Essen war sehr lecker. Katzen zuckersüß.

Waren (im Oktober) spontan zu zweit dort, dass Essen war sehr lecker, vor allem das Sandwich und der Latte. Die Katzen sind sehr süß und ruhig und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Gehe seit dem Besuch öfter in eine andere Filiale und kann es jedem empfehlen :)

Gehe seit der eröffnung regelmässig hin, essen ist immer super, besonders das tempelsandwich und die würzschokolade sind 10/10, Die etwas gehobenen Preise sind meiner meinung nach absolut durch die katzen gerechtfertigt einzige kritik ist, dass die letzten male immer genau eine einzige Kellnerin gearbeitet hat die teilweise joggen musste weil sie den ganzen laden alleine bedienen durfte, mein beileid

Nettes Café mit nettem Vibe, leider war der Cappuccino eine Katastrophe. Erinnerte mehr an einen Milchkaffee mit schaun drauf. Wenn ihr das verbessern könntet, wäre super.

Ich war vor ungefähr 3 wochen mit meinem Freund im Katzentempel ich mache das öfter das ich wo auch immer ich kann Katzentempel besuche mit dem Ziel irgendwann alle besucht zu haben und das war bisher die coolste erfahrung die ich hatte. Der Service also besser gesagt Mia hat ihren Job erstaunlich gemacht und dafür gesorgt das ich bei weitem den besten besuch im Katzentempel hatte. Wirklich 10/10

Das Essen ist super, der Service meistens auch und insgesamt ist das Konzept sehr stimmig.

Wirklich ein hervorragendes Restaurant! Die Reservierung war schnell und unkompliziert zu buchen und den Tisch hat man auch direkt ohne großes Drama direkt bekommen. Das Essen war zwar etwas teurer, aber dafür dass alles in vegan zubereitet wird waren wir alle sehr zufrieden. Man hat keinen Unterschied zu einem "nicht-veganen" Essen gemerkt. Wirklich einzigartig und nur weiterzuempfehlen!

Wir haben uns sehr auf den Besuch im Katzentempel gefreut, leider wurden wir massiv enttäuscht. Der Service ist eine reinste Katastrophe wir wurden erst nach 20 min. beachtete bzw wurde uns dann die Speisekarte gegeben. Zudem hatten wir einen burger bestellt den wir leider nicht bekommen haben und uns einfach ein Sandwich hingelegt wurde mit den Worten " das wird schon schmecken ", anschließend wollten sie uns noch den burger berechnen. Ich kann den katzentempel leider nicht weiterempfehlen egal wie schön das Ambiente auch ist.

Sehr schöne Umgebung guter Kaffee und Getränke

Ich war jetzt schon öfters im Katzencafe und war eigentlich immer zufrieden aber leider diesmal nicht. Ich war am 3.1.26 mit meiner Freundin dort und haben reserviert. Anstatt wir einen Tisch wo man Füsse zu Boden stellen kann bekamen wir einen Bar Tisch. Die Katzen und das Ambiente kein Problem und toll aber das Essen. Habe Tiramiezu gehabt( siehe Bild ). ein kleines Stück für 6.90 Euro .Warum so teuer? Meine Freundin ein bananenbrot was verbrannt war ebenfalls für 6.90 Euro. Haben es reklamiert, meine Freundin bekam ein neues Stück aber die Bedienung meinte, dass es doch net verbrannt ist. Allgemein mussten wir noch 20minuten warten bis alles kam. Gut Café war voll. Warum sind da nicht mehr Bedienungen da? Ich kann absolut das Katzencafe nicht mehr empfehlen wegen den teuren Preisem. Zuletzt wo ich dort war, war das Stück Tiramiezu noch etwas größer. Ich bzw wir waren richtig verärgert! 2 Sterne nur für die Katzen und das Ambiente. Ob wir dahin nochmal kommen, keine ahnung

Overall, the food was good; the temple burger was excellent. The cats are also very beautiful, and the ambiance is lovely. The only downside is the high price; one hopes this ensures the cats receive high-quality food and have access to the outdoors.

I visited this place for the first time at lunchtime and would love to come back. The cute cats were a bit sleepy at that time, but three or four of them were awake and patiently watched us eat. Despite the somewhat high price, the food was excellent; even the vegan meat alternatives were great (even though I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan). The service was also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also easily accessible on foot from the train station.

Food, service, ambiance – everything was top-notch, 110% high quality. Wonderful cats. The owners and staff work with heart and empathy. We made the 80 km trip for the first time and will definitely be back.

I received a gift voucher and wanted to redeem it. At the checkout, we were told that redemption wasn't currently possible in Erlangen, but there was another cat store in Hamburg where it worked... speechless....

The cats are great, but the food and coffee unfortunately aren't. We ordered bruschetta as a snack. Normally, you'd expect vegetarian food from a restaurant to actually taste good. Besides, it was far too expensive for three small, half-eaten rolls with a thin layer of spread.

I really like KT Erlangen and highly recommend it. The food is really good and healthy too. The burgers are delicious, and my mom's apple pie was good as well.

We were thrilled with the huge vegan selection. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The staff was also incredibly attentive and friendly. The only thing I would have liked was that the portions could have been a bit bigger.

I adore cats and have been here twice already. The space is large, with tables both indoors and outdoors, and high chairs available. There are six cats here. Mickey, a Siamese, is our favorite. The cats are wonderful, don't scratch, and are very sweet and friendly, unlike their chain cafe in Nuremberg. Mickey happily climbs onto your lap when allowed, and it's a pleasure to scratch him; he purrs and is very happy. As for the food, it's nothing special, but the decor is very pretty, with paw prints and hearts. One time, they didn't bring us napkins, and there were no cutlery stands. Sometimes the cats jump on the tables and walk on them...

Everything was filthy, including the tables and windowsill. The toilet was also very dirty and smelled bad. The food was cold and the plates weren't properly clean either.

The cats are great – no question about it. But unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was mediocre at best, but priced in a way that's completely unjustifiable. On top of that, we had an experience that no guest should have to deal with: We had a 10% discount voucher from a cat-themed giveaway. Instead of using it, we were told that it "wouldn't be worth it anyway." On a bill of around €51, it would have been a mere €5. Not a fortune – but a clear indication of how they want to treat their guests. And that's the crux of the matter: Why invest money to attract new customers if you're just going to lose them again on-site with this kind of attitude? It doesn't seem well-thought-out, and certainly not respectful. The bottom line: Nice concept, cute cats. But the service and value for money don't match up. We won't be back.

Delicious food, a bit pricey, but filling enough to fill you up. Very friendly service and, of course, cute cats sleeping, playing, or even cuddling. During our visit, it was still a bit chilly in the restaurant, but it was only half an hour after opening, so it wasn't busy yet.

Everything was perfect, as always! The cats look very well-groomed and interact easily with the guests. Everything is vegan, delicious, and I really like it! Especially the new winter menu. The waitress is super nice and friendly, even though it was really busy :) I'll definitely be back again.

Unfortunately, a very negative experience. The two positive things were the cats and the vegan menu. However, the tables were very dirty and weren't wiped down during our entire stay, even when guests changed! So everything was sticky. Cleanliness was generally difficult. The restroom was really, really bad. The urinal in particular was yellow and a negative feature. The waitress dropped a glass. The broken pieces were only roughly swept up, despite the cats. As for the food: One of our two dishes was cold, the other a bowl. Warm chili is really no problem. The glasses were also sticky on the outside, even though we ordered water. Definitely not a recommendation. Too bad, the concept would be good.

We recently ate here and it's a really exciting and successful concept. Everything is pretty light and bright. However, I think the staff management is really poor. Having one person in service who also helps with preparing the food and is already overwhelmed with the number of guests is really not particularly professional. We were also brought the wrong drink, but we didn't complain because the server was really nice and we didn't want to stress her out any further. Other friends who actually like going there said similar things. In the end, all I can say is that I'm really disappointed because the concept and the food are really good. It would just be advisable to have a second person in service. I hope this message is taken to heart. We will definitely come back anyway.

DON'T DRINK THEIR MATCHA LATTE! Apart from their matcha latte, which really tastes like seaweed, the food is pretty reasonable. I wouldn't go there for breakfast, as their breakfast menu isn't particularly worthwhile, HOWEVER, the sandwiches, fries, and burgers are top-notch! 👍

Waited 20 minutes until a very listless waitress took our order!!! I had a Coke and my wife an apple pie!!! The slice (there's no other way to describe it) with a scoop of ice cream from a plastic carton and a bit of whipped cream for €8.30!!!! With a small cup of coffee and the Coke, €20 disappeared from my wallet!!!! They advertise with cats for animal lovers and unfortunately disappoint with the price/performance ratio!! We were there once and won't be going back!!!! Sincerely

It was nice to have cats roaming around everywhere and to be able to pet them. The atmosphere was pleasant. We sat in the backyard and unfortunately, there was a constant smell of litter and feces, which wasn't so pleasant. I also wondered why they only serve vegan food. My son, who loves cats, preferred to celebrate his birthday somewhere else because he also enjoys meat. Unfortunately, the cat temple was out.

The only thing that's really great about the cat temple are the cats. We were there spontaneously a few days ago, and sorry, but I've never experienced such service before—unfriendly or they just stand there and chat. When we asked, "Excuse me, can you recommend something?" Just look at the menu, it's all there, right? As I said, the only thing that's helpful and friendly are the cats. The service was great. The interior of the place looked beautiful. The food came quickly and was also excellent. The portions were more than filling. It was already almost 30 degrees Celsius in the morning, so we sat in the back. The floor there was made of stones/gravel, and the cats used that as their litter box. And whenever the wind died down a bit, a pungent odor would come from the cat room. We'd definitely go back, but we'd rather go back in the fall/winter, not in midsummer, because of the smell.

Interesting concept, but weak. Cleanliness is rather secondary; the toilet smells, and the cat litter box also smells. Can't rate the food, as we only stayed for a drink because the kids wanted to see the cats a little longer. There were hardly any other guests there, though we were there in the early afternoon. We won't be back.

A very successful concept, both for the cats and the guests. The two of us were there, enjoyed the "Morning Sun" and the hangover breakfast, and drinks included a matcha latte (with an Oatly barista). Three cats passed by during our breakfast, all of them curious, relaxed, and very well-groomed. The service was very friendly and gave us good advice. I'm really looking forward to eating here again soon :) Thumbs up.

In Nuremberg, they said the next spot wouldn't be available for over an hour. So I booked an appointment online in Erlangen – but the branch was closed early. Nevertheless, the website allowed bookings – without any notice! Very disappointing. Great concept, but poor organization.

A lovely place for cat lovers to linger. ‼️🚨 However, as a cat lover and cat owner, it was painful to observe how some families allowed their children to interact with the animals unsupervised. The cats were disturbed, touched, and harassed while resting – without consideration for their needs. Although the rules of conduct are clearly written and clearly stated, I believe it would be helpful if the staff actively and verbally reminded families, especially with children, of the importance of treating the animals with respect. We were there today. I thought it was really cute. Food 10/10 Service 9/10. I don't know, maybe one of the girls was a bit too young (but it could have been a summer job or something). The lady was a bit shy ☺️. Unfortunately, the cats were hardly visible, but that's why they're cats 😂😂😂. And well, if you don't like cats, you shouldn't go in, or if you have allergies, you should avoid them. But you only go in if you do like cats ☺️. All in all, we'll be back. I like it 💪👍✌️

Yesterday I went to the Cat Temple for the second time. I'm currently working on reducing my meat consumption, and I also love cats. What could be better than the Cat Temple? The first time, I had the chickpea curry. It was super delicious. Yesterday, the dumpling tart was also excellent. The highlight, however (besides the cats, of course), was the tiramisu. This is served with flowers that add a wonderful touch of color and flavor. The cats are super cute, and their relaxed demeanor helps me eat more slowly (unfortunately, I often eat much too quickly).

There were no cats there, we only found out when we asked. Due to construction work, they were housed elsewhere.

I went to the Cat Temple with my daughter a few weeks ago, and we had a negative experience. We ordered a burger that tasted absolutely disgusting. When we asked if we had to pay for it (we immediately informed them and didn't finish the burger), we were told yes, we had to pay for it after consulting with the manager. No concessions, like free drinks or anything else. That was the first and last time we went there. We don't even get a star.

I was there on my birthday and was actually really happy. But unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. We had a smoothie bowl, too expensive for the small quantity, a few spoons & that was it. The taste was ok. Had two homemade sodas, one was good and the other just tasted like water. Unfortunately not worth the “hype” at all & too expensive for what you get. But at least the cats were cute.

The burgers, and especially the fries, were very, very good for the price! And the atmosphere was even more amazing. Everyone was very relaxed, very positive, not the usual everyday hustle and bustle. The cats also did a great job!

The combination of a beautiful ambience, friendly service, delicious food and the cute cats makes the visit an unforgettable experience. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, we had a mishap on our last visit. A drink was knocked over and we tried to save the situation with napkins. Only after approaching the waitress and asking for a cloth did she come back with it, a bucket and a drying cloth. She asked us to also mop and dry the floor. Spilled drinks or food are part of the normal business operations of a catering establishment, and it is the staff's job to professionally remedy such mishaps. Of course, a guest can help out of courtesy if they want, but it should never be an expectation or even a request from the restaurant. Good service is characterized by the staff reacting in a friendly manner, taking care of the cleaning and not causing an unpleasant situation for the guest. Otherwise, we think the concept and the menu are good.

When we asked where we could sit (1/3 of the seats were occupied) we were asked if we had reserved online... we hadn't. When asked if she could check if there was anything available, she rolled her eyes in annoyance and answered no. Another family behind us had the same experience after making an online reservation and they were allowed to sit down. But we lost our mood.

Finally I was in the cat temple. Very clean! Very nice service! A delicious sandwich with a very tasty hot chocolate on the side. Everything vegan. Pretty cats that also find their retreat from us humans. It was so full of people that day but the cats had a very calming, almost hypnotic effect. Personally, I was still missing regality and biology or I hadn't noticed it. I would like to come back again when it is not so crowded. When business is booming, I am happy for the owner and the existence of the business. It is something special with individuality and passion.

I was there at the weekend, the atmosphere was good, the cats could be petted But in the end they calculated the bill incorrectly and I only noticed it when I was out and didn't have a bill to hand. Since my son is vegan, we chose this restaurant - we didn't regret it, we were even very pleasantly surprised - the food tasted excellent - the burgers didn't taste much different from "normal" burgers - we'll be happy to come back!

We came for the cats the first time and now again for the food and service (cats are a great plus). Nice staff, fantastic bowls and desserts. Prices absolutely reasonable for what you get! We really enjoy coming to you, it's worth every journey.

Overall we felt the visit was very limited and didn't really offer what we were hoping for. Perhaps a little more flexibility, opportunities for interaction and friendlier care could be created here to make the visit more attractive for cat lovers.

We went to the Cat Temple on a Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. When you try to pet the cats, they let you know that they don't like being petted. When the delicious food was served, a tomcat jumped straight onto the table and sniffed the food. It wasn't a problem to scare him away from the table.
