First time there and got three takeaway meals. Very nice people, food is great. Three different doner kebab plates, and I also tried all the sauces. Unfortunately, it was very majolica-heavy. A nice yogurt and garlic sauce was unfortunately missing. But it's nice that it's so regionally common (WOB/HE). I'm Swabian, and the sauces are different here.

The snack bar is located right in the heart of Helmstedt on a lively corner, directly across from the HEM gas station. Walking in, you immediately feel a Berlin flair (home). You look at the ingredients and their presentation – Berlin flair (home). The guys are all super friendly, competent, and you never get the impression that they're in a bad mood. The doner kebab wrap and the lahmacun taste like they did at my favorite doner kebab shop in Berlin. I feel at home every time I visit and always enjoy coming back!

Really good! I ordered a cheeseburger and a Jägerschnitzel. Delivery took 40 minutes. The driver was in a good mood and very friendly. The cheeseburger, for €6, is very good value for money. The schnitzel is fair and tasty, and the sauce is very generous. The croquettes were a bit soggy, but there's nothing you can do about that. Keep it up, and please don't lower the quality and raise the prices so perversely.

The sauce is a separate story - thick, velvety, perfectly balancing the spiciness of the meat. Fresh vegetables, crispy lettuce and tomatoes add lightness to the whole dish, and the thin, delicate roll only emphasizes the taste of the kebab without dominating it. It's not just fast food, but a real culinary journey. The perfect balance of flavors, variety of textures and aromas make every bite a pleasure. Definitely one of the better kebabs I've ever tried!

Well, in the end, we ordered food at 11:00 a.m. and it arrived at 12:30 p.m., so we didn't accept it because the food was already cold and the supplier had no idea. It's a shame the store has a good rating, the food is definitely good, but the supplier is a disaster. The branch and kebab house are 1.9 kilometers away, so it's a 10-minute drive away. How can it be that an order that costs 10 minutes to drive takes 1 hour?

This evening I spontaneously decided to try a chicken kebab (€6.50) and a cheeseburger (€4). First the kebab, long bread with a good portion of meat, fresh juicy salad and a delicious spicy sauce. Top. The cheeseburger was solid and topped with fresh lettuce. Burger patty was prepared in the deep fryer but still tasted good. Price/performance is definitely well above the level of one of the American burger fast food temples. Lastly, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stop here again and get dinner.

Since I've already tried out various kebab shops in my adopted home of Halle, I thought I'd take a look at a kebab in my parents' hometown. What can I say? My chicken dürüm was perfect. The Dürum was freshly baked, the meat was tender, the sauces, especially the hot ones, had a great flavor and the portion was really big for the price. So Helmstedt also has good kebab. I'd love to come back when I'm in my old homeland. Update June 2024: The Dürüm remains top class. Above all, the homemade bread and the hot sauce are simply delicious.

Otherwise it's just a snack bar like many others, but one of the better ones with a good and varied offering. I haven't been there often.
