Were at the Annafest in this cellar. Catastrophic! Bean seeds with boiled belly and convenience dumplings, €13.80. Waited at least 20 minutes for a drink order. Not recommendable!

Cozy biergarten on the side of a hill. Serves Veldensteiner bier which has an acquired taste. Standard biergarten fate is on offer to compliment the halve and maß biers being served along with soft drinks.

The Kellerplatte was OK. Special request was considered and executed correctly. Price-performance ratio is still okay, €12 here; you can get it for €9-10 in a more rural setting, but that's also okay for the Kellerwald. The bread, however, was unfortunately very dry. And two breaded schnitzels with cheese and ham in between are no Cordon Bleu. The beer was good and cold. What weighs more heavily, unfortunately, is the service. And here, the fish literally stinks from the head. Our actual server was friendly, competent, and attentive. However, the boss's behavior is unacceptable. I can't berate employees in front of customers; that's unprofessional. It's also unprofessional to send an employee ahead because of a booking error, only to then listen as the boss from the side and then ultimately speak up from the side, thus embarrassing the employee instead of taking responsibility. I heard this at the next table. In that time, the service could have been on the other customer. The fact that card payments will still not be possible in 2025 is transparently stated on the menu, but does not demonstrate progressiveness.

We had a reservation for our visit, which unfortunately was not honored. After a long wait, we were finally assigned a table. When we ordered, one of the dishes was brought incorrectly. After we reported this, we were assured that the correct (cold) dish would be served "immediately" – unfortunately, to no avail. Even after another 15 minutes, the food still didn't arrive, while the rest of the table was long finished. The way our justified criticism was handled was particularly disappointing: The first waitress reacted rudely and said that they could only wish for better customers. Only a second server showed some understanding and listened to our feedback. The manager, who was obviously aware of the situation, didn't feel it necessary to contact us or apologize – another sign of the lack of appreciation for guests. Overall, a disappointing experience, one we wouldn't want to repeat.

The question that comes to mind is how many reviews. Customers actually wrote about this. Reviews were made where the basement was not open at all. That's a lot of cheating reviews😅😅 What if I then charge six euros for a mug of beer? Where is the best price?

Too bad, it's time to pay at 9:18 p.m.! No one asked if we wanted another drink. The sausages looked delicious, but didn't taste that good, just bland. No one even asked when clearing the table whether they were tasty. The beer was delicious. Service with considerable potential for improvement. Another positive: Very nice guests at the table with very pleasant conversations (they had to change cellars for another beer). Addition to the answer: Your answer doesn't reflect the facts. We were even asked to pay at 9:07 p.m. because the cellar was closing - the bill is there. Further addition: Other guests at our table weren't billed, but were billed by the manager about an hour later with a manual receipt, as the cash register had already been removed. Two-tier guests?
