One of the best Sushi in Rhein-Main area, very dedicated kitchen work with option to visit the chefs prepping. However the service and atmosphere does not deliver a 5 out of 5.

Unfortunately not as good as it was 1.5 years ago. The ambience is still chic, even if there are too many people in one room for my opinion. The food was okay apart from a few small things, but unfortunately it was no longer of the same quality as it had been a long time ago, not everything tasted fresh or as if the products had been at room temperature for a long time. But what really bothered me is that you can only order 1-to-1 products here and flexible ordering of plates is not possible here. There used to be the option of having plates prepared in "freestyle"/by the sushi master, unfortunately the communication with the service staff was very poor, or they didn't want to understand us, we are here in Germany and we speak German there.

The reception itself is unique: on the way from the entrance to the dining room you pass five men dressed in white with chef's hats who are constantly preparing sushi. In general, there are an incredible number of service staff here who accompany you to your seat, take and serve drinks and food, and so on. You feel cared for. And the food - not just sushi - is incredibly delicious. It's just a bit noisy in the guest room - a sound breaker could help. But one thing is certain: we will be back.

I was in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I didn’t expect the food is so good here!!

Christmas party with excellent food and charming service…. The celebration was an absolute success! We were warmly greeted at the entrance/reception and escorted to our table. Tam the manager looked after us the whole evening and every extra request was implemented immediately! The entire team was very friendly and the food was of the best quality. Our employees really enjoyed it and everyone wants to repeat. Thank you for the great evening and see you soon…👍

Very nice restaurant with a great offering. Sushi is freshly prepared and tasty. The service is very good. Prices are a little higher, but it's worth it. Really recommended.

I was there this evening. Get a seat quickly, the waitress had everything in view. Relatively loud ambience but I like it lively, so no problem so far. Things look completely different when it comes to eating. The tuna seemed old and dry at first sight, but this was confirmed when I ate it, be it nigiri or maki. The rolls were basically okay, but they tasted a lot like sauce and masked the actual taste of sushi. Anyone who has ever been to a real Japanese master can tell the difference straight away. The gyoza were cool but tasted ok. Unfortunately, when the waitress was clearing them away, she sprayed the sauce over the table and onto my white T-shirt. Nevertheless, I had to pay the full price. Over 50 euros for one person, it really wasn't worth it.

The sushi was previously praised to heaven. I would say it is very average. But I really liked the service and the ambience. I can definitely recommend it

One of the best sushi in the region!

A very good restaurant, very tasty and high quality sushi. The facility is actually quite fine. It's sometimes busy and a bit noisy. But the service is definitely a 10/10, very accommodating and polite.

The restaurant is centrally located, unfortunately there is no parking directly in front of the restaurant. Despite my reservation, I had to wait 5 minutes to be assigned a seat. Absolute no-go. The location is beautiful and has a common thread, unfortunately the tables and chairs are very close together and the background noise is extremely loud, so that it is difficult to understand the person sitting next to you. Now about the food. The food is very tasty and fresh. The sushi platter was extremely tasty and varied. The service was friendly and made an effort, unfortunately the waiting times for the food, in my case for the starter and the main course, were too long, my patient soul reached its limit at 40 minutes.

Reservation was only made after arrival and upon request. Apparently all (!) window seats were reserved, without a sign. Everything was pretty unfriendly. Starter (Tuna Tataki) was very good, as were desserts (Mochi, Ice Mix fried, Dorayaki platter). Desirable: Offer advice to people without sushi experience. The young waitress was friendly and tried hard, but had no knowledge.

The food came quickly despite the house being full and the waitresses are very nice and the food was great!

Delicious food, service really nice, but the ambience could be improved a bit. Otherwise everything is perfect. The prices are a little more expensive but I think that's because of the good quality.

We always went there regularly. It's relatively not cheap, but the visit was always worth it. However, yesterday we noticed that the quality was no longer the same as usual. 1) Starter No.8 the dumplings: smaller than usual, dough thicker, not so transparent and less filling, the taste different. Sushi rolls appeared carelessly prepared, some were dry, e.g. the roll with duck meat. Completely new service team. We only got our drinks after the starter, upon request. I always enjoyed being there and would probably go again to confirm my impressions.

I've been there several times. Last two times weren't so good. Tuna was weird and smelled weird too. Service was disinterested and inattentive. It's a shame, I liked the store.

We had been here once before with friends and remembered it being delicious, so decided to go back for my wife’s pre-birthday lunch. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS! They were out of gyoza, so we went with the Takoyaki, it was tender and juicy! The seared tuna was as good as we remembered it to be, and everything on the Masters Choice was delicious! For desert we went with the Banana Lover, AMAZING (the whipped cream was average)! We will be back!

Menu clear thanks to pictures. Suhsi was prepared quickly and was beautifully presented. The Suhsi was tasty but I have eaten better. Value for money could be better. I spent €50 as a woman and still wasn't full. We were missing more selection of tempura rolls/crunchy rolls. Unfortunately, we were constantly watched by the staff, i.e. the sushi masters, while we ate. We didn't feel comfortable. Wouldn't come all this way again.

I was there today and ordered tom yuan soup with salmon maki to take away. The salmon was extremely warm in the maki. The soup tasted extremely bitter, stronger than usual. After just 15 minutes I had diarrhea like water, until now 3 hours later!!! A case for the health department!

Es war einfach köstlich! Sehr nettes Personal und tolles Ambiente! Absolute Empfehlung! Die Produkte die verarbeitet wurden waren alle frisch und alles wurde hervorragend zubereitet. Sushi Liebhaber sind hier genau richtig!

We went to Kaizen on a Saturday evening and had sushi there. Our ordering was easy and the food arrived quickly! All orders were grouped together on one platter for each person. The food was very tasty and the service was very quick and good. Gladly again :)

Das Kaizen war mal eine Top Adresse, die Betonung liegt auf es war mal. Lautstärke wie in einer Kantine, Service zwar freundlich aber unqualifiziert. Beispiel: Flasche Wein bestellt, Servicekraft stellt lieblos die Flasche auf dem Tisch und geht weg. Was ich bei einem Restaurant dieser Preiskategorie erwarte muss ich nicht erwähnen, schließlich sind wir nicht in einer Weinstube. Das sush, zumindest bilde Ich mir das ein, war auch schon mal besser. Es gut, aber hat mich auch nicht wie sonst aus der Fassung gebracht. Die Atmosphäre war auch bedingt durch die Lautstärke und Hektik die von den Servicekräften ausgegangen ist wirklich nicht angenehm.

He was ok but...even though we ordered everything together, he came with the appetizers then the sushi. Some people didn't eat sushi, which wasn't ideal. The card said; Aperitif Lille Berry which was 7.5... which ended up being water with berries... I asked the waitress about it. It would be nice if it said... non-alcoholic... she says the boss wants it that way and It stays that way...I think it's really outrageous

Best sushi I've ever eaten! The selection is incredibly diverse and the food is always delicious. I would love to eat sushi here every day. I'm happy to take a 40-minute drive because it's really worth it.

Sushi is not expensive but they are really small. For example if you are 2 person, you should order at least 4 different sushi. (8 pieces per sushi). The order arrived so quickly but if you want something later, the waiters can forget. Because crowded. You can try.

Bad service, I waited what felt like 2 hours for my sushi, I ordered edamame as a starter, I ended up licking the remains of the edamame bowl from my friend because I was so hungry. The cola was very warm

I don't normally write reviews, but our meal today was simply delicious. And not just the food, the staff are also very accommodating. For example, upon request, we were immediately given a place with a stroller. The employees often asked if everything was OK. Thank you!! We will come often and always recommend you! Best regards!

Sushi were delicious but you couldn't really taste the flavors. E.g. truffle or peanut. The staff is very nice and attentive. The location is ok.

Great location with delicious sushi and bowls.

I was there about 2 years ago and didn't find it particularly tasty when I didn't have much experience with eating sushi (i.e. not at many different restaurants). Even after 2 years I have to say the quality of the ingredients is poor compared to ALL other restaurants. (e.g. avocado was firm and not tasty, salmon in the maki was very neon orange and neither looked like raw salmon nor did it taste raw and not good) In general I only had one special roll that was quite tasty but unfortunately didn't have a special taste explosion in the mouth. It all tastes pretty boring. This is also one of the most expensive restaurants I've ever eaten sushi in. We were shocked when we paid 86 euros for 2 people. The starter was steamed dumplings with shrimp filling and sweet and sour sauce. It was tasty but not something I would order again. Unfortunately the sauce didn't go well with it at all. It's a shame that this restaurant has 4.7 stars. Price-performance doesn't match!!!

We ate there several times, unfortunately the last time spoiled the other 5 star impression. The tuna tasted very old and the salmon didn't taste very fresh. But we will give the store another chance!

The restaurant on the left is very loud. This doesn't invite you to linger. Acoustic panels would help. Unfortunately the service is not very attentive! We took “Chefs Choice” for €100. There came 8 nigiris and otherwise just rolls. I like an inside out, but not 8 whole rolls. I wouldn't put that selection in the kitchen again! As for the sushi itself, it has less to do with sushi now. The nigiris were technically ok, but not particularly special either. The rice was well tempered. The rolls look “okay” visually, but nothing more. The sauces destroy the entire taste. Way too sweet, way too much sauce!

It was very full and I had a nice seat in the middle of the room, but also uncomfortable for me. The service was very friendly and accommodating and, even after ordering, found me a quieter and more comfortable place. Thank you for everything.

So the food was very good, everything tasted great... But the service was a catastrophe, there were 14 of us because when we ordered something, each one asked us if it could be taken away, so now you're finally following the motto. When we got sushi but there wasn't a plate, we had to ask if they could bring it to us, so I was so disappointed. The man behind the counter, I don't know what he's doing there, but being customer friendly is something else... So I'll never go there again. And don't recommend it to anyone else.

Clearly and without a doubt, one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to so far. The taste was great, the selection was gigantic and it was superbly prepared. The staff is attentive and quick.

Upon arrival at Kaizen restaurant, I was greeted by a 20-30 minute wait for a table. Surprisingly, it was this very queue that piqued my curiosity and led me to venture inside for dinner. The menu boasted an extensive array of options, predominantly centered around sushi. Opting for the bento box, along with a selection of sushi pieces for sampling, I eagerly anticipated for a food. The presentation of the dishes was undeniably pleasing, with sushi rolls artfully arranged on a stone platter alongside a container of dry ice. However, one can't help but question the necessity of such theatrics. While undoubtedly visually striking, it seemed more gimmicky than practical. Regrettably, the main flaw lay in the execution of the dishes themselves. The sushi pieces were swimming in an excessive amount of sauce, obscuring any discernible flavor. Within the bento box, the lack of distinct flavors made it nearly impossible to differentiate between the tuna and salmon offerings. The sole saving grace came in the form of the oven-baked fish, impeccably prepared and accompanied by a delectable sauce. Alas, it was the lone standout amidst an otherwise lackluster spread. In summary, while Kaizen may not fall into the category of budget dining, its visual appeal fails to compensate for the underwhelming flavors of its dishes. While the ambiance and presentation are commendable, the culinary offerings ultimately fall short of expectations, residing firmly in the realm of mediocrity.

The experience at Local Kaizen was mixed. The staff seemed overwhelmed and despite having a reservation we had to wait outside in the rain for 15 minutes, which was unpleasant. The table was neither clean nor prepared and the place was crowded, creating a noisy atmosphere and detracting from the experience. The prices were reasonable and it was convenient that you could pay by card. However, the sushi was really tasty, which was a positive aspect.

We were here on a Friday and luckily we had a reservation. It was quite full and therefore quite loud due to the guests. Tables are also a bit cramped if you're a bit taller. But: best sushi ever! Totally ingenious combinations and appetizingly prepared. Despite the large number of guests, the food was prepared quickly. The waiters there are on the ball, totally friendly and accommodating. Our waiter took the time to explain the concept of the restaurant and the menus to us. But the cocktail menu would be happy to be expanded a little, perhaps to include a few more Far Eastern cocktail creations?! All in all it was a nice evening, we would love to come back.

I give the much-hyped sushi restaurant three out of five stars simply because it didn't meet my expectations. Sushi was edible in itself, but not a taste explosion. You can do it, but it's not a must :) Parking spaces are limited, dark atmosphere without much decoration, small tables

I give this sushi shop three stars because I've had better sushi in the area. And unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. I would have expected more from a shop like this. The taste didn't blow me away. For the price I could have eaten twice as much elsewhere
