Kartoffelkiste in Teltow

The restaurant “Kartoffelkiste” is located at Lichterfelder Allee 91, 14513 Teltow. In this respect, this is a good German company. That has various potato variations for every taste. I recently drank good beers here and ate a potato pancake with salmon. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful, socially competent and very valuable. Highly recommended! Very positive experience. Was there for the first time today and made a reservation straight away for my birthday. A super positive atmosphere and very friendly, natural service. The food is German and, as the name suggests, very potato-based. Ambiance is very rustic and appealing. However, it could have been warmer, but that could also be due to the fact that it had only been open for 30 minutes when we got there. In summary, it was very pleasant there and a welcome change from the "standard restaurant" you'll find anywhere else.

There were four of us there. Booking a table in advance made sense. It was very well attended. Large portions at reasonable prices. Food was very tasty and special requests were fulfilled without any problems.

Simple perfect delicious German cuisine. It doesn't happen that often anymore. Very nice service and every extra request is always fulfilled.

Very good food, friendly service and an extensive menu. The only drawback - at least when I was there, vegan was not stated on the menu. But they try to make everything possible, be it leaving out mushrooms from the sauce or some other combination, whatever works is done. All in all, a very good restaurant with an excellent price-performance ratio.

All the dishes at the table looked appealing, were rich and correspondingly tasty. Price/performance is reasonable, staff is very friendly. What more could you want? Full marks, gladly again.

Die sehr freundliche Bedienung konnte leider nichts für das unglaublich schlechte Essen. Die Backkartoffel mit Hähnchen in Sahnesoße und Salat wurde in einer Bowl serviert. Die Soße war weiß, klebrig und ungewürzt und umschloss vier kleine Hahnchenstreifen. Vermischte sich mit dem Salatdressing, was allerdings geschmacklich nicht half. Zur Krönung war die Backkartoffel so geschickt drappiert, dass man die große schwarze Stelle (überlagert?) nicht sofort sah. Sehr selten so schlecht gegessen und das für einen nicht gerade günstigen Preis. Zudem war es sehr kalt im Restaurant, aber wir wollten eh so schnell wie möglich weg.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern. Hier stimmt das ganze Konzept. Das Personal kann sich superschnell auch auf besondere Gegebenheiten einstellen. Alle sind immer guter Dinge und die deutsche Küche ist due beste in der Region. Weiter so!!!

Love their idea on incorporating potatoes in every dish. French fries, mashed, baked, diced. Every which way they cook them, it’s great. Schnitzels are awesome as is the sauerkraut. Great authentic German cuisine indeed!

We celebrated a birthday here yesterday and there were 14 people. The restaurant was also busy and we waited about 45 minutes for our order, which is okay in my opinion. I really enjoyed the meal (liver cheese with fried egg and fried potato) and the rest of us were also very happy with the meal. The Kaiserschmarren for €11.90 was okay but didn't quite convince me. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and quick. So if you're in the mood for hearty cuisine again, you've come to the right place.

Das Restaurant war gut besucht und ziemlich voll. Wir haben aber Ferien und genügend Zeit zum warten. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und die Bedienung (sieht übrigens aus wie Ross Anthony ) war super freundlich und hat all unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ate here yesterday, baked potato with pork steaks and farmer's breakfast (or shouldn't that be renamed "Potential morning farm worker's snack" to be on the safe side...?😄 ) In any case, farmer's breakfast was good, don't know if it's possible and of any use: cut pork steaks thinner or cook them longer , so that the steaks are a little more tender..... Still happy again!

To be honest, it's been better before... My mother likes to go there. Went there again with her recently, otherwise it was always good!! This time, certainly in keeping with the circumstances, the prices felt raised. I completely understand that, the person behind the stove or behind the tap also has to earn money BUT If it's more expensive, then please make sure that the quality doesn't decrease. The pre-breaded schnitzel (you noticed, mise en place, all well and good) The amount of fries is less... Hmm, they don't cost the world... These are little things that can make a difference...

Four of us ate there today with different dishes. The potato pancakes may be homemade, but they are frozen after preparation and then cooked in hot fat without thawing. The result is that they are already black from the outside and the buffers are still cold. The answer to the complaint was also rather “snippy” Smoked salmon was already gray at the corners due to incorrect storage. Scrambled eggs were from the fridge and were only warmed up briefly. Consistency inedible like rubber. Pork steaks were tough and difficult to chew and cut. Really not acceptable for the price of just under €18 - but the complaint was taken back without batting an eyelid. There’s a star for that I would like to constructively point out that the kitchen simply needs training and that as a restaurateur you either have to adjust the price range to the quality or adjust the prices according to the inferior quality. Just under €18 for food, which is tough, just isn't possible. ;-)

Wir waren vergangene Woche hier essen - leider kommen wir nicht aus der Nähe, um mal wieder vorbei zu schauen. Sonst wären wir sicherlich bald wieder in der Kartoffelkiste - die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas, ohne überladen zu wirken, das Essen war nicht nur gut, es war gute alte Hausmannskost- Lob an die Küche an dieser Stelle. Meine Freundin hatte eine andere Sauce gewünscht, darauf wurde ebenfalls eingegangen. Preis-Leistung stimmt! Weiter so ! :-) Sollte es uns doch mal wieder in die Ecke verschlagen, fahren wir auch gerne einen Umweg für einen zweiten Besuch.

Ich war enttäuscht.... Ich hatte gutes deutsches Essen erwartet es gab aber nur den üblichen convenien- Fraß...

Wenn man was essen will, kann man dort was essen. Natürlich wird nichts, nahezu nichts, dort in einem anspruchsvollen Sinne zubereitet, aber irgendwie ist es ja schon anheimelnd, bei Menschen zu essen, die genau das gleiche auf die gleiche Weise machen, wie man es zuhause selbst macht. Man ist in gewisser Weise bei sich selbst zu Gast. Nach dem Essen wird man brandenburgtypisch urigerweise darüber informiert, das „die uns ja das Bargeld wegnehmen wollen.“ Dass „die das abschaffen wollen, damit sie uns arm, ja pleite halten können“. Dass „die die Kontrolle über uns behalten wollen“. Und so weiter. Spätestens dann ist man bei der schlechtesten, schlimmsten Version von sich selbst zu Gast und will: nie mehr hin!

Rustikal gemütlich ist es hier! Die Speisen sehr lecker und hübsch angerichtet. Nur beim Sanddorngrog gaben wir den Sanddorn vermisst und daher einen Glühwein genießen müssen. Sonst alles OK

Wer Kartoffeln mag , ist hier gold richtig

Leider sind die Röstinchen TK Ware, finde in einem Kartoffelhaus sollten Kartoffelgerichte selbst gemacht sein.

Räume waren kühl und das Ambiente eher ungemütlich. Dazu lief RTL Radio. Geht gar nicht. Hat was von Provinzgasthof. Die Karte mit den Kartoffelgerichten ist zwar variantenreich. Das Rumpsteak war aber kalt und „medium rare“ wurde als englisch verstanden, es war roh. Die Bratkartoffeln waren aber gut. Preise sind hoch. Zum Steakessen werde ich nicht mehr hingehen.

Sehr hilfsbereit. Mein Akku vom Ebike musste geladen werden. Das war kein Problem. Doch mein Ebike bootete nicht hoch. Wir haben dann das Rad in die Gasstube kurz stellen müssen. Sehr sehr nett. Schnelle Bedienung und schmackhaftes Essen.

Sehr lecker Bratkartoffeln mit Steak gegessen und das als Vegetarier bzw. Flexetarier. Grosszügige Portion , nette Bewirtung und Wartezeit war angemessen. Immer wieder gerne.

Leider nicht so gut. Fast 1 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet und dann noch das verkehrte. Geschmacklich naja.

Es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt und wurde frisch zubereitet. Dafür nehme ich gern eine etwas längere Wartezeit in Kauf. Ich hätte mir lediglich gewünscht, dass unsere Getränke vor dem Essen kommen und damit nicht gewartet wird, bis serviert wird. Das ist unterm Strich kaum der Rede wert. Wir werden hier wieder essen und das sehr gute Essen genießen.
