The manager of the restaurant was very rude. I came there to celebrate my birthday. The manager gave us Bad attitude. We even didn’t try the food we had to leave. My birthday was Ruined and I needed to look for another restaurant on Sunday night.

This is my first restaurant review in Germany and unfortunately it is negative. Nice atmosphere and decor and unacceptable behavior from the older staff. My daughter and I were literally insulted at the doorstep when we arrived for dinner. The reason for this was an unexpected guest, my 2-year-old grandson. Our nanny was sick and couldn't take care of him while we ate at the restaurant. The manager was unhappy that the table was reserved for two people and not three. And sat us in the most uncomfortable place. We were denied a high chair to feed the baby. She was rude and very unfriendly. The evening was ruined. I don't recommend this place for those who don't have a reservation at another restaurant.

Small Japanese restaurant in the old town of Leonberg. In the beginning it was very quick to take the order. Service was and accommodating. Had starters of salad, Tayaki and the Kaiso plate which were tasty and okay. Unfortunately two friends reacted to the noodles with beef nr31 fish sauce with (lime, chilly, pineapple). When we asked, we were honestly told that the ingredients were fresh and had been boiled and other guests had no complaints. Overall it was a nice evening and I would love to come again. We recently went to the sushi restaurant Kaiso in Leonberg and had a wonderful experience! Despite no reservation, we were assigned a table at short notice. We tried various dishes including wakame, California rolls, nigiri with lots of fresh salmon and scallops - everything was simply delicious! I would particularly like to highlight the delicious sauces, which rounded off the meal perfectly. The taste was incredibly fresh and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely be back and can only warmly recommend Kaiso to every sushi lover in the Leonberg/Böblingen district!

Beautiful, modern and cozy restaurant with really tasty and fresh sushi. I often have the pho soup here because it is super tasty and the portion is large and filling! The prices are a little higher than in other restaurants, but you can taste the quality. Kaiso is now one of my favorite restaurants because everything is right here.

Everything was simply delicious and beautifully and stylishly prepared. There is something for every taste and preference, including a good selection of vegan dishes. Friendly and competent service. In addition to the excellent food, there are also very good drinks, for example the Kaiso lemonade. We were very satisfied.

The food was very tasty. We had gyoza as a starter, sushi as a main course and baked bananas as dessert. We found everything extremely tasty, in our opinion the portions for the baked banana could be a little larger given the price. We thought the fruit as a topping was great. gladly again

Horrible behavior from the staff. Glasses are snatched out of hands and visitors are sent away immediately after paying. Very unfriendly staff. A large crowd does not give anyone the right to treat visitors like that. With such an attitude the restaurant will very quickly lose its status.

I rarely write a review for anything. I only do it when I exceptionally like or dislike something. This one I exceptionally disliked for their service. As soon as I sat down, the waitress came to take order, which is a good thing. However, when I said "I need more time". She said "you should order fast as you don't have much time". I just wanted to get up and leave. Anyways, I ordered Pho which was delicious. When I was taking break from eating the waitress came and asked "are you done?" reminding me to hurry up and leave fast. Overall, very bad experience and will never go there again despite of good food. Just to clarify, as I am an "Auslander" my experience is not valid for Europeans.

We ate here today following a recommendation. It was really very good, the food came quickly and was of excellent quality. We can only recommend it and will definitely come here again. Unfortunately it is very small here due to the building, so it is better to make a reservation.

This was our second time eating there. The quality is excellent and absolutely justifies the price. The staff was particularly accommodating about my food allergies. The service, the ambience, cleanliness are all very good, there is nothing to improve. We felt very comfortable. The quality of the food is also very good. However, the food didn't meet my personal taste. I had the teriyaki chicken. Yes, teriyaki is supposed to be a little sweet, but at the same time a little salty. Unfortunately it was just sweet here. I felt like I was eating dessert. And I didn't taste anything other than sweet. No salt, no spices. Despite or perhaps because of the sweetness, it tasted quite bland. Another drawback, at least for me, is that the salad is served on the same plate as the main course, a deep plate. So the flavors mix a little and I have hot and cold food in one plate. I personally can't stand that at all. In addition, the salad was completely over-seasoned. Unfortunately, the homemade iced tea was far too sweet and I couldn't finish it. In summary: service, quality, cleanliness top! Unfortunately the taste is not my thing at all. Much expensive in terms of price.

The sushi was quite nice and the place had a great ambience. The place seems to be a bit understaffed though, as we had to wait quite a long time for our order and the waiters looked very stressed. Also, it turns out that the online reservation system on the website doesn't really work and our reservation was not accepted.

The restaurant is busy from late afternoon onwards. Reservation is an advantage. Food tastes A1. I have never eaten such delicious mini rolls with vegetables and crabs! The sushi was excellent, freshly prepared and came beautifully presented on a platter. The seating and tables are well maintained. The decoration matches the ambience and enhances the stay. The employees make an effort and are friendly, although the service was a bit lacking: dishes were put together - the employee walks past and doesn't take them, but she does from the table one further away. I also understand that the restaurant is about to close (30 minutes!), but it's rude to ask, "Can I cash in on you already?" The toilets are clean and tidy. The restaurant definitely adheres to hygiene! Overall it was still nice and we would love to come back.

Yes, honestly at first glance the waitress doesn't look that friendly, but she does her job absolutely right, quickly and professionally 😌 After 2 years of orders and reservations, I'm now used to her relationship 😆 We are people and have different temperaments. Very nice service and accommodating. The ambience and decoration such as the cherry tree and the plants on the walls ensure a good sense of well-being. Although there was no air conditioning in the restaurant itself for the hot weather, it was still compensated with many fans. The food came quickly and was excellent both in terms of taste and appearance.
