Unfortunately, service is not really attentive when it comes to taking an order. Aside from the lamps hanging too low, even the chairs were full of crumbs and stuff. Then they just left after waiting too long 🤷🤷‍♂️

The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. I had the Banana Bread Sandwich and really loved it. We stayed there longer and, especially when it wasn't quite so crowded and bustling, all 5 cats came out and let themselves be scratched. A different solution should only be considered for the cat lock at the entrance. Unfortunately, many people don't notice the sign on the second door.

I was there today for the first - and unfortunately almost certainly last - time. The main criticism for me is the prices, but preparation and portion size were also difficult for me today. You can argue about the ambience, cats and cat merch just don't appeal to me as much as they obviously do to others in the café. The 0.4 liter matcha latte costs €5.10 and came without love or saucer, so I had to put the spoon that was in the glass on the table. That's not a bad thing, but it was annoying (there were no napkins at the table, I also had to get salt myself and the cutlery came shortly after the burger). For dinner I ordered the lunch special Tempelburger and Fritz Limo for €12.90 (normal burger price is €15.50) and a side salad for €4.00. The salad was still partly sandy and mushy at the edges and the portion was a bit small. The burger tasted good (beyond patty), but unfortunately it was cold and, above all, TINY. The size bothered me especially because the burgers and side dishes at the next tables looked more lavish and didn't differ much in price according to the menu; Maybe they didn't have the lunch offer (which somehow isn't a real offer anymore). In summary: I especially appreciate that the menu is 100% plant-based, but there seems to be a lack of operational structure. The service was very friendly and personable and politely accepted the criticisms. The food was quite good except for the points mentioned, but the price-performance ratio doesn't seem to me to be good here. Good luck to the café, unfortunately it's not for me.

My daughter, who has been here several times, has always raved to me about the food and ambience. As part of a congress, I took advantage of the opportunity to visit the cat temple myself with my colleagues. The food was first class, the ambience was unique - also thanks to the Mauzis. If I end up here again, I'll definitely come back.

For everyone who plans to visit this restaurant: I tried to spontaneously get a table for 2 people on 3 different days and each time we were turned away with the statement that there was no more space and that it was too busy. But from outside you could see that half the restaurant was empty. Apparently a reservation is a must. One might think that the Cat Temple wants to be considered exclusive. Unfortunately I can't judge the rest. If you only want to eat vegan, you often have the option on the street...

I had breakfast here for under €20 and ordered 2 drinks. There are paid parking spaces nearby, but otherwise you can easily get there via public transport or on foot. You can easily reserve a table online. The menu and rules are also available online. In general, you shouldn't be too intrusive towards the cats. These come to the table on their own. I didn't see any cat hair on the tables. The food is prepared accordingly, as you would expect from good cafés. The breakfast plate was decorated with the print of a cat's paw. Please feel free to do more like this.

Very nice concept, it was the first time in a cat coffee shop. Well implemented and very comfortable 😁🐈🐈‍⬛ Unfortunately there is still some room for improvement when it comes to coffee, it tastes very bitter. Please adjust the fully automatic machine more finely and do not let it extract for so long. Then the coffee will be tastier too 😊😋👌🏽

The cats are super cute. Of course, cat hair is flying everywhere (you have to be aware of that). It would be a really cute café if the service wasn't so unfriendly and inattentive. We had to wait a long time and didn't feel looked after. The breakfast is very simple and almost carelessly prepared. The sandwich was delicious. The coffee is not recommended (coffee cup was only half full).

Unfortunately, our anticipation was bitterly disappointed. Despite the almost empty dining room, we were not allowed entry after 20 minutes of waiting. A visibly overwhelmed employee put us off again by saying she had to prepare the tables first. As I said, in an almost empty restaurant. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. It's a shame when a good concept is implemented so carelessly.

Went to Augsburg today to visit the cat temple. I can't understand some of the reviews. We liked it very much. Everything was very clean and attractive. We had reserved online and that was also requested. Ordering went very quickly. The eater was very tasty. The cats slept in different places. In terms of price, it is already at the upper limit. The three of us paid just over €100 with dessert. But I also know that vegan products are simply expensive. So it was OK for us. We'd love to come back when we're nearby.

A really nice cafe. Very friendly and personable service staff. The facility is really well done 🤩 nice to look at and a species-appropriate playground for the velvet paws. I don't think I've had such a relaxing meal anywhere as there. I was there with a friend and my son (10 months old). I was allowed to take the stroller in and was “warned” that it would then be occupied by the cats. It didn't bother me at all to have a few cat hairs on the car. Why? The food was terrific, delivered super quickly and really tasty. My son really liked it too. He was able to explore the store and carefully pet the cats. I would go there again at any time!

Monday 3 p.m., so there was very little going on and we had the 6 temple cats almost to ourselves... or they to ourselves... :-) Food was good and there was a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Anyone who loves cats and isn't afraid of vegan food will definitely feel at home here.

It's a shame, we had imagined it differently... After making an online reservation, we showed up at the restaurant on time. We then stood in the anteroom for about a quarter of an hour until we were let in. The reservation was only checked by asking us whether we had made a reservation. To our surprise, there were 5 tables available. We were taken to a table at the back of the restaurant and then left to sit here. Food was served around us and orders were taken at the next table, but without making eye contact with us. We waited patiently, partly to slow down, for half an hour without anyone noticing us, let alone taking an order, before leaving the restaurant again. A pity!

That was really an awesome experience! I was there for the first time today and they have a new chef. I think his name is Michael. Although he was really hard at work and did his work extremely well and conscientiously, he still had time to greet me and my friends in a very friendly way and to inform me in detail about everything that was important! He always has an open ear and helps with every question! Then to dinner! What he served us was incredibly good! He does it in such detail and with love, I've never experienced it before! Everything was exactly as it had to be. Everything is very fresh and crunchy and delicious. Never expected to get the best food I've ever eaten here! Thank you so much Michael!! We will come by more often!

Both times I visited were terrible experiences. The first time, I went to pick up my order, and the girls there were frankly impolite, but I could understand it was busy. However, the second time was even worse. When I arrived, the waitress yelled at me, insisting I close the door while I was in the process of doing so. She seemed incredibly bothered by my presence. I just got a drink to go, and the cup was only half full despite paying 5 euros for it. I have no intention of ever returning, and if I could, I would rate them zero.

Clear recommendation! Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, top service and excellent cuisine too! I'm a self-confessed carnivore and will stay that way, but I'm definitely looking forward to your next burger!! You can tell that high-quality ingredients are used, and your salad dressing (in this case raspberry) - unique! The lemonades are also highly recommended. Yes, okay, you pay a few euros more compared to other restaurants, but for such quality and considering that a few cats want to be catered for, it's absolutely justified! I definitely think it's nice that the cats can let off steam but also retreat. During our visit the shop was really buzzing at times, we were pleasantly surprised at how calm and relaxed the cats were able to deal with it. Keep it up, we look forward to the next visit :)

When you enter you have to wait until you are asked. That no cat can escape. It's nicely decorated and, if you're lucky, you'll have the company of a cat. And personally, I can't find anything wrong with vegan cuisine!

I am always amazed by Cat Temple. After Munich and Regensburg, I was now in the Augsburg temple. I can recommend the branch with a clear conscience. Service is friendly. Ambiance is appealing. The food was very good. We had main course plus dessert. For selection see below. If we're in Augsburg again, we'd love to come by again. And of course: The cats are really sweet and trusting. As long as you follow cat etiquette, you'll really have a great time here

The cat temple is always wonderful and we traveled almost 3 hours to spend time here 😊. However, it is incredibly stressful and extremely annoying for me as a customer when a family with two children is so incredibly loud and inconsiderate. I had a child with me and he didn't find it particularly pleasant either! It's a shame that the staff didn't even say anything, even though it's actually pointed out in the menu.

Great location, nice staff and although I like to eat meat, I really enjoyed the vegan food. The portions look smaller online than they are. Big compliments to the kitchen. Will definitely come back

We (my boyfriend and I) as non-vegans have already been here twice. All in all we really liked it. Food 4/5 stars: my friend hasn't had much luck so far, the vegan frothed milk tastes like pape (I've drunk vegan milk several times and it's really bad how it tastes); the Chilli sin Carne fries are made with a meat substitute, although there is nothing about it on the menu; I once ordered an iced chocolate and an iced coffee was brought to me (I don't take it too badly at the moment, it can happen sometimes, but for me as a non-coffee drinker it wasn't that great) Service 4/5: We sometimes had to wait a long time until our order was taken, even though there wasn't much going on. Sometimes there are no waitresses in a certain area of ​​the cafe, so you have to go find them yourself if you want to pay. Ambience 5/5: We both love cats and the cafe is very cute and decorated.

Centrally located, nice restaurant and breakfast bar where a few cats delight the guests. Danger!! The restaurant is entered through a lock area to secure the cats. You have to wait there until you are let in :)

Not only a paradise for cats, but also for all guests! Exceptionally beautiful, cozy atmosphere, the cats are an asset and a lot of fun. The fact that these kitties were all rescued from animal shelters and have now found good homes makes it even more valuable. In addition, the food is delicious, absolutely excellently prepared and the guests are pampered by very, very friendly, attentive and courteous service staff!!! Portions are plentiful and prices are reasonable. I will be happy to come back and can highly recommend the restaurant.

Right at the beginning of our stay we were blown away by the cute sight of the cats. The four-legged friends are not the most playful but are very cuddly. I was particularly fond of little Findus. We ate a sandwich and fries. The fries are highly recommended, very crispy and well seasoned. In my opinion, you pay a little more for the food and drinks but you get a special atmosphere (very good as an icebreaker on a date). Kind regards

Fries were good. Cats beautiful. Service very strict, brisk, decisive. In general, we don't know whether the service is being honest with us. Apparently it was full and we couldn't get a seat. During the last hour there were always 15 to 20 free places... We were allowed to stay for an espresso 🙃 Prices expensive, once and no more... 😀

Kein Katzenliebhaber wird es schaffen, an diesem Restaurant vorbeizugehen, ohne zumindest mehrere Minuten am Fenster stehen zu bleiben. Die Hauptattraktion sind natürlich die Katzen selbst und es macht Spaß, ihnen einfach zuzuschauen. Noch toller wird es, wenn man es tatsächlich schafft, eine Katze dazu zu bewegen, sich bei einem niederzulassen. Zu den Speisen sollte man auf jeden Fall beachten, das es nur vegetarische Gerichte gibt. Mein vegetarischer Tempelburger war sehr lecker und auch eine Abwechslung, zu den normalen Burgern, welche man überall bekommt. Preislich empfinde ich die Gerichte an der oberen Schmerzgrenze, aber noch okay. Für Katzenliebhaber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Für alle anderen ist der Besuch es eher nicht, aber das ergibt sich vermutlich bereits aus dem Konzept.

Ganz tolles Ambiente für Katzenfans. Die Katzen sind sehr zutraulich, geigen einem aber auch die Meinung, wenn sie nicht gestreichelt werden wollen. Toller Service. Auch für mich als nicht Veganer, leckeres Essen. Der Tee könnte mit einer Extra Schale für den Teebeutel serviert werden, aber das.ist auch schon das einzige Manko.

Wer hier essen will braucht Zeit! Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und die Katzen sind natürlich ein echter Hingucker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber leider etwas überfordert (hat alleine gearbeitet). Überall stand benutztes Geschirr und alleine die Bestellung aufzugeben hat lange gedauert. Insgesamt saß ich eine Stunde, bis dann meine Bowl kam. Die war zwar sehr lecker, die lange Wartezeit stört trotzdem. (Am Nebentisch wurde Salat serviert, das Besteck dazu kam erst 15 Minuten später.)

Das Personal super freundlich die Tiere werden super behandelt und sind voll niedlich Speis und trank sind schmackhaft und preiswert und abwechslungsreich. Ist auch gut erreichbar. Direkt an der Altstadt kurz um für jeden Katzenfreund und Altstadt Spaziergänger ein Muss.

Das Essen.... ganz im Ernst: galaktisch! Ich hätte im Leben nicht gedacht, dass vegan so unfassbar lecker sein kann. Das Hähnchen war nicht von echtem zu unterscheiden. Ich rate jedem, es zu probieren! Und zur Anwesenheit der Miezen muss ich glaube ich nichts sagen. Die miauen für sich selbst. ❤️

Ich fand es lecker, obwohl ich kein Veganer bin. Mein Chili con Fritten ließ keine Wünsche offen und der Service war klasse. Absolutes Highlight sind natürlich die Katzen, die sich frei durch das Lokal bewegen und auch gerne mal auf dem Schoß Platz nehmen. Natürlich haben die Fellnasen nichts auf dem Tisch verloren, worauf man immer hingewiesen wird. Aber sie sind nun mal die heimlichen Stars und "Chefs" im Katzentempel (siehe Bilder)

Zufällig auf der Durchreise entdeckt. Ein Muss für Katzenfans. Die Fellfreunde können sich dort frei bewegen und wenn sie Lust dazu haben, lassen sie sich streicheln.

Ich wurde als Nicht-Haustierfan (please don’t hate me) von Freunden mitgenommen. Der Service - wahnsinnig freundliche, trotz vollem Haus umsichtige Kellnerin - war top. Das Essen (Winter Delight Burger) sehr lecker, außergewöhnlich und frisch. Mir persönlich schmeckt ein Pflanzenpatty mehr als eine Fleischalternative. Aber die Kombinaton ist trotzdem unschlagbar. Das Dressing vom Salat war der Hammer! Auch für die Pommes gibt’s nur Lob! Im Katzentempel ist jede Altersschicht vertreten: Eltern oder Großeltern mit kleinen Kindern, aber auch Teenager, Einzelpersonen, größere Gruppen, oder, wie wir, Studierende. Ich bin ehrlich: ich brauche keine Katzen im Restaurant, aber das Ambiente und der tolle Service haben dennoch einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen. (zudem waren meine Freunde sehr happy) Auch das Konzept, dass die Katzen aus dem Tierschutz gerettet sind, kann ich unterstützen und ist lobend zu erwähnen. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass es aufgrund des Feiertags etwas dauern könne. Hielt sich aber völlig in Grenzen und meine Freunde waren begeistert mit Katzen streicheln beschäftigt. Meine einzigen Kritikpunkte: ich persönlich finde es nicht so toll, wenn das Servicepersonal Katzen streichelt und mir dann im Anschluss das Essen serviert. Außerdem (meckern auf hohem Niveau) kann ich nicht so ganz nachvollziehen, wie dann Reinigungsmittel auf der Toilette stehen, die weder vegan noch fair sind und zum Teil Mikroplastik enthalten. Bei diesem Preis sollte hier eine ökologischere Variante drin sein.

Schönes Ort. Nur Vege Speisen ... Ich hab leider nur 2 Katzen von 5 gesehen und beide haben geschlafen. Teuer, aber sehr gute heiße Schokolade mit Hafer Milch! 👍10/10 Cheeseburger schmeckt an sich gut nur das Käse ist ziemlich.. salzig? 8/10 Sehr nettes Service!!!

Kleiner, gemütliche Ort. Mit sehr leckerem Essen und fairen Preisen. Die Portion groß und ansprechend serviert. Die Katzen sind natürlich ein Highlight. Es wird viel Wert auf das Wohl der Tiere gelegt.

Wir waren neulich zum ersten Mal im Katzentempel. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und vor allem sauber und ordentlich. Trotz der 5 vorhandenen Katzen riecht es nicht unangenehm. Die Katzen sind allesamt sehr süß (insbesondere Findus) und lassen sich von den Gästen nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Man merkt, dass es ihnen hier gut zu gehen scheint. Leider war der Service nicht wirklich auf Zack. Bis zur Bestellung ist trotz der überschaubaren Größe relativ viel Zeit vergangen und auch die Rechnung wurde erstmal vergessen. Größtes Manko sind allerdings die Preise. Natürlich muss anders als in anderen Cafés und Restaurants auch noch die Versorgung des tierischen Personals mit einkalkuliert werden, aber 7,90 € bzw. 8,90 € für ein Stück Kuchen sind trotzdem einfach zu viel. Zumal die beiden Kuchen zwar durchaus schmackhaft, aber auch nichts herausragendes waren. Insgesamt verbleiben bei mir daher leider gemischte Gefühle. Für Menschen, die selbst keine Katzen halten können oder dürfen, lohnt sich der Besuch als Erlebnis sicherlich mal. Für einen Restaurant- bzw. Cafébesuch gibt es in Augsburg lohnendere Ziele.
