Service and Atmosphere were very good but the food wasn't really to my liking. I ordered the upon noodles and they were not really seasoned so the taste was not there but my friends who ordered sushi were all very satisfied with it and said they were delicious

The employee with the Kurdistan chain was very rude to the customers and showed no respect at all. We waited 30 minutes for the bill and complained, and the Kurdish employee still tried to make us seem like we were wrong, even though this wasn't the case. As we left the store, we wished them a nice evening out of respect, but there was no response! Nevertheless, Kaizenn is a great store and I will be back as usual. I'm just very disappointed that the employees aren't taught respect!

My sister and I celebrated our birthday there today, and it was the best birthday we've ever had. The staff was super friendly, and there were lots of surprises! The food and sushi were amazing! I highly recommend it!

Great selection, everything tastes amazing! My favorite: fried chicken roll with avocado, cucumber, and spicy mayo... super delicious! The homemade lemonades/iced teas are fantastic. Our family likes to use Kaizen to enjoy a lovely evening together with delicious sushi. We were allowed to bring our dog along because he's not a problem anyway. No one was bothered. Reservations are definitely recommended. Parking is limited, but you can also find free street parking nearby if necessary.

Standard sushi made in a fancy way and way too expensive. A place that calls itself fine dining, but it certainly isn't. You get newfangled sushi here that has nothing to do with Japan or fine dining. The sushi counter is open, but you can't sit at it, and you wouldn't really want to, either. The sushi master advertised on the cardboard menu is nowhere to be found behind the counter. Instead, there are young men in shorts and flip-flops. At least there's the obligatory dry ice on the slate counter.

First time here, as I'm flying from Frankfurt tomorrow. The first impression was actually quite good; it was busy. Drinks were served quickly, but I had to wait 20 minutes for my food order before I asked if I could order. By that time, it was actually pretty quiet. My sushi platter arrived; a roll was missing, a Nigerian was wrong, and there was a really long hair on my platter. I was still in a good mood and told a waitress that something was missing from my sushi platter, and there was a huge hair on it. Then the "main" waiter came with the platter and asked me what was wrong with it. I explained it again. The hair was, of course, already gone. Then the waiter said they'd "remake" it. The platter came back a few minutes later. It looked identical and had never been remade. I lost my appetite. I don't know if that was the reason, but the sushi itself was just so-so. My sushi with fried salmon in a roll tasted old and dry. The sashimi was good.

We were there for the first time. It was rush hour... it was packed. Good thing we had a reservation and the reservation was CONFIRMED. The food came quickly despite the crowd and was delicious! 5 stars for that! The service was attentive, but towards the end of the evening... well... tired?!? Several times, someone walked past us, ignoring empty glasses. We would have liked another drink... but we were sent upstairs for the bill. The ambiance was nice, but with lots of small tables, it was totally designed for the masses. Accordingly, it was loud. Just keep that in mind; if you're looking for a cozy restaurant for a date, this is the wrong place. Unfortunately, I have to say that it bothered me that the floor, the handrail on the stairs, and the table were sticky... it immediately left the feeling that it wasn't clean. Will we come back? Of course, because the food was great, the service was friendly, and everything else—we know what we're getting into. Oh yes, parking is difficult, so allow enough time to find a parking space.

KAIZEN is highly recommended! The food is delicious and the service is always top-notch. Even for spontaneous visits, a solution is always found. It's best to always make a reservation, but I would go back anytime.

I've been a regular at KAIZEN in Raunheim for over five years. I'm still more than satisfied. Whether it's crispy breaded rolls like Totori Fumiko, classic versions like the satay roll with peanut sauce, or appetizers like karaage and edamame, the quality and taste are consistently excellent. Attentive service and a harmonious atmosphere round out every visit. For me, KAIZEN is definitely my regular sushi spot, and I'd even go so far as to say it's the best sushi place in all of Hesse. I highly recommend it.

The best sushi restaurant I know in the area. They also serve some fancy sushi, beautifully presented. Reservations are recommended, as all the tables are often booked. The service is always friendly, but you often have to wait a long time for someone to come.

I had an incredible experience eating here today! The service was quick and although there was a small mistake with one dish, it was resolved right away. There’s a wide variety of rolls, all carefully prepared and really tasty. I’m usually not a fan of tuna but I’m also always open to try new stuff and I’m glad I did, since it turned out to be my favorite dish out of everything we ordered. To sum up, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Even if it’s a bit far away from where I live, it’s worth it. I totally recommend it. :-)

This is a medium sized well visited restaurant. It has a nice easy and decoration although a bit minimalist. The food is freshly prepared after your order in front of you. The quality is very decent and the taste also good.

We went out to dinner together on a Sunday evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. For starters, we had edamame – a classic, as you would expect. The Ika Mika tasted okay, solid, but not particularly outstanding. On the other hand, we really liked the Haru Haru – a fine, balanced composition, very pleasant in taste. The main courses were the real highlight: Both the totori and the satay were delicious – harmonious, finely balanced, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everything seemed very fresh, the flavors were perfectly matched. Simply delicious – highly recommended! The restaurant was packed to capacity; we had a reservation for 7:30 p.m., and there was already a long line waiting outside – a clear sign of the place's popularity. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was pleasantly calm and relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. A place with style, taste, and atmosphere – we'd love to come back!

Yesterday, I ate at the KAISEN restaurant with a dear friend. The menu offered a wide selection of lovingly presented delicacies from Eastern Asian cuisine – just browsing through it was a pleasure. My sushi platter was a real highlight: buttery soft and delicious. The service also left nothing to be desired – attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive. The ambiance was stylish and elegant without being pretentious. Overall, a place I highly recommend – both for connoisseurs and those who value atmosphere. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are four steps at the entrance to access the interior. However, there is also outdoor seating.

Today was our first, and I would say last, time at this restaurant. The food was actually quite tasty, but the conditions, especially one particular waitress, were simply impossible and rude. When I asked if it would be possible to serve number 57 (chicken fillet with vegetables in Thai curry sauce) with Udo noodles instead of rice, she told me I should go to a Chinese restaurant if I had such special requests.

The food tastes good, but often arrives cold because the waiters simply let it sit for several minutes before serving it. There are no rules or order of priority; whoever complains the most gets served first. The waiters are all unqualified and offer little help if you have questions because 80% don't speak German. If you can't handle that many guests at the same time, then don't let so many people in.

Overall, the food was good, well-crafted, and above average in taste, though not exceptional. I'd particularly like to highlight the service: attentive, fast, and consistently friendly – ​​you can feel the genuine hospitality. The restaurant was very busy during my visit, which speaks volumes about its popularity, but it was also correspondingly loud – making relaxed conversation difficult. If you like a lively atmosphere, you'll feel at home here. In conclusion: I'd happily return for the service, but the food could still be improved – but it's definitely a solid recommendation in the area.

We were here for the fourth time. The food is still good, but I think the quality has dropped a bit. Unfortunately, the sauce for the dishes (6. Tataki tuna and 54 duck in miso sauce) is no longer specific to its authentic character as it used to be, but rather a bit generalized, which I think is a shame. Unfortunately, the signature of the restaurant has been lost. Unfortunately, service is no longer attentive as it once was. We have to give signals 4-5 times until the service could finally register it. A little more attention from the service would help the restaurant a lot and would also restore its previous good professional reputation. But they are all friendly!

Unfortunately, after my fourth visit, I have to significantly lower my rating. We were at Kaizen on April 30, 2025 and were looking forward to a nice evening with delicious food. However, nothing came of it. If there are 6 waiters running around, it should be possible to serve the 6 tables that were occupied in a reasonable time. The drinks were brought after a very long wait and we ordered our food. 1x crispy duck, 1x duck breast and 1x bento box. The first attempt came with a drowned crispy duck and 2x bento boxes. After an eternity of discussion, the crispy duck and 1 bento box were taken away again. The crispy duck then arrived as shown in the picture on the menu. However, with the duck breast it wasn't really clear what was supposed to be on the plate, other than sauce. The dish looked like carrot soup. So for us this was definitely the last visit to Kaizen!!! How can you get so bad in such a short time (6 months)?

I recently visited this restaurant and had one of the worst dining experiences I can recall. From the start, service was extremely slow — we had to wait an unreasonably long time just to receive menus and place a drinks order. When the food finally began to arrive, the problems only got worse. The wrong order was brought to our table, and when we pointed it out, the staff insisted we had ordered two bento boxes, even though we clearly hadn’t. One of the dishes, which was supposed to have the sauce served separately (as shown in the menu picture and experienced on previous visits), came out with the duck completely drowned in sauce. When we tried to return it, it sparked a discussion with the staff claiming “it is always like this,” showing a complete lack of flexibility or customer care. They were very reluctant to fix the order properly, which simply added to the frustration. The replacement dish took so long that by the time it arrived, the other members of our party had already finished eating. Even worse, the duck looked unappetizing and was again swimming in sauce. No one came over to check if everything was okay — we had to literally flag down waiters who were standing around chatting near the stairs, ignoring customers. When it was time to pay, the poor service continued. One waitress said she couldn’t process my bill, called someone else, and simply walked away. Another waiter eventually came over, but even then there was confusion and delays, as the person handling payments was more interested in instructing her staff than helping customers. Throughout the entire experience, there was no apology offered for the mistakes, the delays, or the awful service. Nothing was taken off the bill to acknowledge the inconvenience either. Overall, a truly disappointing experience. Given how many issues we faced — slow service, wrong orders, poor food quality, staff arguing rather than helping, and terrible customer service — I definitely won’t be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to others.

I've been to this restaurant three times now - each time a long time apart. The food was always really good, no question about it! But unfortunately the service is an absolute disaster. The waiters usually stand at the door, don't look at the tables and prefer to busy themselves with their cell phones. This time we had to shout loudly three times before anyone even came to us. When the waitress finally came to the table and we told her the food was wrong, she said she would call someone - but no one came. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I ended up eating the wrong food because no one came back. When I paid, I explained the situation again - but instead of an apology or a small gesture of compensation, I was told to pay the full price. No solution, no insight – absolutely unprofessional. On our first visit we were brought the wrong food. Nevertheless, we wanted to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, things didn't get any better. Don't get me wrong: the kitchen is really great! But a restaurant isn't just about good food - service is just as important. And with almost 5 stars on Google, you can expect honest feedback. This was the last visit for me. It's a shame - but thank you.

The quality of the food was also disappointing this time: the sushi rice was mushy and the taste was by no means at the usual level. Waren nun schon öfter im Kaizen. Letzte Besuch ist allerdings 2 Jahre her. Resümee: Immer noch top. Sushi optisch sehr ansprechend und super lecker. Gläser extrem sauber - Klasse. Personal fleißig, aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr gutes Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis. Freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch, bevor wir ab Frankfurt wieder in den Urlaub fliegen.

We have been here several times - for years - and were unfortunately very disappointed on our last visit. Somehow everything subsided: From service (very inattentive) to taste (sometimes very sweet, dried lukewarm rice, overcooked vegetables) to quality (spring rolls only convenience). Until the penultimate visit there was still a small sprout salad at the front as an amuse gueulle. Some of this had only been brought beforehand upon request (because it was served at the neighboring tables), but now no one was in sight! Somehow it seems like you think that since the store is always full you can cut corners - I could imagine that this backfires at some point! For us it was probably the last visit, as a one-hour journey is no longer commensurate with the quality and this “experience”!

The waiters just stand by the door and don't look at the tables. This time I had to shout loudly three times for someone to come. Well, as expected, the water spilled and everything was wet. Come to clean? Lame ducks. They should come faster and apologize properly instead of quietly saying "sorry" as they walked by. The first time, we were also brought the wrong food. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant is great, and I wouldn't cry if it had 3.5 stars, but it's almost 5 stars, so you just have to tell the truth. Sehr schönes Lokal mit guten Speisen. Die Jungen Kellner, ich vermute Studenten, sind etwas unbeholfen. Aber das Essen schmeckt gut. Die Akustik im Raum ist sehr laut. Es sind eben viele Tische. Die Enten Spieße und das Lachstatar waren sehr gut. Sashimi war gut, aber sehr kalt, so kommt der Geschmack nicht so gut rüber. Etwas mehr Wasabi wäre auch schön.

Since we love eating sushi and often visit the Katsu in Ingelheim, we thought we would take a look in the surrounding area. We stumbled across the KAIZEN in Raunheim. First of all: reservations are mandatory! Getting a place without a reservation involves waiting time. For starters we had tuna in batter and baked octopus also in batter. Both were very tasty. For the main course we chose different rolls. All were with fish or seafood. Personally, I liked the special rolls the best. The dragon roll was my favorite here. The futo maki were also very good. I can highly recommend Fumiko here. We were expecting the remaining rolls. The homemade drinks taste good but the quantity is manageable. If you're really thirsty, you're better off with a bottle of water. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times. Due to the high number of visitors, the volume was very high. But this shows that the throughput of food is high and everything is fresh. If you want good sushi at moderate prices, you're in good hands here.

So overall an 8 out of 10 - the starters etc were great - fish very fresh - marinades very good - only on the last visit the inside out rolls were very dry - no idea why - much better in 2024 - was still an absolute highlight for me in 2024 - because the menu is really very good and has something for everyone! I'm wondering what I can reserve a table for and then have to wait over an hour. How pointlessly simple. Set times, keep times. If you have to wait 10-20 minutes, okay, I understand, but that's awful.
