I haven't eaten there in many years. A lot has changed, and for the better, of course. If you like Asian cuisine, you should definitely try it.

The food was very, very tasty. The meat practically melted in your mouth, and the sauces and seasonings were excellent. The side dishes, such as vegetables and everything else, were also very good and complemented the rest very well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The overall ambiance was very good, and the interior design fits the theme. I always enjoy eating here.

We ate there with our business. Delicious buffet and very friendly service.

Very nice place to enjoy the tasty asian food. They have a huge variety of dishes within their buffet. The seafood is delicious and worth trying. They also had a variety of sushi options, desserts, drinks. The staff seemed friendly, ambience was good. The pricing was also good. Suggestion- if you don’t like too much oil or are pure veg or vegan then this place will not please you because they have too much oil in everything.

We got a box from too good to go and it was quite good.

Ich hatte ein Peking-Enten-Essen gebucht für sieben Personen. Wir waren schon einmal vor einem Jahr in diesem Restaurant zum Pekingentenessen und waren damals begeistert. Diesmal war der ganze Aufenthalt eine Frechheit. Wir haben zuerst alkoholfreie Cocktails bestellt, die aber doch mit Alkohol waren. Wir wurden lange Zeit nicht bedient. Aber eine echte Zumutung war das Essen für 37 Euro pro Person. Alles wurde vom Buffet genommen. Die Pekingsuppe wurde aus dem Buffettopf genommen, das Entenfleisch war ohne krosse Haut auch vom Buffet. Die Krönung der Unverschämtheit war Reis in zwei kleinen Schalen mit Tiefkühlerbsen. Wir sind alle nicht satt geworden. Und das nach drei Stunden Wartezeit. Auf den Nachtisch haben wir verzichtet. Auf unser Argument, dass wir ja alles vom Buffet bekommen haben und da ja mehr Auswahl gehabt hätten und weniger bezahlen hätten müssen, hat man nicht reagiert und und drei Herren, die dann kamen, sind sehr unfreundlich geworden. Ein wirklich merkwürdiges Restaurant und auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen.

I come here regularly. I love Asian food and have been to tons of different Chinese restaurants in many different countries. But none was as good as the Imperial Palace in Mannheim. This is due to the Zhao couple, whom I have known since their time in Fellbach. The two live out their character in their restaurant. Hard work, order, cleanliness, quality and honesty. The whole restaurant is just an eye-catcher, even though it is so big. There is cleanliness everywhere, at the tables, at the buffet, in the toilet. The selection is second to none, as is the quality. In terms of taste, every dish is way better than in other Chinese restaurants. Friendly staff, free parking, Luisenpark right next door. It's always a moment of happiness to be able to come here.

Imperial Palace Mannheim – a popular address for family celebrations We visit the Imperial Palace regularly, especially when there is something to celebrate - birthdays simply belong there for us! Especially at lunchtime, we enjoy the great all-you-can-eat buffet with a huge selection of starters, main courses, desserts and a wide variety of meats. The quality is right, the prices are fair and the service is always friendly and attentive. There is always a little surprise for birthday children, which makes the visit even more personal. In the evening the whole thing is even better: at the grill station you can choose raw ingredients that are freshly prepared and brought straight to the table - a real highlight! Whether with family or friends – the Imperial Palace has become a permanent tradition for us. We come several times a year and always look forward to the delicious food, the relaxed atmosphere and the great service.

I came here because of a Tiktok. I tried the buffet. Unfortunately I have to say, not a big selection, some of the stuff didn't taste fresh and wasn't tasty either. I definitely wouldn't visit again.

The food was rather mediocre, below average. It was clean, but that's a prerequisite anyway. I missed a few things. What was amazing, though, was that I paid €4 for my 10-month-old daughter... In other Chinese restaurants like Weinheim or anywhere else, I don't even pay for my eldest daughter, who is 2 1/2 years old. -Limited dessert selection -Lots of sushi So, in the end, it was really expensive, paying a lot for both children.

The Kaiser Palast under new management (they ran the Asia Paradise in Ma-Speckweg for a few years) is great. Today I didn't choose a buffet, but from the menu. Wonderful, the food, the presentation. Staff very accommodating. The furnishings are very tasteful, there are plenty of parking spaces in front of the house and even more in the yard. I'll definitely come often.

At first, we were very satisfied and went there often. But over time, the food always became the same. At first, you didn't have to make a reservation to get a table. Now, it's the only way. You don't have much time to eat; sometimes only an hour, and then the next person is already there, waiting for a table. It's mass processing and nothing more. The raw meat is refrigerated, as are the fish and salad. The ice looks like it's almost thawed. I wouldn't recommend eating there. The last time we were there, it was a disaster; something was wrong with the fish. My partner and I suddenly felt so sick that we paid and left. We felt sick all night. But that wasn't an isolated incident; it's happened before. We won't eat here again. I can't recommend it; I put my health first. Normally, the WKD should conduct an inspection here. In conclusion, the pictures are always better than reality.

It's hard to believe I'd ever say this: Unfortunately, I don't live in Mannheim, otherwise I'd be here more often. Very attentive and friendly staff. We had the a la carte and were very satisfied with everything. The buffet also looked very good.

We wanted to go for sushi. The sushi selection was small, but there was a large selection of other Asian dishes. The fresh meat you could choose from was also very good. You mark your plate with a clip, and the chef prepares it fresh. The plate is brought to your table. About €28.90 per person, about €9.50 per child. Drinks are extra. Bottled water about €6.50.

What a great buffet experience it is here. Everything fresh, great preparation on the grill, good sushi and so on. Be sure to go hungry so you can try everything.

After I hadn't been a guest at the Imperial Palace for a long time, I visited the Asian restaurant one day. As usual, guests lined up at the Mongolian buffet. The prices for the Mongolian grill have also increased here - €28.90 per person. Since I wasn't very hungry, I ordered chicken soup with glass noodles and 2x spring rolls. I was particularly looking forward to the spring rolls. After I had eaten the soup beforehand, the spring rolls arrived and I was amazed. Until now I knew spring rolls rolled in a thin and crispy dough. This is not the case here - see photo. The dough was thick and had little flavor. Of course, tastes are different, but a little taste is fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Don’t be fooled by the so called ‘buffet’. Take a few rounds of seafood and started to be rude and told us not take anymore. They even took out some of the quantity in our food to not let us eat more. Waited for those need to be cooked for 35mins and served us in a rude manner. Seriously need to reconsider if you want to come this place to eat till you’re satisfied.

We were here for a buffet dinner with 14 people. The queue stretched out onto the street, luckily we had a reservation. The choice is large, from a wide variety of meat, seafood, vegetables and sauces that you can put together yourself and then hand over for preparation, to a choice of 12 dishes and a large selection of desserts. None of our blackheads had anything to complain about. The buffet is priced at €28 per person. appropriate. The service was quick, courteous and reliable. Some motor workers only speak English. Overall, we were all satisfied and will come back.

The best Asian food we've eaten in a long time. The evening buffet had more to offer than we expected. A short-term visit was also possible without any problems with a free table. We were so excited that we planned the next celebration here.

I can claim to be a regular and I love it! Despite the size of the location, you always have the feeling of being welcome and the service and presentation as well as the taste of the food speak for themselves! Everything is always very visually appealing and extremely appetizing, many thanks to the hosts for that... I like coming whether alone or with someone, the restaurant is always worth a visit.

Me and my husband went there very often because it tasted very good. The other day we were there with our little daughter and they only had high chairs for older children aged around one year or nothing for 7-10 month old babies. I think it's a shame that they didn't think about the very small children, it wouldn't be bad to have a few Ikea high chairs so that the parents can eat in a relaxed manner. (we still tried to put our little one on the chair they had, she slipped, thank God we could hold her quickly otherwise something bad would have happened :(

We were there for a company Christmas party. The selection is large and the ambience is first class. What really bothered me was the brisk demeanor of the waitress - during our board member's speech, the waitress burst in and asked when we finally wanted to order our drinks!?! Price performance is ok, you can't complain but as I said, it's the little details that matter. If you have the feeling that you are being pushed, it is deadly if you want the guest to come back

I celebrated my birthday last night and was thrilled afterwards. The table was beautifully set and the staff were always attentive, friendly and accommodating. Everything was spotlessly clean. If something went wrong, someone was there in no time to clean it up. The food was fresh and was always refilled. There is everything your heart desires, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert. And what really touched me was the birthday present when I said goodbye, a bottle of wine, not booze!! beautifully packaged. Looking back, I'm glad I celebrated my birthday here because the children and grandchildren were all very happy. We'd love to come back!!

I've eaten there several times and I'd like to leave a recession behind. The restaurant is adjacent to Luisenpark in Mannheim. There are enough parking spaces, if you drive past the building on the right there is a parking deck, many people park directly in front of it. A few meters further is the Waldhof Mannheim parking lot at the entrance. And on the other side of the street behind the large building there is a huge park area, all free of charge. What you immediately notice when entering the restaurant is the lovingly designed ambience. It's all in a shade of red to match the theme. The toilets are a bit hidden in the back left corner but are super clean. The buffet is in the normal price segment. On a normal Saturday lunchtime you'll walk away with two drinks and a buffet for around €40. The service is attentive and quick if you have special requests. Since I always eat buffet, I can't say how long it takes if you order from the menu. Or whether there even is such a thing 😂 The selection is very large, but there are no chocolate fountains. And that's the only negative thing I can say. There is an outdoor terrace, but since there is a busy street next to it, the operators have tried to make the most of it. In the warm months you often have a bee visiting the table, which is because they tried to obscure the view of the street a little. Not a problem in itself, but if you have allergies you should stay indoors... . All in all, and even at second glance, a really great restaurant, the food is also very tasty and I always leave feeling full 😇 I think that says it all.

Really delicious Asian buffet, the best in Mannheim! It was a Saturday evening and therefore very crowded (reservations are required!), but the quality of the food made up for it. Sometimes there were queues at the buffet and the next room where we sat smelled a bit strangely of sewage, but once you sat there for a long time you got used to it and it didn't really bother you. The service is super nice and often comes by to clear plates and reorder drinks. As with any Asian buffet, prices are rather steep (€29 for the buffet without drinks). Most main dishes cost around €22 (except basic pasta or veggie dishes for ~€15) which is why it's almost not worth ordering anything else. However, the buffet is super delicious! There is really a huge selection and sometimes things that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Really highly recommended. There is also a large free parking lot right next to the restaurant.

The hydroponics at the festival are full of fungus gnats, e.g. T. flew into the food, then we made a reservation, a friend who came later was turned away "we wouldn't be there for another 2 hours", Then me and my wife had severe indigestion, after 11 hours all the food came back almost undigested, the body refused to digest the stuff! It's hard to prove, but everything points to food poisoning. Oh yes, before I forget, wiping dust with a broom from the ceiling down to the tables after opening is NOT possible at all!

Absolutely Asian highlight a must if you are in Mannheim On my birthday we drove an extra 3 hours to Mannheim to eat in this restaurant the food is delicious the service is nice and really accommodating I think the price is completely okay drink is like always expensive but that doesn't matter because the food is excellent I have never eaten such a delicious salad and such delicious sushi in a buffet. The warm dishes are also great and the grill selection is fantastic. We are so grateful for this restaurant and for every experience we had that I'm glad that we Winter discovered it and can now have fun with it, thanks for everything :)

Typical all you can eat. Everything tastes okay, there's a large selection and, above all, it's frequently refilled. Only the waiters are a bit overwhelmed/slow. You have to find someone to reorder drinks every now and then.

Very rich lunch buffet at a good price. Went in spontaneously with a larger group and got a place without any problems. Many different starters, a wide selection of salads and side dishes as well as many different types of sushi. The grill is not open at lunchtime, but the many different types of dishes (chicken, sweet and sour beef, Bami Goreng, Nasi Goreng and much more) including roasted duck, prawns and the like make you forget that. Some desserts of ice cream, cakes, muffins and fruit were also offered. Only labels on the buffet would be helpful.

Even though it's Christmas - you've rarely seen such a poorly organized restaurant. First we had to wait 20 minutes in the cold because the table wasn't ready yet. Then you have to wait in line for 5-10 minutes to get halfway to food. That's not really customer service. Eat sola. Partly empty due to the mass of people. Cold. Unfortunately the spring rolls were not cross. The crab chips tasted old. Unfortunately the beef was very fatty. Unfortunately the food was nothing. There are people everywhere who bump into you and get in the way once and never again.

We visited the Imperial Palace with a group of 7 people, including a child aged 9-12, and unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. The buffet, for which we paid €30.00 per person, was of poor quality - neither the selection nor the taste of the food was convincing. What was particularly annoying was that our child, who actually falls into the cheaper price category, still had to pay the full price. Despite our requests, this was not accepted. Additionally, our card was not stamped, which made us feel like the staff lacked organization or commitment. Overall, we were not convinced by the price-performance ratio and the service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the visit.

We dined here on December 24th and unfortunately it was a very bad experience that I cannot recommend to anyone. When we wanted to pay, I had coupons with me that I received on my last visit. However, the waiter did not accept these, even though he accepted coupons from other guests. That was already disappointing enough. We also had a 12 year old child with us. According to the restaurant's official website, the meal costs €17.90 for children between 9 and 12 years old. Still the waiter didn't accept the price even though we showed him proof. This injustice and lack of transparency are simply incomprehensible and extremely unfortunate. Our Christmas dinner was supposed to be a beautiful moment, but was spoiled by this experience. We definitely won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant.

We raised this politely and even provided evidence, but the person in charge refused to acknowledge it. What made the situation even worse was that while he was turning us away, we saw discount vouchers being readily accepted at other tables. This double standard is not only disrespectful, but also extremely unprofessional. I really can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The evening was completely ruined and I deeply regret even eating there. The situation was particularly bad with the child in our group, who is 12 years old. According to the website, the buffet for children aged 9-12 costs €17.90, which we also discussed and even verified. Still, he refused to acknowledge it. As if that wasn't enough, we saw him accepting the coupons from another table while simply rejecting ours! This is just disgusting and disrespectful. I really can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We were there on Christmas Day. The food didn't particularly stand out from other Chinese restaurants. But so far everything was OK, but after 2 hours one of the few German-speaking waiters came and wanted to collect money because the next shift was there. We didn't know what he meant at first, but it quickly became clear that we were being asked out, so to speak, because the next guests were already there. He asked if none of his colleagues had told us this before, but that wasn't the case. So we quickly scooped up our plates and left. Without this "expulsion" I would have given 4 stars but only 3, because there is so much choice of Chinese buffets in the region that there is no need to particularly highlight the Kaiser Palast.

Food very good, very nice service, everyone was on point, large selection of different dishes. Then why only one star? Zebra, camel and kangaroo meat don't have to be there, but at HAI! STOP IT AT ME! Sharks are among the endangered species, almost all of them. Most of the time, only their fins are cut off while they are alive and they are thrown back into the sea where they drown in agony! For me it is therefore an ABSOLUTE NO-GO to see shark in whatever form on the plate. If I had been there alone, I would have left immediately!

You have a buffet that leaves almost nothing to be desired. You can also have food fried/grilled and it will be brought directly to your seat. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Some ready-made dishes contained, for example, beef, a cheaper imitation of meat (30% beef + a similar cake mix). I didn't like it very much. I discovered this in 3 dishes. The rest is really great.
