Delicious food and good portion sizes. The cats weren't very active during our visit and were rather reserved, but nobody can help that. After all, they're only human and need their own space :) The only (minor!!) drawback is that you sometimes sit very close to the other tables.

We spontaneously stopped by on a Monday morning because we had 45 minutes until our train left, and we had an absolutely delicious breakfast. The service was very friendly, our food arrived quickly, was lovingly prepared, and very tasty. We were also thrilled that the entire menu is vegan. This allows everyone to simply choose what they want without having to worry about ingredients. The dishes are very diverse, so even people who might otherwise order meat don't miss out. Friends who have already tried delicious burgers and bowls here have already told us this. The cats contributed greatly to a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. One had made itself comfortable on a chair at the next table and was sleeping there, while others occasionally brushed past our legs. We had the impression that the cats here are very well cared for and are kept in a species-appropriate manner. However, one shouldn't expect to be able to cuddle them at any time; rather, one should always respect the animals' autonomy. Along with the menu, you get a "cat etiquette guide" that explains that you should treat the cats with care and not feed them. Very well done!

Beautiful cafe/restaurant. Service could be faster and use the return journeys to take away dirty dishes, for example. Many tables were still unsightly covered with uncleared glasses, food, etc.

We were traveling in a fairly large group and had a really, really great time there. There's a fantastic selection of vegan dishes, and I absolutely love the concept of a cat restaurant with a vegan menu. I definitely recommend the raspberry tart and burger del gatto! The food is very fresh, and as a non-vegetarian/vegan, I highly recommend it. I really liked how the cute four-legged friends are cared for and how the staff treated them. At one point, the waitress gave us treats, and the cute cats all came up to us. So, it's definitely worth a visit!💕

I always enjoy coming here. The service is very attentive and friendly. It's such a relief to be able to simply "order everything from the menu" since all the delicious dishes are 100% plant-based🌱 . The coffee and cake (or the highly recommended "Tiramiezu") are delicious, and there are also savory options like bowls, burgers, and sandwiches. The temple fries are also highly recommended. The four-legged residents are, of course, the highlight and the best employees 🐈 It puts you in a good mood just watching them. Perhaps this is also an encouragement for people who are hesitant to go to a café alone: ​​There's always something to do here and something to see☺️ All cats are rescued, and their upkeep is funded by the café's income. The cats can retreat from the dining area to a quiet room if needed.

This beautifully decorated restaurant is located in the heart of Bremen. It boasts a wonderful ambiance, excellent food, and beautifully cared animals. I highly recommend making an appointment there and enjoying the delicious food.

We made a reservation there because we're cat lovers. You're supposed to wait in the intermediate area at first until you're called in. There's a sign at eye level. You can't miss it. Still, it was a shame that some guests ignored it. The friendly interaction with the cats wasn't always evident. The waitress kindly pointed this out, which we appreciated. We got there quite late, so we were lucky, and when it quieted down, the cats and tomcats came out. That was very nice. The food was also very tasty, and you didn't miss the meat. The apple tart with vegan whipped cream was amazing and super delicious. We really enjoyed it.

The Katzentempel Restaurant, not far from Bremen Central Station, is truly fantastic! We received a very friendly welcome, the service was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. As for the dish, I have to say it was beautifully presented and a pure delight for the palate!

I've been here twice. I'm not really a fan of savory vegan dishes, but the food there was a pleasant surprise. For someone who follows a plant-based diet and loves animals like cats, this would be just the thing. (Okay, except for vegans, who have a completely different opinion on pet ownership 😄.)

Absolutely outrageous, especially if you order something for takeaway. The portions were extremely small; we weren't even remotely full. The taste was really good, but if the food's gone after three spoonfuls, it doesn't matter.

We had a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. The breakfast was delicious. And not all the cats were asleep at the same time. If we're ever in Bremen again, we'd love to come back.

We ordered there via Wolt and double-checked to make sure it was actually vegan because it tasted SO amazing!! You can taste the homemade bread, and the rest (we had the Cheezburger and the Catnip sandwich) was also incredibly good. I think it was by far the best vegan food I've ever had from a restaurant!! 🩷🩷🩷 We're definitely new regular customers!!! (Unfortunately, only from afar for now, due to our cat allergy, both of us 🥲)

Perfect for cat lovers ❤️ I'd been there twice with my husband, and the service was always very friendly, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the cats are beautiful. Unfortunately, about four weeks ago, we went to eat with friends and their daughter. The place was packed, so a young man greeted us at the door and gave us a table. We were next to a shelf where there were displays of products like coffee, t-shirts, etc. I picked up the coffee to look at it, and the young man saw it and walked over to me and took it out of my hands, arguing that it had to stay on the shelf. He had a lot to do, but he went straight to where I was to take the coffee pack out of my hand in a very rude manner because it was a display product (obviously I knew this; I only picked it up because I was curious and wanted to look; I don't think touching and looking at products is prohibited). The fact was that we sat for 40 minutes and weren't served until we decided to leave. We were simply ignored because people who arrived later were served immediately. We were very disappointed.

We had reserved a table the day before and were able to get it without having to wait. The food was truly fantastic and, especially for vegan dishes, very reasonably priced. We ordered the "Crispy No Chicken Burger" with temple fries, a "Ca(t)prese Sandwich," and the "Cat Temple Chickpea Curry." All of these dishes are definitely recommended! Not only is the presentation top-notch, but the taste is too. The cats come by from time to time, but they sleep a lot, especially in the afternoons. They have a place to retreat to where no visitors can go, which I think is important. At some point, they even offered treats to feed the cats, which encouraged them to come to the table. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. Although the place was busy, we often had to wait up to 30 minutes, even though we had spoken to the staff. This meant we were forced to reserve the table for an extended period. This was also the case for several tables around us, who had to ask several times if they could pay. Would we go again? Yes, definitely. The ambiance was nice, and you could just sit and relax and chat. A very nice, affordable, vegan restaurant.

Animals of any kind have no place in a restaurant, especially not those that jump on tables, etc. This has nothing to do with hygiene.

When we arrived, we simply walked in and were immediately told to wait in the "lock" until we were picked up because of the cats, who naturally take the opportunity to wander out the door. I hadn't thought about that at all. Many people just walked in. I think the employees repeat the same thing several times a day...maybe they should revise it a bit, like putting up a warning sign at the second door, etc. Otherwise, the service was attentive, came by frequently, and was super nice. He immediately pointed us to the cat etiquette and the summer specials. We had a pleasant time there; the cats came whenever they wanted, or you could watch them in the scratching post. The food was delicious; we had burgers, curries, "schnitzel," a bowl, and of course, dessert. The restrooms were very clean, and there was a small basket with utensils there. I thought that was really nice. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious and arrived at our table really quickly. Unfortunately, our service was rather mediocre... there's definitely room for improvement.

The food was excellent, especially the fries, which would have been perfectly adequate for children who didn't like the vegetarian schnitzel. After the unfriendly greeting ("Door closed because of cats!"), the service was fine. The cats walking on the walls were spectacular. Thankfully, there was no background music.

WHERE ARE THE CATS?!?!?! Unsuspecting, we were actually just hoping to have a nice day. The prices are simply too high, and you won't get enough to eat. Besides, the cats don't roam around there. They say they saw seven cats, but only two were sleeping. Wasted money!

We stopped by without a reservation and were immediately greeted warmly, even though we were informed that it might take a while. Two people ran the place alone: a woman in the kitchen, and a man who handled everything from entry and seating (you have to wait in the anteroom after the first door until you're admitted to prevent a cat from escaping) to taking orders, serving, clearing up, paying, and cleaning the table. He was quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful. Truly first-class! The food was super delicious, the balsamic orange dressing was unbelievably good, and the dessert (poppy-seed and lemon cheesecake with mango ice cream and a "Don't call it Snickers" dessert with sweet and salty peanut filling) was a dream. The cats came around every now and then, let us pet them, and then went back to their cozy corners. We experienced firsthand what some reviews complained about: that guests who didn't heed the request on the door sign to wait until invited in by staff were greeted with a "Stop!" BUT! It wasn't unfriendly at all, just quick and clear. Animals need to be protected here, and that can't be achieved with long explanations (which are already on the sign). By then, the cats would have been swept out long ago. There were four of us there, and we all found it completely fine, understandable, and professional. We absolutely recommend it: top-notch staff, top quality, and super-clean restrooms. And the fact that all the food and drinks are vegan was so great! I could simply indulge in the menu without having to worry about whether I could tolerate the items or not. It's a shame we live so far away; we would have loved to try more. Oh, and how anyone can complain about a vegan restaurant not serving meat is beyond me. Are you also looking for the cake counter in the steakhouse?

For cat lovers, the Cat Temple is a truly first-class place. Please always keep in mind that cats are independent creatures, and you may sometimes run the risk of them being more resting and less active (we experienced this differently once in Hamburg). The overall atmosphere in the restaurant seems very well-suited to the needs of the cats. I also think the amount of toys upstairs is very good. On this visit, it was truly amazing how active the cats were, and at times, extremely friendly. It was a truly wonderful moment when an employee suddenly came over rattling a treat container; suddenly, it seemed like all the cats were running towards them. The employee gave everyone who wanted a handful of treats, and then you could feed the cats. There is a well-structured menu and beverage selection, all of which are vegan. I wondered a few times why there are no animal products? On the other hand, the idea of eating a piece of meat next to the cats also seems strange. It's all good, let it be. The food, as well as the dessert and cake, are definitely delicious. It was a truly unforgettable evening. Will we personally come back? Probably not. We lost our beloved cat a while ago, and the sight of the BK cat in lilac brought tears to my son's eyes. It was truly lovely with you. Perhaps we can come again sometime. Otherwise, we will keep you as fondly in our memories as we did that evening. Thank you so much.

For cat lovers and vegans, I recommend this place. It's very spacious and well-furnished with supports and equipment that cats use to roam around. They're discreet and don't bother anyone. We went there as a family for an afternoon cake. The banana cake, cheesecake, and tiramisu are all delicious and highly recommended. The prices are a bit above average, but the experience is fantastic. The cats are very relaxed and occasionally wander around the café. They let our youngest pet them and simply create a lovely atmosphere. Generally, it's wonderfully quiet and peaceful here. The service, by the way, was absolutely friendly. I'll be back 😺

First of all: The food was okay and tasty. However, almost €50 for a burger, a sandwich, and two drinks is too expensive in our opinion. First of all, the waitress was pretty rude to us because we didn't understand the door policy right away. Perhaps a little more information for customers than just a note on the door? We were lectured like little children. And why were we addressed informally without asking? The rest of the service wasn't convincing either – arrogant and condescending. We also found the atmosphere in the restaurant unpleasant. Other guests were constantly running around our table with their phones in their hands, trying to take pictures of the cats. It was just annoying, and you couldn't eat in peace. It was as if these people had never seen a cat before! What bothered me about the menu is that almost every dish contains a vegan meat/cheese substitute. Why all these substitutes? Can't you just have a regular vegan vegetable dish? We didn't like it and we won't visit the cat temple again.

The Cat Temple in Bremen is a true paradise for cat lovers! The cats are a bit shy at first, but after a while, they become more trusting. I spent almost two hours there and I really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the 'Puss in Boots' and the Fritz Cola. It's definitely worth a visit.

The staff should learn to communicate tactfully with guests, as I found it very unpleasant to be reprimanded as soon as I entered the café. Information can always be conveyed in a more friendly manner. Otherwise, I really liked the idea of the cat café – the cats were running around, playing, and the coffee was good. We had a great time, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The door system could be improved, however – for example, there should be a bell at the first door, or more notices indicating that you have to wait until someone is available to open the door so that no cats escape.

The cats are friendly and very cute, staff was friendly and the building was cute for a coffee date. As for the food, 2 stars.. the chai latte I ordered tasted like water mix with chunky herbs, and the presentation was as if it was thrown in a water cup, from a shop I always expect the coffee to come with sleek, clean or creative look.. There’s not much finger foods besides ice cream and children’s meal.. all other foods are easily above €17 for any meals.. Overall experience: 4 stars, just need to work on the food/drinks that are served.

This was Google Maps 1st choice for vegan/veggie restaurants near Bremen HBF. I was not disappointed had a lovely veggie bowl, with an equally appetising desert. Reasonably priced, attentive staff, was served by a very attractive young lady waitress, she has cat paw tattoos😻, oh yes it's cat friendly! Will try and visit again.... HAPPY DAYS 💯

There is nothing worse than exploiting cats to make money. The cats here do not receive the necessary care. I saw one of the cats suffering from an eye infection, and I saw the neglect in cleaning the cat room and its toilets, in addition to providing bad food and one source of water for all the cats to drink from. These poor cats live at night in the dark and without care and are forced in the morning to entertain the customers, in addition to the poor service, the rudeness of some workers, and the high prices of meals.

This was my second time at the cat temple and this time the cats were much more active and you could pet some of them.

Would definitely not recommend. Waiters make you feel uncomfortable here. You get strictly watched at all times and any cat interactions when they are not walking is considered „disturbing their rest“ and immediately interrupted in a confronting way, even when they are awake. The waiters also talked badly about us among themselves, and they did it specifically so that we could hear it. Very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. Food is expensive but not bad.
