Absolut...unser "Haus-Grieche" hat Sommerferien. Hier haben wir gleichwertigen Ersatz gefunden...

Das Essen war wieder fantastisch. Alles frisch, bei humanen Preisen. Parken ist nicht so gut aber wenn's so gut schmeckt nehme ich das in kauf. Ich habe dort gegessen.

Für mich das beste Gyros im Kreis Bergisch Gladbach Das ist auch weite Fahrten Wert Gutes Gyros. Gute Preise. Gibt nichts zu merken.

Wir haben heute erstmals etwas beim Kavala-Grill zu essen geholt. Es war sehr lecker, zudem sehr faire Preise und man ist dort sehr freundlich. Können wir nur empfehlen!

Ich hatte Gyros mit Pommes und Tzatziki. Das Fleisch war gut gewürzt und außen schön knusprig, innen saftig. Die Portion war großzügig und die Pommes frisch aus der Fritteuse. Das Tzatziki war angenehm frisch und nicht zu schwer. Der Service war freundlich und das Essen kam schnell, obwohl einige Gäste im Laden waren. Fazit: Solider griechischer Grill mit guter Portion und fairen Preisen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Hat für mich komplett jeden Dönerladen ersetzt, da es sich noch um echten Schicht-Gyrosspieß handelt. Außerdem sind die Betreiber immer super nett.

When the guys took over this small but perfectly formed business, family-run for decades and firmly established in Gladbach, I admit I was a little worried. Would the quality stay just as good? Would the prices be significantly increased? Would it no longer be possible to have a pleasant conversation while waiting for your perfect gyro? But all worries were unfounded: The lovingly run snack bar remains in the family, the gyro is still world-class, the tzatziki and coleslaw are as delicious and homemade as ever, the prices are perfectly reasonable, and the friendly, warm conversation over the counter is still free! We've been loyal customers for many years and will certainly remain so for many more!

I've known Kavala for as long as I can remember. Back then, I used to go there with my dad (30 years ago), and now I go there with my kids. The best fries 👍🏻 Falafel pita 👍🏻 The prices are unbeatable. Always happy to come back 🤩

It's still a typical snack bar with a few seats on stools. The price/performance ratio is very good as the two guys focus on making things a little more expensive instead of making them completely more expensive, so that you come twice a month or more instead of once. That's something you rarely find, unfortunately, which is why the prices hardly change. I highly recommend it, especially their mayo, I think it's the best in the area. You have to try it.

We just got gyros and fries and I have to admit, they were absolutely delicious! Great meat, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy. The two gentlemen were also very charming and friendly 😊 We'll definitely be back again!!! 5 stars with all our heart!

Went back today after a long time. New owners, two nice young guys who, in our opinion, do their job much better than the previous owner. The gyros also seemed tastier and leaner overall, and the farmer's salad wasn't almost entirely made of cucumber like it used to be. Keep up the good work, we wish you all the best.

Really delicious gyros and cevapcici. However, it's not quite as good as it was with the previous owners and the prices have risen quite a bit. We usually pre-order by phone for pickup. Eating on site is rather unpleasant in the small shack at the front.

Visited you for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of a neighbor and just again. We'll definitely come by more often now 😍 Even my wife, who doesn't usually like eating gyros, tried it with me and ordered it herself today and is thrilled. Schnitzel with fries great portion 1A + gyros with fries 1A + rice noodles with gyros 1A + everything tasted very tasty. The service was also very friendly and nice. I've been putting up with a lot of travel for this gyro for more than 20 years now. I have never experienced the staff as unfriendly or even disrespectful. On the contrary! It couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating! That's why I don't understand the previous speaker's assessment. I witnessed this situation live and was shocked at how disrespectfully the staff was treated. To then give such a review is already a statement. (It also says a lot if you only rate it negatively ;) In any case, I have a very clear recommendation!

I've been going there to get my food for over 40 years. Nothing ever happened. I always got along politely with all 4 previous owners. Quite simply... the best gyros roaster in the area, clean, homemade gyros skewer, good salads. The ambience cannot actually be rated, there is the possibility to eat something on site, dry and heated, but more of a snack bar type, which is irrelevant because most people take their food with them.

Tasty, filling, inexpensive - everything you need in such small food places. This is an improved version of street food, here in particular you can sit at a table. But more people order food to go. Bonus - in addition to the usual drinks, there are a couple of types of beer. Well, my favorite Greek salad, after all, is an institution of Greek cuisine😊

Standard. Here the fries can be packed under the meat. Not separately, that would then have to be paid individually 😃.... Unfortunately there is no exception, what would the other customers say? I was there alone, no one would have noticed... 😄 These are the kind of people who should install a machine. There's no need to be amazed. I like arriving home with soggy fries. Meat was very soft but quickly too dry tzatziki So all in all, another standard Greek who also likes to educate customers about plastic plates, the design and taboos. The joke was that I only took meat without fries 🤦‍♀️. Was cheaper. 😅 People used to go there nationwide because it was the best. The meat is okay today

Gyros completely absolutely top. The meat, the fries, the coleslaw and especially the fresh tzatziki... extremely delicious. I've been going there on and off for almost 30 years. Kavala grill is a household name in GL and the surrounding area. Price/performance is very good. The wait is worth it!

The Kavala Grill has always been considered - and rightly so - as the best Greek gyros snack bar in and around Gladbach. The gyro skewer is personally layered by the boss every morning and the tzatziki is also homemade and is still looking for competition on an equal level. With their warm manner, the two of them always convince me to stop there for a moment, take a Gyros Complete or Pita with me and a short conversation is always included! 1 star deducted for the ambience, this is due to the street and the fact that you can only eat OK on site in summer. But that's complaining at a high level. I was never sold on gyros until I discovered Kavala Grill! For vegetarians, I recommend Veggi Pita, filled with tzatziki and plenty of mixed salad. So far everyone has been really excited about it!

Die Adresse in Bergisch Gladbach, möchte man RICHTIG gutes Gyros essen! Der Imbiss ist familiär geführt. Man wird immer freundlich bedient. Die Preise sind äußerst fair für wirklich leckeres Essen. PS. Laut meiner Frau sind auch die vegetarischen Gerichte zu empfehlen.
