Simple, delicious, and all good! A doner kebab just like in the 90s. The portion is generous and the taste is consistently great! Friendly and always quick service. There's always a queue during peak hours. Where the price and quality are right, of course, lots of customers come!

The doner kebab tastes quite good, even though it's not a real meat skewer, but a mixed skewer of minced meat and poultry. (Not a doner kebab, but a rotisserie.) The ingredients and bread are fresh, but the meat often comes from a warming container rather than directly from the spit. The price of €8 is simply too high for that – you can get a proper skewered doner kebab with a seat for the same price in the area. It tastes okay, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right.

Best kebab in all of Hesse! EDIT: Unfortunately, after 6 months, I have to update my review... There's hardly any kebab in the kebab bread, so it's easily only 1/3. It hardly tasted like a kebab, more like salad on a sandwich. Luckily, my husband ordered a kebab box, so they threw in some of that. I think it's outrageous that they charge more (which is normal during this crisis) but put less kebab in the bread. A kebab should have enough meat and not just taste like bread and salad. I don't know if I'll come back; I was extremely disappointed!

I don't need to tell you that, do I? 👌 It tastes just as good as it did 20 years ago. The team did a great job and was always friendly. Thank you so much.

The right place if you miss the taste of 90s doner kebabs. Eating them brings back memories of days gone by. Unfortunately, the meat is often taken out of the container. The wait is also always very long, as they only take one order at a time and process it before the next one can order.

The best kebab. The ingredients are fresh and well-distributed. You can find the sauce on every last piece, not just on top. Amazing! And very friendly service. Highly recommended.

Used to be the best kebab, the meat has been out of the container for more than 3-4 years, which ensures that the meat is cold, limp and rubbery! To the owners: Please cut the meat fresh and serve immediately, never in a warming container! Please take it to heart! I love waiting in line for delicious, hot kebab! That's not the case here, but there's a queue for free!

One of the best doner kebabs in the area

This kebab shop is by far the best in the area. I've been a customer there for years and have never had a single complaint, as everything has always been perfect. From the outside, the shop may look a bit unappealing, but I'll accept that for good food. The prices are completely justified, as the food is filling and they now even offer a larger selection of sauces (spicy and cocktail sauce). Since the prices online are unfortunately no longer up-to-date, I can only say a regular kebab costs €7. I'll definitely be back!

The best kebab in the Alzenau area! When we're hungry for a kebab, we're happy to make the drive and pick up our kebabs, kebab boxes, and Dürüm exclusively from here. It's unassuming and unappealing from the outside, as it's a "small kiosk," but the taste is the best around. Absolutely recommended!

Someone is complaining about the long row 💀💀 The row speaks for itself, it is apparently a top kebab, you clever man 💀🤣 I have been eating here for 10 years and it is simply ORIGINAL kebab from a small kebab shop, all "kebab shops" that also sell pizza, burgers, etc. are not real kebab shops. At Kahler Kebap Haus they serve real kebab like in the Sold in the 90s The quality is always top-notch. The staff always wash their hands before preparation and don't touch the meat or anything else. The bread is always crispy and good. The staff are very nice and hospitable. This kebab is the kebab I trust the most and it simply tastes the best. The sauces are top-notch and the service is just great. I will be eating here until the end of my life!!❤️🥙

Hello, I have honestly never eaten such a delicious kebab. You can't complain about the prices because they are honestly fair for a kebab shop. The boss is a very friendly man and he often gave me drinks on the house, which was very nice of him. The staff are nice too. You can't go wrong at this kebab shop!

Today I was at the kebab shop again for a long time, which was actually one of the last "good old ones". Meat came out of the warming container and was appropriately rubbery and tasteless... The rest is also far away from the former kebab! For me this was the last time here today.

The kebab was okay, but not a highlight that you would have to drive miles for. Just a normal kebab, nothing more, nothing less. So I can't understand the hymns of praise like "Best kebab far and wide". It was just okay...

The quality of the food here is wonderful. The service is good and quick. It is just a tiny service area serving out a window so I think counts for street food 😀 there isn’t much to go on for atmosphere which I only gave it 4 stars, but there aren’t really any problems. Every time I go or drive past there is a queue. This is what made me go in the first place. To see how good it is. I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a certificate up for halal food.

It may not look particularly fancy as a street food box, but this is most likely the best veal kebab there is. There is a parking lot right in front of it. Don't be afraid to ask about the preferred mix of vegetables and veal. The service is good and the open-air atmosphere can't be beat, especially on a sunny day.

I've been eating kebab there since I was a child. I now live in Portugal and every time I'm back in Germany, I come to Kahl to eat a kebab. Unfortunately it has deteriorated significantly. The kebab is no longer what it used to be. The old OGs behind the rotisserie are no longer there either. The kebab there was more refreshing. A pity!

I prefer the Dürüm rather than the kebab here but the Dürüm is a unique opportunity simply perfect with lots of meat

Der Döner ist einmalig, manchmal lange Wartezeiten.

Ganz ok.. Mir kam es etwas salzig aber mit der sosse passt das.

Najlepszy kebab w okolicy ale tylko jeśli robiony jest przez szefa , jeśli robią go pracownicy szczególnie ci nowi to poziom dużo spada w dół

Der Döner ist ok aber nichts besonderes. Das Fleisch ist wenig Gewürzt, die Soße hat viel Mayo, wenig Kräuter und sehr wenig Knoblauch. Das Brot ist Standard aber gut getoastet, innen ist es noch fluffig. Das Gesamtpaket passt aber, die Komponenten die da sind sind frisch und harmonieren daher erinnert der Döner an einen klassischen aus alten Tagen.

Sehr lecker nettes Personal guter Service.

Das war der beste Döner, den ich jemals hier essen durfte. Alles hat gepasst. Das Brot hatte die perfekte Form, das Frische aus den Tomaten und Salat hat man deutlich geschmeckt und das Highlight an der ganzen Sache, das Fleisch. Diesen Döner muss man wirklich wirklich probiert haben!

Döner wie in dern 90er! Einfach aber genial! Komme immer wieder gerne her!

Der Döner ist einfach für sein Preisleistung perfekt, er schmeckt echt super! Klar kann man das noch optimieren aber sonst sehr gut!

Guter Döner direkt an der Durchgangsstraße. Parkplätze sind etwas schwierig, evtl. muss man etwas laufe. Man kann sich dort zudem nicht hinsetzen! Also entweder to-go oder am Stehtisch. Nicht schlimm, muss man aber wissen.

Döner war sehr gut. Nicht durchgeweicht, alles knackig und die Pommes waren auch außen kross innen saftig . Hätte ich so nicht erwartet . Gute Arbeit. Beim nächsten mal eine Scheibe Tomate mehr 😋

Alles soweit perfekt nur die Öffnungszeiten stimmen Sonntags nicht immer. Hat angeblich noch geöffnet und war 30min vor schluss da. Ist geschlossen. Sowas ärgert mich, wenn man bei regen 10min läuft und das umsonst.

Sehr leckeres Döner! Nette Arbeiter. Man bekommt alles ganz schnell und man sieht, dass Sie sich Mühe geben. Würde ich nur weiterempfehlen!! Deshalb 5 Sterne von mir.
