17.50 for a doner kebab plate is outrageous... We used to go to that kebab shop once a week because they simply have the best doner kebab plates in town. BUT the first price increase from 13.50 to 15.50 was already a shock. Okay, inflation and goods were getting expensive. Okay... When we wanted to eat there again a while ago, we were absolutely stunned. 17.50 for a doner kebab plate... 17.50???? What's the justification? A 3.50 price increase in one year! People are queuing up at lunchtime and in the evening, so you really can't say they're raising prices because the place isn't doing well. Certainly not by 3.50. It makes us very sad; we miss it, but we can't afford it. It's pure exploitation, what a shame. The guys there are very nice, and everything is always very clean.

By far the most disappointing doner kebab in Stuttgart! I'd only heard good things about this restaurant, so I was really looking forward to my first visit. The disappointment was immense! The wait to order was about 35 minutes! Then another 5-10 minutes to pick up the order. The prices are extremely inflated - €21 for one yufka and one doner kebab. Both were very small, and the amount of "filling" was extremely meager. Noticeable: I don't know if this is normal here, but the meat is pre-cut in large quantities and then slowly cools down in the grease in the drip tray before being processed - so it's unfortunately cold before you can eat it. The vegetables are okay, the sauce tastes like little more than plain yogurt. The doner kebab was unfortunately cold, and the meat (chicken) tasted unpleasantly slightly salty and noticeably bitter, like burnt fat. Overall, a bitter and expensive disappointment. If the quality of the doner kebab here is always this poor, I can't understand why some people sing its praises. There are significantly better and cheaper places even in the immediate vicinity. The kebab shop at Feuersee doesn't live up to its good reputation, and after my experience today, I can only advise everyone to choose a different restaurant. They should focus on maintaining high quality in the restaurant instead of relying on celebrity customers and charging exorbitant prices. What a shame!

I've been there three times so far. On my last visit, I received the wrong doner kebab, and unfortunately, I didn't notice until too late. The taste is great, but it's a shame when they don't understand what you say in Turkish – for example, "without onions" or "with ezme." (The lack of Turkish doesn't affect my rating; I only rated the taste and service.) Despite that, it tastes good. Overall, I give it 4.2 out of 5.0 points, because I also ate at the outlet in Metzingen, and the food there was a touch better. Otherwise, I would have given it even more points.

I visited the shop twice. I tried both the yufka and the maxi döner and was particularly impressed by the high quality of the meat – juicy and flavorful. However, the price-to-quantity ratio seemed a bit unbalanced: the yufka was rather small, and the maxi döner could have been a bit more generous for the extra cost. Furthermore, they accidentally added hot sauce to my döner, even though I specifically asked for only the garlic-yogurt sauce – mistakes happen, and I still enjoyed the hot sauce in the end. Overall, the food was very tasty, though the portion sizes could be better.

The Kebaphaus am Feuersee is one of the best kebab shops in Stuttgart, in my opinion. The moment you walk in, you can tell they put their heart and soul into it: the team is incredibly friendly, fast, and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. The kebab itself is fantastic – the meat is juicy, well-seasoned, and, most importantly, fresh. The bread arrives warm and crispy, just as it should be. A particularly nice touch is that the vegetables are always crisp and perfectly prepared. The sauces are homemade and strike the perfect balance between flavor and creaminess. My personal favorite is the yogurt dip combined with the slightly spicy sauce. The price is also excellent. For its location by the Feuersee – right in the heart of Stuttgart – you really get great value for your money. If you like, you can even enjoy your kebab right by the lake, which makes the whole experience even better. In short: if you're looking for a truly good, honest, and fresh kebab, you can't go wrong with the Kebaphaus am Feuersee. Highly recommended!

We were a bit disappointed, unfortunately. The queue was artificially long. And they only wanted to sell us the doner kebab with chicken; beef would only be available on a doner plate, as they hardly had any meat left. We arrived 30 minutes before closing time, and the spit seemed quite full to me. The portions were unfortunately a bit small.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience: I ordered a large doner kebab plate with bread, but instead, chicken was mixed in. The actual yaprak meat was partially burnt, and the portion was by no means large – certainly not for €18. Furthermore, almost half the plate consisted of arugula. The bread I ordered was initially forgotten and only arrived after I asked for it. Overall, unsatisfactory.

The best döner I've tried so far in Stuttgart

I had heard many positive things about the kebab shop at Feuersee. I arrived at 12:30 pm and it was packed. Despite the crowds, the staff were always friendly and attentive. All the seats in the courtyard were still free, so I could enjoy my döner in peace and quiet while enjoying the fresh air. I ordered a steak döner. The meat was well-seasoned, nice and juicy, and very tasty. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The selection of drinks is extensive: In addition to the classics, they offer Club-Mate and Almdudler. I tried Elephant Bay Coke for the first time – it tasted good, but I would still prefer the iced tea. For me, it's the best iced tea ever. The interior design is modern and inviting, and I especially liked the courtyard.

Hi, I have to say the doner kebab was very tasty, but it wasn't worth the wait and the size. It cost almost €10, and all I got was a sandwich with more salad than meat. Still, it was delicious though 🤤

I ate what was probably the best lahmacun of my life here! The dough was crispy, and all the ingredients were fresh. The perfect combination of sauce, salad, and meat makes this lahmacun a true delight. The place is almost always packed—and rightly so. The food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly passionate, preparing every dish with palpable love. An absolute must-visit when you're in Stuttgart!

The doner kebab tasted really good, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The portion was very small, with only about 120g of meat for €10, which I don't think is appropriate for the price. Furthermore, despite there only being 8-9 people ahead of me, I had to wait almost an hour. Other doner shops manage this much better. It's a shame, because the taste had potential.

The doner kebab is truly delicious – well-seasoned, real meat (not pressed stuff), usually fresh salad, and the sauces are perfect, too. The taste is top-notch. I don't visit Stuttgart often, but when I am, this kebab is a must. The meat is fantastic and smoky, the service is super friendly, and as a VfB fan, you feel right at home here. Tip: If you like your kebab a little spicy, just order it without the extra spice (the sauce is already slightly spicy). You can then add more spice to your table if you like it.

My favorite place to eat in all of Stuttgart. Feuersee Döner is truly a top stop for the best falafel. The food is fresh and always of top quality. The portions are rather small, but very tasty! The only drawback is the very long wait. But it's worth it.

We arrived right around noon. It was crowded, so we had to wait a bit in line. But it was nice. There's also plenty of seating inside and outside.

I had the XL doner kebab for 12.90. I think the price is almost too high, but the taste was amazing. The ambiance is impressive, and there's even an outdoor area. The pager system is also great. I would definitely come back!

First of all: the doner meat tastes great, but it's nothing special these days. The regular doner is very small. It won't fill you up. The XL doner is the same size as a regular doner at a rather high price of €11.40. The bottom line: you can do it, but you don't have to.

We ate here for the first time today and unfortunately can't understand all the hype. As a family with a child, we were very disappointed: • The meat was dry, tough, partially burnt, and cold – our son couldn't eat it at all. • My doner kebab and my husband's doner kebab plate were both cold and poorly prepared. • For €15, the doner kebab plate was also very meager and not worth the price. • The bread in my doner kebab was burnt, as were some pieces of meat. One plus: The outdoor area is very cozy and beautifully designed. We've tried many doner kebabs, but this was by far the worst in Stuttgart.

Honest feedback on my former favorite kebab shop: Used to be definitely the best kebab shop in town. Unfortunately, it's declined significantly since the hype. Even though the shop is almost empty, you wait 25 minutes for a kebab. During rush hour, it's obviously much longer. They don't wait until the meat is cooked through, but cut it almost raw from the skewer. Paying €8.90 for a super small kebab just isn't right anymore. I'll be happy to update my review once the issues are resolved!

We ordered one pide per person, which was perhaps a bit short on filling. It was very thin and lacked some filling, but the flavor was very good. Quick and easy service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The employees at the kebab shop speak German, so knowing at least enough German to order is essential. Beyond that, they're attentive to the customers. Service is fast, portions are hearty, the food is delicious, and the price is reasonable. You don't have to sit indoors. They also have a garden area. They give customers a number when they order, but it's difficult to put those numbers in place and insert them into the cylinder. This could be made easier.

We visited on a weekday evening and hardly had to wait long. With the little pagers that beep when the food is ready, ordering went smoothly, and we were able to relax and find a seat with our drinks. I think it's a great solution for making the wait more pleasant without having to stand at the front counter. Overall, the shop is very nice and spacious, with a small terrace at the back. The Döner Kebab XL was truly huge and generously filled. The meat was excellently seasoned, the bread was nice and thin, but sturdy, and not torn or soggy anywhere. The vegetables were also fresh and crisp, and the sauce rounded it all off perfectly without overpowering the flavor of the meat. In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best kebabs in the Stuttgart area and absolutely worth a visit.

A shop to forget about—a complete waste of time! Anyone who wants to buy a kebab here should first test how long they want to stand in the corner as an invisible person. The "service" consists of completely ignoring customers—no greeting, no interest, no reaction. Apparently, they only bother you if you want to leave money. I watched this spectacle for a few minutes, then I was fed up. This shop will never get my money back—I'd rather eat somewhere else where I'm at least noticed as a customer. I've been a customer here for three years. The kebabs taste pretty good, but the wait time is completely unreasonable! Sometimes you wait 20-25 minutes, even though there are only two or three people in line ahead of you. That's simply too long for a kebab shop! The competition does it much better!

At first, I was shocked by the high prices. But it's not cheap mince, and it tastes delicious. I could taste dill, which was very fitting. Plus, the store is clean, and the employees are very friendly.

The atmosphere is good, but the service takes too long for me personally, even though the employees are friendly. Aaaaaaabbbbbbberrrrrr: All employees wear black gloves, and as we all know, rubber gloves are supposed to be clean and tidy. But I'm a quiet and patient customer and like to observe what's going on. Some employees have small children in the store. The kindergarten child needs to go to the bathroom. And disaster strikes... The father leaves the counter with the black gloves already on and used. He accompanies the child to the men's restroom... After about 15 minutes, the child leaves, followed by the father. And unfortunately, the gloves are still on, and he goes into the kitchen and then to the counter. After that, he continued baking pide. Unfortunately, that only gets 1 point! Sorry, you can do better, guys!!! I'm out of here forever with family and friends!

I waited half an hour for the doner kebab. For €9, I felt like I had 80g of meat in my doner kebab. I really only tasted a mix of lettuce, onions, and sauce, no trace of meat. I absolutely don't understand all the good reviews. Definitely not recommended unless you like vegetarian doner kebabs.

The doner kebab is quite good by Stuttgart standards, but rather mediocre by national standards. There are definitely better kebab shops in the surrounding area. The yufka is quite small and tastes okay, but the flatbread, on the other hand, is hard and chewy—like chewing gum in your mouth. Even the decent quality of the meat doesn't help. Overall, the price-performance ratio isn't right. The apparently artificially staged queue is also particularly annoying: After each customer, there's a pause before the next order is taken—presumably to fake a bigger rush. I'm not surprised that Stuttgart residents "jump on" to this. You end up waiting around 30 minutes for all of this. So far, you've been looking in vain for a truly outstanding doner kebab in Stuttgart anyway.
