I love being here or ordering home. I recommend the meat skewers, the falafel and most of all the hallumi. I'm addicted to the hallumi here. The burgers are also delicious and even the fries are still very crispy when you order them home.

Good food but really very expensive for small portions

In my opinion, one of the best fast food restaurants on Karli. To put things in perspective, I go to Karli 61 very regularly thanks to a tip from a friend. The old room also had its charm, but was much too small and so Karli61 moved without giving up the name. Everything I've eaten here so far has always been super tasty and very quick. The owner is super friendly and works with such passion. Enjoy it <3

A local pub! Every year you stumble across a restaurant where you can tell that the owner has a passion for food. Karlie61 is one of those. Very good snack for meat, vegan and vegetarian. Soups, salads, plates and dürüm. Large portions with a variety of side dishes in the very good meat plates, a good selection of meat from skewers to sausages, liver and tongue, everything very well seasoned. Two vegan wraps, grilled vegetables and falafel, delicious sauces. Halloumi for the vegetarians. Good and big fries, Lebanese lentil soup. Seating options outside on the street or inside. It also fits 10 people as a group if you move the tables around. Not too loud there, everything was very friendly. You like to be served and fed, I remember the shop as soul food.

I think 17.50 euros for a kofta plate with rice and some salad is too expensive even in 2024. The taste was okay, it was quick despite the crowds.

The food here tastes fantastic and is always incredibly beautifully prepared. I can highly recommend the skewers. Both chicken and lamb or beef and of course the vegetarian options like falafel and halloumi. Everything tastes very good. Also very friendly staff.

Spontaneous dinner at Karli 61. There's always something going on, the menu is super balanced and there's something to suit every taste. The food is freshly prepared and the service was super friendly and gave great advice. It was a lot of fun eating at Karli 61 and we will definitely be back soon. I can only recommend the food and the advice on food is uniquely very good!

I was a guest there on Friday with my girlfriend. Very tasty food and good portions that are attractively presented. I had the vegan plate. The falafel were the best I've eaten out so far - big compliment. And also the hummus and the rest of the sauces - great. In terms of atmosphere, it is more similar to a snack bar with seating, so you should take that into account.

We were here for the first time yesterday and based on the previous reviews we thought we'd give it a try. Our order was received extremely nicely. So overall very good...food was really tasty. Next time we'll try it further...

Das Karli61 ist unser absolutes Lieblingslokal in Leipzig. Das Essen begeistert mit Frische und köstlichem Geschmack. Der Inhaber hat alles im Griff, legt großen Wert auf Sauberkeit und empfängt jeden Gast mit herzlicher Liebe. Jedes Gericht wird mit Hingabe und ganz frisch zubereitet, und er strebt ständig danach, die Qualität zu optimieren. Egal, ob es um den neuen Hummus, den Reis oder die scharfe Soße geht - jede Kreation schmeckt konstant hervorragend. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist der frisch gegrillte Hähnchenspieß mit Reis, Salat und mehr. Leipzig-Tipp: Karli61.

Wir haben uns den Halloumi-Falafel-Teller bestellt und abgeholt. Schnelle Zubereitung, super lecker und die Idee mit dem Cranberrys als Topping war super! Gern wieder.

Hab nen shawarma gegessen, hat auch recht gut geschmeckt (sehr Knoblauch lastig). Allerdings lange gewartet dafür das nix los war und für 7€ ist das Ding einfach viel zu klein! Und 5€ für ne Pommes auch recht happig….

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal. Geht dort hin und Esst was und danach könnt ihr das Essen mit einem schönen Bier oder Whisky im Pie Maker runterspülen.

Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und ich komme hier super gerne hin, wenn ich mal unterwegs in Leipzig bin. Die Portionen sind allerdings etwas klein (jedenfalls das Schawarma) und dann doch recht "teuer". 5 Euro für Pommes würde ich persönlich z. B. nicht zahlen wollen. Aber ansonsten ist der Laden tiptop :)

Lecker gegessen. Portion ist für den Preis groß genug (einen Teller probiert), es gibt auch Bier/Soft Drinks/Ayran. Die Lage auf zentral, der Ort gemütlich, draußen kann man ruhig und entspannt sitzen obwohl das direkt auf der Karli liegt. Gerne Mal wieder.

De falafel was prima en de bediening ook. Ook de overige gerechten op de menukaart doen de portemonnee geen pijn.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Ob ein schnelles Sandwich für zwischendurch oder eine ausgiebige Mahlzeit mit einem der gemischten Teller. Karli61 enttäuscht nie! Chef hinter dem Tresen immer sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Zubereitung auch immer sehr schnell und vor allem frisch! Die Hähnchen Sandwiches sind beide der Hammer! Einzige kleine Kritikpunkte, die Sandwiches könnten ein wenig größer sein (schmecken aber auch einfach zu gut, die könnten wohl nie groß genug sein) Und die Sitzplätze vor Ort sind leider begrenzt und klein, vielleicht gibt es da ja im nächsten Jahr ein Upgrade :) Ansonsten weiter so und bis zum nächsten Mal Liebe Grüße an Chef und das Team!

Beste Sandwich- und Tellergerichte in ganz Leipzig. Könnte jeden Tag hier essen gehen.

Sehr freundlicher Mensch hinter der Theke, gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Falafel und Halloumi fand ich eher Standard, aber immer noch gut. Das Hähnchen Fleisch ist extrem köstlich mariniert und immer auf den Punkt gegart. Alle Soßen sehr aromatisch und gut, wobei die Knoblauchsoße schon sehr stark knoblauchig ist. Ich liebe vor allem Sesam und die scharfe Soße, die hat angenehm Bums, ohne zu scharf zu werden. Auch das Mengenverhältnis von vielfältigen Beilagen (Salat, eingelegtes, sogar die ein oder andere vereinzelte Pommes) in den Sandwiches finde ich sehr gut getroffen. Andere Imbiss-Buden strecken da ja gern mal mit 50 Prozent Eisbergsalat. Oder sie ertränken alles in Soße und ab der zweiten Hälfte läuft einem der Matsch durch die Finger. Hier ist das anders. Ich komm mittlerweile mindestens ein Mal die Woche her, weil ich es so gut finde.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Ein längerer Review folgt beim nächsten Besuch, auf welchen ich mich sehr äußerst freue.

Food is very good, it's a self service place where you place the order,.pay and.get a buzzer that goes off when food is ready. We got a shish tawouk dinner - two skewers of marinated chicken grilled on charcoal, served with humus and aioli on a bed of rice. Delicious

Leckere orientalische Gerichte zu einem fairen Preis. Das Personal ist freundlich. Da die Gerichte frisch zubereitet werden, muss ein wenig Wartezeit eingeplant werden.
