Delicious food, fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere.

The ambiance is a bit cold and the table arrangement illogical. Even though it was empty, we were given a table in the middle of the room, near the doorway to the restroom and the rest of the restaurant. All the tables were reserved, and the reservation at our table was removed by the server. The service was rather slow, and we had to wait a while for our drinks. The food tasted good, but it was very lamb-heavy. The food usually comes from a clay oven and is incredibly hot; there's a real risk of getting badly burned. At the next table, two couples with a discount voucher were visiting the restaurant for the first time and were offered a shot of schnapps before they paid. We were also looking forward to a raki, but we weren't offered one. It's a shame; perhaps we should have used the voucher after all. All in all, three stars, but that doesn't make us want to go back. All guests should be treated equally.

Friendly and good service in a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes from the clay oven are roasted and served in clay plates. The taste is top-notch and highly recommended.

If you enjoy expertly prepared meat dishes, this is the place for you. Served piping hot straight from the wood-fired oven, the service is friendly and prompt.

We were there for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. Highly recommended. We had a pizza with chicken fillet and a cheeseburger with fries and were completely satisfied. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Except that the fries could have been a little crispier on the outside.

After a visit, you'll want to come back. The service is simply excellent. Extremely friendly, you're immediately greeted with a smile and given advice about the food. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste amazing. I'd be happy to come back again!

Delicious food, a wide selection, and very friendly service! I went there for the second time with friends, and we were all just as impressed as the first time. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, everyone will find something to eat there. We were lucky enough to be there this time around for the restaurant's anniversary. Every guest received a free large pilsner or a shandy. For dessert, a free dessert was served. 9

My wife reserved a table for 7 people for her birthday on August 16, 2025, on May 24, 2025, which was also confirmed by email! Today, August 13, 2025, the cancellation came; they had no more tables available. Now I'm wondering, has greed for a larger group won out again, or is it simply a lack of planning? It's great that we have planning security with you! I can only warn every party/group about you. As proof of your impudence, I've posted a picture of the reservation confirmation and the cancellation.

My first visit to the restaurant – but definitely not the last! The atmosphere, the friendly service, and the delicious food were simply fantastic. You can feel the freshness and care in every dish. I was particularly impressed by the attentive presentation and the prompt service. I absolutely recommend it – there are no nasty surprises here, just pure enjoyment!

Today we went to Kamin, a restaurant serving Anatolian specialties. My husband opted for a beef burger with fries, and I chose the penne with mushrooms – both were excellently prepared and tasted simply fantastic. If I'd had a little more room in my stomach, I would have indulged in a second portion without hesitation! We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful summer weather. Despite the heat, the atmosphere was relaxed and very pleasant. We would especially like to mention the attentive, always friendly staff, who made our visit absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend the Kamin Restaurant. A real insider tip – top!

We had hummus for starters, and I had chicken with a mushroom cream sauce. I could have eaten it all myself; it was absolutely delicious, and the bread was nice and fresh and warm. My boyfriend had the fireplace plate, and the meat was very good, especially the lamb!

Hello, The three of us were there on Saturday lunchtime. The food tasted good and was enough! The flatbread that was served later was great. Just something different, the menu is extremely varied so everyone can find something. Price is justified for me.

Like being with friends, and really good food

We had reserved a table for two people in advance. When we arrived we were given a mini table that sat in the middle of the room. The waitresses and guests had to push past on the right and left. The request for another table was denied several times; everything was reserved for 4 people. We both ordered the lamb fillet, according to the menu with salad, bulgur and homemade bread. The two salads arrived very quickly, along with a small bowl of warm bulgur (you can see it in the picture at the back. This bowl was for both of us). I found this a bit strange. Why is warm bulgur added to the salad? The clay plate with the lamb came quite quickly after the salad. Without any further supplement. When I asked if we didn't get any bread, I was told: "Didn't they get any with the salad?" When I said no, after at least 5 minutes we received our bread, somewhat reluctantly. We paid €29.90 for a portion of lamb fillet. A very steep price. The lamb was also very tasty, but I found the mini bowl of bulgur for 2 portions (plus the salad) to be far too little for this price. Unfortunately, the late bread didn't rip out either. My partner went home hungry. On the subsequent visit to the Christmas market he ate a bratwurst. In summary: food good but expensive and not enough. We found the atmosphere uncomfortable because we had the worst table ever. The waitresses could have been a little friendlier.

We had a delicious meal here and were served nicely. The clay pots come out of the oven steaming hot on the table. My vegetable stew with lamb came with bulgur, bread, sauce and salad on the side. Everything tasted very good and was plentiful. We'll definitely come back.

The food was amazing, very tasty and my fillet platter was juicy. Beforehand, we had a starter plate with several salads and our delicious creams with pizza bread, everything fried in the large clay oven and then brought to the table hot and sizzling on special plates. Plus a delicious salad with extra sauce and bulgur rice for the main course. The prices and portions are reasonable. There was only a slight deduction from the ambience because the benches on the walls look very worn and are in need of renovation or new covers. Otherwise we had a lovely evening with the family. Highly recommended and something different.

We had dinner at the fireplace for the first time today. The food was really tasty and recommended. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. (You could say they were “trying hard!”) Since we first ordered chili shrimp as a starter and 2 main courses, we were served a portion of bread and bulgur as you can see in the picture. We then ordered tzatziki and there was no question as to whether we needed anything else. (I only saw when I got home that this was also an appetizer that should have been served with bread.) We were also no longer asked whether we wanted to order something to drink and we were not given any other attention. So we decided to pay and leave. Since you can only find good reviews of the service here and everyone has a “bad day” from time to time, we hope that today was an exception and not the rule.

A great meal, fresh and authentic, clean restaurant, great oven, super nice and fast service, not cheap - but not expensive and it's justified. We were extremely satisfied and will definitely come back - just eat something good and "different" and let yourself be pampered. The service is extremely friendly and nice, fast and knows what she is doing and selling. The food is exceptionally good and super tasty. Anatolian breakfast... absolutely recommended. Reservation is essential, otherwise there will be no more space.

Exceptionally delicious food! We love love love it. A really well-kept, elegant and tasteful atmosphere. The waitresses are very attentive, polite and friendly. We have been there 4 times so far and always enjoy taking this route!

It was a lovely evening with really delicious food from the oven. Unfortunately, an auptgerichtdalat was forgotten and somehow no one came to our table when we complained... it was made up for with the bill and we were all full, the handling of it was really okay. Thumbs up.

I am very disappointed. I ordered meat stew. You warmed up the bread from the day before or something. After it got cold it was rock hard and the meat stew was not a stew. I think you just warmed up large fried vegetables with meat. We had eaten it there once and it looked completely different. Not even the vegetables were made smaller. It's a shame that you put so little effort into orders that aren't in the restaurant. Because when I eat there, everything has been fine so far.

It was our first time here, what can I say it was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The condition was friendly. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

We were there for lunch today, it was very quiet, probably because of the holiday season. We were served nicely and were able to enjoy a delicious meal sitting outside. We would be happy to come back.

Discovered it in the Schlemmerblock. Very friendly service. Good dishes from the clay oven. Fresh ingredients also on the pizza. Meat dishes are served hot in an earthenware bowl. Plus bulgur and fresh traditional bread, which can be added if necessary. We liked it and enjoyed it. Will be saved in our favorites :-)

The food and service were very good. The restaurant inside is very nice. Only the outside area is located on the main street. Directly at a gas station. But it's still worth eating there because the quality is right.

All I can say is it was super tasty. The salad was great and the warm bread with the yoghurt sauce and the warm bulgur is just really good. We had the fireplace plate and the Karsali Köfte from the clay oven. A revelation. To be honest, I don't even know if it was typical Turkish food, but it tasted so delicious that it wasn't the last time we were there. Congratulations to the team, all in all they did extremely well

The restaurant is beautifully designed inside and we are also familiar with Anatolian food. Serving the food in hot cast iron pans straight from the oven is a nice idea, but in our case the fat splattered too much on the table and clothes! So you should let it cool down a bit before bringing it to the table. Over time we would have preferred a separate plate, but this time we didn't ask for one. The minced meat balls were delicious, but unfortunately the lamb and vegetable pot had little lamb in it and it was very small, dry pieces. We couldn't find the minced meat skewer from the video on the menu. 1-2 other side dishes (rice, couscous, fried vegetables…) to choose from would be good.

Minced lamb skewer completely over-seasoned and extremely salty. I can only describe salad dressing as strange. Lamb fillet more than done and very little for the price. The food overall is not recommended and expensive for what you get. Our feedback doesn't really interest us in terms of operation. The table was still dirty when the previous guest sat down. Hasn't been wiped down. Restaurant located on two thoroughfares and therefore not a nice atmosphere. It will remain a one-time visit. The current overall rating of 4.6 stars is in no way even remotely confirmed.

I'm totally overwhelmed and happy, we knew that it was a secret tip in the middle of Biblis and that it was supposed to be very good, but the fact that it was so incredibly GOOD is really amazing and a really really great secret tip. We went to the “Kamin” restaurant based on a recommendation. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough, so I had the rest packed up. Nice atmosphere and great and attentive service! I can't agree with the statements about it being expensive! We would like to come again! ❤️

The food tastes excellent and the service was very friendly. The prices are pretty steep and you can hardly go for less than €30 per person, but there is also very good food of very good quality. Unfortunately, you have to order the side dish separately for the already expensive meal and therefore only pay four stars

Pretty and cleanly run restaurant. Food is prepared in the traditionally built clay oven, so everything always arrives hot at the table. Something different than just pizza & kebab!!! The food was really delicious and plentiful. Tastefully seasoned well. Turkish bread and yogurt sauce very fine. At the end there was a greeting from the kitchen. Sweet dessert also from the oven. This was also very tasty. Service is attentive.

Das Ambiente war schön, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, leider hat mir das Essen dort nicht geschmeckt, der Salat viel zu süß, die Pommes viel zu salzig, das Fleisch viel zu trocken und fade, es gab auch ein Missverständnis ,der Kollege hat was ganz anderes bekommen als er bestellt hat , anstatt das Essen zurück zu nehmen wurde kurz diskutiert , "das war schon unangenehm" Dan hat der Kollege es halt gegessen , ich hab leider mein Essen komplett zurück gehen lassen und bin hungrig heim gefahren, schade eigentlich.

Das Essen war einfach nur Spitze.Angefangen mit dem Salat,ein geniales Dressing und reichhaltig. Der Zaziki 😋Das Hauptgericht Lende, war köstlich und viel. Absolute Empfehlenswert. Da zahle ich auch gen etwas mehr wenn es so gut ist. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Fleisch perfekt zubereitet und die Qualität des Lahmfleisches ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Der Service ist super freundlich und lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen. Dafür zahle ich sehr gerne etwas mehr, lohnt sich allemal. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Einfach super! Das Essen ist fantastisch und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Portionen haben eine super Grösse und man wird ordentlich satt. Die Bedienung war extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und in den richtigen Momenten zur Stelle. Absolut zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank für den Abend!

Der Schlemmer Block hat uns her geführt und wir haben es nicht bereut. Bei Sonnenschein konnten wir draußen sitzen im Outdoor Bereich unter Sonnenschirmen und auf massiven Gartenstühlen mit dicken Auflagen (recht bequem). Die junge weibliche Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns Recht flott bedient. Es gibt eine reichlich gefüllte Mittags Karte (siehe Bild) auf der wir auch etwas gefunden haben. Für die entsprechenden Portion ein sehr fairer Mittagstisch Preis (Gerichte zw. 8,40 und 11,90 €). Daneben haben wir uns noch gemeinsam ein Vorspeisen Teller gegönnt. Auch dieser sowie der gewählte Mittagstisch hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir empfehlen den Kamin gerne weiter (4,6 Sterne).

Alles wirklich richtig gut . Ja , die Preise sind hoch , aber es hat sich dennoch gelohnt !!!! Es war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal . Danke an die Küche und den freundlichen Service .

Wir haben reserviert und waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern dort. Es gab Live Musik (Black Rose, ist echt empfehlenswert ) und der Laden war mit ca 25 Gästen (inkl. uns) nicht mal ansatzweise voll ausgelastet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber trotzdem mit den Bestellungen überlastet. Unser Sohn hat sage und schreibe 1 Stunde auf seine Portion Pommes gewartet und erst nach zweiter Nachfrage wurden diese an den Tisch gebracht. Gäste die nach uns kamen hatten ihr Essen eher als wir. Über eine Stunde finde ich schon etwas grenzwertig als Wartezeit, bedenkt man die Anzahl der Gäste. Nun zum Essen.. Es waren keine großen Portionen und auf jeden Fall kaum gewürzt. Meinem Sitznachbar und mir wurde die "Fleischplatte" frisch aus dem Kamin auf den Tisch gestellt. Das Fett in der Auflaufform spritze auf das komplette Umfeld und auf Hose und Hemd. Sehr unangenehm. Auf der Karte war nicht vermerkt, dass es zu dieser "Platte" keine Beilagen gab, war da doch dieser hohe Preis angegeben. Alles in allem hat es dort niemanden geschmeckt von uns und aufgrund dessen werden wir dieses Etablissement nicht noch einmal aufsuchen.

Ein großartiges Restaurant mit einem spitzen Team. Ich hatte 30 Personen angemeldet. Wir waren 65. Das Team vom Kamin Restaurant hat grandios gearbeitet. Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es hat gut geschmeckt, die Portionen reichlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Über Schlemmerblock auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Sehr leckeres Essen und toller Service. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Hatten das Rinderfilet und Lammfilet, was beides sehr zart und gut gewürzt war. Mit Bulgur als Beilage mal etwas anderes als in anderen typischen Grillrestaurants. Sehr empfehlenswert! :)

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, das Restaurant Kamin zu besuchen, und ich bin restlos begeistert. Von Anfang bis Ende war mein kulinarisches Erlebnis einfach außergewöhnlich. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist charmant und einladend, mit einer gelungenen Mischung aus modernem Design und gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Der Service war exzellent – das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Doch das wahre Highlight war zweifellos das Essen. Jedes Gericht, das auf den Tisch kam, war ein Kunstwerk für die Sinne. Die Qualität der Zutaten war spürbar und die Kreativität, mit der die Gerichte zubereitet wurden, war beeindruckend. Zusammenfassend kann ich das Restaurant Kamin uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem Gastfreundschaft, Qualität und Kreativität auf höchstem Niveau geboten werden. Ein Erlebnis, das ich gerne wiederholen werde.
