Kaiser Keller in Forchheim

We were in Franconia again yesterday, and of course, at the Glockenkeller in Forchheim. And once again, it was perfect. Friendly, quick service, great food, and a lovely atmosphere under the open sky! We had two Schäuferla (a kind of pork stew) with dumplings and sauerkraut. Very large and perfectly cooked for a reasonable €16, and a half-liter of beer for an incredible €3.60. All in all, it couldn't be better or cheaper!

The question that comes to mind is how many reviews. Customers actually wrote about this. Reviews were made where the basement was not open at all. That's a lot of cheating reviews😅😅 What if I then charge six euros for a mug of beer? Where is the best price?

Very unmotivated and unfriendly staff. Stupid remarks instead of a proper greeting. Special requests aren't accepted; they prefer a side salad instead of bread... not available. Instead of the three sausages I ordered, only two arrived! We won't be back.

Cozy in the shade. Large enough that it was already getting crowded. The food was so-so. But I was only there once to eat...that doesn't mean anything, or rather, since it was busy, it was probably fine.

Beer garden after beer garden, starving and evaporating is not possible here.
