Good bye, I had lunch at Katık earlier and in Turkish this shop would be called "kazık", which means something like a rip-off or usury. In general, I would suggest a new slogan to the store: "Katık is Kazık". If you can throw money out the window, you should donate it to the homeless people in front of the store. Have a nice day

It was my first time at Katik. The taste was simply amazing. The employees, especially Güray, were very nice and conjured up something delicious for me. The journey there was definitely worth it.

The food was delicious and arrived very quickly - there's nothing to complain about! The only disadvantage is that the restaurant is quite small and therefore cannot accommodate many people. This can make it feel a bit cramped, especially when there is a lot going on. But overall a good experience!

Worst restaurant in the world. Meat rancid and not at all edible, purely fatty. Fries unsalted and without taste. Service is unacceptable and actually non-existent. You let people in and claim to be able to offer space even though it is completely overcrowded. You sometimes wait 30 minutes and end up having to share a table with someone. Long story short, that's not possible

Orders were mixed up... so the veggie option ended up in my bag, which was only noticed at home.

I was there today with my 8th grade class. The young people were warmly welcomed. With a lot of patience, even though the snack bar was full, our order was taken and we were even treated to a drink. That was great! The various Katik Dürüms are delicious: fresh, hot, juicy, with fine spices and delicious sauce. Must be recommended. I would also like to come back personally!

I visited Katik in Mannheim and was completely impressed! The ambience is inviting and stylish, the food and drink selection is great, and the quality is outstanding. I would particularly like to highlight the service - Salih really sweetened our evening with his friendly and attentive manner. He was always helpful, gave us great recommendations and always made sure we felt comfortable. A true professional who does his work with passion! I would like to take you on a short journey. It was the year 1995 in a small, insignificant fishing village in the Allgäu when I saw the light of day. Back then, I had no idea what a culinary masterpiece would await me years later. No matter where, I couldn't even hold my head up on my own. But we digress. I always lived by myself, eating limp kebabs from the “Tunay” next door and my life was sad and colorless. I traveled a lot looking for the meaning of life, but all I found was the sandwich kebab from Bregenz, which made absolutely no sense. One day, it was a warm summer day, I woke up and asked myself: was that it? And I made my way to Mannheim to investigate the question and that's when I saw him. The Katik store. Crying with excitement, I entered the store and made the order of my life. A Katik like it was in the book. Sandra from HR would never believe me. After the first bite, it was over for me. I knew I belonged here. I celebrate this day every year. And on special days I like to go the extra mile to give myself the edge again in terms of taste. I was asked to leave a review but I poured my heart out. Fries were OK.

So the staff is friendly. But this dürum yufka or whatever it is supposed to be is pretty disgusting. The whole thing is very clumsy. The dough is really absorbed by the fat and is not crispy at all, just a limp something. So it's tasteless and not good and for the price of €9 it's just too much. I bit into it twice and then threw it away. Sorry.

I am absolutely appalled by the service at this restaurant! After placing my order, I had to wait forever while the regular customers around me received prompt and friendly service. It's clear that new guests are not a priority here! I waited and watched as other customers who came after me got theirs Received large orders quickly and chatted extensively with the staff. I only asked after 40 minutes and was told my order had been ready for a few minutes. It is absolutely unacceptable that you, as a walk-in customer, are treated like this. In the end, the food was good, but if you are not valued as a customer, then I will certainly not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone who expects good service. There are plenty of other decent Turkish restaurants on the market square with good service. Shame on you!

I cried full of joy. I've never eaten anything tasty. I love it here. I drove from Hanover to Heidelberg to visit friends and this holy kebab shop was a huge reason for that. It's worth every cent! I wish I could live in Mannheim.

While passing through Mannheim, I looked for a restaurant near the train station. Thanks to the good reviews, we chose KATIK and were not disappointed: delicious food in a modern and friendly atmosphere. Gladly again.

I've seen a lot of hair here that I personally don't find beautiful. The Rheinau park swimming pool has a swimmers' pool with a 3 m diving tower, a non-swimmers' pool with a small slide and a paddling pool. And you really have to wait here until you can just jump in, just stupid 😁

The food really tasted good, but I have to say that it was reasonably priced, the portions were really small for the hefty price. Ambiance, well, the tables outside were overlooked with leftover food and sauces from the previous person. You have to be careful not to get dirty when you sit down. The order also took longer, even though there wasn't much going on that day.

The three of us made a special trip to Mannheim and would do it again! The journey is worth it and the food is amazing!

I was there today with my girlfriend and it was really tasty. I took the Chicken Katik and it was really juicy and delicious. I paid €8.50 and considering it was so tasty, I think the price is okay. We ate there. The food came within 10 minutes.

Went there because of the amazing reviews. I ordered a Falafel Katik. But I have to honestly say that I have tasted the falafel rolls better in all the kebab shops so far. The smell was delicious, but the Falafel Katik was just way too dry, a boring mush soaked in greasy sauce. There was hardly any salad in it, just a few vegetables (mainly cooked peppers?), sauce mainly in the direction of mayonaise and then, to top it all off, there were fries in it, which made the katik even drier than it already was. It felt like the only alternative to dryness was a greasy sauce mix. On top of that, the whole thing was quite expensive. 18.40 euros for two not tasty katik rolls and a cup of ayran. I'll be looking for a free kebab shop again soon. It's significantly cheaper and tastes better.

I drove there for 3 hours and it was totally worth it, it tasted really good and I would go there again. I was already thinking about whether I should buy another one to take with me... it was that delicious. The employees are very friendly.
