes??? We were very annoyed, especially by the very unfriendly tone of both innkeepers. We were reprimanded like underage children by strict teachers. We've never experienced anything like this before! Nevertheless, we had a lovely evening with a fantastic meal at the great Greek restaurant around the corner. Very nice atmosphere, incredibly nice and attentive service staff. Very nice service with really good food. The portions are large. Any time.

We drove by because of the good reviews and honestly can't understand them at all. Waited a long time for the food, drinks as well, no friendly service, rather rude. We were advised against changing the side dishes because it wasn't fresh. When asked whether the original ingredient/side dish was fresh, they said “No, not that either”. What difference does it make then please? It seemed like you were just too lazy. When asked, the greeting from the kitchen was not allowed to be kept, even though it had not even been eaten. Unfortunately it was the best part of the meal, the rest was okay. Toilet was also broken. Overall it wasn't a nice experience and unfortunately not worth the price. Wouldn't come again.

Huge selection of schnitzels, tasty and inexpensive been here for the second time today Emsland is a schnitzel region, but the best schnitzels in countless variations and flavors are available here. It's absolutely worth it, even if you have to travel 20 km. Great value for money. Owner totally friendly

After our visit to the restaurant yesterday, I would like to share my excitement! The food was extremely tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely good. €44 for 2x schnitzel and drinks. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service, which made our experience even more pleasant. Everything seemed fresh and clean, which is very important in the catering industry. Although the location is a bit old, this gives the place its own charm that adds to the overall experience. I can definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!"

Sehr gute Schnitzel. Mit Liebe sehr geschmackvoll zubereitet. Der Service ist super und alle sehr freundlich. Wenn ich in der Nähe bin gehe ich gerne wieder dort essen.

Etwas altbacken aber sonst gemütlich und die Preise erschwinglich. Der Chef kocht selber zu empfehlen ist die Pfanne. Sehr lecker.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten aber ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal im Schnitzelhaus in Lingen. Wer sehr gute Hausmannskost sucht ist hier genau richtig. Unsere Grünkohlsaison wurde perfekt eröffnet. Vielen Dank auch für die sehr nette Bedienung

Das Essen war echt sehr gut. Alles frisch zubereitet man muss halt ein bisschen warten. Dafür wird man dann belohnt! Das Ambiente ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem sehr Gemütlich.

Eine kleine Gastronomie im alten Stil versteckt in lingen ein kleiner geheim tipp falls man mal wieder richtig gute schnitzel essen möchte, waren da und ds war super lecker und die menge ist auch super weiter so kommen sicherlich wieder.

Schnitzel war nicht durch gebraten ,zäh wie Leder. Es war kein hochwertiges Fleisch

Sehr nettes "Kneipenrestaurant" Man sollte sich allerdings vergewissern, ob man auch einen Platz bekommt wenn Veranstaltungen in der nahegelegenen Ems Arena stattfinden. Wir hatten Glück, dass die Wirtin Alex uns dann doch noch mit Pommes Mayo und Bier 🍺 und Ouzo verwöhnt hat. Pommes waren vorzüglich und haben uns "gerettet" Vielen Dank nochmal dafür 👌Auch das übrige Personal war sehr nett und angenehm, natürlich habe ich die Namen vergessen, sorry! Familiär, gemütlich und sehr lecker.

Wir wahren mit einer größeren Anzahl von Personen dort. Nach ein etwas längeren Wartezeit (ca. 1h) kam das Essen. Es war schön angerichtet. Besonders gut war das es die Beilagen in extra Schüsseln gab. Das Essen hat allen geschmeckt und der Service war nett. Die Lokalität hat noch einen Charme von 80er Jahre. Fazit: Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend.

Ein nettes Haus mit familiärem Ambiente. Man fühlte sich gleich aufgenommen und sehr wohl. Der Service war Excellent...danke nochmal!

Dieses Lokal wird wegen seiner Schnitzel gelobt, jedoch haben wir dort Grünkohl gegessen. Die Portionen waren allemal ausreichend, aber nicht von besonderem Geschmack. Leider wäre eine Säuberung von Salz/Pfefferstreuern schön gewesen. Verklebt und dreckig. Die gesamte Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und sollte dringend saniert werden.
